It was that time of year again and Ame couldn't wait to indulge in all of the Christmas cheer that was being spread out in the lands of Elder Tale! She wanted nothing more than to see the tree that had been put up in the heart of the city of Londinium, but she knew better than to go during the day. Sure, you could still see the lights and the ornaments perfectly, but there was something about the lights casting that perfect glow on each ornament, on each branch and on all of it's surroundings that just made her heart want to pop right out of her chest! Christmas was a special time of year for the fox tail, one she treasured above all, even her birth date. She loved the cheer that the specific holiday would bring. From carolers, to decorations, to gifts and celebration, she loved it all, every little spec of it and this year, she planned to partake in each of the events that had been planned.
There were three in total, and she knew they wouldn't be around for long, so she had to get right to it. The first and foremost was of course to be shopping! A day of shopping and then a night of viewing the tree. She couldn't pretend that she didn't feel a little lonely going and doing it all herself but she knew that perhaps she would see some friends, or meet new ones in the town. It was always bustling and she doubted it would be less at this time. There were a few things that she wanted to get and a few of those things she hoped they had! She could, of course, make her own egg nog and hot chocolate and ginger snaps and ginger bread cookies, but she wanted to help out the other Adventurers and Landers selling them as well. She had money to spare and was willing to give it away at a moments notice for some yummy treats. She also wanted to get some Christmas decorations for the guild house! She wondered if they would put up a tree? She probably should have asked before jumping into it, but she didn't care. She would buy a tree herself if it came down to it! The next thing she wanted to buy was gifts of course! The guild house had decided upon secret Santa between all of them, but there were other people she had to buy for as well. Lastly, she wanted to buy some festive clothing! It was beginning to get extremely cold out, though it hadn't begun to snow just yet and she really didn't have proper clothing for the season. She was subjected to skirts and dresses only at the moment and doubted she would last the severe weather again this year on just that.
With her list in her mind, she shuffled out of her room, closing the door softly behind her and made her way down the stairs. It was early and she doubted anyone would be up so she was as quiet as possible as she clicked the hospital's entrance door open and shut it softly behind her. She put a little skip in her step and began down the street to the city humming the tune to 'It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.' - Words - 561

This was it. The time of year for celebration and cheer was finally blooming along the streets of Londinium, and the happiness was found wherever one looked. Dorian had rarely participated in the revelries of the holiday, what with having been dazed and confused by the new reality he had been thrown into; but, here he was, celebrating with all the other Adventurers and Landers in the streets, bustling through stalls and hanging up lights to bring the cheer to everyone in sight. Christmas had always been a dear time for him; it usually was the only time his family ever got together properly, and it meant a lot of joy for the young Chroma - his old, pre-Catastrophe self - and now he could reunite with that joy once more. With his guild no doubt preparing hastily for the upcoming celebrations, he had no doubt he was in for a wild few weeks.
Deciding to hit the town today and see about investigating the various stalls, the young Shaman had donned himself in his weather-suitable vanity gear, the Neourban Threads, made up of a winter-ready black coat, tight-fitting green t-shirt, and of course olive-coloured long pants. He was ready to strike out into the town, and was already approaching a nearby stall, filling a small bag with an assortment of sweets and sugary treats; perhaps he might run into an acquaintance, so as to share his little bag of goods with others. Though he had a major sweet tooth, he despised hoarding them for himself. After all, it was the Snowfell Festival, as they called it here in the Unfounded Kingdom.
With his bag neatly stashed within the inner linings of his winter jacket, he began traversing through the crowds of people, bowing his head lightly to various Landers and Adventurers who walked passed wishing merriment and a happy holiday to him, even replying back to some of them with a thank you and a seasons greetings in return. It wasn't long before he managed to spot a familiar figure in the crowd, the delightful musical hum of a classic Christmas song dancing over his ears as he approached. Using his light foot manoeuvres, he slipped between the various people in the crowd, drawing himself up beside Kitty, a soft smile dancing across his palette. "But the prettiest sight to see, is the holly that will be," Dorian continued for her, catching onto her hum and singing the rest just loud enough for her to recognise he was beside her. "On your own front door." HEALTH:100 MANA:100 WORDCOUNT:424 Coded by @serenityspace of LH

Do You Believe in Ghosts?
: Words : 2037 : Tags : kittygrey, @serenityspace : Skills Used : [-N/A-] : Notes : Package Received, Message Sent. The songs of Christmas were in the air, silently being hummed by the thousands of people who now made Londinium their home. This was the second Christmas for Saber in this new world, and knowing that made the holiday a bit darker than he imagined it to be. Two years, two long years he had spent in this forsaken world. Two years spent traveling, killing, hunting, growing, changing, learning, and most of all, acting. He put on a mask the first day he came into this world to keep himself at a distance from the others and even now, he wore it like a brand. As Saber looked down from the overgrown skeleton of Big Ben, Saber took in the beautiful sight of the city below. This world was now his home, and Saber still found it hard to believe. No matter how much he thought about it, it still felt a bit like a dream. Due to that, he never let his guard down. The fear of getting killed from behind, even in the safe zone, was like a curse which hung over his head.
Saber let out a huff and pulled out his harmonica, slipping it out from his back pouch, the black metallic object shimmering in the light as he twirled it easily around his fingers. With a snag, he clutched the instrument and then brought it to his lips. Slowly he leaned back into the wall of the tower behind him and blew into the reeds, softly. The noise which the object emitted was smooth, but rough. The system didn’t exactly like the idea of a non-musical Class playing such a tune but Saber was still able to play the music. Of course, the sounds weren’t any kind of song or any kind of rhythm. Instead it was just a jumble of noise as Saber’s ears honed in on the different tones. His eyes closed and his fingers worked the different holes on the harmonica, his wrists moving it back and forth as Saber practiced. He had made the instrument a while back but just recently, he had begun to feel the need to play it or at least practice. In his time alone he had done plenty of that and now, he was starting to be able to pick out the different notes.
