Traversing the streets of Londinium was always a chore at this time of day, but the Shaman was in need of something a little different than the usual guild activities he was tasked with most of the time. Having set his goals on the quest board in town, he decided to try his luck at something to ease some of his underlying boredom; he normally wasn't affected by day-to-day routine like this, but for some reason he had woken up this morning with a hankering for something new. "Excuse me... Coming through... Sorry..." Manoeuvring his way through the dense crowds that were mingling about the various block areas, Dorian released a sigh as he slipped between various groups easily. He had given his dancing a bit of extra work, and so now he was a fair amount lighter on his feet than when he first started working himself as an Adventurer. "See anything worth noticing, Skrowe?" The Shikigami shook his head, having been predisposed with whatever hobbies the spirit got up to when left dormant in the back of the Shaman's mind. Eventually the two of them came upon a crossroads, one that had struck Dorian as unfamiliar, as he looked back and forth, trying to spy through the crowds any signs as to where to go next. You've gotten us lost, the Shikigami insisted, drawing his attention away from his own agenda and back to reality. "Ah, quit your whining, it's not like you could find anything better than I could." Skrowe rolled his eyes and went back to his 'work', ignoring the Shaman henceforth, leaving Dorian on his own to navigate the city. Eventually he decided to wing it, weaving his way through the dense mob of Landers and Adventurers towards the left side of the intersection, following the path down towards the next area. Slowly but surely, he found his way to a bustling courtyard; in the centre was a grand statue of some sort of Lander general, though his stonework had seen better days. No doubt this carving was a remnant of something long forgotten. But, this was not the time to contemplate the meanings behind a large hunk of rock, as Dorian spotted the quest board set up at the other end of the courtyard. "See? We were never lost," he said reassuringly, forgetting he was once again in a bustling, crowded section of the city, with many a nearby Lander giving him sideways glances. Shrugging of the staring, he made his way across with a spring in his step, quickly approaching the board and slipping in between the Adventurers that had already gathered. "Alright, let's find us a little something to pass the time, shall we?" Scanning the board, the Shaman brought his arms in, crossing one over his chest horizontally and resting the other on top of it, his digits clutching at his chin in contemplation as he studied the board. What to do, what to do? Scroll within the box Not feeling well that day, Sayinh found himself struggling to get going. Starting the day without a place to really head to, he just wandered around the city of Londinium. He looked around in various shops, feeling like buying something, not that he had the money to do so. “Easiest way to make money, hmm, the easiest way to make money..”, Sayinh mumbled as he walked around on of the shops. Just when he was about to leave, he got the idea.. - Why not ask Dumah? He probably knew how, and when it’s easiest to make money -. He ran with deep, heavy footsteps towards the cathedral. Dumah had told Sayinh, that he wasn’t doing anything today, so he’d probably be at the Guild Hall of Noihara. With billowing hair, and throbbing legs, he arrived at the cathedral.
“Is Dumah anywhere near here?”, Sayinh said quietly to himself, whilst he looked around the cathedral. Dumah didn’t seem to be here, even though this is his usual spot, so Sayinh left again without any clue of where he could be. He stumbled over a stone in the ground, but quickly regained balance and kept on going.
Going around without a destination again, not knowing what to do for the day. He looked up at the sky. A couple of birds flew by, in their own little world. As he looked down the roads of Londinium, he caught a glance of the black-haired Swashbuckler running around a corner, like if he was in a hurry. Sayinh didn’t really understand why he was in such a hurry, since Dumah told him, that he didn’t have anything to do today. Regardless of his confusion, Sayinh quickly rushed towards Dumah, as fast as his throbbing legs could carry him. “Dumah! Dumah, wait! I got a question!” He yelled towards the corner from where he saw the Swashbuckler. But when he turned the corner, Dumah was gone.
- Damn it! -. Not that he could do anything about it.
That was when he realized the immense amount of people standing in the courtyard, where he was standing. He mingled his way through the crowd, because of his short body. - Sometimes it does help having a small body! –, he thought to himself as he got up close to the board. Quickly scanning the board, he realized it was a board full of quests! - YES, this will help me raise some cash so I can get going! -, he thought as he started looking for quests.
