Appearance Ein is a fair-skinned, medium-built teen of average stature. He has a messy brown hair. The most notable feature in his appearance is his broken white mask, revealing a part of his face. Through the damage in his mask, one can see a small light-blue pattern on his face which suggests his Race of Rituals roots. His green eyes are often obscured by the shadow of his mask although visible if you look at him closely. Aside from his mask, he wears a shabby green turtle-neck long-sleeve shirt, a loose black pants and a pair of brown shoes. He then tops it with a tattered brown cloak which he wears sideways, covering the right side of his body. He wears a necklace with a silver crucifix pendant. This is to deceive others to think he is a priest, hiding his corrupted side. He has broken chains in both wrists. He likes loose clothing because he can feel sense and manipulate mana and miasma better and easier this way. He walks slowly and relaxed, with bearing and poise. His mask symbolizes his outside nature hiding his slowly fading sanity due to miasma corruption. In real life, Ein is controlled by Lord Crowe Waldstein, a 20 year old psychology student. Lord Crowe is a tall, medium-built man, with half-closed eyes and black messy hair. Ein’s appearance is Lord Crowe’s ideal appearance for himself. | Personality Ein is an introvert. He doesn’t like going out in crowds. He tends to solve and do all things alone. He is a very silent person. He will only talk if necessary. He is a person who trusts his intuition, but before he act, he thinks first. Whenever his intuition tingles, he confirms it first if it is correct. He is the type of person who thinks about patterns of what happened before in order to decide the best course of action; at the same time, he is observing, he learns from experience and by observing how the world works. Although he is kind, silent and shy on the outside, his sanity is slowly becoming twisted due to miasma corruption. Due to the corruption, he is slowly changing to a cold person towards others, be it fellow adventurers or people of the land. In making decisions, he weighs the pros and cons without bias, not through emotions because he hates it. He believes emotions are the weaker animalistic sides of adventurers. He makes clear decisions and organizes plans carefully, although he can change plans and improvise immediately and easily if necessary. Although he often likes to be alone, he can easily mingle with others. He actually likes controlling the actions of others. Ein believes that honesty is just a communication tool, and like a tool, one can choose to use it or not. It is only optional for him. He can be honest or not depending on the situation, the only important thing for him is getting his goal, not how he got to it. He doesn’t trust anyone. He believes his only ally is himself. He is often a reserved person. The only people he values the most are the ones who are useful to him. He is not a competitive person. He will only participate in PvP or even PK if he believes he can gain something from it. He doesn’t play by the rules. He is willing to do anything to achieve his goal. He believes that rules are only for the weak who can’t live without them. His only fear is that the corruption consumes him fully in the near future before he gets to his goal. |
Extra
- He chose the Apothecary and Pharmacist subclasses in hopes to find himself a cure for the miasma corruption which is slowly consuming him.
Biography
Lord Crowe Waldstein
Lord Crowe is a 20 year old psychology student. He came from a poor family. He is now living on his own as a working student. His mother passed away when he was just a kid due to a disease. His father died 5 years ago due to an accident. Since then, he lived on his own, sustaining his studies and everyday living by working at a young age. Since he was a child, he was at the upper half of his class in terms of academics. Because of work, he didn’t have a chance to enjoy being a child and play; therefore, he didn’t have any friends growing up. Every day passed in and out but it is just the same. He didn’t know where his life is going to, so he decided to take up psychology in college, in hopes to know himself, to know what he really wants. He is now currently working part-time as a barista at a coffee shop, where he met Nicole, the girl he loves. She is also a barista at the same coffee shop. She was actually the one who introduced the game Elder Tale to Lord Crowe. It was their past-time during off-shifts. Because of the game, they became closer to each other each passing day…
…Then the catastrophe happened. The two were trapped in the game. There occurred a stampede in the city where they were, and the two were separated and he never saw her since then.
Lord Crowe, now as Ein, struggles to find a way out of the game and to find Nicole at the same time.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Heretic
Spellwalk:
Tier I Skill
A toggle skill that allows a character to cast a spell without forcing them to remain immobile during the spell's casting duration. It is an excellent skill to take for those who prefer an on-the-go strategy or at least a less vulnerable position. When the character moves while casting a spell, their movement speed is halved. This speed penalty decreases to 40% at Level 30, 25% at Level 60, and 10% at Level 90.

Black Operon:
Tier I Skill
Toggle skill. Heretics are the primary manipulators of Miasma and it is no surprise that they are able to extract excess Corruption from their body whenever it is needed. When this skill is toggled, the Heretic selects a Corruption Stage. If the Heretic should then enter that Corruption Stage, they will gradually lose an amount of Corruption points equal to the Stage selected, at the beginning of each post cycle. For example, selecting Corruption Stage 1 will cause the Heretic's Corruption points to decrease by 1 each post. Selecting Corruption Stage 5 will result in their Corruption points being decreased by 5 each post. As soon as the Heretic's Corruption Stage drops below the designated stage, their Corruption points will stop decreasing. This skill may be untoggled in order to select a new Corruption Stage.

Tempting Hysteria:
Tier I Skill
The Heretic uses Miasma in order to attract malicious spirits that crowd around a target. A target affected by this skill experiences auditory hallucinations, as though the spirits are constantly whispering into their ears. The closer the target is to the Heretic, the louder these sounds appear to be. The casting time of all of the target's spells are increased by 0.1 seconds for every 1 meter they are close to the Heretic. Its maximum range is 20 meters, its casting time is 5 seconds, its duration is 30 seconds, and its cooldown is 60 seconds. A target currently affected by this skill's effect is treated as though their Corruption was increased by 2.