“Soon.” Saber thought as he let out a final breath through the reeds, plucking the instrument from his lips. He flicked it, his saliva spreading out into the air before evaporating with the wind. He wiped the edge where his mouth had been off on his pants and then tucked it back into his rear pouch. His downtime was up; it was time to move. Without any sound of despair, Saber dropped down the clock tower to the actual clockface, grabbed at the brick lining, and then swung himself into a broken hole in the tower. He dropped another few feet onto a landing, rolled, and then slipped through a broken wall into the clock room. One day, he would get it running again but it was beyond him at the current moment. Minutes later after his descent, Saber popped out the lower entrance into the tower and slipped into the streets, his body melding into the crowds like a ghost.
The streets of the city were alive, now more than ever just like the previous year had been. People were bustling around to the different shops in search of gifts, traveling with their partners with locked arms, and merchants were taking advantage of the Christmasy air with sales and new wares. Saber saw a few things which piqued his interest, but dared not stop as he walked. He knew he needed a gift, one gift, but he would take his time finding it. If he couldn’t find one fitting, then he would make it. Unlike last year, Saber now had a considerable amount of crafting skills. He could make almost anything and everything under the sun that he could ever possibly need and along the way, had picked up knowledge on how to make fancy little trinkets. If he wasn’t so secretive about his crafting ability, he probably would have his own stall in these streets. Though, he didn’t need the money like the other merchants did. Being level ninety, Saber could easily take on quests which gave large rewards. Thus, he had an overabundance of Gold. It was nice, in some aspects. Finding things to spend it all on was the hard part; why spend money on an item when he could just make it?
That was when it snagged him. Saber’s right foot stopped midstep and the Assassin looked over towards a stall across the road from where he was. There, on the upper shelf to the left was a small little object. It was dull, barely would fit in his palm, but it had a small air about it that had attracted him. Even from the distance he was at, Saber could make it out clearly through the crowds; it was a marble. Not just any marble though, but one that had a red and blue swirl to its core with a perfectly refined ball around it. Saber’s nose wiggled and quickly, he made his way across the road and up to the stall. As he approached, the woman who sat on a cushion behind the lower table smirked at him. She peered out from beneath her hood towards the masked Assassin, who hadn’t taken his eyes off the marble.
“I never thought you’d move.” The woman said, an aged voice reaching Saber’s ears. The Assassin looked down at her, his nose wiggling as he saw winkled lips curl upwards. He stared at her for a few seconds, but began to feel uncomfortable; it felt as if she was looking right through his mask. Rather than risk any more torture, he nodded towards the marble. It looked even more beautiful close up as it sat in a soft pillow case inside of a purple box. From just a few feet off, Saber could see the red and blue mana swirls dancing with one another in an almost tender show of care. The crystal orb holding the two swirls together was carefully carved into and the images of a fox and a wolf were portrayed in it, as if the two were chasing each other’s tails.
“Oh~? You’re interested in my best work, aren’t you?” Internally, Saber cursed at himself. Shit, that meant it would be expensive. That didn’t matter though.
“How much?” Rather than fumble with any kind of conversation, Saber kept to what he was here for. He knew what he wanted and so did the woman; there was no need for idle talk if that was the case. Plus, he wasn’t interested in it in the first place.
“It depends. How much of that gauntlet are you willing to explain?” Raising her eyes, the woman looked up towards Saber and then pointed at his forearm. Saber glanced down at his new accessory, his creed, and wiggled his nose. When he looked back at the woman, her lips began to move.
“Not for ourselves alone…” She said softly, reading one of the inscriptions on the accessory. Saber nodded. The woman smiled. She reached out and beckoned for his arm, Saber obliged. He reached out and let her old, winkled hands rub over the metal object on his arm. Her fingers worked slowly, tracing the etchings as if she was listening to Saber’s own heart pump. It made him tense up, but he didn’t resist as the woman continued her inspection.
“Sparta?” She glanced up towards Saber for a moment as her fingers crested the image of the Spartan helm.
“Blood.” Saber did not hail directly from the homeland of his family, but his line stretched deep into the island’s roots. However not only did his blood pulse with the DNA of his ancestors, but his body was carved out of stone just like theirs had been. The training he had been put through turned him into a warrior much like his ancestors and because of that, he thrived in the world he was now in. The old woman’s smile told him that she knew all about it.
“Remain strong, child of war. Your ancestors smile upon you even here.” The woman placed her warm hands over his and held his hand firmly. Then, she leaned down and turned his palm over; her lips were moist as she kissed his hand. Saber bowed his head and, as he was released, pulled his arm back.
“Are you..?” Saber questioned, but the woman only smiled warmly to him; a non-verbal show of assurance. So, he wasn’t alone, even if she was far older than him. That was enough. The old woman rose slowly to her feet, her legs lifting her aged body out her comfortable seat as she returned to her job. Her body shook. Once she was up, she turned to her right and then carefully pulled the marble down from the shelf that was comfortably above eye level. She turned back to her left and then passed it carefully over to the Assassin, placing it directly into his hands. The soft smile was still on her face.
“Whoever this is for must be important to you.” Saber nodded and stared down at the marble for an extra second, closing the box carefully as he looked up towards the woman. He was about to raise a hand to access the menu when she shook her head. Saber grimaced beneath his scarf; it wasn’t fair.
“Rather than gold, what is your name?” The woman slowly nestled herself back into her cushion and let out a satisfied sigh, as if the weight of the world fell off her shoulders.