A quick wind came from the back, you could only just feel it be there. A boy practically danced his way through the crowd, and onto my left side. Looking at him, he was definitely a shaman. The interface showed Sayinh the name of the boy beside him, and it appeared to be Dorian, and truly enough he was a shaman.
It seemed like he was also looking at the quests. “Hello there”, Sayinh said, looking at Dorian with open wide eyes, and a big smile across the face.

Dorian slowly dropped his arms to his sides when he spotted something towards the centre of the board, moving up close to inspect it. Reading over it, he inspected the level requirement, the tasks outlined within the quest filling up most of the page; from what he could read, there was a cave somewhere off into the outskirts beyond the Londinium city walls, that had managed to spook a fair few of the passers by, perhaps due to a gentle breeze of mana or some other monstrous air that seemed to exude from it's darkened depths. "This should do nicely..." It had been some time since the Shaman had gone outside on a specific quest, having only taken from the board twice so far in his Adventuring career; the first time had been interesting one of his earlier Mentored quests where he and a friend of his, a fox-tail Sorcerer, went about a nice clearing to fend off some of the local wildlife that had stumbled into the light of day. The second one had been weirder, leading him to a chateau inside the city where he was tasked with a more spy-like mission. He didn't want to think more on that. Reaching forward, he quickly swiped the page off of it's hook on the wooden board, pulling it back towards his chest to investigate further. I think we got someone's attention, the Shikigami voiced from the back of Dorian's mind, alerting him to the nearby presence that had managed to spot him through the crowd. Standing beside him was a short lad, about 10 inches shorter than the Shaman, the boy only coming up to about his shoulder. He had a large grin plastered across his face, his eyes wide and expectant; it reminded Dorian of himself back when he was here as a lower level, scrounging for experience to put him with the bigger Adventurers. Smiling back, the Shaman looked between the paper in his hand and the boy at his side, folding the quest up into a square and stashing it under the leather of his chest piece, where he stored most odds and ends in a flash. "Well, hello there to you too," he muttered in reply, bowing his head forward out of respect. "Hmm, if I'm not mistaken, you seem to be here for a quest, no?" Dorian made a quick glance about the area; the boy seemed to be alone, and had no group with him, a sorry sight to see in this day and age. "Perhaps you'd like some help? I'm likely a bit higher in level, and you might learn a thing or two. In fact, I could teach you some tricks of my trade if you'd like; your interface reader says you're an Apprentice, which means you'll certainly pick something up." The Shaman looked at his own interface, eyeing the low level of his Dancer subclass; teaching the boy his combat moves might help them both out here, which wasn't too bad. Quickly correcting himself of his manners, the Shaman extended his hand down towards the boy, continuing to smile to reassure the Guardian he was a safe person to talk to. "I'm Dorian, my apologies for not introducing myself sooner; who might you be?" He waited for the boy's reaction, seeing if he'd take him up on his offer. Notes: N/A Words: 559 Tags: sayinh

Hi! I’m Sayinh Scroll within the box Sayinh’s eyes almost sparkled with happiness as the Shaman besides him asked if he wanted to join him. So Sayinh, whom sat in a squatted position quickly rose, like a spring. When he were almost in a full standing position, he hit his head on something hard. The pain made him cringe all the way through his body. After the cringe, came the pain again, pain and chills. When he realized what had happened, he got insanely embarrassed, so he slowly rose again, dusted off his armor, straightened his back, and said to Dorian with a happy voice. “Yes, I’d love to join you. I’ve been looking around for people at my level, that wanted to go questing, but I haven’t really had any luck finding anyone. ” he said, as he looked at Dorian with his great blue eyes, and showing teeth that was just as white as his hair. His head still hurt, and he had gotten a bulge at the top of his head. The places this left hand on the bulge, and rubbed it, as any other normal person would do with a bulge.
“As for your question of who I am. My name is Sayinh, and I’m an Apprentice Guardian Blacksmith. Though it may not look like it, I am seventeen years old. I’m quite new here, but I have made a lot of progress on both my fighting and my “social status”. I am looking for new people to either befriend, or rival, but for now, I seek friends. ” He said, with the continuing smile of an innocent child.
