[attr="class","capsol"] Another fine day, though hopefully this time, it wouldn't be anything quite like the last fine day she was on. Megumi had finally made her way out of the city, and decided that she would actually go ahead and give a quest a shot on her own. As much as she had disliked being involved with so many people the last time, it did serve as a way to solidify the fact that she was proficient enough with her blades. Another point that she may pride herself on, once she has the mountains of gold that she so craved at this point in time. She flipped her hair just slightly, thinking of how she would be able to purchase absolutely anything that catches her eye, and if people want to take it from her, they'd have to first live through her incredible talent as a swordswoman. The rapiers at her side clanked every so often, as she had begun to make her way out to the forestry, where hopefully nobody else would be at this point in time.
The reason that the woman was out here this day was simply to perform a quest, one which basically required her to be out on her own. Since there weren't any available solo quests, she found the next best thing. A quest that gave higher requirements, and higher rewards, for people in proximity of about 50 meters. This quest itself is designed for parties to gather together and fight monsters, so that they may all benefit from the experience and monetary rewards, at the end. It boggled the mind how these things were made, in the coding of this virtual world, she thought. Perhaps she would look into it, once this was all said and done with. Well, that would involve a large amount of effort and time to master the art of computer programming, and ultimately, she didn't want to go through another session of college just to understand why such a thing happened, and how. In the end, she decided against it, and let it live on, as it were already.
Now, Megumi wasn't a fan of most people in this world, as exemplified by the large gathering that had occurred around her not too long before. She was very close to going crazy, what with all the people and different accents that had been surrounding her, which she found to be especially annoying. The combative instance that the group of finely different people, preceded by the equally special social gathering which she was forcibly brought back into had all served to her benefit, in the end. However, that didn't mean it wasn't time-consuming and migraine-inducing. Having reluctantly played the cards that were dealt to her, she managed to make it through that period of time, making full use of the fact that there was a complete party structure to the whole group. Of course, none of them would have been able to deal quite as much damage as she, for Megumi was the only Damage-based one in the party, and her proficiency with two rapiers made its way to the forefront of the imaginary damage counter.
But of course, that was then, and this was now. Reopening the interface, which she admittedly still had yet to fully master, she scrambled her way through the many different windows, until she had managed to open where the quest's information was held. Her target was five Young Pittered Boars, which, if more people were around, would increase by 5 every time. She felt no remorse, for these tiny creatures, as they were simply lesser ones that had happened to exist in this same time and place. Little did they know, their meat would be perfect for making some rather simple dishes for Megumi to serve herself, on the road to becoming a better cook in this world, where original cooking technique and skill was otherwise ignored. In this world, it seemed numbers would be the key to being well off in this world. That only meant that Megumi would only need to increase all of her numbers to a sufficient enough point, so that she could make all sorts of money. Perhaps there would be some kind of a benefit to getting these levels, as they were, in a way that even she could appreciate. Being able to slash through enemies faster, and cook extravagant meals should garner much money in her life. With a smirk on her face for the fortunes that awaited her, Megumi continued along the path towards the target point, displayed on her heads-up display.

Another day, another hunt… or at least that was what the plan was. Hikari was looking forward to the excursions, but Yume was choosing to be lax… or maybe even asleep, it was hard to tell the difference with her. Nonetheless, hunting was on the ballot for the day. After the huge run-in with the five-person party, Marashi was glad to have taken a day or so off. She liked people just fine, but sometimes when there were just a lot of people and a lot of personality, you just needed a breather… and by personality, she instantly thought about the Lannister. She had been an interesting person to say the least… but she was still a Lannister.
Marashi got her mind off of the previous quest hunt and focused on what was going on around her. It was a bright and sunny day, and there were a lot of people out and about. She thought about checking out one of the quest bulletin boards but ended up deciding against it. She wanted to just go with the flow that day… maybe she’d even check out the shadowy forest later on.
As Marashi weaved her way through the city, she went over her plan in her head. Once she got a few levels on her main class, she wanted to make her own guild. She had been in many parties now, but nothing ever seemed to stick. A guild would mean that people would want to be there and stick around… and she would be needed. As much as she didn’t like it, she wanted to be needed or at least wanted. That, however, would take some time.
For now, Marashi was going to be content with checking out the plains and playing with some slimes and boars, solo more than likely. She passed many parties forming near the gates, but she chose to ignore them for now. Though she knew she earned a few glances. After all, she was the girl with the fiery hair while walking around barefooted. Some of her party members asked her how she could stand walking on rocks, but she just shrugged. They didn’t bother her any, especially after she got used to it again. It turned out that the feeling in her feet had come back after she was virtualized so she had to spend a day walking around on rocks, cringing. It was not an experience she wanted to repeat.
The rocks, now, didn’t bother her, and there weren’t too many around along the road from Londinium to Windsor Greatwood. There was, however, a familiar figure a bit in the distance from Marashi. It was the Swashbucker, Megumi, from the large group from before. Marashi figured she found a solo quest now…
“Ask her if she wants company!” Hikari exclaimed.
“Hikari…” Marashi sighed.
“What?” Hikari questioned, “You know it would be more fun than soloing a bunch of green slimes.”
At that moment, Yume yawned.
“Yume!” Hikari’s attention went to her sister, “Marashi should go ask Meguka if she wants company right?”
Yume yawned again, “Her name was Megumi, not Meguka. I’m going back to sleep…”
“Aww, Yume, stay awake!” Hikari whined.
“Hikari, let her be if she wants to sleep,” Marashi said quietly… just as she was getting ready to approach the Swashbuckler.
Marashi sighed before putting in effort to catch up to Megumi. “Fancy seeing you around here, Megumi,” Marashi said as she caught up to the girl, “You finally find that solo quest that you were looking for the other day?”

