She loves to make friends and she loves to talk. When she first began the game, Charlotte was very excited to pick her class. She wanted a class that was survivable on its own, but able to help out in groups. The class she decided on was Monk because she felt a great need to help others by being their tank when it was necessary. It's extremely easy for her to make friends which stems from her innate want to help others in any way possible. Though she is a fairly outward and friendly girl, she does have a deeper, darker side to her. She has a great dislike for bullying of any kind and is extremely overprotective of the weak. She will go out of her way to help those in need, even if it puts herself in a bad situation. Many would say she has motherly tendencies. That said, she's extremely naive towards the way people are as a whole. She wants to believe very deeply that everyone in the world and in the game has a good side deep within them. She believes people are innately good rather than evil and if put in the right situation, will always make the right choices. This comes from her upbringing to trust and feel for the people around her. The believes that the people around her are the main source of safety for her. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Charlotte was actually born in North America and played Elder-Tale there when it was a game. Back on that server, she played as a Samurai and made several friends by doing very well in her job. When she was 15 years old, her father found work in the United Kingdom, causing her and her family to move along with him where the money was greater and more easily taken. As a result, she was forced to transfer servers. Though she was initially against it, she found resisting the move entirely futile as she had no other family in North America which allowed her to stay. So with a heavy heart, she said her farewells to her friends in the real world and in Elder-Tale, leaving them behind forever. Her first few days in the United Kingdom were very sad, boring and otherwise lonely. She met people, but she found very few people she found interesting enough to hold conversation with for long. Many people found her either annoying or overly friendly. Boys liked her, but she wasn't exactly interested in any of them for particularly long. She decided not to play Elder-Tale for the first few years she was in Britain, not wanting to start the game up and realize none of her friends were there. Rather than playing video games, for the next four years, Charlotte pushed herself to learn many skills and hobbies, such as taking a Korean Martial Arts known as Tang Soo Do. Over the course of time in the martial art, she met a few people which she made friends with, giving her something fun to do aside from playing video games. Her school career soared, giving her grades which she'd normally not attained. Without her focusing on gaming, she was given plenty of time to do school work. In her first year of college, she decided to turn on Elder-Tale again to past the time. With the release of a patch, she was transported into the game without her knowledge. This skill utilizes a combo system, where after about a minute if the user had not gotten another kill, the effect is canceled. [attr="class","skill"]Aura Dragon Punch: A skill that is performed by cupping the hands together and then thrusting them forward at the opponent. This generates a densely-concentrated ball of mana which is then thrown forward and deals physical damage to whatever it hits. While this skill can be used in rapid succession, it drains 10% of the user's maximum MP every time. [attr="class","skill"]Suplex: The user grabs hold of their target and leaps into the air. During the grapple the user spins horizontally then the victim is flung over the shoulder and slammed into the ground. This skill does more damage the longer the user holds on, but at greater risk. [attr="class","skill"]Needlework: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly. [attr="class","skill"]Haggling: Merchants gain a passive 10% discount when purchasing from the NPC Shop. This bonus can only be applied in the market subforum, not the web shop. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Cloth Armor. A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it.