With new thoughts of partnership, Sayinh completely forgot that he actually came there to look for quests. He asked Dorian. “So, uhm… What did you have in mind when you said I could join you? Like questing, grinding and such, or were you thinking more of meeting up at different times?”, this of course meant that he had to get some training done. So he looked at Dorian, with the puppy eyes he had been gifted by the creation from his former life.
Sayinh had already accepted being in this new world, it all felt natural to him, as if he had been there his whole life. The feelings throughout the “game” were even lovelier than in the “real world”, and it had had him stunned many times. The smells and views being gorgeously presented in every area around him, only made him seek even more beautiful pieces of land. He had decided to treat this life as if it was his only. He tread carefully and were always fully aware of himself and his surroundings, no matter the scene or situation.
A little while went, but then Sayinh cut any possible conversation that might were just about to start. “Training! Let’s do some training! Like… fighting monsters… hmm… or maybe sparring. Do you have any good ideas?”
Waiting for the Shamans response, Sayinh closed his left eye as the sun hit his face straight on. TAG: @serenityspace WORDS: 502 NOTES: ~~~

With a sudden burst of excitement, the boy seemingly leapt up into a more comfortable standing position, only to graze and bump the top of his head against the underside of the sturdy wooden quest board, causing it to shake a bit; as the papers fluttered from the sudden impact, Dorian quickly darted out to help the youngster, lightly rubbing at his scalp with the tips of his fingers to try and dim the swell and pain, as well as attempt to lessen the sturdy bruised lump that had formed underneath his hair. "Easy there, tiger, no need to hurt yourself." He pulled away from the boy, giving him a soft, reassuring smile before answering his response. "I don't imagine you'd have any luck at that; most Adventurers these days have spent a fair amount of time already. You'd be hard-pressed to find lower levelled people, but luckily you stumbled into me. I'd say your luck is coming around now," he mused, chuckling under his breath as he nodded slowly. The boy introduced himself as Sayinh, which brought a happy grin to the Shaman's face. "A pleasure to meet you, Sayinh. Friendship is always welcome here in Londinium, and I'd be more than glad to count you among my circle of acquaintances." It surprised Dorian how innocent the young lad seemed to appear, his age clearly not fitting in with his visage, though such was the dangers of the character creator; after all, the Shaman must look quite mature now that he had changed his appearance to his original, real life look, even though he was only a year older than the Adventurer which stood in front of him. He was quickly brought out of his reverie when the young Guardian began asking towards what kind of activities they would be partaking in together, only to have his words cut off before he could answer as the boy interjected with the proposal of training. It wasn't an uncommon tactic, for a lower-levelled Adventurer to utilise a more advanced player's knowledge through training and teaching; such was the nature of Mentor parties. "Sure, we can do some training. Like I said, your Apprentice subclass will help me with passing on a few tricks of my fighting techniques; my subclass - Dancer - allows me to create flamboyant and lightweight forms of combat that may be able to help you when you get into a tight spot." He looked down at the lad, noticing his strain to keep the sun out of his eyes; stepping an inch to the left, he blocked the light out, using his shadow to keep the rays of sunshine out of the youngster's field of vision. "I have a quest here," he continued, lifting his hand up to pat his palm upon the leather armour adorning his chest, where he had stashed the paper from the board for safekeeping; with all the rogues out in the city these days, there was no telling when a pickpocket might strike. "Once we've done a bit of training in some lighter, dance-like manoeuvres, we can test them out on the mission I acquired and get you some field experience. Sound good?" He clasped his hands tightly behind his back, waiting for Sayinh's response. Notes: N/A Words: 541 Tags: sayinh

Arriving at the clearing Scroll within the box Sayinh stood, looking at Dorian with disbelief in his eyes. His head hung in front of his body, and his mouth was open as he gaped at him. “Huh? Dancing?”, he said as they started walking out towards the fields.
He accepted it, as they made their way into the woods, Sayinh looked for big lightened spot he had seen on one of his earlier trips around the area of Londinium. On that trip, he found the spot, where bunnies, deer’s and various types of birds. A large stump covered in moss was the place he laid down looking up into the opening between trees, looking up into the blue sky covered in small puffy sheep formed clouds. Vines hanging down from the thicker branches made it possible to make a freely hanging hammock approximately twenty feet above the ground. “I have a great place I think you should see. It’s a clearing here in the woods, so it’s also possible to “dance” there. It will probably be a good idea, since the earth is mossy and soft, making it difficult to walk in it and at the same time giving us a real feel environment, just as if we were in a tight spot in a real battle”, Sayinh said as he smilingly duck under a branch hanging you from one of the trees.