It had been nice to spend some time with Arcadia after all those people. It had been a great party over all but well sometimes you needed to explor on your own. She had been riding around most of the day, Arcadia and her had been exploring and just had a picnic in a nice spot. It was good to get to know the horse that she would depend on in combat. She had to get use to being in dangerous situations with her. After all it was going to be a long life at this rate and well she wanted to make sure she could protect those that mattered when it came to it. She had ignored the party requests and avoided the abandoned building that had been her little orphanage for the last two years. Jade needed to be alone for a bit.
Jade had never spent much time alone, she really didn't know what to do and that was what she wanted to try to fix, to learn how to be alone. She was always taking care of others or worrying about them, for once she didn't have any worries. She just needed to earn enough gold to keep her promise she had made to her little sister in the real world. Jade giggled at the thought, bee wings and an antenna head band. That was what she needed. Still she loved riding out her thought the forest was going to prove a problem, it had to be a forest she thought. Her platemail sounded with every gallop of Arcadia. She saw someone , no two someones in the distance and slowed down in time not to run them over. She patted Arcadia on the back of the neck. "Whoa girl, easy there easy there." She smiled and patted her some more, only looking up at the other two when she had calmed down Arcadia.
"Well if it isn't Marashi and Megumi, I have to say I didn't expect to find you two out here, It seems our paths were meant to cross.I hope I am not intruding on either of you, though if that is the case. I will be on my way if I am. " She said knowing that she should, she had come out her to be alone, but that didn't seem to be the case as she yearned to group up with the familiar faces. She would not stay and chat if not welcome but still, it was a nice day and she prepared to drop off of Arcadia if they wanted to talk. Instead she looked down at them from the back of her horse, built to carry an armed knight like herself. She was so glad she had taken the class she had. It was worth having the friend and the fun times on horseback, the wind on her face. It was far better than she had ever imagined. She wasn't use to the vantage that Arcadia gave her, now that she found herself looking down at her acquaintances.

