Being low level, he still only bares a single tail, which is also iconically red in color. He has an almost yellow tint to his eyes, with a very soft smile he seems to always have prepared no matter who he meets. His build, or more so his chosen character model, is lithe but tall. Standing at a good Six feet, though he is thin enough almost anyone could probably pick him up and throw him over their shoulder. In terms of garb, he is currently stuck in the starting leather attire. Bits and pieces of bound together leather with studs over the same standard clothing all began with. Ideally, his current wardrobe is less than satisfactory, but not many are able to look fabulous upon first starting a game, now can they? [attr="class","infotitle"]Personality [attr="class","infobox"] Seayd comes off as being fairly forward and social, despite the fact he possesses a deal of awkward mannerisms; Laughing at his own jokes a deal, constantly finding something witty to interject to the conversation, petting/hugging people out of no where, and then some. While he comes off as a wonderful person, its obvious to most he is just a socially awkward one, and it's not long until most people cast away his seriousness and take him more as comedic relief. Outside of the game, he was more of a social recluse, so being social is a new and interesting experience for him, and is where his lack of social prowess stems from. He tends to shrug off rudeness and dislikable personalities, and holds himself as a friend to all. He prefers to quest and adventure with others, rather than being solo. When by himself, he tends to make a deal of noise to try to call attention to himself, usually whistling or humming loudly if not just overtly doing things merely for the sake of attention, such as attempting to scale surfaces to just be higher than others, or to pick a fresh apple from a tree. Common sense, of course, is questionable in Saeyd. He tends to charge forward rather than analyze the situation, and often puts himself (And often his party) in akward situations. There are times his poor decision making has paid off though, but those times are far and few and no one DARES credit him, for sake of him repeating the mistakes in the near future. [attr="class","infotitle"]History [attr="class","infobox"] Before the game, William jeanne was actually a shut in. Suffering from a case of PTSD, and living off of both Government money as well as some commissioned work online, he rarely left his residence at all save for food and clothes. He got into the game itself through his sister, whom he wanted to spend time with but after the events that bound him to his new life, he was unable to do so. They came close through the game itself, and ironically so he was now trapped in a new existence because of his attempts to bond with his sister. Since he has been trapped, Saeyd has managed to just avoid confrontation or even levelling, not wanting to deal with the social experience he was thrown headfirst into, and even still adjusting to being outside of his apartment. Its a frightful experience for him, but as time wears on hes slowly pulled back the fear to at least manage interaction among both players and the people of the land. In the real world, he loved reading and art, and was actually a budding artist among many communities. Games for him were less about the game, and more inspiration and experience. It was his means to socialize with people, and feel like a normal person rather than just some freak trapped in his apartment. Since he has become one with the game, he has lost his urge to be creative in fear of a direct human interaction, and has instead taken upon himself a tendency of... Well, being a socially awkward but friendly Fox Tail. He has found that making people laugh and entertaining them pays off rather well, and is slowly peeling free from his shell. A bard will inspire his or her allies and increase critical hit rate by 5%. Multiple instances of this skill do not stack. -Battle Conduct : Attack skill. The Bard strikes the target directly with the musical instrument, making the sound of a high-pitched whistle on contact. This attack deals damage no different from a regular attack, but it will cause an ! to appear above the target's head. While this icon is active, an affected monster will not acquire aggro from any other targets other than its current target, no matter what effects or attacks are initiated against it. The icon appearance is short and therefore requires synchronized timing from the party to take the opportunity and beat down the opponent. On forums, this skill is popularly known as "Wolf Pack", "Beatdown Order" or "It's Hunting Time" among other nicknames. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds, a duration of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. At Level 30 and 60, the duration increases to 10 and 15 seconds respectively. -Maestro Echo: A skill that targets a single ally and attenuates the flow of mana generating from their body. For 30 seconds, every time the ally performs an offensive magic skill, the Bard will also cast the same skill. This copied spell is only about half as strong as the original, but retains the same effects of the original. Each time this skill is activated, there is a guitar-like SE and a shining effect. This skill has a cooldown of 50 seconds. -Sonic Cutter: The Bard amplifies sound waves to deliver a concentrated burst of destructive interference at a target. A cutting-wave projectile is shot forward, reaching up to 10 meters before dissipating. This skill is considered a wind-type attack and deals greater damage when used in close range. Additionally, if Resonance Beat was used immediately prior to this skill, its range increases by an additional 5 meters. Due to its low cooldown and moderate DPS capacity, it is a popular skill used by the rare solo Bard. This skill has a casting time of 1 second and a cooldown of 6 seconds. -Skill: Description [attr="class","column"] -Scout: The Animal Trainer attempts to recruit a monster to their cause in order to create a temporary partner. This is often done by approaching the monster without startling or aggravating it. If performed successfully, a tamed monster will fight by the Trainer's side for a few minutes before control is lost and the monster returns to the environment. Certain situations might make this duration last longer or shorter; acts of kindness toward the tamed monster will make it stick around for longer, while excessive demand will make the Trainer quickly lose favor with the monster. Only one monster can be tamed at a time at the early levels. -Skill: Description [attr="class","column"] -Timber: Toggle skill. Woodcrafters naturally have an affinity for chopping and carving wood, making their abilities key in harming monsters that happen to be arboreal in nature.
