Appearance In game, Noa inhabits a rather unforgettable body. She wanders at about 5'2, but takes on an imposing physique. She weighs in at a hefty 190lbs, being heavy set and very muscular. Her shoulders are broad and bulky, with large, powerful arms by anyone's standards, along with big, rough hands. In her usual crafting attire it's hard to miss the iron-solid muscles of her stomach and down from her hips into her thighs. The shape of her body could be described as pear, maybe being a little more bottom heavy. Not an inch of her is small or fragile, but she is just as soft and squishy as she needs to be, and can offer the highest class of hugs. As a tank, her appearance fits the bill, but she doesn't fit the personality that might come with that image. Often times, she appears this odd but comforting 'soft but tough' lumbering Mum. And that is a good, accurate description of the woman she is. Her face is a mix of rugged, trustworthy, and cute. The general shape of her face is square, not hiding her buffness in her face at all. She harbors her own brand of cute, mostly through features like her eyes, which are large and bright, and a shit-eating grin, for lack of a better term. Noa's face is oddly charming in this cheeky, rough and tumble kind of way, and it's not uncommon for people to find her hard to read because of this. Golden-green eyes sit nicely against her tan skin tone, and fail to be intimidating out of combat. Her hair is a soft pink, which turns a dark blue/black near the roots, but a nod to her much beloved real world body she added for her own amusement. It's long on the left side, with bangs that come over part of her face, but does not cover her eye completely. When she is crafting, she tends to hide her hair under a bandanna or cloth of some kind, to stop it getting in the way or coated in oil or grease. Noa has a slow, relaxed, yet paced step to her walk. She carries her weight well, and she appears to be comfortable and content in the body she now finds herself within. There is a sway and gentle swagger in her walk you don't often see. Almost like she could have a giant hammer slung across her shoulder and be perfectly at home. She never seems to be in a massive hurry to go or be anywhere. Her silent confidence tends to make people at ease rather than intimidate them. As far as her choice of clothes go, the woman doesn't tend to go too flashy. If anything, she's quite keen to show off her 'ripping' midriff as much as possible. Generally, her clothes are subdued in colour, and leave her arms open. Baggy, comfortable clothing are her style, not interested in anything form hugging. She is proud of her body in way that isn't cocky, but genuine. It gets things done, and she is confident in it. As far as bodymods go, she has a few piercings, including a bottom lip piercing, an eyebrow piercing on her right brow, and an industrial piercing on her right ear. She may give herself more as time goes on. It is not uncommon to see her skin, especially her hands and face, coated in oil or similar. As a wolf-hair, Noa, when in battle, sprouts a pair of ears and a tail. This is the only downside of her body. When she created this avatar she thought these features were just a cute little add on, but she didn't expect actually having to live with it. Usually, she goes into battle with a bandanna on. This isn't necessarily to hide them as much as it is to make the increased sensitivity a little more bearable. While the idea of gaining the audio-visual input of a wolf seems pretty neat, in reality its much less comfortable. Her ears take on the same pink hue as her hair, and the tail is large and bushy. The tail she can almost live with. Her in game body isn't really too much of a jump from her real life one. In real life, Noa is still a large woman, maybe more fat than muscle, but she is fit. There aren't many people who would call Noa beautiful, but that isn't like she's trying to appeal. The way she is, and the way she carries herself, oozes a non-conceited self confidence. It's this confidence and her own self-made beauty that would make her gorgeous to someone. | Personality There are probably just as many people in the game now that took on the role of their character as there are people who decided to be themselves. Noa is exactly like she would be in real life. A larger than life extrovert, who loves other people and lending a hand whenever she can. Maybe the only difference now is that she's taken a more motherly role towards people. While she doesn't actively find situations to interact with people in, she does love being with others, and you have to be a very particular kind of annoying to grind her gears. Usually, she is tolerant of anyone who has a good nature. People who refuse to see the positive side of things for no reason get on her nerves. She understands that this situation they are all in is going to cause a lot of trauma for many people, and they will need help to adjust, but that is not the same as being an asshole. Similarly, she sees no joy in people who only use 'logic' in