Character Info
REAL NAME: Seamus Connery
REAL GENDER: Male
GAME GENDER: Male
AGE: 16
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
FACE-CLAIM: Gilbert Nightray, PANDORA HEARTS
PLAYED BY: Razost
RACE: Half-Alv
FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance In the real world Seamus stood a little under six feet and had dark brown hair. Short, slightly raised in the front. Slim somewhat pale body, usually seen wearing a pair of glasses during school hours. Regular attire consisted of dark colored shirts along with navy blue jeans. Bright colors were a rare thing to see on him. Along with his hazel eyes Seamus didn't stick out too much. He had a few minuscule little dent like scars on his forehead. Got them from scratching the rash caused by chicken pox as a child. This went unnoticed by most who spoke or looked at him, but there'd be the occasional person that could notice them. When creating his character Seamus made it somewhat similar to himself. Slightly taller, standing at six feet and a slim somewhat tanned body. Long scraggly jet black hair along with a pair of green eyes. It was a video game, so deviating from his real looks a bit was alright. When character selection came about he chose Half Alv as a race. Wasn't the common human that most people would choose, and it wasn't strange to look at. For the symbol that was unique to the Half Alv race Seamus chose a triangle, with a circle wrapped around each corner. Connecting each circle was then a smaller one, in the gap which was between them. | Personality Like many others Seamus was frightened, in shock when the players on the Britain server were suddenly in the game. But he was also filled with awe as he looked around for the first time. Everything looked, smelt and felt real. But fear consumed him in the beginning, it kept him in the starting city, Londinium. Leaving that area was something he never dreamed of doing. What if he got killed, what would happen to him? What dangers waited for him? As others leveled up he stayed behind, making no progress in the world. It was only after quite a large amount of time passed that the dark haired individual started to move out of his comfort zone. Ever so slowly he became more confident, social. Until he was finally somewhat normal. Nearly himself again. Seamus tries to be polite and easygoing, as to not aggravate anyone. Far behind and without any acquaintances he tends to try and avoid cocky high leveled players. Makes him feel uncomfortable. The lower the level the more at ease he is. Enticed by the idea of magic and mystery he enjoys seeing products of alchemy. Seamus is quick to make friends with the users of such subjects, assuming they're not too advanced. This was his first time playing the game, and it was all new to him. Not to mention a learning experience when it came to alchemy, since it was also his subclass. Usually an impatient individual the teen will try and rush things, assuming he's with someone he feels comfortable around. Could call a friend. Planning and waiting wasn't his thing, wasn't something he wanted to do. Nor really be part of one, either. If they had too many specifics he would rather drop it. Too much to remember. Just run in there with an average party and hope for the best. Don't go in over your head. |

Biography
Seamus grew up as an only child with his two parents. Nothing special about them. Both regular people in a healthy stable relationship. Except for the fact that his mother was on bad terms with her family, so he didn't meet them or see them. Only exceptions were a few times when he was younger. Besides that his mother stayed cut off. They didn't bother sending any letters for Christmas and Birthdays. It was as if they didn't want anything to do with his family. The few very rare occasions that there was a call from one of them they never ended well. Always ended in fighting. All Seamus could do was sigh and hope for the woman to calm down, and that he wouldn't need anything from her. Because she would be in a mood for a decent amount of time.
During high school the teen had a handful of friends. They'd socialize during school hours and generally mess around. Not taking things very seriously was to be expected. School was place where they could mess around as they learned, which they did often. A few were taking some technology courses along with him as their electives. They also happened to be in an after school club together, a robotics one. Usually the group would meet up once a week, before eventually three times a week later into the school year. It'd only be that way for a bit over a month, before they would return back to their normal schedule. The group never got far into the competitions, but it was a blast when they went.
After school when there was no work to be done the group of friends would usually hop into a call together. They'd play a few games together, usually mainly playing one for a few months before dropping it. Wasn't an uncommon occurrence. Happened all the time. Elder Tales was one of the games that was picked up, and eventually dropped. You could only do so much. But eventually Seamus came back to it, due to the news about new interesting content. It was worth a shot. Not like he had to pay for it, since he could make one character on there for free. He could try it, and if he liked it he would buy it. Simple. What could go wrong?

