Brave adventurers,
Soon you shall embark upon a journey that will change the course of history. Your history, your life. There is no princes to be saved, no dragons to be slain, yet there are riches to be found. Go forth and make merry, go forth and become a team. Dangers you shall face, dangers you must overcome lest you perish. To unlock the door you must find the key. To find the key you must solve the puzzle.
This task will serve as your test, a test to show your skill and wits. It will show you how to work as a team, there is no I. I, just as the Roman numerical for one, stands alone. Alone you will perish, but together with a brother or sister you can take on the world. Good luck. - Bailin
You and your party find yourselves in some ruined castle. Across the courtyard lay stone statues strewn across. Some have fallen from the walls, others have been conquered and overgrown by plants and weeds. Upon closer inspection you can see that each statue has a unique picture carved upon it. There is one with a monkey, holding its hands over its ears. Another statue depicts a dog, holding a paw against its nose. Another shows a monkey holding its hand over its eyes. A third one shows a cat placing a paw upon a captured mouse. The fourth one show a goblin, a hand holding a pouch. Yet another statue shows another monkey, this one holding its hands before its mouth. A statue with something that once resembled a humanoid, now to faded to recognize holds a loaf of bread in one hand, pointing to what once was its mouth with the other. The weirdest statue of all though, would have to be the one with two eyes, just two eyes, glancing with pure evil. Whomever the artisan was, his or her skill was undeniable.
At the entrance where once stood the front door now stands a large, stone wall. The walls however show no windows, and at night it would very much give the castle the appearance of a tomb. However, when you approach the stone wall a face flows to life from the wall. With a large yawn and gentle smile the stone face looks upon you and speaks: “Who awakens me from my slumber? To pass through me you shall answer me questions three.”
Giving you some time to think the face pauses for a few seconds before it continues:
“What is your purpose? What is your favorite color? What is the password?”
