[attr="class","ws"] [attr="class","h"]SELAVAIN [attr="class","fc"] [attr="class","bi"]REAL NAME: Gwen Vadas [attr="class","bi2"]REAL GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]GENDER: Female [attr="class","bi2"]AGE: 10 [attr="class","bi2"]SEXUALITY: Unknown [attr="class","bi2"]FACE-CLAIM: maria ushiromiya, UMINEKO NO NAKU KORO NI [attr="class","bi2"]PLAYED BY: Hex [attr="class","h2"]Appearance [attr="class","b"]Selavain is a cute girl, having deliberately choosen a child like form. She stands at something like 4'3 in height, being quite sort for her age. She has light reddish brown hair, like her big sister, and is cut in a similar style. That means they are slightly bowl cut, but yet not enough to appear unnatural. Although her bangs and the rest of her hair are not as straight as her sister's, it's obvious to tell that they are related to each other. If only the choice in between their fashion of hair shows that Selavain is trying to imitate her big sister. She not stocky, but she's not lean either, she's a healthy kid like balance in between the two, giving her mostly a normal seeming look for a video game character. What's surprising is that her eyes is the same shades as her sister, and other of her family's siblings; a surprising, startling blue. The gaze itself is rather fresh and innocent, as she always has an open expression on her face. Her feelings are easily told by her round, innocent face. There are asian traces in her features, something that remained off of her family, and is also found in her sister too. However, Selavain has a bit of a more pink colour to her face, due to not having hit puberty quite yet. She seems to be mostly a child like figure, and as such often wears trinkets and such in her hair that have no in-game value. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]A pure innocent child. That's what Selavain is. A child that has no idea how the world works; naive, trusting, loving, faithful and most of all gullible, Selavain is more or less on the younger side of the players. In fact, she barely turned the age needed to play on the server; her birthday was the day of the release, and as such she was just capable of scrapping by to play. That means she is about one of the youngest out there. Her way of speech and acting is exactly like she is in real life; clingy, trusting of people, and always excited to show them what she knows. In a way, Selavain is still not used to her name not being Gwen, so sometimes she gets pretty air-headed when someone calls to her. In general, Selavain is not stupid, by any means, but is definitely not intelligent by the conventional sense of things. She is very creative, impulsive, and acts like the child she is. She gets huffy and mad, and whines and complains when she doesn't get what she wants, but is almost instantly cheered up. Not necessarily stubborn per say, Selavain tends to hold onto things she disliked immensely, such as people telling her that her sister is mean or some stuff like that. She's very protective of those she loves, and often just needs to go find and hug those she likes. She's very clingy in a way, which makes sense considering what happened to her big sister. She's afraid that people she loves will get hurt and she can't help them. She always tends to feel guilty when someone does things for her, and tries to do things herself; and sometimes she gets mad when someone does it anyways. She's a sweet child, but also seems to understand that people aren't always nice, and has a hard time accepting that fact. Many could call her a withdrawn child, as she doesn't seem to get along with those near her age. She always seems to prefer talking to older people, or hiding away from those of her age. She understands that people needs someone else to blame, someone else to hurt in order to feel better; where as her sister plays the bad guy, Selavain tends to play the victim. She will let others bully her, and hit her, and do all sorts of things to her, crying, and hurting; but then she reminds herself of happy things, and gets better. She would rather be only happy when she's inside of her head rather then being a burden. This makes it quite interesting for her when she interacts, leading to sometimes really weird things, as she still talks to imaginary friends and make-believe tales. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Gwen Vadas was the second born to her parents, behind her sister Kiera. She had always been babied by her parents and her big sister, and most of Gwen's life was happy. That is, when she wasn't in and out of the hospital. Her parents never exactly shared what it was that Gwen had, but whatever it was, it was quite serious. She knew exactly how most hospital procedures were by the age of five. In fact, her short life was filled with a lot of suffering for one so young. It made it difficult on the young girl to make friends, much less do well in school. Lucky for her, her cousins and her sister were really friendly, and they all lived near each other, so it was easy to play with them. As one of the youngest, Gwen always had gotten her fair share of teasing; but once she was cleared enough for school, the other kids felt like she was an invader.. and bullied her. So Gwen never really got any friends at school. Her sister would try defending her as much as possible, but that became harder the more she had to study. So Gwen decided that she didn't want to be a burden, seeing her parent's tired face, and her sister's made dash towards a dream. Gwen began to play with herself, making up stories and playing with imaginary friends that she made out of stuffed animals and other objects she had. She was very creative, and did her best during the art classes at her school. Of course, Gwen was there for her sister when she got into the car crash; in fact, it was Gwen's idea that everyone play the game Elder Tale in the first place, or rather play it all together despite what happened. Gwen figured that could cheer up her sister, and clung to her, and always stayed around her. She wanted to make Kiera smile again; but sometimes it felt like that smile would never come back, no matter how hard she tried. This made Gwen a bit depressed, and hard to be cheerful, but she tried her best; even using knowledge she got from fairy tail books to make charms, and pretend to be magical to try and ease her sister's worries. So when they were helping her build her character, it was maybe the happiest of moments for Gwen in a while. Not only that, but they celebrated her birthday. And as her birthday gift? They all logged onto Elder Tale at the same time.. only to wake up in the world itself. Thinking that this is an amazing gift, Gwen wants to run around with her sister and cousins, to see more, and more of this fun, new world! [attr="class","h3"]Extra [attr="class","b"]A revision: -vain and -avain mean spirit not Arcane. So Selavain's name means ''High Spirit''. Her sister, Malavain, means ''Death Spirit''. The name was chosen by her sister rather then herself, and the character avatar was made with her input; however, this was meant to be played as a family, so someone else set up her character. She wanted to be an Enchanter because it sounded fun; unaware that she had picked some of the most important and difficult classes, Selavain lives inside of the game much like her real life self, Gwen. She has a hard time telling that this isn't real, sometimes calling it a fun game still. |

Its damage potential is low, but its near-instant cast time and 3-second cooldown rate is low enough that an Enchanter can actually shoot Pulse Bullets in rapid succession and rack up damage. Admittedly, spamming Pulse Bullets prevents the Enchanter from providing support, and doing so for long enough will eventually start to wear down the Enchanter's MP. [attr="class","skill"]Seal of Aquarius: Subclass - Sigilmaker The Sigilmaker is able to create emblems which passively raises a target's stats for a short duration. When using this skill, the Sigilmaker must declare one of the following stats: Strength, Dexterity, Agility, Intelligence, Wisdom. The target will receive an Aquarius Sigil buff and the stat selected will be increased by 5% for the duration of the target's next post. Only one Aquarius Sigil can affect a single target at a time. For every 10 levels the Sigilmaker achieves, the duration of an Aquarius Sigil increases by 1 post. [attr="class","skill"]Transmutation: Crafting - Alchemist - Toggle Alchemists are able to use Magitech in battle without any penalties based on their main class. Also a toggle skill. Through their abilities in creating efficient Magitech, all costs for using Magitech are halved for the Alchemist. Their research also give them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life and deal an additional 10% damage. [attr="class","h3"]Equipment [attr="class","b2"] [attr="class","skill"]Armor: Starter Cloth Armor - A basic set of cloth armor made from cheap fabric. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. [attr="class","skill"]Left Hand: - [attr="class","skill"]Right Hand: Starter Wand - A one-handed starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. Conducts magic better than a regular weapon but lacks any physical damage presence. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can.
