Biography
Blackwell is the third child of the Philologus family, a family well known for their literature, and the oddball between his siblings. When Blackwell was sick he nearly died of an unknown disease, but was able to survive due to his parents' money and influence. As Blackwell grew he was taught by his parents any moment they could spare and loved to read their stories, but by the time he turned eight he started finding stories that he read lackluster and he also noticed that his black hair was turning white. As time progressed people noticed this also and started to stay away from him due to fear that Blackwell’s sickness that he had when he was born had come back and might be contagious. A few months after Blackwell’s condition became noticeable Blackwell himself noticed that he couldn't write stories like he had been for most of his life, the spark that charged his stories was dying and Blackwell fell into depression.
It was when Blackwell was fourteen that his family went on a trip and that the accident happened. The trip was meant to finally bring Blackwell out of his depression which he had been in for six years and was also meant to reteach everything that Blackwell had learned, so that he could regain his spark and finally write like he used to. After being on the trip for a week one night Blackwell’s family was camping in the forest when a Savage Sycamore attacked their campsite. Within five minutes Blackwell’s parents older brother and some of the family servants were dead and all who was left was Blackwell’s two younger sisters and his other older brother, Michael. In an attempt to save his younger siblings Michael charged at the giant tree and was killed after the second blow. Out of all of his siblings Michael was closest to Blackwell and was also the one who proposed the trip, so when Blackwell saw Michael die a switch was flipped and Blackwell became what could only be called a demon. He didn't grow wings, horns, or a tail but he attacked with all of his might and destroyed the Savage Sycamore in the most terrifying way possible. It could be said that rage can be shown in three ways, one was to do it openly like a beast, the second way was to let it seath out under your words like a snake, or third which is perhaps the most terrifying let it just be there and let it become insanity. The third option was what Blackwell choose and with murderous intent behind him he killed the tree within a matter of minutes.
After spending the next few hours mourning their lost family Blackwell then had his little sisters while he let out his rage. The next morning the trio gathered things of importance and made their way back to Lune Seaport and back to their home. Once home he talked to his uncle Liber Philologus, who incase anything happened to Blackwell’s parents he would be the head of the family till the first son was old enough to lead the family, and explained what had happened during the trip, but with him and the second son being dead the next heir was Blackwell who still had four years to go until he would be the head of the family. Now seventeen Blackwell has left books to the rest of his family and is focusing on delegations with other citizens of Lune Seaport.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Sorcerer
Magi Lightning, Grand Fall: Tier I Skill
The Sorcerer raises their hand or weapon to the sky and performs a casting animation, causing a portion of the sky to saturate itself with mana. Afterward, a thunderbolt will fall from the sky and strike the foe for lightning damage. This skill cannot be used on a target indoors. If it is cloudy or stormy when this skill is used, its damage is doubled. If used in stormy weather, it also splash damages everything within 1 meter of the target. The sign of a bolt from the blue is a significant phenomenon talked among the People of the Land, so this skill has had a number of names such as "Fury of God". This skill is notable for being a technique with a massive range, except that its casting time and cooldown prevents the skill from being anything other than a combat initiator. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds, a range of 25 meters, and a cooldown of 30 seconds.

Mana Arrow: Tier I Skill
A non-elemental skill with fairly low base damage that resembles a thin white-colored laser beam. It makes up for this inherent weakness by its low cooldown and possessing the ability to homing on a moving opponent. Particularly agile enemies can still outrun and dodge the arrow, while others can still lead the projectile into an obstacle. This skill has a casting time of 1 second and a cooldown of 5 seconds.

Barrier Spike: Tier I Skill
A skill known to be one of the very few defensive options available to a sorcerer. The magician calls upon the powers of earth in order to erect a small wall of spiked stalagmites from the ground. This walls can withstand a moderate amount of physical damage before falling apart. However, the Sorcerer shouldn't count on this as their only defense. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 30 seconds. Barrier Spikes are considered to be resistant to Earth and Physical attacks and weak to Wind attacks.

A toggle skill that allows a character to cast a spell without forcing them to remain immobile during the spell's casting duration. It is an excellent skill to take for those who prefer an on-the-go strategy or at least a less vulnerable position. When the character moves while casting a spell, their movement speed is halved. This speed penalty decreases to 40% at Level 30, 25% at Level 60, and 10% at Level 90.

Magic Light: Tier I Skill
The user summons a bright ball of light. This spell has no real offensive properties and is mostly just used for illuminating a dark area. One particularly characteristic about the Magic Light is its face, which changes expression in a way mimicking its owner. It's often voted consistently near the top of annual Elder Tale "Which of these summons would make a good plushie for Elder Tale to sell as merchandise" polls. It comes in three forms - a spherical orb, a ball of flame, and a bundle of small firefly-like lights. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a duration of 2 minutes for Mage classes. For any other class, the duration of this skill is dropped to 30 seconds. There is no cooldown for this skill, but it cannot be conjured again for 10 seconds after it has worn off or manually canceled.

This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds, a maximum duration of 20 seconds, and a cooldown of 30 seconds.

Evaluate: This skill allows the scholar to gain additional details about the enemy. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used. It has a one second cast time and one second cooldown time. The target's elemental weaknesses and a brief summary of their skills will be made available to the Scholar any time they access the target's interface.
Foresight: Toggle skill. Whenever an opponent performs an offensive skill, an information bar will appear in the top section of the Scholar's vision for a few seconds. This bar contains the name of the intended skill and the name of the intended target. For Scholars who have extensively studied monster skills, this ability will come in handy to warn teammates of an impending threat.
Level 21 Scholar Skill: Placeholder for level 21 Scholar Subclass Skill
Crafting Class: Scribe
Transcription: Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%.
Document Backup: Passive skill. A good Scribe should always make a backup of anything they patent! Any research recipe successfully created by a Scribe with this skill will result in two copies of the same research item received.