[attr="class","capsol"] Still lost within her own thoughts, entertaining the idea of having hundreds of people doing the impossible for her in this world, gathering as much materials to forge the greatest of meals, Megumi had lost herself in her mind. She didn't even realize that the number of monsters that were needed to be destroyed had increased, only until a little while later. Even still, she was amidst her own desires for her to even begin to understand that she was no longer on her own. Having reached the target point, or just about to have done so, she wanted to wait for the monsters to come to her, rather than get all sweaty trying to chase some of them down. Still being a fairly low level helped out a lot, in that she didn't have to wait long for monsters to appear, challenging her for their own reasons. Of course, they knew not what they would be getting themselves into, as it would only serve to help her complete her goal, gain the materials to make delicious food, and then garner a sizable amount of income.
Her attention was soon twisted over towards the path that she had been coming from before, noticing a fairly familiar firey-haired girl. If she recalled correctly, this girl was named Marshie? Mojave? Mariachi? She spent a few seconds, and eventually the name to the face had found its way into her mind. Marashi, that was it. Megumi recalled this one being one of the more tolerable ones from the prior grouping that had taken place, and was actually glad that, of all people, it was her that had arrived. Heaven forbid it be that insufferable hulk once again. In either case, Megumi offered a light curtsy, and a response. "Well, I did happen to make sure I chose the right quest scroll for this one, if that is to count for anything." Her expression with this person was more normal, compared to how she dealt with many other people. "Though I do suppose that this shall not be as... Loud, as our last meeting, Miss Marashi." She joked, though only slightly. Her ears still rang from the last group that the two had been in.
As if summoned from the heavens themselves, the swift approaching sound of a horse coming down the path that the two of them had just come from. Atop said horse was the other girl from the previous meet and greet session. This one's name was much easier to remember, though, as it was a single syllable. Besides, it's very difficult to remember someone with the name June. It's such an easy name! She paused for a moment, realizing very quickly that the name was wrong. Jade. Jade! That was it. Jade. Yes. It seemed that she was along her own way for whatever reason, and one that Megumi would definitely not ask about. This one was also fairly tolerable, though she didn't know nearly enough about either of these two to give a definite judgment on their character, as was her wont. She offered a curtsy as well, since manners meant everything, even when meeting those whom you already knew. Either way, she listened as the girl spoke, only to wave a hand before herself.
"It is no trouble at all, dear." Megumi began, a smile spreading across her face. How nice it was to see someone who wouldn't so rudely include themselves on things that they didn't necessarily need to be in on. "I am merely here to complete a simple quest, so that I might gain some more experience and gold for my efforts. It just so happened Marashi was heading up this way, so we stopped and spoke for just a moment. How fortunate that you would be heading this way, too, Miss Jade!" At that point, her mouth began to run on without her realization, as she began to indulge the quest she was in. "The mission I am here for increases with the number of people around, as well as the rewards, so..." She caught herself, but was able to retain her composure somehow. On the inside, she was screaming. Why did she even think to mention that part!? That's basically an invitation for the two to join her for this, when she could just as easily clear out the monsters herself on her own, and then be done with it! She remained quiet from there, seemingly giving room for the other two to speak, but silently hoped that they would just move along on their own way. Nothing personal against the two girls, but Megumi would much rather complete this on her own.

Megumi gave Marashi a small curtsy after Marashi had caught up with the Swashbuckler. She explained that she had indeed taken the correct quest. She mentioned that it wouldn’t be as loud as it had before, and Marashi knew exactly who she was referring to. The Lannister… of course. She had been quite loud… maybe a bit obnoxious. Either way, it was pretty obvious last time that Megumi didn’t particularly care for her, and Marashi couldn’t blame her at all.
Almost right away, another person from the previous adventure appeared. It was Jade, one of the guardians, and her huge horse… Arcadia was its name if Marashi was thinking correctly. Jade was polite, and she asked if she was intruding on Marashi and Megumi’s conversation.
Megumi replied back that she wasn’t intruding at all. She continued to explain that she and Marashi had just run into each other because Marashi happened to be there. It was true, and there really wasn’t any need to add on so Marashi stayed silent for the time being… though Megumi continued on talking which Marashi thought was interesting. She explained that the quest she was on increases depending on how many people were around as did the rewards. Marashi was familiar with the quest type. She had done them many a times with her friends before the virtualization. It was always fun to do in a group and the larger the group the better. It meant that everyone got a decent amount of gold and items.
“I was actually planning on sticking around in the area,” Marashi said after a moment, “I was planning on going after slimes, but I would be up to helping you out with your quest. I’ve done them before, and it would be worth a lot more in the long range if you complete it as a party rather than solo it. If you and Jade are up to it, the three of us should be able to complete that quest pretty quickly then we can go back to doing our own things. What do you say Megumi? Jade?”
“This sounds like fun~!” Hikari cheered, “And we might get a decent amount of gold to start saving up.”
“What are we saving gold for again?” Yume yawned, waking up again.
“Um… good question!” Hikari responded cheerfully despite being confused, “Mara, what are we saving gold for again.”
Mara sighed under her breath, choosing not to answer Hikari at the moment. She didn’t want to make the other two think she was insane… though she technically was, but they didn’t necessarily need to know that at that very point in time.