“Sa--…. Jake Furrow.” Saber had started on his digital alias, but knew full well that doing so would be disrespectful. Quickly, he fixed his potential mistake. The woman grinned again and nodded.
“May the Gods continue to guide you, Jake.” Saber bowed his head again at the blessing and then glanced over to his right as he began to turn away. Though before he even took a step, his sharp eyes caught a certain detail. In the distance, he saw a familiar blonde set of hair walking down the road towards him; bubbly as always. His stomach clenched and he felt suddenly a bit sick, but she was still a good distance away. Well, at least he had that.
“Oh-ho, well isn’t she pretty~.” The woman to his left let out a soft chuckle as she spoke. Saber rumbled and glanced over to her; she was looking directly through the crowd at the same person. How she did it, Saber had no idea but he was already too embarrassed to say anything in defense. Instead, the flustered warrior elected that escape was a better option.
“Thank you. Take care.” With that, Saber slipped away from the stall and left his only close connection to the real world behind. The woman did not respond as the man in black vanished into the air. She lowered her head back down and waited for the next customer. Saber on the other hand, slipped away into the alleys and then elevated himself to the rooftops above. Once he was there, the Assassin sat down on the edge of the building he was on and made himself comfortable, the box hidden away on his person. He opened up his menu and then swiftly accessed the message feature.
“Don’t you think it’s a little chilly for skirts?” Saber entered the message with haste, glancing to his left as he watched the woman walk down the street. He noticed someone walk up behind her, but it didn’t bother him. A friend of hers, maybe. If not then he would act, but he didn’t move. His focus was on the blonde. Should she read her message, she would probably start looking for him as it would tell her one thing; he was close enough to see her. A sly grin crossed his face and he waited from his perch, hiding in plain sight as he usually did.

It was December. The most miserable month of the year… at least in Sayha’s opinion. It was constantly cold and snow and ice everywhere… on top of the wind that blew around from time to time. It was like a constant Avon everywhere she went. However despite the briskness in the air, there were things Sayha had intended on doing… which was why she was in Londinium rather than her home in Moon Dance Forest. Sayha was on a personal mission to shop for gifts… or at least a gift. She could only think of three people that she would buy things for but giving gifts had never been her thing. Christmas wasn’t exactly celebrated at her home though they did go through the formality of putting up a tree and lights and the sorts. However, it was never particularly festive. The closest thing to festive Sayha had gotten on the other side was the winter demonstration at her dojo for the parents as well as the kids who were looking to sign up for lessons. The previous year had been a haze for Sayha and she hadn’t done anything… actually it had been only a few months ago when Sayha decided to stop surviving and start living.
That, however, was beside the point of that day. Sayha had made her way from the train station towards the market area that was bustling full of people. If it had been any other time of year, Sayha would have just waited for the crowd to thin out before entering. Unfortunately, she was well aware that there was no way the market would thin out so she would just have to deal with all the people.
Sayha began looking around at all the booths and shops that were set up all over the place. There were a lot of holiday items like miniature Christmas trees, hot cocoa, and even cookies. There were also booths having sales which would probably be good places to check for gifts… though she had no idea what to buy as gifts.
Just as she was about to mull over some ideas when she spotted a familiar face in the crowd. It was the shaman Dorian, a good friend of hers. “Fancy seeing you here, Dorian,” Sayha said with a slight smile, walking over to where he was, “Doing some Christmas shopping as well, I’m guessing?”

Christmas cheerfulness is everywhere; Lamenta could see different booths are open one by one. He is ‘okay’ with Christmas, he just never had a normal Christmas experience at all, and so everything is a bit awkward for him. All he could think is;
‘What is the difference of Christmas and any other day actually?”
There’s only snow packed up the street, a Christmas tree standing tall, song everywhere, basically it could be anytime to do these activity, not on this particular day. But that doesn’t mean hold anyone to enjoy this festival, it no wonder it’s been a few month since the apocalypse happens. It’s not a sin for everyone enjoying themselves participating this party. Like others, the beginner bard couldn’t help it to smile witnessing bustling people wandering around market area to buy something. Himself actually thinking to buy a gift for someone, yet he never decided who is this ‘someone’. ‘ I am still a beginner; I don’t have many friends here. Maybe I can give some to Katarina? She helps me quite a lot when I just arrived’
‘Or maybe I could give some to Heruza’
It’s been a while since he pondering for an idea for that lucky ‘someone’, it’s not like he actually knows what thing he will buy for them thought. He keep pacing in moderate fast pace, whenever he was pondering over something he just can’t stand quietly. If he decided to buy something for someone, it should be something memorable. It need make them look in awe and respect him for his effort to buy things for them. A good relation is a start to get a good sla—erm I mean friend. That’s how he survive after his parents died, and many people that claiming to be his parents colleague/ best friend try to get their inheritance. The young bard look at a particular booth, which is selling a variant of teas. A wide grin painted over his face and he rushed toward that booth.
‘A cup of tea, might be a nice idea’
Without he realizes it. He bumps on someone while he was weaving through the crowd. The one he bump to has a dark brown messy hair (that make him think whether he was a hobo or not), his vibrant green eyes gives a plus point on his childish looking, yet he still manage to maintain strong aura
‘I am terribly sorry, I didn’t see you at all, are you hurt?’

Ame had wandered into the bustling streets of the city, still humming the same tune she had been when she had first departed from her new home at the guild house. She was definitely ready to do some shopping but it would take her a while with the crowds posted at nearly every shop. She had thought that making her way to the city early in the morning had been the best ideas, as usually it held less people and better items, but clearly, around this certain time of year, it was a little different. She hadn't done much shopping last year and had only joined in on the Snowdonia Ball, which had been one of the most wonderful nights she had experienced in her entire life, here or in the other world. The thought made a smile curve the edges of her lips as a small giggle escaped them and her cheeks blushed a bright pink. She quickly shook the thought away and began wandering to a random shop to see if she could find anything that she was looking for, but before she could enter, she heard a beeping noise coming from inside of her brain and instantly knew that she had received a message.