As they walked down the more or less unnoticeable path in the woods, Sayinh spotted a bird he knew very well from back home. A tiny sparrow was flying around their heads in curiosity of who the mysterious creatures walking into its home were. It’s nice curvy flight had had Sayinh gape many times, as it’s beauty filled the sky. This showed him that even the smallest creatures can have great impacts and great beauty. Sayinh threw his head backwards, as his arms crossed behind it, then said out in the thin air with a calm, and low voice, as if he was talking about something incredibly serious. “So did you find the apocalypse entertaining? I think it’s a great thing for us who wanted to start from scratch… I’m not going to bore you with my story, that has to wait for another time”, he said.
As their destination got closer, the forest got brighter. The clearing had a big effect on the lighting in the forest. Soo enough the two adventurers would have made it to their next destination. - I may not seems like it at the moment, but I am exploding in excitement! -, he thought as they arrived at the clearing. The Shaman merely chuckled at the young boy's disbelief, nodding his head to emphasise that he wasn't making it up. "Mhm! You'd be surprised just how effective and useful dancing can be in a tight situation, but let's not dally any longer, we are 'burning daylight' as they say." Once the agreement had been made, the pair of them headed towards the city's main exit; thankfully the quest board had been positioned not too far away, so as to allow ease of travel when completing missions. Moving out into the open air of the outskirts, the Shaman was greeted by the beauty and fresh smell of the outdoors; not that roaming the city didn't have it's perks, but out here there was so much more to see, the vibrant and whisp-like aura of the very air itself practically flowing around them, though he doubted the young Guardian could sense it as he did. Shamans were naturally attuned to the spiritual plane, and that meant sometimes Dorian could see a lot more in visions than others could pick out. Sayinh seemed eager to begin, despite his earlier surprise at the notion of dancing, having already picked out a clearing that would suit their needs. The Shaman couldn't help but smile at his obvious excitement, and he had no doubt the boy would make an excellent pupil, Apprentice subclass notwithstanding. "Sounds good! Lead the way," he replied succinctly, slipping gracefully under the various branches with light movements and turns of his body. The wildlife in this area had always been a sight to see, with various different colours of birds and the more docile monsters that were usually content to live and let live. Sometimes it was good to relax and enjoy the way life went on without outside interference, such as the trudging feet of an incoming Adventurer, hounding down their prey. Dorian was surprised by the sudden outburst of words from Sayinh, listening to his question politely before giving his reply. "It was strange at first, arriving here, but I have since made my peace with where I am; after all, it's a world worth living in." He nodded his head at his own words, giving one last glance over the foliage around him before they broke through into the light of the clearing that the young Guardian had previously picked out and lead them to. It was an interesting place, with various odds and ends such as vines and plant growth that made it look quite cosy and warm, emphasised by the sunlight that poured in through the gap in the canopy above. "Well, you certainly didn't disappoint, Sayinh; this place will do nicely for your lessons." With that, he gestured towards the centre of the clearing, where there was more room available. "We'll start basic first, stick with movements that don't require a weapon; it will be more difficult for you, in your Platemail, but you should be able to pick things up pretty quickly once we get going." Beginning the training Scroll within the box Listening with a careful ear to what the Shaman had to say, they would start out with the more basic, easy movement. Since weapons wasn’t needed, Sayinh sheathed it and placed it up against a mossy stone. “Should I remove my armor, or do we practice with armor on?, Sayinh asked, halfway through dropping his chest piece. The Shaman replied that he would get a more out of the training if he just kept it on, as he prepared to start.
