CHRISTOPHER MAYFORD
Character Info
REAL NAME: Christopher Mayford
REAL GENDER: Male
GAME GENDER: Male
AGE: 13
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
FACE-CLAIM: Ed, Paranatural
PLAYED BY: zosstas
RACE: Foxtail
FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance ( Christopher is not exactly fortunate when it comes to looks. His face is covered in large freckles and upon his spotted nose sits a slightly bent pair of glasses. He’s not fit at all but he wouldn’t be considered fat as he’s tiny for his age and thin as a stick. His eyes seem to have some kind of piercing stare that can see right through you, which largely terrifies everyone. His hair is rarely cut and has no order to it. Often it’ll be sticking up here and there with no rhyme nor reason. He dresses comfortably and has no sense of style whatsoever. His spine may as well not exist because his posture is atrocious. His game avatar looks no different from his real self because he really sees no problem with his appearance. | Personality Christopher (never Chris) is loud, easily annoyed and paranoid. Despite this he’s very intelligent though nobody really knows as he rarely bothers with socialising and when he does he’s often disliked. His mind constantly alert, he remembers everything he experiences and most people are often shocked by his knowledge of their secrets. He begins solving his problems logically however as time goes on he can become flustered and make rash mistakes without thinking. He also becomes flustered when his plans go awry so he finds it hard to be flexible. He works at his best when everything goes according to plan, which has never happened yet. Honesty is something he doesn’t even need to think about. It just comes naturally. This extreme honesty makes him naive and he is frequently cheated and never notices. He is awkward when confronted with new people, new situations and especially large groups of new people in vastly new places. He has no real priorities but himself as most people he’s known over the course of his life have manipulated and mistreated him. Primarily, he’s competitive and will become especially flustered over any kind of sport or competition. He finds anything rude very confronting and will often bear grudges against people for any sort of rudeness. |
Extra
He really likes brownies.

Biography
Descended from lords and dukes from centuries ago, Christopher’s family has been and always will be rich. Their first two children were shining examples for all their peers, excelling in sport and academics. That’s why Christopher was hated ever since he was young. It was really just the small mistakes that turned a slight disapproval into a burning hateful passion: Now, despite their love for his siblings, they barely even acknowledge Christopher. They have essentially abandoned him. At least, that’s what he thinks it is.
Christopher has always been seeking refuge from his ‘horrible life’. He has played countless video games and once even tried playing sport (that did not turn out as well as planned). He flitted from activity to activity, finding nothing that could fill his void. That was, until he learned about Elder Tale. Just reading the statistics of it made him jump with excitement: a map half the size of the world? It seemed like the future was finally upon him. He just had to play this MMO.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Sorcerer
Magi Lightning, Grand Fall: The Sorcerer raises their hand or weapon to the sky and performs a casting animation, causing a portion of the sky to saturate itself with mana. Afterward, a thunderbolt will fall from the sky and strike the foe for lightning damage. This skill cannot be used on a target indoors. If it is cloudy or stormy when this skill is used, its damage is doubled. If used in stormy weather, it also splash damages everything within 1 meter of the target. The sign of a bolt from the blue is a significant phenomenon talked among the People of the Land, so this skill has had a number of names such as "Fury of God". This skill is notable for being a technique with a massive range, except that its casting time and cooldown prevents the skill from being anything other than a combat initiator. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds, a range of 25 meters, and a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Psychic Conductor: The Sorcerer channels mana toward an inanimate object within 10 meters and lifts it into the air. This object can then be used to bludgeon enemies until it either breaks or the user cancels their grip on the object. Psychic Conductor can lift objects with a maximum weight equal to 10 pounds times the user's level. It cannot be used on objects that are in the possession of another character and slowly drains the user's MP over time. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds from the moment it is canceled.
Frost Spear: Impales a single target using an icicle spear for Ice-element damage. Due to the opponent being weighed down by a layer of ice, they receive a slowing debuff as well as a slight defense buff for the next 10 seconds. If a fire-attribute skill is used on the target at this time, the slow debuff and defense buff is negated and the target takes fire damage as though their fire resistance was reduced by 1 stage. Many players learn this skill for its balance of damage, casting time, and utility that is a notch above most Sorcerer skills. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Level 4 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 4.
Level 7 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 7.
Level 10 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 10.
Level 13 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 13.
Level 16 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 16.
Level 19 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 19.
Level 22 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 22.
Level 25 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 25.
Level 28 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 28.
Level 31 Tier II Skill: A skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. The skill may be either a Tier I or II skill. Unlocked at Level 31.
Roleplay Class: Exorcist
Holy Banishment: The Exorcist covers their palm in a glowing light and points at a target, releasing a semi-transparent laser forward. If the target was an aggressive monster, they drop aggro on the party for a few moments and may even retreat. If the target is an Undead or Spirit monster, or if they are weak to abilities of the Light element, then this skill knocks them back and deals light damage. It has a cast time of 1 second and a cooldown time of 10 seconds, and its potency increases with a higher Exorcist level.
Crafting Class: Alchemist
Transmutation: Alchemists are naturally aligned with the power of magical equipment, able to use the Adventurer skill [Equipment Mastery: Magical] as a Beginner-level skill without having it take up a skill slot. Their research also gives them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life to deal an additional 10% damage. If [Equipment Mastery: Magical] is already learned through racial or class bonuses, Magitech damage increases by 10%.
