REAL GENDER: Male
GAME GENDER: Male
AGE: 21

FACE-CLAIM: Guin, Guin Saga
PLAYED BY: Vandal
RACE: Were-Cat
FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance Vandal is a bipedal leopard of great stature. He is easily over six feet tall with a body-builder's physique and wide shoulders. His fur color and pattern mimic that of a Leopard, as stated before. Vandal's eye color is an eerie bright-yellow that off-puts others if they are stared at too long. They bear a distinctive, predatory gaze. Like all were-cats, he has feline facial characteristics, but no tail. He seems to like wearing a simple martial-artist's gi whether he is in combat or not. This fighting uniform is dark blue with a red sash but no symbol for the discipline that he uses. The gi has sleeveless arms, but long, slightly baggy pants for maximum maneuverability. He wears the shirt without the buttons secure, allowing others to see his bare chest and abdomen. However, he also wraps his torso in common bandages, slightly obscuring the muscles underneath. Like most others of his race, Vandal wears no shoes and prefers to walk on the natural pads under his paws. He also wears no gloves as of now, preferring to be able to flex his massive, clawed hands and use them as his lethal weapons. He wears no headband or headgear of any kind, but occasionally sports a black cloak that he swathes about himself when he prefers to be a bit more unnoticeable or inconspicuous. Vandal bears no resemblance to his real-life self whatsoever. Vandal moves with a practical and graceful style. He is not arrogant and certainly doesn't swagger, but you can tell each movement possesses the ability to turn into a physical attack. His posture is straight and tall. Vandal's head always seems to be on a swivel, too, cautious and alert. Even if he is lounging in a bar or tavern, his eyes scan the area tirelessly. While standing or sitting, he favors crossing his arms over his chest. | Personality A strong-willed and independent man who is definitely more of a silent type who doesn't get along well with large groups of people. Vandal is rather confident in his ability to handle any situation by himself, but inevitably accepts the fact that sometimes teamwork and coordination are needed to achieve a bigger goal. He is not a leader and has a hard time following the orders or instructions of others, which makes him more of a natural loner. He contributes when he feels he can or when it would benefit the entire group he is currently with. When met with force, however, his stubbornness will show no bounds. It is better to let him run free and do what he does best: clear a destructive path. He is devoted to training and pushing to always improve himself in all aspects of life. Not surprisingly, Vandal makes and retains very few friends. It isn't because he is abrasive or arrogant, but because he usually shows little interest in other's lives and refuses to speak about his own life. He can be a cold and calculating individual, but his manner is very formal (almost strict) and polite when speaking to others. He is not known to be reckless, but often chooses to take action over doing nothing at all. He is focused and single-minded when it comes to decisions: when he says he is going to do something, then he does it with very little being able to sway his mind. He is quite different when handling individuals, however. He will make initial judgments about people depending on his first impression of them, but will not expect them to always act that way. He knows for a fact that people are not one-dimensional, but usually always associates certain people with a certain trait. Vandal, despite his name, is not known to lie but he is not a naive man and expects everyone else to do it in various situations. He is often discerning and detects falsehoods easily enough, but also assumes that people have their reasons for why they lie and usually will not call a person out on them if unnecessary. He is a man of secrets and very talented at keeping secrets. He is wary of strangers, but hardly acts any different around them than people he does know except for maybe never showing his back to them. Despite his outward calmness and aloof behavior, Vandal is really very competitive and proud of his skills. He takes all competition seriously, but hates those who constantly brag about winning. He views winning as a bonus and merely wishes to confirm that he has improved since the last competition. |

Biography
Bernard was born into a rural community within a rather average family: one older sister, a Mother, and a Father. In the countryside he actually preferred spending most of his time outside rather than staying stuck inside on a computer. He attended school and received normal grades (primarily B's with an occasional A or C thrown in), and actually had quite the interest in sports. In middle school he went out for Wrestling and Football. Quite the opposite of what you'd would think an MMO player would be like. His interest in games, or computers in general for that matter, began when he started taking injuries while playing games. When he entered High School, he ocassionally broke bones and even had a concussion once, which caused him to lay up in the hospital or relax at home for a few weeks until he was healed. Being a rather active guy, he wasn't used to watching t.v. or reading books all day. He was miserable while doing nothing. It was a longshot, but his older sister offered him the use of her laptop one day, then showed him an old MMO game that she was playing... it was safe to say, Bernard liked it from the get-go. He eventually healed, but his interest in the games continued. He liked implementing his love of sports in with the fantasy settings of MMO's. He still played football and wrestled, but video games became his guilty pleasure on the social grapevine. It extended into college. He was granted a scholarship for playing football, but he still loved to take a night out of the weekend to play games online. His sister, also an avid gamer still, then told him about the Mother of all MMO's: Elder Tale. She was already playing extensively, but figured her brother did not have the experience that he needed with games to survive when it first came out. She must have dubbed the time appropriate, though, for him to be a player when the Unfounded Kingdom server came online with its newest expansion pack. Excited and motivated, Bernard logged into Elder Tale for the first time at midnight when the expansion came online. Figuring the World was just a smattering of amazing graphics, he had no idea that this wasn't the game everyone else knew and that they would be stuck inside the game indefinitely...

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Monk
Ironrhino Stance: Unlike its active counterparts in the Manawyrm and Nighthawk Stances, the Ironrhino Stance is a position that indicates the Monk's shift into a defensive fighting position. This toggle-activated Monk stance tenses the muscles and cancels any existing Stance. During its casting animation, the Ironrhino Stance causes a semi-transparent projection of a rhino's head to be superimposed on the player's upper body. While in this defensive stance, the user's evasion rate greatly decreases while their defensive ability increases. It's often combined with Iron Body to turn the normally agile class into a slightly capable tank.
Suplex: The user grabs hold of their target and leaps into the air. During the grapple the user spins horizontally then the victim is flung over the shoulder and slammed into the ground. Any fall damage suffered by the Monk and their opponent is doubled. Naturally this means that this skill does more damage the longer the user holds on, but at greater risk. This skill has a maximum animation time of 5 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. When performed in Nighthawk Stance, the user does not suffer any increased fall damage from using this skill.
Tiger Echo Fist: The user punches the ground, unleashing a powerful shockwave that damages nearby enemies and sends them flying. The effect is obviously variable depending on the targets' size and weight. Due to the noticeable nature of this skill, it is also an excellent technique to draw enemy aggro. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. When performed while Manawyrm Stance is active, this skill attracts 25% more aggro.
Level 4 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 4.
Level 7 Tier I Skill: A Tier I skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. Unlocked at Level 7.

Level 31 Tier II Skill: A skill slot that can be occupied with either an Adventurer or Main Class skill. The skill may be either a Tier I or II skill. Unlocked at Level 31.
Roleplay Class: Acrobat
High Jump: Passive. One of the most basic tricks of the Acrobat's specialty is their ability to jump greater heights than any average person. The Acrobat's maximum jumping height is doubled. While this skill might seem otherwise mundane, it can allow one to reach places that would be difficult for many others.
Crafting Class: Tailor
Needlework: Due to the dexterity from which they perform their tasks, tailors are able to make up for any compromises in their ability. Any dexterity debuffs to a tailor can be recovered from twice as quickly.
