Appearance Cliff and his Avatar "Daggerfel" share many of the same physical features, from their height of 6'2" to their face. His hairstyle remains much the same as his real-world self, portrayed in that disheveled 'morning' look, even including the white hair he possessed in real life. While in real life he was pretty much restricted to wearing nothing but overalls with a cotton shirt and steel-toe boots made specifically for work around the farm. However here in this world, Dagger was dressed in the style Cliff had always wanted to wear himself, which consisted of goggles, a cloak, a fur hat with a fancy outfit and armor-like boots. | Personality Daggerfel is the kind of person who would look at a situation and analyze as many details as possible before fully acting. This is why he chose the Samurai class, allowing him to perform complicated attacks based on the situation. Combined with his intense desire to learn and study, is an introverted personality from years of work on the farm. As such he does prefer areas that could be considered 'tranquil' or 'lonesome', though this doesn't mean he will avoid all social activites, he just takes them in smaller doses. Another reason he tends to avoid groups is the general view on his particular brand of 'brutal honesty'. Due to his rather, lacking, experience in dealing with most people beyond his family and the farming community he resided in, Cliff is a trusting individual, though he does tend to come up with plans just in case anything does go wrong. Combined with his trusting nature is a friendly attitude, happy to greet anyone he comes across with a smile and a friendly southern greeting. When it comes to parties, he's willing to lay himself on the line in order to protect those who need to be protected, both of out loyalty to his friends and dedication to the plan of attack. |

Biography
Cliff was a simple guy really, doing what everyone else did when they turned his age, going to college. His interests laid in general sciences, with a slight focus on chemistry for starters. He dreamed of a day when he could turn his attention to something grand, like Astrophysics. Of course, that was just a dream, since he'd always been told he'd never amount to anything. That wasn't going to stop him, the fact that he couldn't handle the work required for Astrophysics would.
He'd grown up on a farm, taking the bus every morning to school, doing what he could to be more than 'that farmer's boy'. Due to his family's lifestyle, you'd never expect that he'd somehow find himself trapped inside a game, but Cliff's friends had helped him find a love for video games, especially those like Dark Souls and Ultimate Fighter. So, it was just a matter of bad, or maybe good, luck that just so happened to let Cliff use his friend's computer just before everyone got brought into the game. Wasn't that big of a deal though, he was just a little too happy to be free from farm chores, if only for a little while.

EQUIPMENT
Left Arm | Armor Starter Platemail: A basic set of plate armor made from cheap iron. They are not really too protective, but they are better than going naked—probably. You probably do want to replace these asap, when you think about it. | Right Arm Starter Zweihander: A modification of the longsword, making it a powerful yet heavy and somewhat unwieldy weapon in the hands of beginners. A starter weapon designed for novice adventurers, made out of cheap iron. It is well-balanced and easy to use but doesn’t hit particularly hard at all. You probably should get this replaced as soon as you can. |
Accessory #1 Mechanic's Sight: Level 1 Accessory A pair of goggles consisting of a plain black band of leather that ties at the back with a single silver gear just to the side of the left lens. | Accessory #2 Leave blank | Accessory #3 Leave blank |

Vanity #1 Constant Motion: Level 30 Vanity Wear An outfit made almost entirely out of white leather, save for the cloak. The shirt and pants feature multiple belts with golden buckles for creating the perfect fit although a white frill lowered from the collar covers up most of the upper chest. The main belt features a large leather pad held in place by a smaller sash, allowing the wearer to keep their pants on without being uncomfortable. The pants are basic white leather with belts around the thighs. The boots and gloves, while appearing to be made of colored metal, are in fact hardened leather plates. The thigh-high boots can be broken down into two pieces, the knee-guards which feature a white fur-lining at the top and the actual boots which appear to be made of criss-crossing leather straps with a top flare that is flipped down and split at the front of the knee. A simple leather plate provides another 'armor-like' appearance to the front of the boot. The cloak that completes the outfit sports a fur-lined collar and detachable fur hat. The inner portion of the cloak is a dark brown while the outside is a light tan, accented with a red border than keeps the tan separated from the green edge of the cloth. | Vanity #2 Leave blank | Vanity #3 Leave blank |
CLASS SKILLS
Main Class: Samurai
Bushido: Iaido (Art of the Draw): Passive. Samurai have a honed and disciplined mind. Their visualization and training enable their first strike when their katana is drawn from the sheath to deal additional damage and threat. A Samurai is granted a free Iaido strike before performing a Chain 1 ability or after completing a Chain 3 or higher ability. This skill can only activate once per chain. This strike does not break the chain, allowing the Samurai to perform a skill in the same turn.
Ace Move: Youkaigiri (Spectral Slash): Chain 1 Offensive. Starts or resets the current Chain. This Samurai skill coats the Samurai's weapon or a single projectile with a bright cyan glow. Upon contact with the first inanimate object it meets, such as a thin wall or tree, the weapon or projectile will phase through the object and deal no damage to it. The glow will fade away and the weapon or projectile will then continue onward without changing in velocity. An affected weapon or projectile may only phase through an inanimate object with a maximum thickness of 0.5 meters. Opponents' weapons and equipped armor are unaffected by this skill, but the effect is not used up should the affected weapon make contact with an opponents' equip. Additionally, this skill allows the target to hit Spirit-type monsters with a Physical resistance of Null as though its physical resistance was reduced by 1 stage. This skill has a casting time of 3 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Ace Move: Mawarufuusen (Whirlpool Spin): Chain 2 Offensive. Usable after Chain 1 skills. Mawarufuusen is performed by lifting the weapon above the user's head and spinning it around like a helicopter propeller. This causes a manipulation of the air surrounding the user, pulling in any nearby opponents toward the user. As a result, nearby opponents' movement speeds are reduced if they target any character other than the samurai. This skill's attribute is wind, can be sustained up to 10 seconds, and has a cooldown of 30 seconds.
Ambidexterity: The mechanics of Elder Tale lightly discourage dual-wielding due to the reduced accuracy and proficiency with such a combat style. However, it remains a quite popular strategy among those who willingly sacrifice stability and defense for a little boost in DPS. It is such that Swashbucklers are primarily the class type that specializes in dual-wielding and thus has the most compatible skills for this purpose. The Ambidexterity skill passively lifts the dual-wielding penalty from equipping two one-handed weapons or two shields. This skill does nothing for a Swashbuckler, since they already possess a beginner skill which does the same purpose.
Ace Move: Seinaru Shinken (Divinity Slash): Chain 3 Offensive. Usable after Chain 2 skills. The user's mana swirls around their weapon as they lift it upward in preparation for an overhead strike. With an animation time of 3 seconds, the use of this skill is very distinctive and will throw most opponents into caution. However, after the animation is concluded, the weapon is slammed down at the ground, releasing a massive golden energy cutting wave forward, with a maximum range of three meters. This attack is concentrated in a minimal area, delivering massive damage to anyone foolish enough not to prepare for the attack. While inflexible, it is easily one of the most impressive Samurai techniques and is often used for dispatching of tanky enemies. This skill has a cooldown of 30 seconds.

Roleplay Class: Scholar
Evaluate: This skill allows the scholar to gain additional details about the enemy. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used. It has a one second cast time and one second cooldown time. The target's elemental weaknesses and a brief summary of their skills will be made available to the Scholar any time they access the target's interface.
Crafting Class: Mechanic
Disassembly: Toggle skill. Mechanics have a certain affinity with taking apart machines, so monsters that are mechanical in nature had better watch out. Mechanics deal 20% more damage to Machine-type monsters. They can also cancel buffs on Machine-type monsters upon a successful hit.
