Just something about today felt a little weirder than normal. Could have been the fact that there wasn't anybody else in the Palace when the day started out, either being outside of the place already, sleeping in, or just not being there for other reasons. It could also have been the fact that his stomach was grumbling on his way out that day, to rendezvous at a specified point in the Savil Flower Garden, since he opted out of having breakfast, causing him to stop on the way there to grab something light to eat as he moved. Or, maybe it could be that he was just running slightly late for this meet-up location where he needed to go to and join up with a few other people in order to participate in a certain quest. Any of these things could have given him any type of indication that today wasn't already starting off quite that well, but he chose to ignore those. What actually got him a bit worried was the fact that the sky was slowly starting to cloud over, and that it might begin raining at any point while he was out during this time. He wasn't sure, which made him slightly conflicted about it all.
As much as Hiro wished that the clouds would go away and that the sun would stay out for more than probably another 40 minutes, he knew that he needed to be in the meeting place before much longer. It wouldn't do to be late for the first time you might meet some new people. Thinking this, he realized just how quickly he was reaching the end of the road out of the city, and how he would have to start going by foot. As he had been riding on his skateboard in order to get further, faster, he also knew that the dirt paths weren't good for the wheels. Especially because the wheels would dig into the ground, and make it much, much harder to kick off the ground and get moving. He slowed himself down to a safe point, jumped off the skateboard, and kicked it up underneath his arm. Placing it inside his inventory as he moved along, Hiro began to run towards the objective point. It wasn't that far from the gates of the city, the Flower Garden. His mind basically shut off for a little bit, as his legs carried him towards the location. This tended to happen, as he didn't really like having too much time to himself, to let his mind wander more than it should.
Roughly 10 minutes out of the gate was the location. His conscious mind took back over as he was getting closer, and needed to check the waypoint he had set for himself earlier in the day. Only a few moments afterwards did he notice a tree, supposedly at the center of the waypoint, with a bench sitting just beneath it. It felt maybe a bit too suspicious, or even just too dang weird, but the sight of place to sit down and relax was a welcomed one, either way. Hiro sauntered over to the bench, and plopped down onto it. He crossed one leg over the other, extended his right arm along the back of the bench, and started to look up towards the sky. He wasn't sure why he was looking up, but he just kind of was. When things were at peace, and he was waiting for things to start, he usually drifted his attention upward to the sky and clouds. Something about them just struck him as peaceful and calm. Letting out an audible sigh, he chuckled to himself. It was a little pathetic to be thinking about peaceful and calm things at almost all times, but that didn't stop him from doing it. Instead, he gazed out across the field, with flowers scattered all throughout, and very quickly furrowed his brow. "This entire place is the essence of calmness." He mumbled to himself, as his mind caught up to what exactly was around him. Giving in, he just looked back up to the sky, once again, a slight smile upon his face.

Shizu was still in complete shock and confusion. Like many people, she awoke in a completely foreign scenario, a world that was completely foreign to her own. She took a moment to examine herself, discovering long black hair cascading down her back, a fit and tall body standing on her own two legs. This was greatly opposed to her old body, the slim, blonde, and deformed excuse for a human that barely managed to stay alive. She didn't feel her chest contort and shred with every breath she took, but instead felt like she was free. She was alive, for the first time in years. She slowly began to take steps, waiting for the moment when her bones would shake, taking her to the floor below her. But this moment never seemed to come, she was managing to walk all on her own. It was if glass had just been coated in kevlar. The things she debated suicide with would now give her merely a scratch.
Once Shizu had slowly been able to acclimate to walking on her own, she began to think and observe. She used a nearby source of clear, pristine water to examine the form she was in. It was extremely familiar to her, as if she knew what it was. It then began to dawn on her, this was the form of her fantasy. The avatar she would think about being for ages now. The person whom she always wished that she could be, instead of living as a corpse. This was the avatar she used in most games, with slight variations depending on the game. But now she was this girl. The girl looked just like the avatar that she made for one of her newest games, Elder Tale. She began to be very scared at this revelation and looked at the world around her, examining it as best she could. She could have sworn that she recognized it from somewhere, but was unsure at first.
She began to take a walk, trying not to mess up with each step she took. Despite her being an invalid in real life, she could feel the moments perfectly in this new body. It did not take very long for her to fully understand how to walk again when she was her self. The world around her seemed to be in just as much confusion as her, with complete anarchy surrounding her. As she began to inspect it, it seemed that they all were in the same situation as her. The more she inspected the city around her, she wondered. It looked very similar to the game world of Elder Tale, and that was supported by the fact that she looked like her Elder Tale avatar, the assassin Shizu. But that was just impossible right? She had read several stories in which the characters encountered something very similar, but that was purely fiction.
