Sayha pulled <The Pebble of Philosophy> out of the net and looked at it in her hand. Once she touched it, her body began to emit a light blue aura. In her mind, she saw flashes of visions like memories. The only thing she could discern from the flashes were that they were from when Ultima Thune was inhabited. For some reason, seeing the flashes made her feel stronger. When she went to look at what her buffs were, her status read that she was level 90, not level 2.
A gurgling from the fountain water jolted Sayha’s attention away from her status screen, and she took a few steps back, dropping the net on the ground by the fountain. A huge blur jumped out of the fountain water and onto the ground with its back turned to Sayha.
The blur stopped, and Sayha quietly studied it while retreating backwards quietly. It was a huge humanoid-like crab. Where there would have been arms were four pincers that looked nastily strong. Instead of feet, there were four legs that looked strong enough to allow the crab-thing to jump. The skin of the crab-thing was blue like the fountain water, but when it turned to face Sayha, its eyes glowed violet
Sayha quickly read its status. Its name was Brachyura, Genis of Protection, and it was a level 90 Field Boss.
“Sssurrender the Pebble of Philosssophy...” it hissed before lowering its head and charging right at her, “<Bulldoze!>”. Sayha drew her katanas and jumped out of the way just before the monster hit her. After she dodged, it continued to run until it hit the wall with a crash.
Without giving it a chance to recover, Sayha turned and ran out of the temple.
“Give me your empathionsss!” she heard the monster screech just before she heard another crash. It was chasing her.

Note: I calculated what skills she would have, and she would have all the skills listed under Assassin as well as <Ambidexterity>. Also this is my first time RP'ing combat on this site so I did the best I could because I wasn’t quite sure how it would work for Health and Mana x.x

Sayha took a deep breath and make her way to the ruins of the town and quickly found a hiding perch. “<Silent Step>” she whispered, activating her tracking ability so she was completely silent. She quickly looked back at her status screen; it still showed her as level 90. Hoping for the best, she went into her skills list. Instead of just the three she used to have, she had all the abilities she would have had if she were actually level 90.
‘I may still have a chance,’ she thought to herself as she heard another crash.
“You can’t hide from meee!” the crab-monster screeched.
Sayha found the crab monster from her perch and began to move. She de-activated Silent Step once she was in sight.
“<Quick Draw!>” Sayha called out. Her body moved close enough to the crab-monster to attack, “<Deadly Dance!>” She quickly slashed out a handful of attacks before the monster hit her away.
“<Four Arms!>” the monster slashed at her like an X with two of its arms. Sayha put her swords up just in time to deflect some of the damage, but she was thrown back.
“<Megaton Slam!>” the monster jumped up in the air. Sayha saw the attack coming and ran out of range just in time. However, she was hit by a shockwave which knocked her back yet again.
“Sssurrender the Pebble of Philosssophy...” it hissed at her again.
“Like hell,” Sayha spat, “<Doppelganger>” A copy of her appeared next to where she was landing. The two of them stood, but they both ran in opposite directions. Thankfully, the monster went after the copy. She made her way through the ruins and found a quick hiding spot so she could see her status. “<Shadow Arts Invigoration>”

‘This is going to be tough,’ Sayha thought to herself, ‘I can’t stay still. The only way to win is to kite it.’
Sayha dropped the Doppelganger to keep some of her mana in reserve, and she heard the monster screech in outrage. She moved out of her hiding spot and moved to where the monster was by jumping on top of the ruins.
“<Hazecloud Vault!>” Sayha yelled as she landed near the monster. Smoke appeared around her as well as a bit of what surrounded her.
“<Brilliant Prism!>” the monster yelled. Sayha could see bubbles appear around her, but she didn’t plan on getting hit.
She ran out of the smoke with it slightly trailing her. Once she was behind her monster, she jumped up, “<Assassinate!>” She hit the monster with a strong hit, but she wasn’t done. “<Perfect Autopsy!>” The monster screeched at the damage taken from the attacks.
Just as the monster moved to use its <Four Arms> ability, Sayha tumbled out of the way and ran away while still remaining in the ruins. She heard the monster follow her; exactly the way she wanted it to.

Sayha ran into a very shadowy area of the ruins which gave her an upper hand. She turned to face the monster, “<Void Shuriken!>” A shuriken formed in her hand and she threw it at the monster, hitting it right between the eyes.
The monster lowered its head again, getting ready to charge. Sayha jumped out of the way of the <Bulldoze> easily.
“<Shadow Wires!>” she tried to bind the monster, but it was still able to move; although, it wasn’t as fast as it had been before.
“<Infinite Nocturne!>” after a few seconds, she blurred into the shadows, and the monster screeched. She wasn’t able to do other skill attacks, but that was fine. With her twin blades, she slashed and slashed at the monster while staying in its blind spots, dealing a decent portion of damage even though she was also slightly hurting herself. After a few minutes, she jumped away. She readied her swords, “<Swift Sakura Slash!>” She was no longer one of the shadows, but she moved quickly enough to not be seen, hitting the monster in a vital spot.
The monster screeched again, attempting to hit Sayha, but she was too fast. When she thought she was doing well, she felt the moisture in the air spike.
“<Empathiom Sea!>” the monster yelled. Turning, Sayha saw a huge wave form around the monster. It came crashing down all around it, plowing everything in its wake. However, Sayha was just out of reach from the major attack and only took slight damage. Sayha retreated again to continue her kiting.

