FACE-CLAIM: izayoi, PROBLEM CHILDREN ARE COMING FROM ANOTHER WORLD, AREN'T THEY?
PLAYED BY: 『 』

Appearance Cecil is a half-alv teenager, who has messy light-blonde hair and a pair of purple eyes. His avatar is somewhat tall and has a somewhat skinny build. He has good posture, and is almost always seen with a cocky smirk on his face. In terms of apparel, he has a black blazer drenched over a yellow shirt, although in combat he generally ditches the blazer for some cloth armour. His avatar is generally accurate to how he looks in real life, however in real life he has black hair, a pair of glasses and generally looks more mellow, rarely sporting Cecil's signature grin. | Personality Troy is a calm, sombre introvert, and generally doesn't like the spotlight that much. He has some trouble making friends, but he treats the friends that he does make in high regards. He'd never do anything risky without lots of foresight and planning (not that he actually does that much planning mind you). He was a calm, socially awkward kid. And then he entered the game. Cecil is a brash, cocky extrovert, who practically lives in the spotlight. He still had trouble making friends, and he still does hold his friends in high regards, however he's much more prone to teasing them. He thrives on adrenaline, and will jump into a battle without any planning whatsoever (although, granted, if there is a plan, he'll follow it without any hesitation). It's like his personality did a complete 180. Granted, his "Cecil" persona isn't anything new. Whenever he went and played Elder Tale back when it was just a game, he was just as cocky and arrogant as he is now. Elder Tale was a break from his awkward life, and he used it as a method to break loose. He was his guild's leader back when they played on the Japanese servers, and his experience shows in combat. Sure, he may not be as smart as some of the other members, but he still knows his way around the game. |
Extra
Left handed, favourite summon is Sylph.
Biography
Back before the Catastrophe, Cecil was a massive loner. He'd like to have friends, but he was the complete opposite of the social butterfly, never being able to make friends with anyone. Luckily for him, there was a solution: Elder Tale, a game where he could be outgoing, have some fun, and make some friends. Of course, it never pans out like that. He became a victim to the online disinhibition effect, in layman's terms, once he realised that he had anonymity, he became a huge arse. Thankfully, he still managed to make some friends over Elder Tale who were in the same boat as him; loners, looking for friends over the internet. Some of them even went to his school, which was lucky.
For a while, Cecil and his guild (named "Checkmate" by their strategist) just continued to play on Elder Tale without a care in the world. Elder Tale was a massive part of their lives, so when news hit that there was a new expansion pack on the horizon, and that the British were getting a server to go with it, he was ecstatic. There was but one problem however: Work. He had recently gotten a part-time job at a local takeaway, and they needed him to take a shift, meaning that he couldn't get the expansion at the same time as everyone else. Everyone in the guild seemed to be busy as well though, so that eased his mind a little (well, everyone apart from Joel, since he refused to get a job).
Luckily, God gave him a way. A way to skip work and get the expansion. It was a gift known as a disease. Cecil never liked getting sick, but the timing could not have been more perfect. He got his day off, and ran off to get the expansion.
When he got home, he happily booted up his PC, installed the expansion pack, and then created his character. Happy with the character he had made, he clicked the play button, ready to experience the new expansion in all of its glory and-
Cecil blinked as he looked at his surroundings, recognizing the city in the distance. "Well. This raises a few questions."

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Summoner
Summon Follower - Sylph: Fairy-type Wind elemental follower. Sylph is a small fairy-like creature that looks like a jolly girl. She is able to attack with a magical wind that knocks back enemies. She can summon a healing breeze that heals allies for a minor amount and removes a debuff. She is Friendly to her Summoner and Wary toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon.
Summon Follower - Slime: Artificial-type Water elemental follower. Summons forth a form of artificial life that can change its form. Mainly inhibits the movement of the target. Reacts when enemies begin casting magic. Highly acidic and does damage over time. Slime's personality type is Docile toward its Summoner and Curious toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon.
Elemental Bolt: The Summoner borrows the physical properties of their follower to generate an energy bolt projectile. The projectile copies the attribute of the follower, so a bolt created from Salamander will deal fire-based damage. As this skill derives itself from the energy of the follower, it reduces the follower's damage potential by a small amount for about 10 seconds. In exchange, the bolt itself deals a respectable amount of damage for its tier. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown time of 5 seconds.
Roleplay Class: Animal Trainer
Scout: The Animal Trainer attempts to recruit a monster to their cause in order to create a temporary partner. This is often done by approaching the monster without startling or aggravating it. If performed successfully, a tamed monster will fight by the Trainer's side for a few minutes before control is lost and the monster returns to the environment. Certain situations might make this duration last longer or shorter; acts of kindness toward the tamed monster will make it stick around for longer, while excessive demand will make the Trainer quickly lose favor with the monster. Only one monster can be tamed at a time at the early levels.
Crafting Class: Tailor
Needlework: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly.