Shizu couldn't help but feel like it was all so real, despite the inprobablity of it all. Making the cruel dream she was experiencing even worse. She knew this could not be real. As much as she wanted this, it was impossible. Life dealt her a cruel hand, and she went with it. She was given her crappy life, and had to accept it. She always wished this could be real, but life was not fair in the slightest. She walked around what she assumed to be London for days, waiting for her dream to end, wearing the same dead eyes that you would find on a prisoner in death row. Shizu sometimes killed a monster or two, learning to fight, but she knew there was no point. She would wake up, and await death once again. After a while she decided that she may as well enjoy being able to walk while it lasted.
She left the main city of London, looking around for some place she could go or one thing that she could do. She heard about how you could go to a place called Sarum by taking a path through a forest. She decided that was really no better use for her time, so she started walking there. At her usual, slow, stiff and monotonous pace. She really didn't care where she went or how she got there, she just stayed away from people and waited for this teasing from the world to end. It was one thing to steal candy from a defenseless baby, but it was an entirely another matter to dangle the candy right in its face. She felt like she was trapped in a balloon. The hopes, dreams, and adventures she would have in this world would suddenly pop, returning all of those pleasantries into the wind, where they would blown far away from her.
As she walked along what seemed to be an endless path to Sarum, with her hood up the entire time, she found something that she found interesting. She looked to see a surprising amount of flowers, all circulating in one location. As she went closer, she discovered that this was some kind of point of interest. Complete with a large tree in the center and a bench where travelers could sit after walking there. The sky seemed to be coated with fluffy clouds, signifying rain would most likely be arriving should this have been the real world. She had come to terms that she was dreaming about being in a video game. It wasn't all that surprising given her lifestyle. She enjoyed any form of escapism, no matter how pathetic or meaningless.
After she managed to reach this flower coated area, she lowered her hood and looked around. She didn't see many other people, whether they be the pointless npcs or the various players that she must have conjured up for her dream. One thing really caught her eye though, the flowers. In the real world, she never seen so many flowers, or flowers like this. Of course the bedding of her room had flowers on it, and she saw some out her window, but these were flowers she could actually touch. Before she knew it, she was on the ground like a school girl, picking one of the flowers she found the prettiest to examine. She felt the flower in her hand, and its existence seemed to real to just be part of a dream. The more she looked at the flowers the more she felt like she was actually fulfilling her dream of being alive.
As her mind began to race as she gave in to the fantasy of it all, she heard a very quiet voice behind she. She could not discern what the voice said, or who said it, but it managed to freak her out. She had barely interacted with anyone since her dream started. It would be certainly odd to actually try and talk to a fictional person. She tried to not react, but she was a bit nervous as she sat there. She didn't want to turn around to talk to the person, and she didn't want to look like an idiot sitting in flowers. She was in a lose-lose scenario where she would just get caught like a mouse in a trap. She desperately wished she hadn't chased the sweet cheese of the flowers. She decided to simply stay still as she sat there, and hope that the person sitting on the bench didn't notice her or decide to not talk to her. She desperately wished that it would be the latter.
Words: 1258 Notes: Sorry if I rush her acclimation a bit. I just started and wanted to chronicle what happened before she got here in some form or another.

The red haired fox-tail had found a strange amount of enjoyment in this world, it had triggered an odd side of her. The girl in real life had been very reserved, never allowing people to see how she truly wanted to act, or how she truly felt. Very few people understood that she was loud, mischievous, outgoing, and just wanted to be more comfortable. This game was a chance to escape, and despite being physically dragged into the game, that seemed to still be the case. The girl had a nearly constant smile on her face, with her two red fox-tails trailing slowly behind her, dragging along the flowers. She had one eye closed, and it was oddly disorienting for her, but she had managed to get more skilled at observing the two realities at once. One from far above, where her Harpy, Siren, diligently watched the world for her, and the other the new world in front of her. She would catch sight of the two in the distance. "Perfect...Some fun to be had, eh?" she thinks to herself, approaching them as she lowers herself, wearing flowing red and white Shinto Priestess robes crafted for her by her friend. It was odd, how much she loved this world and the person she'd become, and the potential she still felt she had to reach up to. She first though, had to appease the playful nature of the fox that she was playing so excellently, maybe because she had always secretly wanted to be that way, and she saw an opening with the girl that her Harpy had sighted. She didn't know Shizu's name yet, but that didn't mean she shouldn't take the chance to toy around with the girl a little but, maybe she'd even make a friend out of her.
