Appearance Vai's body shape is pretty normal for someone his age, he has visable muscles on his body but they aren't extremely chiseled showing that he doesn't exercise on purpose. He's a bit on the taller end of the spectrum, being around 6 feet tall or 2 meters. The man's eyes are rounded and more often than not wide open, as if every moment is a new learning experience. His hairstyle is medium length, but closer on the short side and is typically unkempt. Whenever he wants to look impressive for someone, he would wet it down before combing it back. In real life his preferred outfit were jeans and a loose fitting T-shirt (more often than not white or green but he never ever saw what they looked like), but in game he prefers wearing long coats over form fitting clothes. His favorite color choices for outfits are to wear green or blue with a main focus on white colors. In the game he might seem a bit of a stickler, since he often holds himself in a serious demeanor. His eyes in the game are a darkish green being relatively close to emerald green in appearance, which are a huge difference from his eyes in the real world which were brown. His friend chose that change for him, without his knowing. He himself had close to no say in his own creation, other than the fact that he demanded it be in his likeness. There are a few subtle differences because of this, but nothing to strong to make him unrecognizable. | Personality Vai is one of the typical 'sit around and watch what everyone else is doing' types before even speaking. He even goes so far as to attempt to ignore any questions derived towards him until he gets a feel for those around him. Once he gets past the whole social anxiety portion of his character, he begins to talk more and more but still won't say more than three or four sentences within a minute unless absolutely required (like being asked questions). The guy normally gets along well with everyone, but that is simply because he tries his hardest to make as many friends as possible. Whenever he loses a friend, or fails to obtain one he falls into a deep depression for a couple of days, if not weeks. Absolutely hating the thought of failing, Vai will often makes plans upon plans upon plans and try to figure out a way that said plans won't fail, and if the chance of failure is too high, then he scraps the plan and will do his best to find another way around the problem, be it just ignoring the problem and hoping it passes, or making the problem not the problem anymore. In the real world he was romantically removed from society, having too many friends to potentially have a lover (that and being blind was rather difficult for him) so whenever he is asking questions about someone, he tends to avoid direct questions about qualities others might deem positive or negative when it comes to a relationship. An example being what they love to do on their spare time, or what their favorite food is. |
Extra
Vai is right hand dominant
His blood type is B+
Favorite food happens to be strawberries, but he's never seen one.
He is lactose intolerant
And he absolutely despises onions. Not even kidding.
Biography
Matthias Gunne was born like any other normal child, but his early days in the world were anything but ordinary for him. First, he took weeks longer than any normal child to open his eyes, and second he seemed to never respond to movement or anything that wasn’t simple color or light. Months later, he closed his eyes for what seemed would be an eternity. The parents had to work hard to even keep him alive, trying to keep all sorts of hazards away from the young Matthias as he crawled from place to place. Thankfully, as he grew older they never had to move houses, allowing the young Matthias to memorize each wall, each corner, and each spot of furniture in the entire building. It then came to the time that Matthias would be enrolled in early school, which much to the pain of his teachers, was where he learned how to read, as well as write. It wasn’t long before Matthias was attempting to draw, but without eyes he had little chance of succeeding.
Around the time when he would be in highschool, Matthias had already been held back a grade or two, or three really. It was just simply too hard for him to grasp things that required eyes like science, biology, and sometimes even math was a tad hard for him. But eventually he made it to highschool, where he met nearly all of his friends. What was sad however, is that since he made so many friends at his school he ended up with none the moment he graduated. It was far too hard for him to keep in contact with any of his friends at school when he couldn’t even read a computer screen, or talk on the phone, except for one. This friend of his, seemed to absolutely adore him, to the point of going out of her way to attempt to get him to be able to do what those with sight could do. One of these was to play a video game. Using sound cues from a surround sound system allowed him to play some fighting games, although most were far too complex, and using self measurement as well as directions allowed him to briefly play strategy games, despite the fact that he was never good at them. Matthias had loads of fun during the time with his friend, and eventually she talked him into buying, and playing Elder Tale. She of course had her own copy, but neither of them truly got to play together, as both were sucked into Elder Tale on the day of release. Inside the world he still has yet to find her, but in the meantime he can see! The world around him is so bright! So colorful!
He had to see more.

Inventory
Wooden Arrow: A basic wooden arrow. Not really strong, but cheap and can be easily mass produced.
EQUIPMENT
Left Arm N/A | Armor Starter Wardenscale: A basic set of Wardenscale made from cheap iron. They are not really too protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. Warden Armor is required for a Warden to use any skills that involve their armor. | Right Arm Starter Long Bow: A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap wood. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. |

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Warden
Arsenal Tool: Riot Blade: Type- Offensive | Arsenal Tool | Arm
A skill most often utilized in close-quarters combat, the Riot Blade is an Arsenal Tool that extends from the Warden Armor at the knuckle area. The Purity Core manifests its energy in the form of a blue cylindrical energy sword that extends about half a meter forward. The concentrated energy allows the blade to cleanly cut through many physical objects in its path and leave behind burn marks from the point of impact. The blade, however, is extremely thin - roughly the width of a rapier in terms of dimensions. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds to use. At the start of the Warden's post cycles, pay 1 Purity Charge or cancel this skill. Only two Arsenal Tools of the Arm Type can be active at a time.

Artillery: Disabling Shot: Type- Offensive
A skill that can either be fired from a Warden's ranged weapon or directly from the Warden's Purity Core when "Arsenal Tool: Neuroscope Lens" is active. The Warden fires a focused shot toward a target's limb, applying an effect corresponding to the body part targeted. If an enemy was hit by this ability and it targeted their legs (hind legs if the target is a quadruped), it will cause the target's movement speed to be reduced by 25% for the next 5 seconds. If an enemy was hit by this ability and it targeted their arms (front legs if the target is a quadruped), it will cause the target's attack speed to be reduced by 25% for the next 5 seconds. A successful hit from this attack deals ranged physical damage. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. This cooldown increases to 20 seconds if cast from the Purity Core. A Warden may use 1/2 an Entropy Cartridge when activating this skill in order to increase the debuff duration to 10 seconds.

Mode Change: Trebuchet Engine: Type- Special
The Warden Armor folds into a sleek shape, opening up small holes in the armor as though serving as vents. The Purity Core's energy is tapped into, changing its normally life-sustaining properties into an offensive battle mode. While this skill is active, the Corruption-reducing effects of the Purity Core beginner skill are nullified. The Warden's "Artillery" skills have their cooldown times halved and the Warden may choose to fire a laser beam as a basic attack, dealing ranged physical damage, once every 5 seconds. This attack counts as a regular attack and can be toggled using the Auto-Attack beginner skill to automatically fire when available. The defensive value and mobility of the Warden's Armor is reduced to the level of leather armor. This skill has an animation time of 6 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds from the moment it is canceled. Free movement is allowed while a Mode Change is in effect, but the Warden may not use any other skills until the change is complete.

Roleplay Class: Scholar
Evaluate: This skill allows the scholar to gain additional details about the enemy. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used. It has a one second cast time and one second cooldown time. The target's elemental weaknesses and a brief summary of their skills will be made available to the Scholar any time they access the target's interface.
Crafting Class: Mechanic
Disassembly: Toggle skill. Mechanics have a certain affinity with taking apart machines, so monsters that are mechanical in nature had better watch out. Mechanics deal 20% more damage to Machine-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Machine-type monsters upon a successful hit.