Ame opened her interface and the message popped up in front of her blue eyes. She squinted at the words and then tilted her head, her brows raising. Her ears twitched and her tail swung side to side, briskly, as if excited, but her mood changed as she heard a voice singing the song she had just been humming. Instead of watching the roof tops she met the green eyes of her friend and guild mate Dorian. She quickly closed her interface and held up her hand in a greeting. "Hey Dori! I didn't know you were coming here today! I left the guild house all sneaky so I wouldn't wake you, but now I wonder if there was even anyone home." She let out a soft giggle and her eyes shifted to a nearby rooftop, her ears twitching as she felt a gaze on her. She let out a small smirk as she saw the assassin propped up on the roof top. She was far to used to his antics to be tricked continuously, though he did still manage to get her, but not this time. She made a mental note to brag about her win later and turned her eyes towards Dorian, and a girl she had never seen before.
With her hand raised again, she greeted the newcomer with a smile and a small, "hello there." Her voice was as bubbly as usual and her grin wide, until that was, a man bumped into her guild mate and she took a step forward, her arms slightly outstretched, to catch him should he fall. She looked up, her face serious, but not angry and had to tilt her head. Her brows furrowed with confusion as she looked at the man before them. "Have we met?" She had definitely seen this man before, though she couldn't imagine where. She didn't think that she knew him, or had spoken to him, as she usually remembered all that she had, but his face seemed, oh so familiar. She shook her head. "No, no, I must be imagining things. I apologize." She bowed her head slightly and cast her eyes again to the rooftops, but quickly back to the group. She knew he wouldn't linger there for long as he would want to join them eventually, or so she hoped anyways. - Words -596- Tags -@serenityspace , Saber , @shadowsaiph , Lamenta - Skills Used ----- Notes -Sorry, weekends can be hectic but I'll post as much as I can during the week! Dorian merely chuckled as he managed to catch the fox tail's attention, though he noticed she had been in the middle of her interface; perhaps he had interrupted something? Raising his own hand in return to her greeting, he bowed his head gradually in a respectful manner, lowering both of his arms and interlocking his palms together behind his back before replying. "I wasn't in the guild house last night, actually; I've been... well, let's just say I've been exploring a lot more lately. Trying to find a certain something..." Trailing off, he shook his head, quickly bringing himself back to the moment at hand. "But enough about me! What brings you out here into the hustle and bustle? Shopping for the holidays, perhaps?" He smiled contently, tilting his head slightly as he posed her the question, only to notice her attention somewhat preoccupied as she glanced off into the distance; subtly following the direction of her interest, all he could see was rooftops and windows. Giving a light shrug, Dorian turned his attention back to Kitty.
It was then that his own attention was caught amidst the sea of people around them; blinking slowly, he turned slightly to spot the source of a familiar voice that had called out his name. Approaching him with a smile on her face was none other than Sayha, no doubt out here as well to enjoy the festivities. "Hello there, Sayha! We seem to be bumping into each other a fair bit these days, hmm?" He chuckled, bowing his head towards her in greeting before nodding in agreement to her question. "Quite right; it's always a grand adventure this time of the year, especially with this crowd." Gesturing towards the ocean of faces around them, he finally turned back to Kitty, completely forgetting that the two femmes probably had never met. "Where are my manners? Kitty, this is Sayha, an old friend of mine from back when I was only low level lad; she was one of my mentors, you see." Emitting yet another chuckle, he turned to Sayha, gesturing beside him towards his guild mate. "Sayha, this is Kitty, she's one of the fellow members of my new guild; I believe I did tell you I had joined a guild recently?"
He was, of course, cut short from any further conversation, as he suddenly felt a speedy force knock into him from out of nowhere. Quickly catching himself so as not to fall into Kitty, he stood himself up properly, dusting off his attire with an amused smile as the man who had suddenly charged into him made his apologies; Dorian merely shook his head, waving his hand dismissively. "No need to fret, just a little bump, that's all. A few knocks are to be expected come this time of day, especially with this amount of people shuffling around one another." He looked over his shoulder to check he hadn't bumped into Kitty on collateral, noticing her outstretched arms as if to catch him. Smiling, he bowed his head in thanks towards her, before stepping back slightly so the four of them could strike up conversation with more ease. "Well, in any case, I do believe you owe us at least a name, young man," he offered, gesturing towards the fellow who had bumped into him just seconds before. Do You Believe in Ghosts?
: Words : 988 : Tags : kittygrey, @serenityspace, @shadowsaiph, Lamenta: Skills Used : [N/A] : Notes : ---- Saber watched from his distant perch, his eyes narrowing and the corner of his lips curling upwards as he watch Kitty stop in the doorway in order to react to his message. He could see it, even from where he sat. Did she always react like that when he messaged her? That excited movement of her tail and the subtle twitching of her ears? Her obviousness made him chuckle and he smirked beneath his scarf. Yet, he didn’t move even as she talked with the new appearance. He seemed a bit small and his equipment gave away his level. From how she reacted, he was indeed a friend. The sight made Saber warm a little. Good, she truly wasn’t alone. This was the first time he had seen her with a friend so it was a reassuring sight. Part of him didn’t like his slim lack of trust with the woman, but he didn’t bother questioning anything. If she was going to lie to him, then she had her reasons.