They started out slow, as the sun rose high to the sky. Sayinh studied the Shamans gorgeous, light movements as Dorian slowly showed the Guardian how to do the steps correctly. Sayinh had an intense look on his face, concentrating, measuring how that would look in Platemail. - Positioning my feet; remember to step forwards, just in case of a wall behind me. Knees is bend, approximately to a 130 degrees angle. Back is tilted slightly backwards, avoiding incoming damage. Head is bend either tilted further backwards, if attack is going for the throat/head. Otherwise, your eyes stays on the foe, keeping track of his movements. Arms is used as stabilizers to keep balance, just don’t get them immobilized, in any way. -, was thought as Sayinh analyzed the Shaman. “My turn!”, he said as he lined up beside Dorian.
He slowly began to move into position. However the pants suddenly got stuck between two parts. When Sayinh felt that, he instinctively stiffened up, causing him to lose grip of the ground. He threw his arms around the air, panicking. A second later, a silent *bump* was heard, as the guardian fell on the mossy ground. Embarrassed of his giant screw-up, he broke out in laughter, as he slowly rose to try again. “Well, that didn’t turn out as planned.”, he said, rubbed his hand on the back of his head in embarrassment, as a slight smile on his face. - What did I do wrong? Where did I screw up? -, he thought as he went over the actions, step by step, to see what he did wrong. -The step! I messed up the step. Remember, move forward!.
Sayinh placed himself up towards a tree, to make sure he didn’t walk backwards this time. He took a small step forward this time, and slightly bent his knees. For a split second the armor felt like it merged again, but this time, Sayinh just rose a bit, and tilted his back even further backwards. Moving through the sequence, systematically, he then kept looking at Dorian, as if he was the opponent.
“I did it!”, he roared in relief, looking at Dorian, as his sparkly eyes glimpsed in happiness. He tucked his arms towards his body as he though; - Yes! -. TAG: @serenityspace WORDS: 461 NOTES: ~~~

The Shaman merely nodded as the small Guardian returned his armour onto his person after seemingly beginning to take it off; dancing was a difficult art, especially when applied to the nature of combat, but it was even harder when weighted down in heavy set pieces of metal. It's why Dorian opted for leather and cloth for his armours, even though chain was a viable option for him. In any case, Sayinh was eager to start, so Dorian had to lightly lay his hand on the boy's shoulder. "Calm. That is the way of the dancer; to see the movements, you must not rush into them headlong. For now, you will watch, and I will demonstrate. We'll see how well you pick up the steps." From there, Dorian moved away from Sayinh, and gave one last glance up through the opening in the canopy above before moving into a soft, tranquil position, his arms laying themselves out in front of his body. With livid, water-like motions, he began dancing in a tight circle within the centre of the clearing, moving 'round and 'round, making occasional swift cutting motions with his right arm to mimic the dance of swordplay. When he had shown off enough of the basic steps, repeating them each several times to make sure that Sayinh had picked up on them, he slowed to a halt, turning to the young Guardian with a smile. "Now it is your turn." Crossing his arms over his chest, he stepped back, watching as the boy took the stage. Bet you he falls in under 10 seconds, Skrowe whispered within the confines of Dorian's mind, despite the fact that only the Shaman could hear the Shikigami's voice. Rolling his eyes and waving his hand dismissively, he concentrated instead on Sayinh; but alas, the spirit's fortune telling was right for once, and the Guardian's armour locked up before he could make even the slightest movement. Rushing over, Dorian arrived by the boy's side just as he fell to the floor. "Like I said, calm and serene. I know it is difficult in your plate mail, but practice makes perfect, and trust me when I say you'll be the better off for it in your future endeavours against monsters and creatures." After repeating his earlier brief lecture, Dorian reached down to help the Guardian back up onto his feet. "Take your time; there is no need to rush things here," the Shaman reassured, clasping his hands together behind his back as he stepped away once more, giving the boy enough room to move. This time around, he seemed to be getting through the lack of comfort in trying to move in heavy armour, and was slowly beginning to pick up the moves. It took a bit of time, but eventually he managed to succeed, facing Dorian triumphantly. Chuckling under his breath, the Shaman nodded his head, bringing his hands out from behind his back and applauding the young Guardian. "Well done, Sayinh! You're well on your way. But, a rookie practices until they succeed; a professional practices until they never fail." He curled his palette into a playful smirk, gesturing for the boy to go again. "We'll see if we can get you doing some more complicated movements." Notes: N/A Words: 544 Tags: sayinh
