The Windsor Greatwood was along the outskirts of Londinium. Sayha had been there only a few times, but she knew it was a great place for lower-leveled people like herself to practice. Thankfully, though, Sayha had gotten herself up a few levels and wanted to test out some of her new skills and get a feeling on how they would work.
Back when she played all sorts of MMOs, her strategy was to avoid the lower-leveled monsters and go directly for monsters that were her level or slightly higher. However since this wasn’t a game for her, she decided it would be best just to take care of anything that she saw so she wouldn’t have an embarrassing resurrection in Westminster Abbey.
After a bit of wandering, Sayha quickly found a herd of three Young Pittered Boars, one was level 3 while the other were level 4. At that moment, Sayha was level 13. It would be an easy fight.
Sayha drew her two katanas but stayed outside aggro range. Holding her weapons in front of her, she said, “<Death Stinger>.” She looked at her weapon’s buffs and made sure that the poison coated the weapons. After nodding to herself, she readied for an attack. Focusing on the one closest to her, she readied to attack, “<Quick Draw>!”
Sayha dashed forward and hit the Young Pittered Boar for about a third of its health. Her attack surprised all three of the Boars so they didn’t attack right away. It gave her enough time to hit the other two boars with her poison and jump back. Once she jumped back, the boars readied themselves to charge. She waited for them to charge before she attacked again. Once they were in range, she was ready. “<Accel Dance>!”
She slashed the boars with quick procession, and she watched their health dwindle to 0. They disappeared, turning into bubbles floating towards the sky. “Three down, more to go,” she smirked. She looked around. There weren’t any monsters nearby so she decided to head into the forest area.

The forest area was very pretty in Sayha’s opinion. The trees were full of leaves, and there was just enough wind to make the weather feel a bit cooler than normal. Sayha didn’t mind the cool at all, and actually preferred it to the heat since she liked to wear darker colored clothes. As she walked, Sayha found a small clearing where there were two Briar Weasels, both level 10. Sayha would have to be slightly more careful this time.
Staying out of sight, Sayha knelt down behind a tree. She drew her blades and held them in front of her. “<Death Stinger>,” she whispered, refreshing the poison on her blades. Her strategy was to burst one of the Weasels down while keeping the other one DOTed with her poison. It was simple enough.
Before getting up, she whispered one more command, “<Silent Move>.” Her tracker skill, <Silent Move> would allow her to move in the forest without behind heard. Once she was close enough to the Weasels making sure they didn’t hear her, she turned <Silent Move> off. In one quick move, she dashed forward, “<Quick Draw>!” She hit the first Weasel which started both of them. She instantly switched targets to the second weasel and simply hit it, making sure her poison was on it.
She jumped back, just as she had before with the boars. However, the two Weasels came rushing forward right away. She jumped, landing right behind them. “<Shadow Bind>!” She quickly hit one of the Weasels’ shadow, binding it so it wouldn’t move for a few seconds.
“<Sword Rain Flurry>!” Sayha targeted the unbound one and thrusted her blades at it five time. Just as the fifth blade hit, <Shadow Bind> faded from the other. She quickly readied herself for her next attack, “<Accel Dance>!” Her blades twirled in the air as she hit mostly the one she was targeting, but she knew she must be hitting the other one as well. Once her Dance faded, the two Weasels hit her with a magic attack which propelled her back. She used the inertia to turn it into a tumble and ended up in a crouching position. The two Weasels didn’t like her at all. Of course that was to be expected.
She checked the health bars of both herself and the Weasels. She was still doing okay, around 90% thanks to the magic attack. One Weasel, the one she had been aiming for, was almost done. One more move and it would be done. The other was floating somewhere between 70 and 80%, which was to be expected.
