Appearance Carol is what many would describe as lithe. She is thin and flexible like a reed. She's in relatively fit shape with broader than average shoulders for a female. She has long blonde hair up in braid and then further tied back into a neat bun while leaving several longer strands on each side of her face loose with her bangs. She keeps her hair held in place with a simple leather strap that she ties off behind her head. Physically she is on the shorter side though not anywhere near what would be considered noticeably short. Standing at roughly five feet and four inches in height(5'4") she is short but not diminutive. Her face is of another type of beauty. While pretty in her right she is not what many would consider gorgeous. Her almond shaped light blue eyes seem to scan and appraise all they fall upon with a constant light of defiance burning low within them. Her eyebrows are well kept and shaped with the utmost care while being only half a shade darker than the hair on her head. Her nose is small and delicate. Her lips are slightly pouty with a nice mellow color to them. She maintains, to the best of her ability, well manicured nails and does her best to keep her hands from taking damage. Not having access to polish or other frilly things with which to do her nails she does however do her best to keep the filed and her cuticles pushed back. When not in her armor she tends to stick to darker colors but not those so dark that they make her already light skin tone appear paste white. her clothing tneds to varying between ash grey and Prussian Blue. All these thing she does to appear confident and in control despite the vary lack of it she has due to the shared circumstances imposed upon everyone. She walks with her head held high and her shoulders back. She believes firmly that as someone with the power to do something about the situation that she should act as confident as possible to perhaps inspire confidence in those around her. Her gait is of someone with a purpose. Not too fast or slow but each step is taken with a deliberate purpose. Once more believing that every action she does can inspire confidence in those that look upon her. If one were to look upon her and not know a single thing about her they'd think of her as some rich girl. And in that assumption they'd be right. She hails from a long standing wealthy family within the country of Wales in the United Kingdom. Her care in her actions and speech within the game are a direct transfer from the social standards and niceties enforced within her class offline. When creating her character Carol decided to make it as true to life as she could deciding that playing something as close to her own appearance as she could would make her less likely to fall victim to the temptations of online anonymity. After all, if one could identify her by her in game appearance to herself outside of the game then she would do no actions to bring attention to her family. | Personality She's determined. She's set herself to the tasks ahead of her having decided that the only person who can save her is herself. That and for once simply asking for things isn't getting her those things. The game has changed her life giving her a purpose. She is quiet though extroverted. Not your typical social butterfly nor is she the wall flower at the edge of the group. She is willing to put herself in the midst of it and bring her own points of view and ideas to the table after hearing all other ideas. Carol tends to be the type to sit back and watch gathering all the information she can before making a final decision. She's not one to go without a plan of action. And to her emotions tend to cloud judgement. She has them and respects the emotions of others but does not put a priority to her emotions or those of others when it comes to decision making. Carol can be labeled as a control freak. She doesn't like it when her plans don't come together but she is not so hard set in them to lack the ability to adapt. If she notices a particular plan is not bearing fruit then she is quick to abandon it and put in place another. Carol views honesty as an important thing. She also views moral as an important thing as well and understands that sometimes in order to maintain morale you must lie. Her trust in other players, new people is there but constantly shifting. She is not the type to blindly put her full faith in someone until they've proven that they can be relied upon. Upon meeting new persons she's likely to let them do the bulk of the talking. She prefers to use actions, rather than words, to judge a persons merit. And should they be found wanting either by words spoken or by actions made she cuts all ties to them. She has no time for un-trust worthy people. In large groups she's the type of person to seat herself at the table with the leaders to get an idea of them as a person. She'll ask questions of those nearby and feel her way through the situation while forming an opinion of the group. Carol's take on people changes depending upon the situation. Given the fact that death, at least for characters played by humans trapped in the game, is non-permanent she is willing to sacrifice others to achieve her goals. Call it cold hearted but if she sees the death of another as a means towards her own goals she'll willingly abandon a party member to their death. Carol is competitive to a point. She see's the value in competition and will engage in it but does not actively seek to be better than others. The taste of victory is not wasted on her though. she savors its flavor when she is fortunate enough to have it but is not so addicted to it to make it a driving force. Strengths: Determined Critical Thinker Self Starter Weaknesses: Control freak Callous Manipulative |

Biography
Carol's life has been one of privilege. Her parents, her grandparents and their grandparents hail from wealth and favor. Due to this fact her upbringing is different than most.
Her school years were full of private institutions, social clubs, and various other elite activities. The one thing that was reinforced from the day she enter primary school till the day before the incident was, "You're a social elite. Even if you dislike someone play nice with them. Someday you may be able to make use of them someday."
Her grades were of average ratings. Somewhere between high marks and failing depending on the subject. She had "friends" though the majority were more towards the "someday I may have a need of you" social group.