Saber waited and watched her, his eyes drifting to the people below for a moment as he checked his own surroundings. He was in a ‘safe zone’ but he wasn’t exactly safe, or at least he never let himself be comfortable. He had more enemies than friends in this city because of his work, so moving in the open wasn’t always the best of ideas. Sitting on a rooftop ledge probably made him stick out too; too much. After checking himself, he looked back towards Kitty. In that instant, he saw them; those pretty blue eyes looking right back at him. Saber huffed. Well, at least she was learning. Saber stared back at her, locking gazes for only a brief, but long enough, moment before she looked away. His little game already over, Saber looked up towards the sky and let out a hot sigh. The wind whisked over his scarf, swatting away the puff of mist that appeared. The man then looked down and rolled over to his right, his hand tapping the stone floor as he bounced to his feet. The Assassin slipped into the alley he had climbed up from and descended rapidly to the street once more.
There were things to do and his day wasn’t as free and open as Kitty’s may have been, but he doubted he would get a good opportunity to see her for a bit. Thus, even though she had others gathering around her, he would take his chance. The nimble Elf popped out of the alley and merged with the flow of the light traffic in the street. It wasn’t heavy and Saber could maneuver with ease, but there were a good number of others in the area. Saber was able to blend in quite easily with a few of the groups, his dark clothes letting him merge without any problems with the shadows. He slowed his breathing and relaxed himself, standing up tall as he closed in on where the blonde clump of hair was.
Today, Saber had three missions to finish and there was a target he would have to hunt down later in the evening. But he would make time for her. If he had to rush a little later on, so be it. There would be no point in living this life anymore if he simple worked like a robot. He enjoyed his rough life as a Mercenary, but slowly Saber had turned into more of an Adventurer as of late. He continued to take jobs for the nearby Nobles and still hunted down those that needed to be taught a lesson, but he had spent several weeks out beyond the bubble of the Londinium-Sarum-Avon cluster. The Western lands were different from here and even the North was a sight to see. For Saber, Londinium was simply a resting place while he refilled his supplies. However, over time his curiosity burned more and more. Saber wanted to spend less time in Londinium and more time out on the Frontier. Spending time beyond the local bubble meant that he couldn’t see the foxtail as much as he wanted. If it were up to him, Saber would bring her with him… but he was afraid of that. He feared exposing her to the dangers of the world beyond what she knew. Even he had trouble sometimes. One day, though, he would show her the beauty of the Western Coastline.
It didn’t take long for Saber to close in on the blonde but as he did so, he slowed his pace. The Assassin spotted two others that had entered the space around the foxtail; another male and another female. They all seemed to be connected somehow, yet those lines seemed quite blurred. Saber wiggled his nose beneath his scarf and tucked his head back into his hood, letting it drape low over his brow. He stepped up to Kitty’s rear left without a word and stepped with his right foot a bit harder, letting the sound of his boot hitting the ground make a noticeable noise. He glanced out at the others for a moment, his hands resting on the pommels of his two black blades and let his cloak cover his body, concealing the armory beneath it.
“Friends, I assume?” Saber spoke, his voice raw and rough as he opened his mouth. After sitting on the roof for a bit, he hadn’t let much saliva float through his throat. He rumbled a little and subtly lubed his throat, his nose pressing into his scarf as he scanned the other three on the other side of Kitty. As he waited and watched, he considered how he would sneak his little present onto the foxtail’s person. There were a few ways to do it, but he would need to use his sleight of hand skills. He wasn’t the best at that though, which sucked in situations like this.

When Sayha initially walked up to Dorian, she hadn’t noticed that he was with a blonde fox-tailed girl who greeted her. “Hello,” Sayha nodded towards the girl. Dorian had turned to her as well, giving her a greeting. He introduced the fox-girl as Kitty, one of his guild mates. “You did say you were in a guild, though you never mentioned which guild you were in,” Sayha said to Dorian, “Though I think I forgot to tell you which guild I’m in so we’re even.” She then turned back to Kitty, “It’s nice to meet you Kitty. I’m Sayha.”
After Sayha finished speaking, someone bumped into Dorian on accident. It wasn’t really a surprise since the marketplace was pretty bustling. Dorian said it was no problem, which was about right. He wasn’t the type to hold a grudge over an accident. Though Dorian did ask him to introduce himself in an overly formal and polite manner that made Sayha want to roll her eyes. Then movement behind Kitty caught Sayha’s attention.
It took a moment for Sayha to recognize who it was. It was the assassin Saber. Sayha recalled seeing him before back when Hiro had been working on the train tracks. Hiro had called a guild leader meeting, and Saber had been there… though she didn’t recall him speaking out or saying… anything really. He had kept to himself the entire time, and Sayha guessed he was there mostly just for the information. Though back then, Sayha had a different appearance so she doubted he would recognize her. When he spoke, his voice sounded gravelly… and it was also slightly muffled by his scarf. “You might want to look at drinking some water,” Sayha said to the other assassin.

HP: 100% MP: 100% SKILL USED: N/A LAMENTA bard As expected if you try to weave through a crowded place, sooner or later you will bump to someone that you may not know and make a new encounter with new people. If Lamenta can choose, he prefer to meet with new potential friends in less awkward way.
The man who he just accidentally bump into was in the middle of conversation with two other girls, they look like close with each other. The man was nice enough to forgive him, if he was going to hold a grudge over that small matter, the young Bard will try to reason with him and make him believe that it was a small matter.
' My name is Lamenta Noir, or you could call me En to shorten it. Please don't use a certain nickname that might have appear already in your mind ' Lamenta bow while he introduce himself, he stare at the fox tail girl that right next to him. Her face is familiar like i have seen it somewhere, in fact, Lamenta have a feeling that he already met with all of them before. He shook his head and believe he was just imagining it. Although, that fox tail girl has her doubt too.
Lamenta notice that the assassin girl right next to him was staring at someone behind the fox tail girl. There is another assassin, but now it's a he. He moves slowly, Lamenta's can't figure why, approaches them. This newcomer, feels familiar for some reason and he still can't imagine how, he sure that this is his first time meeting them.