"I would love to party with you Miss Kensgington and Marashi. I was just out for a ride with Arcadia, I have to get her use to being with me and near enemies. Isn't that right girl? " She padded Arcadia's back and assured her that all was well. A party to fight some creatures that gave them a better award for being in a party, that was something that Jade saw no problem in. She smiled as she observed the others, Megumi was polite as ever and Marashi was her usual silent self it seemed. She liked these two, they were some of the more tolerable members as even Jade had to admit that too much time with the loud one would grate her nerves. She looked to the others wondering where they needed to be for said quest or if they were in the right spot. It was no matter, Jade was proactive and sent out the party requests. She wasn't sure if it mattered who was leader, they were really just doing this quest together for the rewards so it didn't seem like it would. If asked she would transfer leadership right away as she had no want to fight the other two. "It is fortunate that we all ended up here, the quest will give much better rewards now. Where do we need to be for it?" She asked watching out for any creatures that might be spawning, if they were already at the location.
Jade was glad that she had run into them, she had just been spending time with Arcadia and it was nice but she couldn't fool herself she was a people person and thus was now much happier. Her armor clanked and she pulled out her shield, and would grab her spear the moment it was needed. She really needed to get a new shield and a lance. But that was a matter for another time. Instead she looked at the other two, realizing that it was going to be common to be so much higher up than the others. It was weird to look down at them, from the height of her young but huge horse, built to support someone with as much weight as her armor caused. It was funny how even though she wasn't very big in the real world, in this world she could carry her huge shield and a giant spear while wearing this platemail armor. It was quite a feat if you thought about it. She did wish that armor could be cuter however. She also needed to get those beewings that she had promised her little sister. Jade distracted her self, she couldn't get sentimental about her family. Not now, they had things to fight and while one could revive she didn't feel like tempting fate. She didn't trust the system as she had never experienced it. Jade didn't want to die if she didn't have to. It was better to not tempt fate in her book.

[attr="class","capsol"] As if to completely correct her, the two that she had met up with and accidentally spilled the details about her quest to took the opportunity, and before much longer, invitations to a party had already been passed out. Feeling as though she really should get a muzzle for herself, so that she wouldn't accidentally say what it is that she would be up to at all times, as is one of her own personal faults, she's beginning to understand, she withheld a grunt. It wasn't like her to be part of a group, when considering most things, but it also wasn't wise to ignore help as it comes along. Besides, she had no personal detrimental feeling towards these two. In all actuality, she preferred Jade and Marashi to be the people she would just so happen to run into, as compared to any of the other people she had already met in her time in this world. Heaven forbid the hulking female arrive and cause all sorts of ruin.
But, that was neither here nor there. She did, however, accept the party invitation. It would be foolish of her to turn it down, especially with these two being here and willing to lend a hand. Sure, it increased the number of monsters, but the rewards were just about the same. Sure, it may take longer, but it wouldn't be a waste. "Well, we shouldn't need to move far, if at all." Megumi began, speaking softly to the two. "The target point for this mission is right here, and I would assume that that means there would be targeted opponents in the vicinity. For the record, said opponents would be Young Pittered Boars, and now that the three of us are here, we must defeat a grand total of 15. If you two are okay with that, then we can begin in earnest." At that moment, Megumi looked up and straight ahead at one of the trees, and noticed something sticking out. It looked to be a snout of some kind, but she wasn't sure at first...
Soon after, the snout had revealed to be one of the targets. Reaching quickly for the weapons at her side, Megumi flourished them and readied for battle. "Perhaps we don't have to move at all!" She exclaimed, lunging forward towards the beast. It seemed that the two would make a head-on collision, but instead, the Swashbuckler engaged the skill [Fold Step] to dash a small distance to the diagonal side of the monster, quickly impaling her left rapier into the monster's skin, dealing minor damage. The act threw the monster off a little bit, but she already had a plan in her mind for what to do next. Spinning around quickly, Megumi slashed downward at the smaller animal, before hopping to the side, as it made a leaping attack at her. Able to avoid that one attack, she followed up with another one of her skills, [Mirage Dealer], and rose her arms up above herself in a slashing-X maneuver, before she disappeared from the boar's sight. Confused slightly, it didn't look behind itself.
Behind it, there was Megumi, who had vanished and reappeared on the opposite side. She delivered two very quick downward slashes, before jumping back. She had a feeling the monster would retaliate by springing up at her, like the slimes had during that last time, but instead it simply went to turn around slowly. Seemed the damage she had been applying was starting to get to it. Of course, how could she not get a little cocky about that concept? However, she didn't look behind herself, as another young boar had made its way behind her, and rammed into her back, causing her to lose balance. She stumbled forward, only to very quickly realize that she was now cornered between the boar she fought before, and two more than had appeared behind her. She growled slightly, noticing that she had lost a little bit of HP. She didn't want to call out for help, since she felt she could take on three, especially since one was injured already. Speaking of which, she needed to get herself to a decide vantage point. She fell back a little ways, so that the monsters were all diagonal from her in two different directions. At least, like this, she wouldn't be prone to being attacked from behind. Returning to her stance, she stared down the monsters, waiting for their next move.

