Do you believe in ghosts?
It was time ot continue, and Saber didn’t want to stop for anyone. With his set of napkins completed and ready to go to the hall, Saber dropped onto his next task. Said task was a set of table cloths. Of course, they wouldn’t be just any table cloths. No, they were going to be Funeral Parlor table clothes and they were going to be fancy. Saber considered going the boring route and was just going to make regular old black cloths, but these were going to be ones he could be proud of. Sure, he was a tailor. Sure, he was messing with cloth and crap but that would not stop him. Saber only knew two speeds; one hundred percent and one hundred fifty percent. In this case, he was going with the latter. He wanted to be the best Tailor in East Jesus, and dammit table cloths were going to be his stepping stone into greatness. Well, actual napkins would be because they were his first craft but that was beside the point.
Nonetheless, Saber got busy. He cleaned up his area of napkin tools and pulled out of his inventory the much larger pieces of fabric which he would require for his craft. He had three different fabrics again, but these were of the highest quality that he could get. Without the need to collect anything and the goal being to just look fancy, Saber didn’t need to worry about the nitty-gritty details. He needed these cloths to look nice and they had to be large enough to cover tables. Thus, the materials could be simple, but the best. And so, Saber pulled out his silk and satin cloths. He had a large, oversized roll of silk, a smaller bit of silk, and a roll of satin. The large roll of silk that would make up the most of the fabric was black, the other two were white. However, in addition to the fabrics, Saber also placed a few peculiar items on the table; mana fragments.
Why, do you ask dear reader? Well, these mana fragments were perfected ones. Their cores glowed a brilliant blue and shimmered all on their own. Blue magical essence flowed through their crystal bodies and caused them to glisten even in the darkness. The essence in the fragments swirled and danced within the crystals, performing various different lightshows which gave them each a personality. Some fragments shined aggressively, others lulled in the darkness as if they were asleep. Saber had created many of the fragments as an Alchemist and now he would put them to work. With many different fragments and various sizes to work with, his table cloths were going to outshine the competition… literally.
“Alright… Time to go.” Saber smirked beneath his scarf and started to work. He pulled at the roll of silk and unraveled several feet of it off. He used a small table in the middle of his room as a size example and draped the fabric over the edge of it. Once he had enough, Saber walked back to the roll and used his fabric scissors to cut the bit free. Of course, only a third of the table was covered. And so, he performed the same action twice more until he had enough fabric to completely cover the round table and so that some of it hung over the edges. With the three pieces sized and set, Saber took his needle and thread and began to sew the three pieces together. Using the same black silk thread from before, Saber connected the three strips together. Once they were set, stage one was complete and he moved into stage two; carving the circle.