Her family life was as normal as wealth would allow. Her father and mother working some and interacting as best they could with their children. The larger portion of adults in her life were maids and nannies that were employed by her parents. As the middle daughter of three she grew up knowing she'd receive very little from her parents and that suited her well. A tomboy at heart she enjoyed doing more boyish things. While a good many girls would skulk away at mucking out their horses stall she was never shy about grabbing a rake and track shovel.
In her secondary school years she kept to small constant group of "friends". She never had any admirers that she knew of. She'd never been kissed or had a boyfriend and that suited her fine enough. It was not a matter of superiority or lack of interest in the opposite sex. In fact quite the opposite, she had the same interests as other girls her own age but would prefer to have a romance with someone who she was certain wasn't with her just because of the public image it would give them.
Upon graduating from secondary school she enrolled in yet another social elite school. Another, admittance thanks to her last name and parents money. By this point she'd come to be callous over how easy it was for her. Her grades, attitude, and extracurricular activities mattered little. All that did it seemed was her last name and money.
So she took an interest in online gaming. Online her alias was all anyone had to go by. She could be who she really was. She could say what she truly felt and not worry about what it might cause. Truthfully, when she discovered Elder Tale the game had been out for sometime and she'd not been gaming long. When she began her adventure within the game she played on foreign servers as the UK did not have its own yet. She was hooked. In this digital world she could play out those childhood fantasies of brandishing a sword or casting spells. In this digital world it didn't matter who she was outside the game but who she was and how she played in the game. And when the launch of the UK server was announced she scrambled to contain her excitement in front of her family and friends. When the game launched she rerolled her character and made herself ready for a new adventure. A new escape from who she was outside the game but still tethered to it so as to not completely forget herself.

Longinus: Level 20 Shape-Shifting Weapon
Named after the spear of legend, this weapon's standard form is that of a Rapier. Due to it being what it is, it is a bit bulkier than normal rapiers. This is because it can transform into a lance of a normal size. To change the weapon from blade to lance, one need only hit the trigger underneath the hilt of the blade. The blade will then increase in width, bulking up in size, and extend to about three times its normal length. The trigger on the lance is about where it would be on the sword, and can be used to shift it back into a sword. The total animation time for this mechanism is 2 seconds, and the cooldown time is 5 seconds.
Second Anniversary Cake: Level 30 food display. A multi-layered cake with extra frosting and toppings made to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Apocalypse in the Unfounded Kingdom. It can be used as furniture in Guild or Personal Housing, granting +1 to all housing stats. It can alternately be eaten in a thread to grant a Food Buff for 5 posts. The Food Buff grants +5% movement speed, increases maximum HP by 10%, and also heals the user by the same amount immediately upon use. Untradeable.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Guardian
Knights Heart: Toggle skill. Conventions of medieval warfare made it so that even the most heavily-armored knights tended to become the most difficult to take down, thanks to their trusty mounts. These teachings form the basis of this skill. While almost essentially a must-have for Guardian-Cavalier hybrids, it is still a fairly useful skill in the right circumstances. This skill raises the Guardian's aggro-attracting presence while in a mounted state. If this skill is used by a Guardian whose subclass is Cavalier, then they also raise a 10% bonus to AGI while mounted.
Resilience: A passive ability of the Guardian. Due to their highly defensive class role, their HP regenerates faster outside of battle compared to other classes. Additionally, they regenerate a small amount of HP within battle, every couple of seconds. This passive battle healing is not very high, but it might prove to save one's life in the long run.
Shield Mastery: Passive skill. As the premiere tank of Elder Tale, the Guardian's signature equip is their large shield. It's rather bulky and takes some time to get used to for most players. However, considering the Guardian's playstyle, prolonged use means that they are unparalleled in terms of wielding shields. A Guardian with this skill can equip shields with an item level of up to 5 levels higher than their own Guardian class level.
Roleplay Class: Cavalier
Jousting: The Cavalier's specialization in horseback combat is revealed in their greater proficiency of lance combat. Any two-handed spears or polearms wielded by the Cavalier become one-handed while they are mounted. Additionally, if the Cavalier's main class would normally penalize them from using spears or polearms, this skill allows them to use spears and polearms without penalty.
Squire Training: The bond between the mount and owner is strong enough that it will temporarily stand by its owner. The mount's HP is increased by 50%. It will still automatically desummon if its HP would otherwise drop to 0. Mounts desummoned in this way by non-Cavaliers cannot be summoned again for 30 minutes.
Crafting Class: Woodworker
TIMBER!: Toggle skill. Woodcrafters naturally have an affinity for chopping and carving wood, making their abilities key in harming monsters that happen to be arboreal in nature. Woodcrafters deal 20% more damage to Plant-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Plant-type monsters upon a successful hit.