a situation. People like that in real life were never any fun and only really served to rain on as many parades as they could. People who approach other people with just logic, clearly aren't very versed in people. Humans are illogical and emotional at their core. To decide what's best for a person based on cold, hard, unforgiving logic is a fools errand. Noa has the tact and heart to deal with people and their problems, which makes her a little bit of a Mum to a lot of people. As a person who prefers to feel than think in any given situation, believing squarely in her own mind and bodies ability to do as it needs, she has learnt a lot about the working of the game, and about others. She has a lot of confidence in herself and the people around her that they can get whatever jobs need doing, done, and understands the needs of people to do things in their own ways. She tends not to judge people in they way they choose to do things, and she tries not to. Noa is not a rigid, unmoving structure of a person, and tends to be cool to go and do most things. Considering the situation, however, she doesn't like to fight when she doesn't have to. She can keep her cool under pressure, and it's hard to get her to really feel stressed. Taking things one step at a time, she doesn't find it hard to lay out the elements of a situation or task, and take it one by one. Approaching things in one huge pile never really sat well with her, and her brain likes to break things down into points. Their are people who don't like doing this, as it creates what can be perceived as a never ending list of stuff that can be overwhelming, but luckily, Noa can deal better when in a list, and she tends not to get overwhelmed by masses of things. Trusting and trustworthy are two things Noa likes to be. In this world a lot of people have found themselves trapped and afraid, and Noa knows the importance other people play in hopeless scenarios. She wants to be the rant wall, the one people can trust with their worries about the state they're in, and whatever hope they may or may not have. In times like these, the bonds forged with others may prove vital in simply getting by. If you need a talk, a hug, or a punch, Noa will provide to the best of her ability. In return she expects only trust and honesty. In her mind, these two things are some of the only properties they have left. While she knows there are times people do lie, and may not want to tell the truth, for their own perceived good, the good of others, or for the sake of not being annoying or a burden, she believes the truth will always present itself. She will find out, one way or another, and it's best to lay your cards out before it gets too much. She wants people to believe in themselves, their value, and the others around them, and takes on a 'believe in the me that believes in you' approach to things. Friendly, loud, and open, are some words you can describe Noa with. In a world of strangers, being a stranger is not something she wants to be to anyone. Noa is not meek or shy in any sense, and is not bothered by how loud or obnoxious people may assume she is, just by these traits. The fact may be that the people who think she is obnoxious, are the obnoxious ones by her experience. Her personality doesn't so much shift with the amount of people around her, but the situation she is in. While she tries to remain calm and cool as much as possible, there are moments in which this may not be the case. She has no duality however, regarding this, even as a wolf-hair. While she has her 'tank' mode in battle, it isn't necessarily a far cry from her general state. Since the nature of their game world changed, Noa's competitiveness shifted. She doesn't want to be the most powerful, the richest, or the pioneer. She isn't about min-maxing herself for the game, though her class and race clearly show she had that in mind to begin with. The game has turned into her life, as real as anything. Her 'power', the measure of her worth in the game is now squarely with the people she meets and the things they do. When she played the game on the Japanese servers, she was a top rank Monk, one of the best in the game. She doesn't need nor want to do that again, especially given the new circumstances. Their is more to life than stats, even if that seems a little strange now. Strengths

So very, very gay.
Though her name appears as November in game, she prefers to be called by her IR name, Noa, and asks people to do so.
All of her piercings are 'real'. They weren't added in the character creator. She just got bored a few times and shoved something sharp into various places.

Biography
Noa, half Japanese and half British, was raised primarily in Britain. On occasion she and her parents would travel to Japan for various events, her mother eager to never keep Noa in the dark about her culture and her heritage. Her mother taught her Japanese alongside her English, and is at least semi-fluent in it. She was never quite as up to snuff as her mother might have liked, but she appreciates her mother teaching it at all.