She slowly creeped up behind Shizu, managing to stay silent as she dismissed her summon, she wouldn't need Siren yet, and besides, summoning Rose would be much more intimidating if she needed to scare someone, although she doubted she would need to. She would work her way right next to Shizu, giving a sly, fox-like smirk, her tails slowly rising, one resting against Shizu's shoulder as she whispers "Trying to hide from him? He looks like a tank, probably couldn't pose any thread to a cute little part like yourself if you ran." the summoner teases, giving Shizu no warning that she was even there, looking very pleased at herself for whatever Shizu's reaction would be.

This place was super nice in his mind. Hiro loved it here. Despite the fact that he had fallen asleep, he could still feel the world around him. Not thinking too much about what was going on around his physical body while he slept, he had a dream of making an airship of sorts, and soaring through the skies, as was his wont. The thought of being able to move through the sky at whatever pace he could was more than enough to make any dream a good dream to him. His gaze always shifted skyward when his mind was trying to think of something, but he couldn't help feeling that there was a reason for this. Even now, in his dream, atop this airship, he felt that he was looking upward. Maybe to go even further beyond the limits of the sky? No, likely not. The thought of space was rather scary to him, so just being up in the clouds was more than enough of a reason for the monk to look up to the sky. It was at about this moment that his mind snapped back to reality, as he had heard some kind of movement from nearby. Perhaps something much like a voice could be heard, as well? This wasn't part of his dream, at all, he thought.
Hiro slowly woke up, rubbing his eyes to remove anything from them. He looked around himself, to notice only the flowers, and the bench he sat on. It was then that he had realized that he had forgotten what exactly he was doing out here today, and instead noticed a girl attempting to hide among the flowers. It was a strange enough site to see, especially since she was trying very hard to hide among them, so of course it would garner some sort of attention. Then again, maybe she was playing hide and seek with someone else nearby, and she had run a pretty long way to find out that their hiding spot was taken by some person whom she had never seen before, namely him. Such a wild thought likely couldn't be true, but he still stood up. Hiro was about to walk over and ask the girl what she was doing, but then thought if it was his place at all to ask someone else what they were doing. Such a rude thing to do didn't really strike him as something he wanted to do, but either way, he was genuinely curious about what the girl was up to. As such, he decided to try and get rid of any of his other thoughts about why it would be a bad idea, and convinced himself to move over to the girl and ask.
That is, until he had seen that someone else had shown up already to speak with her. Perhaps this was the person she was hiding from? They were relatively close together, and the newcomer happened to have put one of their tails on the girl's shoulder, in order to gain their attention. After that was something being whispered, which he very obviously couldn't hear. He found the whole thing to be mildly odd, but he didn't think much of it. He began to walk towards them, his curiosity further piqued. Making his way closer to the two of them, he shifted his weight over to one side, and leaned. "Uhh... What's up, you two?" He asked, not entirely sure how he should even ask what they were doing. The first girl seemed to be hiding, and the second girl looked like she was trying to have a bit of fun by talking to this other girl. Hiro was likely going to be just an outsider from the looks of it, if the two of them already knew each other. Then again, the first girl's reaction would either make or break this thought. Either way, he was in the deep of it by this point now, and decided that he'd stick to it until one of them, or both of them, answered his question. If he was asked the same thing as a result, then he'd just say that he was out here to get a midday nap, or something stupid like that. He still couldn't exactly remember why he was out in this specific place, but he might figure it out later. Maybe. Probably. Hopefully.

Shizu was completely terrified and unsure of how she was supposed to react to this. She was sitting in the flowers, minding her own business when suddenly someone came up and tried to talk to her. To make matters worse, it wasn't just like normal talking. No, this girl came up behind her and tried to whisper into her ear. She had heard this was a very bad thing, and she could see why. She felt horrible and awkward as this girl said something about a tank in her ear. To make matters, worse the girl put what seemed like a tail of some sort on her shoulder, making Shizu feel even more uncomfortable.
"Uh... hi... sorry... I dont... know... waht you mean..." she said awkwardly trying to articulate words in the presence of this new and fairly weird figure. She desperately tried to hide the blush on her face as she said it, wanting to make sure that she wasn't being too much of a pushover, despite the fact that she was acting like a total pushover. She looked over to see a boy near them as well. She wondered why all of these people are here and what she did to piss off the universe for them all to surround her. She chose to not say anything when he began to talk to them. She really just didn't want to embarass herself any further than she already did. She wondered why exactly she even came to this place, thinking about how much better it would be if she just stayed in London.