Just as the Weasels sent their Vine Whip attacks forward, Sayha quickly got to her feet and readied her next attack, “<Quick Draw>!” She dashed forward, avoiding both vines while hitting one of the Weasels. Its HP hit 0, and it turned into floating bubbles. She then turned to the second Weasel, “<Deadly Dance>!” She hit the Weasel head on but didn’t stop attacking. “<Accel Dance>!”
Her blades flew through the air again hitting the Weasel. It was almost dead. Sayha smirked, “<Sword Rain Flurry>!” Her swords thrusted forward, and the Weasel went tumbling backwards. After a second, the poison finished off the Weasel’s remaining HP, and it also turned into bubbles.
Sayha took a deep breath and let it out slowly. She liked the way that she had built her skills. After all, no matter how much stealth you had, it did no good in an upfront or prolonged battle. However, she knew she should get at least her weapons replaced soon since they were still the starter blades. She shrugged it off for the time being and instead found a tree to climb where she would be able to rest and let her HP come back naturally.

Once Sayha’s health and mana reached 100%, she jumped down out of her tree. After checking the clearing ensuring that there wasn’t anything around, Sayha decided to head back to the clearing. She might do a few more camps then head back to Londinium though she had hoped to get more experience. However, she seemed to have a good handle on her abilities which was the original purpose of the exercise.
As Sayha walked through the forest, she kept her guard up, making sure that she didn’t run into any enemies. Just as she was about to exit the forest, she heard a hissing sound behind her.
As she turned, Sayha saw two Garden Snakes ready their attacks. Sayha quickly drew her katanas, dodging the first attack but only blocking the second. Thankfully, she was not hit by their of the Snakes’ fangs. She jumped back, quickly glancing at their levels. One was level 7 and the other level 9. They were lower than her, but she would still need to be careful since they could inflict poison if she wasn’t careful.
However, she decided that the same strategy she used on the Briar Weasels would work, at least supposedly.
“<Shadow Bind>!” Sayha quickly bound the level 9, luring the lower leveled one to attack. It did with a quick strike, but Sayha was quicker. “<Quick Draw!>” she slashed at the attacking snake while dodging its attack. Before the snake could rebound she readied her next attack, “<Sword Rain Flurry>!”
She dealt a decent amount of damage before the <Shadow Bind> on the other snake faded. When it did, both snakes attacked Sayha in quick procession. Thanks to Sayha’s previous training, she was able to dodge and parry most of the attacks, but she was hit back by their tails. She fell backwards but used the inertia to tumble back onto her feet just in time to dodge another fang attack.
“<Accel Dance>!” she attacked the closest snake, slashing it as fast as possible. When the other attacked to stop her, she jumped out of the way, “<Deadly Dance>!”
Both snakes were now at about half health which made Sayha’s job much easier. However, she had to wait for cooldowns so she was stuck between dodging and parrying the snakes which was getting harder and harder since they seemed to be attacking in tandem with each other rather than separately.
Jumping back, Sayha was ready for the next attacks. “<Quick Draw>!” Sayha dashed for one of the snakes, doing a decent amount of damage to it, “<Sword Rain Flurry>!” She stabbed the snake five times, but she wasn’t done. “<Deadly Dance>!” she slashed both her swords forward. The snake then disappeared, turning into bubbles floating toward the sky.
The other snake seemed to get even angrier now that its companion had been defeated. It lashed out at Sayha, and she tumbled backwards. She felt something scratch her, and she realized that she had been poisoned. Thankfully, the debuff timer was only ten seconds.
“<Shadow Bind>!” Sayha called out binding the last snake. Running right for it, she planned on ending it, “<Accel Dance>!” She slashed and slashed forward, making the snake unable to counterattack. When the cooldown of her final attack hit 0, she instantly used it, “<Sword Rain Flurry>!” Five more quick strikes combined with Accel Dance make the remaining health on the snake disappear. It burst into bubbles, and they floated to the sky.
“I think that’s enough training for this session,” Sayha sighed. After making sure there weren’t any more enemies in the vicinity, she sheathed her swords. “<Call to Home>.”
