Heyo, had a question about this that caused some confusion when discussing this with Wake last night.
My question is simply: What is the cap for Production Quality on equipment?
I've had this clarified by Saki before that it's 10 across all sources of equipment (So you still benefit from having a +2 from a specialty room in your house), but according to this post here it's implied that it isn't capped at 10 and just capped if the end item would end up above level 90. The way I understand it the cap can only be one of two things in the following scenario:
Weapon that gives +5 Production Quality
Armour that gives +5 Production Quality
4x Accessories that give +5 Production Quality (each) (20 total)
Relevant specialty room +2
A) If the room is seperate from the other bonuses, then the maximum bonus one can achieve is +12, making everything in excess redundant.
B) If there is no cap on equipment, the current production quality increase for this set would be +32, assuming the resulting item doesn't exceed level 90.
There is a third option now that I think about it though:
C) If there is no cap on weapons and armour (as you can only have one of each) and a cap specifically on accessories (as you can have multiple), then the maximum bonus with the provided set is 22.
So which is it?
Accessory ReforgeArmour ReforgeWeapon Reforge
- Production Quality: When the item is crafted, the crafter selects a crafting class. When the character crafts an item of that crafting class, its item level is increased by 0.1 x the item level of this accessory. So if you have a Level 10 accessory that boosts your Chef Production Quality, then any food items you craft have their item level passively increased by 1. The character's Bonus Production Quality cannot be increased past 10. Additionally, the maximum bonus is capped if the item level would exceed Level 90.
Production Quality increase (Increases the item level of a crafted item when this item is equipped by an amount equal to 1 item level per 10 reforge levels, max increase: 10 levels. Cannot exceed Level 90 in item level. Selected subclass production effect must be specified upon craft.)
Production Quality increase (Increases the item level of a crafted item when this item is equipped by an amount equal to 1 item level per 10 reforge levels, max increase: 10 levels. Cannot exceed Level 90 in item level. Selected subclass production effect must be specified upon craft.)