She lead a fairly normal life, aside from jumping back and forth across the globe. always being set on the heavier side however. Though she would never say she'd really been bullied in her life, she was teased a lot growing up for her weight. When she was born, she was a big baby, too. She's always been on the bigger side, and will probably always be that way. Instead of dwelling on this, she and her parents decided, in an attempt to see if she could loose weight, signed her up for various out of school activities at about 6 years old. These included things like Kickboxing, Cross Country Running, Swimming. Noa never lost much, but she became very fit. It was a good outlet for her energy as a child, and it continued into her teens and her young adulthood.
In the classroom, Noa was never a shining star. She was fairly good at most of the subjects but was never an overachiever, or an under performer. She quite enjoyed PE, of course, and a handful of other subjects at secondary school. As she ended her run of mandatory education, she found herself getting steadily more and more popular. In secondary school, she'd passed under the radar a lot, not really bullied or noticed, but people knew she existed. At her size it was hard to miss her, especially when she definitely looked slightly...not British. After the myriad of questions about 'where she came from' (England) and why she was in the country (she was born here), what Japan was like, she was left alone aside from the odd person. She had her group of friends but was in no way attached to them when she had to leave.
When she was about 13, Noa was invited to a party. At this point Noa had a good group of friends, mostly girls. She wouldn't describe this time in her life as confusing at, more like a period of self-discovery. They ended up playing a game of Spin the Bottle, a game Noa hadn't ever played, and though she was slightly nervous at the idea, she did go along with it. Near the end of the night, Noa was dared to kiss another of the girls. It was then she realized she didn't want to kiss a boy ever again.
Noa was quite unlike a lot of people. She made people happy just because it was in her nature to do so, it was no chore, no sweat off of her back. She told you the truth if you needed it, she kept your secrets if it wouldn't hurt anyone to do so. By default, she had everyone's best interests at heart, and she cared about everyone she met unless they gave her a reason to not. The girl had a way with words and understands people. Especially their need to identify and feel 'normal'.
It was also during her secondary school life that she picked up online gaming. She'd heard about Elder Tale while in Japan when she was about 12. Her cousins were big on the game, and got her to play a bit of it while she was staying. It had her hooked from the start. When she got back home she simply had to keep playing. With her basic understanding of Japanese writing, she dug her way through the game, occasionally having to ask her Mum what certain words meant. While her mother wasn't necessarily happy that her daughter had gotten into this MMO, she was pleased at her seemingly increased interested in her mothers native language. Noa balanced the game with her real life quickly, and well, it never taking over too much of her time. Noa made some very good online friends, but of course was never able to get any of her rl friends to join a game in a language they couldn't read.
So when she went on to go to college, of course she applied for Psychology, among other things. Noa certainly wasn't neuro-typical, she had dashes of depression and anxiety that almost came along with her gender identity, sexuality, and general appearance. The effects of these things certainly weren't crippling to her, and they reared their heads few and far between, which she was grateful for. There were other people she could help. She understood them, but could cope with her own illnesses enough to find the idea of helping others with more severe cases as something she could deal with, and find pleasure in.
Throughout her college years, she found herself more and more liked by a lot more people. Everyone seemed to know her name for some reason or another. She didn't mind, long gone the days of being a joke to a few people. It took her a while to get used to people liking her so much. For the most part it just seemed like people liked having her around. Eventually she started hearing about how she brightened up any party, or social gathering. That was odd to her, but she liked it. She wasn't the 'life' of the party, she didn't turn up with crates upon crates of booze, but she was good company, and was a laugh as far as most people were concerned. She made a lot of good friends in college, and did much better than in her previous years of education. She excelled enough to get into University, which was good enough for her.
