Appearance Image: s1.zerochan.net/Black.Gintoki.600.1834935.jpg Averagelly tall - around his 6'1'' - Raven is owner of a slender but slightly well builded body, as his muscles are defined but he hasn't a muscular build. His skin is abnormally white, close to pale, and both his eyes and hair are of a deep, dark black color. By the way, his hair is smooth, but extremely messy, and covers his right eye most of the time. The eyebags below his eyes are very strong as well, and draws attetion - it seems like he has not slept in ages! As for clothing, he tends to use the black color, mostly, and commonly uses tops that are open in the chest: he says it's refreshing. His posture - as well as his expression - is extremely relaxed and sleepy for most of the time, but when he's playing his guitar, it turns into something more aggressive and energetic. Although good-looking, he doesn't really takes too much care of his appearence, and his clothes are constantly messed up. | Personality ISTJ - Introvert (67%) Sensing (25%) Thinking (1%) Judging (1%) - Raven owns a very peculiar personality, that mainly focuses into the word "lazy". Not very talkative and commonly seen alone, rather than interacting with many people, he's what you could call an introverted person. Don't get it wrong: he isn't antissocial or anything, and he properly talks with people - with a surprising ease - when he feels like to. It's just that...he's too lazy to do it all the time. His laziness is so exaggerated that it could be called sloth, and it isn't rare for the Bard to say things such as: "I feel like...doing nothing at all." And has a hard time with hard-working and deadlines, but when he is in the mood to do something, he pretty much deals with it without a problem. Raven is, surprisingly, very smart and fast to think, being able to take important decisions in battle and strategizing to deal with the most troublesome situations. At least in those moments, he is quite reliable. When he has his guitar in hands, though, everything changes. A lover of Rock and Metal, he gets way more energetic - waaay more - and living, shouting becomes easier and he is constantly seen grinning of happiness. Raven usually plays the instrument aggressivelly and energetically, so that it can bring up his and his party's moral. And another super-important thing: he is surprisingly good at cooking - oriental, especially. Yeah, a pretty random talent. |

Biography
Gerard doesn't actually remembers all of his past, so this Biography is written with the informations that he got with his family, after the accident. Shall we?
Born in London, England, Gerard was the third son of a rich family of merchants, and grew up with the best of everything: clothes, food, school, toys, anything. Introverted since that age, he didn't have many friends and, most of the time, played alone with his games and toys. At school, he was one of the bests of his class and was a fast learner. But his life was boring, as he never had any hardships - everything was brought to the palm of his hand, all he had to do was ask. But soon, the destiny would bring him a very chaotic surprise.
When he was eight, he received an unexpected notice: his parents had been arrested for money laundering, and he was left all alone. Because of that, he was forced to go live with his grandparents, luckily, on the same city. But, once again, everything went wrong. The car in which he was was hit by a truck, and Gerard, knocked unconscious. By the time he woke up, he remembered almost nothing: besides his name and a few other things, he had forgotten everything. Amnesia. In his new school, that was explained to his classmates, and with the time, he begun to get used to it. He made new friends and fell in love with rock, music style that always excited him in the bad times, without failure.
As the years passed, he and his friends started a small rock band, although it was just for fun, and he had the best years of his life. But he also had other hobbies, and that included playing online games - something that always fascinated him, as he was able to communicate with people all over the world. Then, a friend of his recommended a new game, called Elder Tale, and he came to like it like no other. He expended many hours playing, and when he was just close to get bored, that - the Catastrophe - happened. And he knew that, with this, he would have even more fun than ever. "This game is the best!" Were his last words before "incorporating" Raven W. Darkwood, his Bard character. And he would make himself home.
Inventory
Starter Tonfa (2): A starter weapon of wood consisting of a stick with a handle grip. It's easy to use but doesn't hit well and isn't very great with range. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Bard
Ballad of the Gullible Snail: A song that causes the very atmosphere itself to appear lethargic for the enemy. It generates a moderate amount of aggro on the Bard, so one must be careful on the timing of this skill. On use, a distorted spiral effect will appear around a target, affecting up to 10 enemies within 10 meters of the Bard. Affected enemies have their movement speed reduced by 50% and animation times increased by 1 second. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds, a debuff duration of 30 seconds, and a cooldown of 45 seconds.
Sonic Cutter: The Bard amplifies sound waves to deliver a concentrated burst of destructive interference at a target. A cutting-wave projectile is shot forward, reaching up to 10 meters before dissipating. This skill is considered a wind-type attack and deals greater damage when used in close range. Additionally, if Resonance Beat was used immediately prior to this skill, its range increases by an additional 5 meters. Due to its low cooldown and moderate DPS capacity, it is a popular skill used by the rare solo Bard. This skill has a casting time of 1 second and a cooldown of 6 seconds.
Speed Sword Etude: A lively song that makes one want to rush into battle, causing the surface of the skin to lightly sparkle during its duration. This tune causes all nearby party members' attack speeds to rise. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds, a duration of 60 seconds and a cooldown time of 30 seconds. If it is used on a target that is currently affected by this buff, its duration resets to the full 60 second duration.
Roleplay Class: Idol
Showtime!: The Idol raises their arm in the air and causes a spotlight to shine upon the target. This spotlight starts at 2 meters above the target's height and stretches down to cover their body within its radius. When Showtime! is in effect and used in a battle, any characters standing underneath the spotlight will have their aggro temporarily increased. Enemies that do not rely on vision to detect targets are unaffected by this skill. If it is used on a crafter in a crafting thread (cannot be a speed craft), the light serves as inspirational support and can be applied as a Production Bonus, increasing the final level of the craft by 1. This bonus can only be applied once per thread per character. Items cannot have their levels increased past Level 90 by this effect. If it is used in any other context, this skill can serve as a temporary light source. The spotlight is stationary and does not move, so it is fairly simple for an enemy to escape from attention. Showtime! has a casting time of 5 seconds, a maximum range of 5 meters, a duration of 30 seconds, and a cooldown time of 60 seconds.
Crafting Class: Chef
Iron Stomach: Not even food poisoning can stop a dedicated chef! This skill can be toggled, allowing chefs to become immune to status debuffs caused by drinks and food. They also passively recover from sickness status effects twice as quickly.