Right now he should think, what should he do next. Wether he split up with them, or maybe hang out a bit with them just to make new circles, friends can happen by accident. He doesn't have any particular reason to buy things alone, in fact he believe more is merrier. However, he should think wether his current mood is good enough to have companion or not. He tries to remember his morning, until now he has a considerably good things happen, so it is safe enough to assume he currently has a nice mood for today.
'There is sure a big crowd we have here, it almost like in the subway on busy hour but worse' He look around at the crowd '..not that i got into subway quite often though..' he mumbled.
It's been three months since he trapped to this game, until now he never had any experience stroll around the town , he usually waste his time daily by going out the safe zone just to check how strong he is in this world, wether is there any difference in his real word physical abilities or not, and to let him drown in happiness due to his leg. '.. I never been in this part of this town, i don't know which is left and right in this place.. Would it be troublesome if i go with you guys, until i found what i am searching for?" The young bard staring at other people respective eyes while making a request, he isn't completely lying about never been in this part of town, whenever he pass this place, he never pay any special attention to his surrounding, he just now how to leave this particular place. But he doesn't know the shop location.
He silently hope, they are friendly enough to accept a complete stranger...

Ame's eyes widened slightly at the mention of finding a certain something and she desperately wanted to ask but figured she better not. Perhaps she could ask him a little later, when there weren't so many people gathered. She was always up for a good adventure and though she was as curious as a cat, she knew better than to prod. She would ask him and if he chose not to share his secret, then she would leave it at that. Whit his question, she nodded with a smile. "I am. I need to get decorations and gifts and some new clothing, because as you can see, I'm a little under dressed for the season." She giggled softly, her head tilting down to her armor as she brought her hands up and then down over her outfit. It certainly wasn't cold appropriate and left her shivering more than anything. She found herself unfocused on many occasions because of it.
As Dorian introduced her and Sayha introduced herself, a smile grew on her lips and she nodded. "Likewise, Sayha!" She loved meeting new people and since this girl was a friend of Dorian's, she knew that she probably didn't have anything to worry about when getting along with her. It was rare for the fox tail to not get along with someone, though she had experienced it once. The whole situation had been wrong, but Kitty had been at a strange point in her Elder Tale life and supposed that she had come off as rude or something, though she had never meant any harm. She shook the thought from her head mentally and her ears perked up, her tail swaying as she heard the sound of a boot shuffle behind her. She tilted her head back, glancing at Saber as he spoke, but then let out a soft giggle as Sayha made a comment to the male assassin's voice. "She's right, you know. And yes, these are my friends, Dorian and Sayha and-" She paused, looking to Bard and awaiting his name.
Once his name was given, her eyes popped and she pointed a dramatic finger at him. "Oh! You're the newest member of Ephemeral Solace! Myself and Dori, here," she pointed her thumb to Dorian, "are your guild mates! I thought I recognized you, though I saw you from a far distance and never got the chance to speak with you!" She smiled and tilted her head back to Saber. "This is my, uh, this is Saber." She had been about to tell the group of their relationship, though she couldn't actually say what he was to her, as they hadn't even discussed it between themselves. Her cheeks flushed a bright pink and she flashed an apologetic look to Elf, the male one. She cleared her throat with a shake of her head and then looked to Lamenta as he spoke.
She thought it a little odd that he would give them a nickname and not allow them to use their own, but she knew better than to judge as each person was different. Though when she thought about what he meant by a 'certain nickname' she flashed her eyes to the bar above her head and couldn't help but instantly notice the word 'lame.' The chuckle came without warning and she found herself clearing her throat and gazing from side to side, away from the group. In all honestly, she would have never even thought to call him that as she didn't think he was lame, if anything, it would have been Lam, but En was as good a name as any and she found herself looking at him with a wide smile, hoping he hadn't taken offense to her hidden chuckle. "I have no objections with you coming along En! If anything, the more the merrier!" She looked to the rest of the group, taking a step to the side to include Saber in said group. So much was happening all at once, it was slightly difficult for Dorian to keep with the various different people now around him. He first began with Lamenta, as he had named himself. "A pleasure to meet you, Lamenta, I'm Dorian." Bowing his head in respect, he listened as the male noted on the sizeable crowd that had developed here, to which the Shaman concurred. "It does get rather busy this time of year, but that is the way of the festive season. Snowfell is quite a big deal to Landers and Adventurers alike." Dorian himself had yet to gain any cherished memories from the celebrations; even as his first real time spent in the season, it hadn't been all that spectacular quite yet, but hopefully that would change for the better.
Turning now to Sayha, Dorian finally responded to her earlier words on his lack of forthcoming when it came to his current guild's name, smiling softly at her words, he gave her an apologetic look, nodding his head. "My apologies for not mentioning, but under the circumstances of our last meeting, I think you can agree that our guild names were the least of our concerns." He lifted his arms back towards the front of his body, crossing them over atop his chest before continuing. "Ephemeral Solace, as it is named; it suits me well, and the others in it have been more than welcoming. Kitty here included!" Turning back to the fox tail beside him, he gave her a happy nod, acknowledging and thanking her for her kindness towards him since they had first met.
It was then that Dorian turned his attention to the newest member of the group; for a moment, the Shaman was about to ask him of his name, but after a somewhat arduous contemplation over where he had seen the face before, he realised that it was the Assassin Saber. It had been quite a while since the two had gathered together, but for the life of him, Dorian couldn't quite pinpoint what it was they had been doing, almost as if it was a fleeting dream - something to do with the Messier Sages and tablets. He remembered the Assassin however, still as mysterious as ever, and he could make quite the silent entrance when he wanted to. The Shaman gave a smile, and once again bowed his head respectfully towards the mysterious male. "Greetings to you, Saber; it's been a while, but I see you have not changed much. A pleasure, as it must always be."