She moved to London to study Psychology further, wanting to peruse her goal of becoming a therapist. The Mental Health service in the UK was bad enough, people didn't get seen fast enough, they didn't get the help they needed, and weren't taken seriously. If she could change it at all, then that would be enough, if she could help anyone, that would be all she wanted. When she got to Uni, she definitely enjoyed the partying of Freshers week, and it was the longest time she'd gone without playing Elder Tale, caught up in the experience of newly gained independence. She joined clubs and societies, became her year Rep and got a part time job.
Somehow, Noa ended up everywhere. Even at parties and societies that had nothing to do with her own University. A friend in her dorm would take her to a party that their friend, who was going to a different Uni, was going to, and Noa would hit it off with people quickly. Noa was invited to most parties and society meet ups. This was how she met Charity Falkenrath a year later during Freshers. The two ended up at the same LGBT+ society for Charity's University. Noa noticed that the girl seemed very shy, and after adding/following her on multiple sites after exchanging contact information, she decided to reach out to her. At this point she's heard about the UK servers for Elder Tale, and was already getting people to sign up and join her. They still needed a healer of some kind, and asked if she would like to join them. After showing Charity some game play, albeit in Japanese, and her character, who at the time was a boy, she agreed to give it a shot.
That was all a year ago. Had she known that they would all become trapped in the game she might never have asked anyone to join her. She hasn't found Charity yet, having never exchanged friend codes, and her character looked very different now. Often she finds herself wondering about all the people she brought here, and if they hold it against her. All she can really do is move forward under the assumption she might never leave. She helped to build the workshops Saint Pancras, and geared up some of the first exploration teams, one of which she was part of. Noa was good at the game, very good, she'd played it for years previously. However, she decided that this time the combat wasn't her deal. Sure, even if she died she'd come back...she just didn't want to die.
So far, her time has been spent crafting and just trying to live. Maybe she can gain a life for herself out here.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Monk
Rafting Taunt: The user poses aggressively and baits enemies' attention. For a few seconds, all enemies within the surrounding area can only select the monk as a combat target. This is often used as a means of managing consistent aggro control. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Tiger Echo Fist: The user punches the ground, unleashing a powerful shockwave that damages nearby enemies and sends them flying. The effect is obviously variable depending on the targets' size and weight. Due to the noticeable nature of this skill, it is also an excellent technique to draw enemy aggro. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. When performed while Manawyrm Stance is active, this skill attracts 25% more aggro.
Iron Body: Toggle skill. The monk flexes their body, causing their skin to transform into an iron-like color for the duration of the skill. It provides additional offensive and defensive power at the slight cost of agility. As long as it is maintained, the monk's MP is gradually reduced. This skill has a casting time of 1 second. When performed while Manawyrm Stance is active, this skill does not grant an offensive boost nor does it give an agility penalty. When performed while Nighthawk Stance is active, this skill does not grant a defensive boost nor does it give an agility penalty. When performed while Ironrhino Stance is active, this skill consumes no MP.
Roleplay Class: Idol
Showtime!: The Idol raises their arm in the air and causes a spotlight to shine upon the target. This spotlight starts at 2 meters above the target's height and stretches down to cover their body within its radius. When Showtime! is in effect and used in a battle, any characters standing underneath the spotlight will have their aggro temporarily increased. Enemies that do not rely on vision to detect targets are unaffected by this skill. If it is used on a crafter in a crafting thread (cannot be a speed craft), the light serves as inspirational support and can be applied as a Production Bonus, increasing the final level of the craft by 1. This bonus can only be applied once per thread per character. Items cannot have their levels increased past Level 90 by this effect. If it is used in any other context, this skill can serve as a temporary light source. The spotlight is stationary and does not move, so it is fairly simple for an enemy to escape from attention. Showtime! has a casting time of 5 seconds, a maximum range of 5 meters, a duration of 30 seconds, and a cooldown time of 60 seconds.
Crafting Class: Mechanic
Disassembly: Toggle skill. Mechanics have a certain affinity with taking apart machines, so monsters that are mechanical in nature had better watch out. Mechanics deal 20% more damage to Machine-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Machine-type monsters upon a successful hit.
