Katarina was bored. Kind of a sad thought, really. After all, she had just finished exploring a brand new dungeon Dumah had found, and it was only a few days ago her soul was trapped in the cave of dreams by Fenrir. After all that excitement, you'd think Kat would want to just relax for a bit, but no. Kat was a Noiharan to the core, always lusting for adventure and discovery. She'd leave a mark on this world even if it killed her. Which it would probably do. Many, many times.
Anyway, getting back to the main point of all this, Kat was bored, which lead her to the situation she was currently in; standing around the streets of Londinium dropping in on any conversation that sounded like it could be related to questing. Unfortunately though, she didn't really hear anything of the sort. Few bits of gossip here and there, a lot of people talking about Christmas, but nothing to write home about. Kat sighed. And here she was hoping to hear something about the sages. Everyone seemed to be going crazy over those robed people a while back, and now it seems like everyone's just focusing on their own events. It really was a shame, she was kind of interested in them. Plus, they were constantly handing out quests to adventurers, so that was always a plus. Kat turned to face the Cathedral looming overhead. She supposed maybe Dumah might want her for something-
"Hey, you heard about the sages?"
...Oh, you're kidding me. 'I should complain about not getting quests more often, it always seems to work!' she thought to herself giddily. This was some crazy cosmic coincidence and she loved it. Turning to face the direction the voice had come from, she spotted a tall man talking to a Dwarf.
"'Course I have!" the Dwarf said, grinning slightly. "Honestly, who 'asn't at this point? You're a little late to the party, Derek!"
The other man, an Elf, frowned. "Oh come on, man, I keep telling you to refer to me by my username..." he complained, before smiling slightly. "But yeah, the sages are planning on holding a public conference at the square later in the day. I'm kind of interested, you in?"
Kat grinned. Y'know, for how bad her luck was normally, she always seemed to have it pretty good whenever she was alone. Huh. Odd. Anyway, a conference in the large garden square? Welp, she's sold. Time to head to the square.
...She sighed as she realised she left before the two could actually tell her when it was. Drat. Well, she supposed she had to just play the waiting game then.