Kitty began to speak up, Dorian quickly averting his attention back to her, listening to her words. He was surprised to hear the... hesitance, in her introduction of Saber; the words that almost formed, and the blush that followed was clear indication of something between the two, and the Shaman did his best to keep a calm demeanour, hiding his surprise. He made no attempt to pry, however; he was not one for gossip, and what Kitty did during her times outside the guild was completely her business. In fact, turning back to Saber, the Shaman felt a sense of happiness towards the Assassin; there was some light in the male's otherwise darker life.
Turning back to the current situation, Dorian rolled his eyes at Kitty. She always could be so forgetful; but, he knew better than to tease her on it. "I'd be happy to join this merry crew. I have some free time left for the day, so lead on!" He relaxed his arms back down by his sides, nodding his head to emphasise his approval of the current posse. This may turn out to be just the memorable day he was hoping for. HEALTH:100 MANA:100 WORDCOUNT:621 Coded by @serenityspace of LH

Do You Believe in Ghosts?
: Words : 1290 : Tags : kittygrey, @serenityspace, @shadowsaiph, Lamenta: Skills Used : [N/A] : Notes : --- The Assassin took a quick look around at the party ahead of him, taking a closer look at those before him. A collection of people he didn’t know, that’s all they were to him, and for once he was content with that. The only faces he truly knew at first glance these days were those he had been sent after, Kitty, and a few others he had seen multiple times before. Not recognizing any of them was a good thing, for them at least. Though, Saber wasn’t so foolish as to start a fight in the center of Londinium. He had seen the true Guards before and had dared to raise his sword against one of them for getting in his way. He’d never fled the city so fast ever since that day. Now he knew his place, sort of. But even if the three others in front of him were targets, they didn’t look the part; another reason for him to relax. At the words of the purple haired woman, Saber let out a soft breath and narrowed his eyes a little, swallowing a bit of extra saliva to lube his throat. He didn’t respond to her and his eyes drifted back to Kitty as he awaited her response.
Before he got it though, Saber was addressed by one of the other two men; he spoke as if he remembered Saber from somewhere. That may have been true, but Saber just looked at him with as blank of a stare as before. This man wasn’t anyone he recognized, but then again he got that a lot. After returning from his initial leave from Londinium many months back, Saber had met several ‘old faces’ that he no longer recognized. Even now, people acknowledged him from times long past but he knew nothing of who they were or why they disturbed him. The Assassin didn’t have the blessing of a strong memory these days. His memory had become mostly a fog and his days were sometimes spliced together, with a lot in between just disappearing. This was one of those instances; he had no idea who this man was or where he had seen him from. It may have been recent, but the man’s wording told Saber otherwise.
“It’s not always a pleasure to meet someone.” He spoke curtly. Saber had been greeted more times with violence than playful banter so for him this kind of greeting was nothing more than a blessing. He took advantage of it, for the moment. The cool and calm air of the ‘conversation’ let Saber relax even more, something he didn’t do often.
After another moment, Kitty introduced the group to him. Dorian was the name of the man who he had some connection to, Sayha was the purpled haired female, and the third was still an unknown. Saber thought that Dorian’s name would help but his memory, faded and broken, didn’t put the name to face and the familiarity became nothing but a needle prodding at his skull. He would remember if the necessary time came and until then, he wouldn’t ask. Though what made Saber more curious than anything was the other bit of information Saber received from Kitty’s introduction; Dorian and the third figure were a part of her Guild. Saber’s nose wiggled beneath his scarf at the words and he glanced at the two men again. Ephemeral Solace, a Guild for those who wished to lend a hand and one Saber personally labeled ‘the Charity Guild’. Charuen was the leader of that as well, from what his informant had led him to believe, so he knew it wouldn’t be half-assed in its efforts.
“Progress.” Saber thought as Kitty continued to speak, talking with the unknown male. The Guild was a small one, from what Saber understood but its presence was something that was on the rise. There was no doubt that Charuen was leading a truly good cause and if that was the case, then Kitty would be right at home beside the pinkette. There were few good natured souls in this city. One day, Saber quietly hoped that would change. He had seen much while hiding within the lair of his library. The slums weren’t getting any smaller, and the number of people being cast out into them was growing. Ephemeral Solace would be their saving grace, just as long as Charuen played her cards correctly.
“Prayers never got anyone anywhere though.” Saber looked to his left as he was introduced to the others, his eyes and head moving almost absentmindedly as he caught sight of a ragged looking woman turning and walking into an alleyway a good distance down the street. The Assassin’s lips pulled tightly together and he closed his eyes for a moment. The curse of civilization; some were always left behind. Kitty hesitated as she introduced him and Saber turned his head forward, the anonymous woman already leaving his mind; the help he could provide would not be enough, so he kept to his own business.
“Just your average, everyday Assassin.” Saber added to Kitty’s introduction. He placed a hand on the woman’s head and ruffled her hair lightly, messing with the foxtail’s beautiful blonde hair to toy with her a little. He was happy for her. She was with a good group of people, just as he hoped she was. After, Saber turned a little and looked up towards the building they were standing just in front of the doorway of. Kitty had attempted to enter it when she had received his message. It wasn’t really anything to speak of; ‘Beloved Trinkets’ was the name. From that, Saber could only guess that it was a building with small little items and random objects for sale. She was probably here for Christmas shopping.
“Hm?” Saber looked over, missing the rest of the conversation because of his mental wanderings. Kitty had asked about some kind of objection to something, and the Dorian chimed in with his own agreement. Saber glanced at the others for a moment and then looked back towards the building ahead of him.
