Character Info
REAL NAME: Isaac Durand
REAL GENDER: Male
GAME GENDER: Male
AGE: 22
SEXUALITY: Bisexual
FACE-CLAIM: Ciel, Elsword
PLAYED BY: GRIMA
RACE: Elf
FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance Isaac is built like an average man, though he is likely slimmer and more well toned than most. Rather tall, he stands at a height of 6'1. His eyes are a light blue; all of these aspects are reflected by his in game avatar, the only difference between him in game and his avatar is his hair. Isaac's hair is a dark black, while as Lucian he took advantage of the unnatural hair colors and went with a dark blue. Lucian has a tattoo of a large blue cross on his back, he is considered tall from what he has observed. He walks carrying himself with an air of importance, and dresses in a fitted suit when he is not working the forge. His hair is worn short and neat, different from his old character who had hair trailing down to his waist. Lucian does have a thin ponytail, though it can be hard to see if you aren't staring directly at his back. Lucian was designed with both nobility and professionalism in mind. | Personality Isaac is very much an introvert, shy and quiet around new people he has yet to understand. When it comes to his friends he turns into a more outgoing person, becoming more active in conversationally and emotionally. In other words, he doesn't actively pursue a socialite lifestyle, but when he has friends around he becomes much more gregarious. He likes to think he is an honest person, somewhat in tune with his feelings, but he knows that sometimes one has to lie to protect someone else. In that way he prioritizes feelings over the more logical choices of action, and he readily acts on them. Ever since he came to Elder things haven't changed much, though since the community is filled with a large number of gamers, Isaac, as Lucian, has been able to able to open up to people that he has hardly known since he feels more comfortable as his avatar and in the realm of Elder Tale. Outside of the game Isaac had trust issues that stemmed from his inability to maintain friendships in the real world, but getting trapped in the game has allowed him to start fresh and try to put faith in people again; he wants to trust people, and he's trying. Stress is no longer a factor in his life as his job, schooling, and family are no longer demanding his constant attention. Seeing as how he found himself in a more relaxing environment he has taken a more lax attitude when working with others, going with flow of whatever comes his way. Lucian's biggest fear is having those that are closest to thinking that he is not good enough. |

Biography
Isaac was brought up in a quiet and academic household, his father a university teacher and his mother an expert violinist. As the only child of the Durand household he was often dotted on, though this attention betrayed him. His parents wanted the best for him, but also the best from him; Isaac had to sit through years of private violin lessons in the hopes of becoming a skilled musician like his mother. The amount of time he spent practicing stole from the time he could spend with the friends he had at school; instead of hanging out at a friend's house he was stuck in his own, busy practicing Paganini's "Duo Merveille". The only benefit his upbringing brought was discipline, which carried over into his academic career.
Music was never really his calling as far as he was concerned, though he didn't dare admit this to his parents. No, what he really loved was theater. Though he never tried out for a play he attended every single one, even though they cut into his regular violin practice; to his parents he lied, telling them he was studying since they never would have approved of his interest in drama. Roleplaying within MMOs quickly became his outlet for his theatrical side. Isaac made few characters, such as impoverished knight who sought to redeem himself from his horrible gambling problem, or a dancer who doubled as a assassin; Elder Tale became another stage for his characters.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Samurai
Bushido: Iaido (Art of the Draw): Passive. Samurai have a honed and disciplined mind. Their visualization and training enable their first strike when their katana is drawn from the sheath to deal additional damage and threat. A Samurai is granted a free Iaido strike before performing a Chain 1 ability or after completing a Chain 3 or higher ability. This skill can only activate once per chain. This strike does not break the chain, allowing the Samurai to perform a skill in the same turn.
Ace Move: Kabuto-wari (Helm Splitter)Skill Name: Chain 1. Starts or resets the current Chain. Kabutowari is a simple technique that involves a quick forward charge followed by a vertical slash aiming to cut down on the target's head. It delivers extra damage if dealt when the target has full HP. This skill has an animation time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 15 seconds.
Ace Move: Shunsen (Flashwave)Skill Name: Chain 2. Usable after Chain 1 skills. Shunsen is a quick and sudden horizontal slash that cuts the air and forms a cutting wave vacuum which deals additional damage. Unlike Izunagiri, this pressure field is stationary and essentially serves as a deterrent to opponents' melee attacks for the duration of the technique. This technique has a fan-shaped area of effect, making it an excellent technique to dispatch enemies standing in close proximity. This skill's attribute is wind, has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds.

Often, this skill can also be used to obtain information that would otherwise require long interrogation. Allure's effect scales with the Courtesan's subclass level, becoming more effective at higher levels.
