Now that she was a part of another guild, Capsule found herself frequenting London more than she used to. It was good for business, as she could meet up with customers in person or deliver their goods to them herself. That did not mean that her pigeons were neglected, of course. Not everyone lived in London. Orders from Sarum and Avon came in at a steady pace, and their close proximity made her job easier.
At the same time, she was rather bored of London. That was one of the main reasons she had chosen to settle in the mountains of Snowdonia. It was an excellent change in scenery, and allowed her bear and reindeer to remain in familiar territory. The city streets could be rough on their paws and hooves, and the people… It was difficult to avoid accidentally stepping on or bowling over someone. Cities were too crowded, too. Being out in the open air, with fewer people to bother you? Now that was living.
She expelled air from her nostrils in a semi-exaggerated sigh. It was started with annoyance, but half-heartedly changed at the last moment. Navigating through the city on her bear was ill advised, and maybe just a tad frowned upon by others. And then there were the asshats who came up and touched her companions without permission. Kasper could tolerate it, but Aleksei would knock their heads clear off their shoulders if given the chance.
Capsule pushed her way through the persistent crowd. Oh, how she missed being tall. People did not overlook you, nor was you field of vision limited to the backs of others. She found that sometimes she had to lightly kick people in the shins or step on their feet to remind them that she was here and needed to get by. The short and shorter ones among her were spared, of course.
The redhead broke away from one crowd to another, located in St. Pancras Station. There was more breathing room here, what with most people being in doors or only clustered around the edges and benches. It would be rude to congest the central walkway. Here, she was free to take easy strides at her own pace. The crafting request boards caught her attention. There was always someone in dire need of something, but either could not find someone or did not know of anyone to ask. As much as she disliked stealing potential customers from Pharmacists who needed it, Capsule also hated to see them go without because others were so slow. You snooze you lose, right?
