Appearance So, what does Rampart look like you ask? Well, his attire is pretty simple really. He prefers to wear a tattered sleeveless black shirt with tears where the sleeves originally were. A set of black pants with bandages wrapped around the lower section of his abdomen/upper portion of his waist. To finish off his preferred attire he wears a simple pair of black tabi with bandages being revealed around his ankles. Oh, and lets not forget the bandages around his forehead. So you know what his attire preference is like, but physically how is he shaped? Well, Rampart is a solid 5'3. He weighs roughly 130 pounds and maintains a very lean yet muscular frame. His magnificent black spiked hair meshes well with his edgy black clothes. His eyes, red symbolizing rage and aggression. Oh and the final pieces to his ensemble is the black dragon tattoo that covers most of his right arm and the bandages that he keeps on both his right and left arm. | Personality What is Rampart like as a person you ask? Well, that's a pretty simple explanation. Much like any male Rampart is a complex person, he has a variety of emotions and can sometimes be pretty conflicted when it comes to making a decision. But, he is human after all and humans are very emotional creatures, for the most part that is. As for his personal quirks and such. Rampart is a pretty laid back and collected individual. He spends most of his time keeping to himself. He doesn't have a problem making friends or even going out with them. He just chooses to keep to himself. When it comes to gaming, Rampart becomes an all new person. He finds himself to be much more open when he is online playing with friends. Raiding, pvping and dungeoning brings out the utmost excitement from him. He just loves every aspect the the game world and finds its beauty to far exceed that of the real world. Thus why he spends all his time gaming if possible. As far as other quirks go, he can be vulgar, perverted, and even a bit snarky. But for the most part he is a pretty chill guy and can be the nicest person you will meet. |

Biography
Outside of the game, Rampart had a rather enjoyable life. Growing up his family had a decent amount of wealth. He always had anything he ever asked for thus growing up was pretty easy as a kid. But once he hit middle school life became not so great. People kicked on him for his size and physique. Although he was great at sports and took martial arts he just didn't feel like he fit in very well with everyone. Although he did have his small group of friends that he would occasionally hang out with. As he got older he spent more and more time playing games and less time hanging out with people he knew from school. This was followed by an accident where Rampart was struck by a vehicle on his way to school one morning. After waking in the hospital he was told he had severe damage to his legs and would be stuck using a wheel chair for the rest of his life. This change in his life caused Rampart to seclude himself for a long time. He now spends all his time playing games in his room instead of hanging out with people he knows.
Once Rampart managed to get online he became a completely different person. Managing to make many friends, join guilds, do quest together and just have a generally enjoyable time talking to the people he met online. Life in Elder Tale is excellent for him. He gets to experience the beautiful world he has always loved combined with meeting some of his online friends. He believes Elder Tale will bring a new era to his life and that he will be able to experience gaming like he never has before.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Monk
Bullet Punch:
The user enters a frenzy by launching multiple punches after another, each punch launched at a faster than usual rate without losing very much momentum from a regular punch. The only disadvantage is that the user's arms are locked into performing this punching animation for four seconds straight, preventing them from doing anything else until the animation has completed. This skill has an animation time of 4 seconds (each individual punch has an animation time of 0.5 seconds) and triggers a global cooldown during its animation, where no other skills may be used until the animation is resolved. When performed while Ironrhino Stance is active, the Monk takes 25% less damage from attacks during this skill's animation.

Tiger Echo Fist: The user punches the ground, unleashing a powerful shockwave that damages nearby enemies and sends them flying. The effect is obviously variable depending on the targets' size and weight. Due to the noticeable nature of this skill, it is also an excellent technique to draw enemy aggro. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. When performed while Manawyrm Stance is active, this skill attracts 25% more aggro.
Wyvern Kick: The user takes to the sky by performing a high jump of up to 5 meters, then kicking down toward a target. Often, the monk will then perform another jump to maintain the height advantage. This skill is particularly taken by monks for its vaulting properties. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds. When performed while Manawyrm Stance is active, this skill deals 10% more damage and aggro. When performed while Nighthawk Stance is active, the Monk's maximum jump height is 10 meters and this skill's cooldown is reduced to 4 seconds.
Roleplay Class: Berserker
Outrage: In times of desperation, the Berserker's physical abilities start to shine. When the Berserker's HP falls below 25%, their damage output increases by 5%. When the Berserker's HP falls below 10%, their damage output increases by 10% instead.
Crafting Class: Blacksmith
Heatsink: Blacksmiths are able to wear chain armor without penalties if they are normally unable to wear chain armor. They are able to wear plate armor without penalties if they are normally able to wear chain armor but not plate armor. Also a toggle skill. Through their skills at working around a forge, blacksmiths have developed a slight tolerance toward heat. They take reduced damage of 10% from fire-based attacks.