Keyala knew she often had too much fun at the expense of others, particularly in this world, when she barely even looked like herself. She enjoyed it because she had found her character to be attractive (Obviously that was her intention in making the character, but she is far too proud to admit that, even to herself). The summoner wagged her tails, shifting slightly away from the girl, her tail carefully dragging along Shizu's shoulders, as a smile crosses Keyala's face, she would the stand, giving a small wave to Hirosame as she looks to him "Well you see, I'm just having so much fun! I mean, Siren caught this girl here staring at you for quite some time! Or well, I did, using her eyes, since she is a harpy and I am a summoner...Regardless! I figured it would be in the interest of all parties involved if I intervened and made sure that she wasn't going to cause any trouble! I mean, I couldn't tell from oh so far away! And what if she had meant to harm you? I couldn't know~" she chimes, looking over to Shizu with an evil looking grin. If Hirosame was paying close attention to Keyala and her expressions it would be easy to tell that she is lying, as her tells are so very obvious when one is looking for them "It is obvious now that this girl means you no harm, nor can she cause harm, she was just merely hiding, perhaps she found you attractive? I mean, you are clearly an attractive man." she says, moving closer, her tails moving behind her in a distracting manner. Why did she enjoy this so much? In the real world, this would have been terrifying for the girl in real life. Despite a near infinite well of confidence, as soon as any flirting happened, she would shut down. This world had given her a strength she did not expect, and she felt it was her duty to use it, to make people have some fun, and maybe even use it for good.

[attr="class","capsol"] Hiro was greeted with the eyes from the first girl, and some blush on her face. Curious that the girl would be rather embarrassed, unless the succubus of a female next to the first girl had something to do with it. He only thought the word succubus, since there wasn't really much else to cause the girl to blush, outside of an allergic reaction, or the red-haired one whispering sweet nothings into the ears of the younger girl. He chuckled a bit at the thought, but soon enough, the red-haired one brought her attention to the monk, mentioning having seen the first girl through the eyes of a harpy of some sort. A summoner, as she spoke just a few moments later, had access to all sorts of things that Hiro didn't know about, nor did he really have much of an interest in. He was just a guy who punched people for a living, so to speak. Then again, his living pertained mostly to mechanic work, but one could call being a monk his full-on occupation, which he loved to come in for work every day. Mechanic work was more of a hobby, probably. A really intensive hobby.
So now the summoner was going on about how they needed to intervene for... some reason or another. If the first one meant to harm Hiro, Hiro would have absolutely no problem sending them right back to the Sanctuary with a nice red bow on their head. She gave a look over at the first girl, turned away from Hiro so he couldn't see the facial expression on her. She turned back, though, and started to speak again, this time mentioning that he was a rather attractive guy. He stood up a bit straighter for a moment, a light flush appearing across his face, as he averted his eyes to the side a bit. He hadn't been called attractive much before in his life, let alone in the game. Either this girl was high on something, or she actually felt that he was a decent-enough looking guy. She had moved a bit closer after having said that, causing Hiro to think that maybe she was trying to just mess with people. His subconscious self was screaming at him to not believe this girl, because he knew that he wasn't even the least bit attractive, and wasn't going to give into this girl's attempt to get into his head. He relaxed his body, shrugged, and began to talk.
"Well, I can't say I agree with your judgment of my appearance." Hiro brought his shoulders back down, and looked at the girl approaching him. "Though I will thank you for the flattering words." He tried to quell the situation as peacefully as possible, though there wasn't any other real way to skirt around it. However, as luck would have it, he looked up a bit and noticed a few monsters over in the field nearby them, the ones that he needed to kill specifically for this quest. Just some Dull Green Slimes off in the distance. Perhaps that would be a good enough distraction for the current discussion to end? He also figured that he might as well ask the others if they were here for the same quest. So, he did. "So, you two here for the quest here at this location?" Afterwards, he pointed towards a few of the slimes. "If you are, that's our target over there: 12 of those suckers." Placing his hand into his pocket, he added one last note. "If you're not here for that, then... There's some pretty decent loot dropping from them right now, that sells for a lot. It's a weather condition: Since it's about to rain, a rare drop becomes more frequent. Might be worth trying." Either way, he was sure to entice the two slightly with that remark, so maybe this quest could be completed just a bit faster as a result, if they weren't here for that. He kept on a soft smile the entire time, waiting for their reply.
