It is for such reason that he has black hair, short but messy, and is in dire need of a hair cut, and has inherited his father's blue, iridescent eyes. They are big and round, though obscured by a pair of bulbous glasses. He has pale, soft skin that's hardly seen the sun due to the time he spends in doors. It is also this same reason that Akira, in real life, is rather chubby and short. He hardly does exercise, so his physique is predominantly round on the belly, with a pudgy stature. Akira has no problem seeing his feet, though reaching down on them is a different matter. His legs are slightly longer, which compensates for shorter arm length. Worldμ World takes on the appearance of a female avatar from the Half-Alv race. She is exactly the same height as Akira in real life, though she's much slimmer than him. The Sorceress has big, pale aquamarine eyes and hair of the same color. It is styled short with bangs on both side of her face that are neatly tied up to prevent them from getting in the way. Unlike Akira, Worldμ has lightly tanned caramel skin, in contrast to Akira's pale features. Although starting off with rather plain clothes, Akira plans to make World wear clothes as skimpier as possible. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Akira comes off as the quiet type of person; someone whom you'd think was in deep thought. He won't speak unless spoken to or in the middle of discussion and if given the choice of being alone or in a group, he'd preferably choose the latter. The young "sorceress" is much more comfortable in her own skin when she's by herself than with others, simply because her RL body. Akira hates his outward appearance, and though he didn't start out that way, the roots run too deep now for him to change. He finds it less tedious to spend time on his own, both physically and psychologically, only because he needs to constantly lie about his gender to others. In his solitude, the gender-closeted sorcerer has learnt to observe his surroundings, down to the smallest details. He likes to observe people, study their mannerisms, habits, personalities, and their deepest most secrets. It is one of his/her favorite, albeit annoying, pastimes. Despite this, however, Akira dislikes being observed in return, or to talk about himself for that matter. But Akira is honest about opinions of himself and others as well, which is quite a dangerous thing for someone who hides one too many secrets, because he can become quite careless with his words. Akira often hurts others or insults them unknowingly by revealing faults about them. He does this unknowingly, as a process of getting to know someone. Again, because he lacks basic social skills and knowledge on social norm, getting close to someone enough for Akira to perform this test puts a strain on any relationship he begins. It may be possible that he does this to test people's loyalties. Whether it is on quests or menial tasks, Akira likes to be precise and thorough, which owes to his extremely cautious nature. He is a "Sorceress" who likes to be in control of things, and likes things in order. A place for everything and everything in it's place. Irritation takes over when this doesn't happen however, and he won't stop until things are "right" again. His bordering OCD syndrome shows a rather stubborn personality as well. Once he's set his mind on something, it takes quite a lot of persuasion or bribery before he does, also showing a somewhat simple mindset. Unless necessary or cornered, Akira is also someone who would rather run to fight another day. Or fight to run away. Surprisingly, Akira shows a emotionally driven style when fighting, and is somewhat impatient to get the job done. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Akira's life has been a constant battle against his father's approval, as well as himself. Prior the introduction of Elder Tale on his life, Akira used to be a pushover, and a "people-pleaser". He always made himself live up to people's expectations, specially his father, who used to be in the Military, but was dismissed due to terminal injuries, rendering him unable to walk. More importantly, with a Japanese father, discipline was very strict in the house, as opposed to her mother, who is an American nurse. School through out his childhood was very uneventful. At least, that's how Akira made it out to be. He never told his parents how dreadful it felt not to be able to join clubs, always strive to get perfect scores, or how he always had to go straight home and never play. But more importantly, there was no way he was going to be able to tell his father how he had developed a liking to boys. He developed an addiction to online RPG games as soon as he hit junior high. It was the most liberating experience for someone like him. Nights of pretending to do homework were spent eloquently in several online games. His favorite games allowed him to play as a female character, something which gave him a lot of confidence, though it did get tiring having to lie to your friends online. It was incredible how much fun he had while masquerading as a girl, although he still couldn't go all the way to make friends, specially when they requested to meet up in person. He always had to back out at the last minute. Akira developed several habits, one of which became an expertise in lying to his family. Akira was first introduced to Elder Tale while in an exchange program in London, Britain. As always, Akira chose to play as a girl, though he never expected to follow through the decision when he clicked on "Accept". It would be one of those games where he would just enjoy the attention, and then disappear when things got too risky. However, the Catastrophe hit, there was no turning back for him anymore. However, it remains a quite popular strategy among those who willingly sacrifice stability and defense for a little boost in DPS. It is such that Swashbucklers are primarily the class type that specializes in dual-wielding and thus has the most compatible skills for this purpose. The Ambidexterity skill passively lifts the dual-wielding penalty from equipping two one-handed weapons or two shields. This skill does nothing for a Swashbuckler, since they already possess a beginner skill which does the same purpose. SORCERER [attr="class","skill"][Tier I] Icicle Impale: Elemental enchantment. The Sorcerer enchants a weapon with the ice element, causing it to glow blue and seemingly crystallize as though it were encased in ice. If an opponent's weapon makes direct contact with the enchanted weapon at this time, it will freeze and become more difficult to wield, lowering the opponent's attack speed. Likewise, if the enchanted blade comes in direct contact with the opponent's body, the opponent will be slowed for a little while. This skill has a casting time of 4 seconds, a duration of 300 seconds, and a cooldown of 60 seconds. If this skill is used on a weapon that is already affected by an elemental enchant, the previous elemental enchantment is overwritten. [attr="class","skill"][Tier I] Inferno Strike: Elemental enchantment. The Sorcerer enchants a weapon with the flame element, causing it to glow red and release occasional small embers. A target struck by the weapon at this time can be ignited with a Burn status effect, causing minor damage every time the character attacks or uses an active skill for 10 seconds. Because of the direct hit necessary to activate this skill, it is a slightly risky strategy. This skill has a casting time of 4 seconds, a duration of 300 seconds, and a cooldown of 60 seconds. If this skill is used on a weapon that is already affected by an elemental enchant, the previous elemental enchantment is overwritten. SCRIBE [attr="class","skill"]Transcription: Scribes are known for their ability to copy and examine documents carefully. This allows them to obtain the Adventurer skill [Mythic Script] as a Beginner-level skill without it taking up a skill slot. Their knowledge also allows them to use and read grimoires in the Ancient Text, allowing them to use grimoires without penalties and perform some basic magic attacks depending on their Magic stat. If the character can already use grimoires through racial or class bonuses, grimoire damage increases by 10%. GUNSLINGER [attr="class","skill"]Outlaw: Toggle skill. Gunslingers have an affinity with firearms, allowing them to use firearms without penalty if their main class is normally not able to wield firearms. When Outlaw is toggled, the Gunslinger will see the remaining number of bullets in their current magazine and the total amount of bullets remaining in their inventory, displayed at a corner of their vision. If the firearm is empty and requires reloading, the number will be displayed in red.
