Appearance Shiroaki, while in game, exudes confidence. He walks, talks, and acts with confidence. He's medium build, and has a square face, with a singular scar across the bridge of his nose. His hair is pulled into a top knot, in traditional samurai style, when in public, however while in his own house, he keeps it down, about shoulder length. He has an athletic build, and large, round, observant eyes, the color of murky water. He wears blue robes, that are lose fitting, and always has his katana on his hip in public, always weary of attacks. He has tanned skin, and a beard that frames his face, and is close cropped. However, the Shiroaki, out of game, is a completely different person. He has close cropped hair, big glasses, and is constantly nervous, and always anxious. His skin is pale from lack of sunlight, due to him working a night shift, and playing video games all the time. He wears normal clothes, and is skinny, lacking muscle, but his fast metabolism keeps most excess fat off of his body. He has no facial hair, and light blue eyes, his nose is crooked from it being broken multiple times in his childhood, and he prefers to wear sneakers. | Personality Shiro is very introverted in real life. He stays home, or he goes to work. He talks to people if required at work, but he never gives any more information than necessary. Most people don't know his birthday, or even remember his last name. He passes unnoticed most times, and has little acquaintances, and even less friends. Most of his life is spent on the internet. In game, Shiro is neither extroverted nor introverted, he just is, he plans every battle carefully, and is dangerously competitive. In game, he feels he has little to fear, and on the inside, has a burning desire to make friends. He is charismatic in game, and normally takes the lead for his parties. He plans to not only become the strongest Samurai, but also the strongest Adventurer. He grinds as much as possible, to achieve this goal, and has a strong work ethic to match. He rarely gets burnt out, but when he does, he can be found trying to find something to eat. His true weakness is that his entire character in game is a façade, and he fears that this might eventually show itself, and that someone might discover that he is truly a coward in real life. He values honesty, and is honest with everyone, whether they are honest with him or not. |

Biography
TRIGGER WARNING
Shiroaki was born, like all people, to two parents. However, to call them parents would be a stretch. Discipline was common in this household, and it was used, frequently, and physically. The youngest memory Shiroaki has was his father hitting him, and his mother scolding him. As he got older, the abuse got worse. Physical from his father, and verbal from his mother. He grew to consider himself useless, to undervalue himself. Who could ever care for him? All he was, was a burden. Why else would his hard working parents, who clothed him, fed him, sent him to school, and provided a roof over his head treat him the way they were treating him. Everything he did was wrong. How could he be so lazy? How could he be so stupid? He grew up half-believing he was adopted. That would explain the differences between his parents and him, how he could be so horrendous, and how his parents were just so..great. Love was an unfamiliar thing to Shiroaki, and happiness was a far fetched fantasy, something that other people had only because they deserved it, and it was something he clearly didn't deserve. He suffered through this horrendous nightmare for eighteen years, until he was able to get a job. Wow, someone actually hired me. Were his thoughts when he found this out. He moved out, got his own apartment, and started working nightshift. Shiroaki had been reading about this game, Elder Tale, where he could create a character, and essentially escape from reality. Something he desperately needed to do. Video games were something new to him, when he first thought about buying it, he of course imagined how disgusted his parents would be at his new found hobby. He bought the game for himself, and logged in, on December 11th, and his fantasy, the hero he needed to save himself from his childhood and his own fears, was created, and his life changed.

CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: SAMURAI
Ace Move: Bushi Chousen (Samurai's Challenge)
Chain 1 Defensive. When used, resets any current Chain to 0. If an opponent performed an attack on you between this turn and your next turn, raise your Chain by 1. A move often used to start the battle. The Samurai issues a valiant taunt toward all enemies in the immediate area, challenging them to take up arms in a grand duel of honor. The animation of this skill is somewhat flashy and when it was a game, there were even videos of fandubs speculating what the samurai might have said. Needless to say, it carries on in this game too. This skill generates a high amount of aggro when used early on in a fight, an amount which decreases gradually over time. This skill has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Ace Move: Denkosekka (Lightspeed)
Chain 1 Defensive. Starts or resets the current Chain. The activation of Denkosekka covers the samurai in a electrifying aura, raising the user's movement speed. This aura is also used as a makeshift barrier that can absorb some damage from a single hit before dissipating. However, the samurai must be sure not to stray too far from their party while this ace move is active, lest they risk collapsing the party formation. This skill has a maximum duration of 15 seconds and a cooldown of 25 seconds.
