FIRO
Character Info
REAL NAME: Grey Pryre
REAL GENDER: Male
GAME GENDER: Male
AGE: 25
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
FACE-CLAIM: Qrow, RWBY
PLAYED BY: LOSTVECTOR
RACE: Wolfhair
FACTION: Adventurer
Appearance Out of Game: Grey is a constantly tired looking guy. He doesn’t slouch when he walks and stands up straight, but walks with a slight limp in his left leg. His style of clothing is more fixated on what fits comfortably rather than looking nice, which gives others the impression that he doesn’t much care about his looks. The stubble and messy black hair doesn’t help with that impression much either. Within those tired narrowed eyes, he has what almost looks like red irises. In Game: Firo’s appearance is based a bit on his real looks, but the main differences are that he doesn’t appear as tired as he normally does, along with the ears and tail that come with being a Wolfhair. The fur color of the ears and tail are slightly lighter than his black hair, showing a slight difference. His character has tribal like markings near his right eye, where his narrowed eyes show red eyes. While his class is a Samurai, he does try to dress the part with a red yukata top and black hakama pants. | Personality Grey is a bit of a quiet person at first until he warms up to someone. Between work and school, he doesn’t have much of a social life, which would explain why he can be a bit socially awkward. He tends to pay attention to the area around him, so that he’s not caught off guard by something if he can help it. When he can’t be ahead of the problem, then he will take that mistake as a learning experience. He hates personal conflict, but he refuses to back down if he is being confronted. It is because of this, he tends to view most people as too much of a hassle to deal with. If he chooses to protect someone, then he will do what he must in order to protect him. Being the older sibling to twins gave him this bit of a protective nature. He treats the game as an escape from the real world, because he goes through plenty of stress in the real world. It will take him a little bit to warm up to someone, but that doesn’t mean that he enjoys being alone. |

Biography
He was the first born in his family, with his twin siblings being almost 10 years younger than him. Grey worked hard at his studies all his life and worked hard at tasks that he found a small passion in. His father passed away while he was in high school, and his mom had to work two jobs just to sustain him and his two younger siblings. He acted more like a father to them than he did an older brother. After finishing high school, he went into college to find a field that interested him. With nothing having found to peak his interest just yet, he picked up a part time job as an office worker for a local insurance company to help him pay for rent of a small apartment. Between college and work, his friend noticed how stressed he was and suggest he should try playing games online if he doesn’t feel like going out and being social. Following his friend’s advice, he found the game Elder Tale at his local game shop and decided to give it a shot. Upon deciding about what class to play, he decided to try Samurai since he did study some martial arts, like Akido and Judo, when he was younger.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Samurai
Ace Move: Bushi Chousen (Samurai's Challenge): Chain 1. When used, resets any current Chain to 0. If an opponent performed an attack on you between this turn and your next turn, raise your Chain by 1. A move often used to start the battle. The Samurai issues a valiant taunt toward all enemies in the immediate area, challenging them to take up arms in a grand duel of honor. The animation of this skill is somewhat flashy and when it was a game, there were even videos of fandubs speculating what the samurai might have said. Needless to say, it carries on in this game too. This skill generates a high amount of aggro when used early on in a fight, an amount which decreases gradually over time. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Ace Move: Izuna-giri (Vacuum Slash): Chain 2. Usable after Chain 1 skills. Izunagiri is performed using a overhead slash, creating a vacuum air blade to be shot directly forward and strike enemies. The concept is also available toward bow use as well, engulfing the arrows in a wind current that allows for additional piercing damage. This attack is notably one of the few Samurai skills that can strike from long range for melee fighters. This skill's attribute is wind, has an animation time of 2 seconds, and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Ace Move: Go no Sen (Early Bird, Night Owl): Chain 1. Starts or resets the current Chain. Does nothing if the opponent targeted the player with a magic attack. This ace move follows after the basic concept of Parry, except that it is used in an aggressive manner to build up momentum. The user predicts an oncoming attack and counters it by striking the opponent's weapon with their weapon and then pushing onward into an attack of their own. Gonosen is typically performed with a melee weapon, but its concept can also be used to deflect an opponent's arrow by shooting it off-course. To deflect ranged attacks in this manner, the Samurai must obviously be equipped with a bow. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Roleplay Class: Cavalier
Jousting: The Cavalier's specialization in horseback combat is revealed in their greater proficiency of lance combat. Any two-handed spears or polearms wielded by the Cavalier become one-handed while they are mounted. Additionally, if the Cavalier's main class would normally penalize them from using spears or polearms, this skill allows them to use spears and polearms without penalty.
Crafting Class: Blacksmith
Heatsink: Blacksmiths are able to wear chain armor without penalties if they are normally unable to wear chain armor. They are able to wear plate armor without penalties if they are normally able to wear chain armor but not plate armor. Also a toggle skill. Through their skills at working around a forge, blacksmiths have developed a slight tolerance toward heat. They take reduced damage of 10% from fire-based attacks.