EQUIPMENT
Left Arm N / A | Armor Starter Leather Armor: A basic set of soft leather armor made from cheap leather. They are not really protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. | Right Arm Beginner’s Flute: A cheap little instrument for aspiring musicians and novice bards, made out of cheap materials. They don’t really play too well, but at least you can play something. |

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Bard
Discord: Tier I Skill
A skill that utilizes the pent-up vibrations accumulated in the musical instrument and harnesses it in order to strike the foe with sound waves produced by constructive interference. It is activated by shaking the musical instrument for a few seconds while focusing one's gaze on a target. An enemy hit by the musical instrument at this moment is left highly disoriented, reducing all of their stats by 10% for 5 seconds. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Battle Conduct: Tier I Skill
Attack skill | The Bard strikes the target directly with the musical instrument, making the sound of a high-pitched whistle on contact. This attack deals damage no different from a regular attack, but it will cause an ! to appear above the target's head. While this icon is active, an affected monster will not acquire aggro from any other targets other than its current target, no matter what effects or attacks are initiated against it. The icon appearance is short and therefore requires synchronized timing from the party to take the opportunity and beat down the opponent. On forums, this skill is popularly known as "Wolf Pack", "Beatdown Order" or "It's Hunting Time" among other nicknames. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds, a duration of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. At Level 30 and 60, the duration increases to 10 and 15 seconds respectively.

Elegant Act: Tier I Skill
Attack skill | An elegant attack that comes from a beautiful dance. As an attack it is average but upon use, it boosts the bard's evasion rate for a certain period of time so it is popular among front-line bards as it increases their survivability. One peculiarity about this skill is that the attack motions and dance are rather elaborate. When using a sword, it is like a sword dance, if a spear it will be used as a baton constantly twirling round and round at high speeds. There are different motions for every kind of weapon. The motions for the giant scythe would be to take the huge weapon and to spin it around like one would a pencil and is quite the sight to behold. The animation time of this skill is 3 seconds and its cooldown is 15 seconds.

Lullaby of the Mermaid in the Moonlight: A support song that has a mild area of effect range. One key concept to remember is that depending on the difference between the Bard and the enemy's level, it will take some time before the target succumbs to the skill. When used, an aqua-blue ripple effect will occur and an image of a singing mermaid will appear over the head of the caster. Popular uses for this skill involve a sleep lock, a sequence in which the target is put to sleep, followed by the Bard's party members aiming their attacks all at the same time, which is then followed by a recasting of this skill to initiate a relapse. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds, a maximum duration of 10 seconds, and a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Sonic Cutter:The Bard amplifies sound waves to deliver a concentrated burst of destructive interference at a target. A cutting-wave projectile is shot forward, reaching up to 10 meters before dissipating. This skill is considered a wind-type attack and deals greater damage when used in close range. Additionally, if Resonance Beat was used immediately prior to this skill, its range increases by an additional 5 meters. Due to its low cooldown and moderate DPS capacity, it is a popular skill used by the rare solo Bard. This skill has a casting time of 1 second and triggers a global cooldown during its casting, where no other skills can be used.
Speed Sword Etude:A lively song that makes one want to rush into battle, causing the surface of the skin to lightly sparkle during its duration. This tune causes all nearby party members' attack speeds to rise. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds, a duration of 60 seconds and a cooldown time of 30 seconds. If it is used on a target that is currently affected by this buff, its duration resets to the full 60 second duration.

Roleplay Class: Animal Trainer
Scout: The Animal Trainer attempts to recruit a monster to their cause in order to create a temporary partner. This is often done by approaching the monster without startling or aggravating it. If performed successfully, a tamed monster will fight by the Trainer's side for a few minutes before control is lost and the monster returns to the environment. Certain situations might make this duration last longer or shorter; acts of kindness toward the tamed monster will make it stick around for longer, while excessive demand will make the Trainer quickly lose favor with the monster. Only one monster can be tamed at a time at the early levels.
Crafting Class: Alchemist
Transmutation: Alchemists are naturally aligned with the power of magical equipment, able to use the Adventurer skill [Equipment Mastery: Magical] as a Beginner-level skill without having it take up a skill slot. Their research also gives them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life to deal an additional 10% damage. If [Equipment Mastery: Magical] is already learned through racial or class bonuses, Magitech damage increases by 10%.
Crafting Class: Alchemist
Mana Crystallization: Proficient Alchemists are able to extract the mana from the surrounding air and their own bodies more easily in order to perform their research. Mana Fragment production rate is increased by 100%, equating to two fragments every post in a research or crafting thread. Additionally, every time the Alchemist is hit by an attack, they restore a very small amount of MP proportional to received damage..