Sayha was starting to feel the fatigue from all the kiting, but she kept pushing it through. She checked her status and grimaced at her health, but she was pleased about something else, “3 stacks of <Shadow Counters>. Good.”
She stopped running and found a spot to crouch out of the way so the monster wouldn’t see her. Just as the monster ran past, she jumped out of her spot, “<Shadow Bind!>” It was a weaker bind that the one she used before, but it would be enough.
“<Assassinate!>” she shit the monster hard, “<Perfect Autopsy!>”
The monster, now that the bind was off, jumped up into the air, “<Megaton Slam!>”
Sayha smirked, looking up. Just as the crab was about to slam down, called out, “<Substitution Arts!>” Instead of landing on her, the monster landed on a log, her substitute. Since she was looking up, she was teleported 3 meters in the air, just above the monster. “<Deadly Dance!>” She slashed the crab quickly with her blades before jumping back in time to dodge his <Four Arms>.
“<Shadow Wires!>” she bound the monster again. She readied her blade, “<Swift Sakura Slash!>” She hit the monster without being seen. Before the crab could counterattack, she used her stacks of <Shadow Counters> to reduce the cooldown of her next attack to 0, “<Swift Sakura Slash!>” She hit the monster again, and she was behind it yet again.
It turned, and she could hear it <Bulldoze> so she jumped onto the nearby ruins, turned, and began kiting yet again. It was halfway over.

Instead of trying to keep doing upfront attacks to keep its attention, Sayha started used a <Void Shuriken> along with <Explosive Sigil>. It didn’t a ton of damage, but it kept the boss’s attention from what she was planning on doing. As she was running, she used her self-buff of <Death Stinger> to coat her weapons in poison that would hopefully make the last half of the fight much smoother.
“<Atrophy Break!>” Sayha threw a magic projectile at the monster which slowed the crab down. She then turned and moved toward the monster, “<Quick Draw!>” She hit the monster head-on and inflicting her poison debuff on it. While it was still slowed, Sayha called out yet another ability, “<Hazecloud Vault!>” Since she was close to the monster, the smoke engulfed it as well.
“<Empathiom Sea!>” it called out, waves forming around the monster. Sayha had no way out this time so instead she jumped on the back of the monster, avoiding the attack, and slashed at it with just basic attacks. It didn’t deal much damage, but she was able to avoid the Sea attack. Unfortunately, the monster grabbed her with one of its pincers and threw her forward, causing her to crash against a wall.
“Sssurrender the Pebble of Philosssophy and your empathions,” it hissed.
“<Curtain Call>” Sayha summoned a body double of herself, leaving it behind as she ran back through the ruins, almost going in a complete circle.

After the <Curtain Call> had vanished, the monster continued to look for Sayha. She had anticipated this and was readying her next attacks. She had already activated her <Hiding Entry> ability and was in wait.
After the monster walked by her hiding spot, she whispered, “<Fatal Ambush>” After a few seconds, she found the monster’s weak point. Then, she was vaulted towards the monster and hit it directly there. The monster screeched and tried to grab Sayha, but she was quick to react, jumping back and landing behind the target.
“<Shadow Wires>” she bound the monster again, “<Infinite Nocturne!>” Faster than she thought possible, she slashed and slashed at the monster until the ability timed out. As soon as it did, she called out, “<Deadly Dance!>”
She hit the monster but she was also hit head-on by <Four Arms> which took a lot more health than she had originally thought. When she looked at the monster’s HP, she realized why. It had finally hit critical at 25%.
The monster began to cast, “<Crab Nebula!>” Sayha saw the waters around the island rise and come crashing into the island. She was hid with some major damage, and just as the water washed away, the monster used <Megaton Slam>. However, it missed Sayha by a small margin and she was sent backwards due to the shockwave.
She took a deep breath and looked at her stats. She was low, dangerously low. She had to finish this. Now.
“<Swift Sakura Strike!>” Sayha slashed, and hit the monster head-on. After the attack, she was behind the monster again, “<Quick Draw!>” She hit it again, and she looked at its remaining health, smirking. “<Assassinate!><Perfect Autopsy!>”
Her blades cut through what remained of its health, and it exploded into bubbles that floated through the sky.
Sayha smiled, chuckling to herself. Then, she fell backwards on her back, letting her swords fall to her side. “It’s done…”