“I guess.” If Kitty seemed excited about it, and another person had shown some kind of positivity to it, then Saber figured it wouldn’t hurt. He didn’t know what the hell it was about in the first place so he wouldn’t get himself pinned into a corner by saying no. That would just be stupid. And in order to keep himself from being questioned about whether he even knew what he was agreeing to, Saber elected to just… not linger.
“Probably not polite to stand by a door and not go inside after this long.” His voice wasn’t exactly raised or anything as he grabbed the doorknob to the shop, twisting it and opening the door to the cold. It was almost as if he was talking to himself, but he didn’t repeat the words he said. He simply left the door open behind him and walked inside. Instantly upon crossing the threshold, a wave of heat smacked against his face. Saber grunted a little and coughed lightly, the quick change in temperature causing his throat to clench for a brief second. A woman called out from the counter across the way, greeting the Assassin with a smile. Saber waved to her briefly and stepped out of the way of the door, his eyes wandering the well-organized room. There were several tables with dozens of different little trinkets and things inside of glass cases. There were small charms, jewelery pieces, cloth accessories hanging from the walls, and even things that could have engravings done on.
“Shit. This is the worst place.” Immediately, Saber thought of Kitty as he looked around. RIP Wallet.

After Sayha spoke up to the other assassin, the person who had run into Dorian introduced himself as Lamenta Noir aka En. He didn’t want to be called by the first letters of his name… which was no surprise… no one wanted to be called Lame. Though En didn’t seem like a good nickname… though that was for a later time to figure out. Now the only one who hadn’t been formally introduced was Saber… which Kitty did… kind of. She was going to introduce him one way but ended up introducing him simply as Saber… though Sayha chose not to say anything. Though the suggestion of everyone going shopping together was brought up, Sayha was hesitant. The swarm of people was making her rather uncomfortable and being with even more people… Sayha mentally shook her head. She needed to go shopping anyway and would be stuck in a crowd whether she be alone or not. She might as well be around people who were friendly.
Dorian responded to Sayha’s mention of guild names and stated that the guild he was in was Ephemeral Solace which made Sayha turn her attention to him. Sayha recalled hearing about the new guild, and at first was very skeptical it would work out. However, her doubts had left not long after the guild officially formed as they had quite a few members. “It sounds like a good place for you,” Sayha nodded towards Dorian, “I’m in Aprocrypha.”
Though when Saber spoke up, her mind went back to the shopping as a group. Saber had said that they should go in since they had been standing there for a while. “I am out doing some shopping so I don’t see any reason not to join you guys,” Sayha said before following Saber into the small store.
The store was very warm… extremely warm compared to outside. Sayha unbuttoned her coat so that way she wouldn’t get overheated by just standing there. Though once she was inside and out of the doorway, she looked around. There were little trinkets, jewelry, and that kind of stuff everywhere. Sayha was not quite sure if anything there would make good gifts… but it was worth looking around at least.
Sayha made her way over to the bracelets and looked them over… bracelets were cool… maybe… she didn’t care for them personally and preferred necklaces… maybe necklaces of sorts?

HP: 100% MP: 100% SKILL USED: N/A LAMENTA bard Lamenta put his ear in good use, he listen carefully with the introduction which Kitty's held. You can tell people nature from their first introduction, Kitty is a type of girl who seems like a popular girl in real life who can tight a big group of friends together, she must be like to be in the center of attention. Dorian is a kind guy who knows when to show politeness and when not, politeness can be stiff if it's overused. For the other two, they didn't talk much, yet their action speaks louder than any words. Despite saber rough look, it seems that Saber has a soft spot with Kitty, well he can't disagree with that, Kitty is cute especially the fluffy tails she has.
In conclusion everyone here has a good nature, except maybe Saber who is not all that good of nature but still the type of guy who can be depends on. He heard a glimpse of weird statement comes out from Kitty;
'Oh you are the newest member of Ephemeral Solace...'
Kitty deliver that sentence towards himself, he can't think how she can make a wrong conclusion about that. Everyone can see their guild on the interface alongside with names and levels stuff. He pondering, is it necessary for him to correct
'i am sorry Kitty, but i am not a member of Ephemeral Solace, i think you have mistaken me with someone else. I am the newest member of Noihara, as you can see on my interface'
He decide to tell her, when she goes in to a store full of.. hmm if i remember it called as trinkets, his little sister has a collections of it in real life. He took of his jacket, the store feels comfy and warm, he don't want to get any sweaty. He let his jacket flung on his shoulder. This kind of place is like a heaven for the progesterone race (meanings: female), they could emptied their wallet to just buy these 'cute' stuff which he can't comprehend until now what fall to 'cute' category and what is not. For all his matter, the one and only that could fall to cute category is bunnies and fluffy things. An elegant cup with beautiful carving on it that will served as drinking tea partner can be count as 'cute' too i think.
'So Saber..That is your name right? what is your relation with Kitty, you seems like comfy around her' He decided to make a small chit-chat with the assassin, he browse the gallery of the store. He is hoping he can found a gift for 'someone' he mention before. Now he has already have a picture who this 'someone' will be. It will be his sister and everyone here for showing gratitude.
He glance at a blue smiling kitten hairpin at the box of full of hairpin, he takes it out from the box and examine it. 'Celine will love this, i think' He though himself, he put it back to its place and continue his browse. He will buy that hairpin if he can't find any better.
Now he need to think what will make Dorian, Sayha, Saber, and Kitty would like to get a gift. Maybe something small and practical, a decoration might be a good idea. For the foxtail he probably will give her an ornament for her sword, sakura's symbol will probably alright. For dorian, probably some sort of statue ornaments. As for the two other it would be difficult to decide.
Well he decide to choose it by before they go separate way.
'is there any music store nearby? i have something want to buy' he shouts to no particular person in the group