No one seemed to notice Marashi sigh under her breath which was at least a positive thing. Jade seemed to be all for the party quest and working with Megumi… well Jade and Arcadia. A two-for-one type deal. It worked… though now was the question whether Megumi would actually want them around. After a moment, Megumi did accept the party invitation. Jade asked how much further they would have to go to get to where they needed, and Megumi responded saying that it wouldn’t be far at all, explaining that the target point was not too far away. The quest was to kill a grand total of 15 Young Pittered Boars. That was simple enough.
Marashi was going to ask about party positions and jobs just as Megumi said that they wouldn’t need to move at all. “Target ahead,” Yume echoed Megumi’s response, and Marashi’s hand went to the rapier that was hanging around her waist. However before Marashi had a chance to respond, Megumi went head-first and began to attack. She was fiery, that was a given. Though not as fiery as Marashi’s hair.
“Jade, go around the back when you’re attacking and keep an eye out for any more enemies,” Marashi said, already noticing that at least one other boar had joined the one Megumi was attacking, “If any more appear, call out.”
Marashi then headed towards where Megumi was. She had been hit from behind by the second boar that had appeared. Marashi targeted the second boar. Once she was within a few yards, Marashi activated <Leaping Apricot Technique>, jumping to be next to Megumi while leaving behind a smell of apricots. Once she landed, Marashi activated <Exorcism of a Cursed Lotus> to make a barrier around her appear. She stabbed forward at the second boar to draw its attention away from Megumi. Marashi knew her attacks weren’t as powerful as Megumi’s but they were enough to get the attention of the boar.

Jade was glad to hear that they were already in the location but that meant that the things had been spawning, so who knew how many there were at the moment. She wasn't sure what triggered the next wave if what Megumi had said was true, with how with more people there were more boars. She knew that she couldn't stay on Arcadia long, the young horse was still too skittish to do much other than get her there. She would have to work on that, which is what she was here doing after all. The horse needed to trust Jade when it came to a fight and know that she was there to defend her. So far it had mostly ended up with Jade on her butt and Arcadia no where to be found but today had been promising. She had manged to jump in time to let Arcadia just flee on her own.
Jade listened to Marashi's orders as Megumi ran out fighting them all on her own. Jade knew that she needed to get out there and attrack the attention, she could take it, while they had less health and armor than her. Jade smirked and nudged Arcadia on, noting that her horse already didn't like the idea of charging the boars but Jade guided her stead steadily around them. She noted some more boars were going at the others and she sped up Arcadia, making full use of her mounts speed to ram her spear straight into one of the boars as she dropped of her horse knowing very well that Arcadia would spook far to easily in a fight with this many boars, she let the horse run off. She landed with a thud, her spear had scored a nice hit on the boar but jade now found herself between a couple boars, and the boars that already were fighting Marashi and Megumi.
This made Jade smirk as she shouted, activating her skill [Anchor Howl] A soundwave erupted and an area encompassing the boars was effected. If they tried to run from the sound they would be damaged, Regardless their movement speed was lowered. She smirked and held her shield and spear with pride as she began to attack as many boars as she could, drawing their attention to her. She was the guardian after all. It was her job to keep everything trained on herself She wasn't sure if the boars attacking Megumi and Marashi would keep attacking them, if they did they would trigger the damage of her skill but if not then it was all the better as it would turn all the boars attention at herself.
Jade managed to block one hit with her shield but felt one hit her armor from the side as she grunted and yelled out to the other two. " Take them out while I distract them, I should be able to last." She mostly used her spear to keep attention, not really causing much damage. It was all she could do to use her large shield to defend herself as she found that they had circled her. That was fine, that meant their backs were to the two who could really hurt them.

[attr="class","capsol"] And so it was, that the other two had begun their fighting as well. Marashi went to join Megumi, while Jade and her gallant steed Arcadia had plunged themselves into the middle of another set of monsters. Marashi had called out the orders to Jade for the time being, which wouldn't be too much of a problem. Megumi didn't mind listening to someone else in this regard, especially when their difference in game skills was so vast. Soon afterwards, the smaller shoeless one had reached Megumi's side, and proceeded to take on the combative role as an aggro generator. All the while, Jade was off on the other side, having found her own set of monsters to deal with. She decided to keep those other ones occupied, whilst Megumi and Marashi dealt with the current ones. Megumi, realizing the situation, simply flipped her hair slightly, and a large grin appeared on her face, as smug as could be.
Extending her blades out to the sides, she struck a battle pose, before exclaiming to the other two. "I suppose now is a good a time as any! Allow me to show you the elegant dance of Tabitha Rosalin Kensington, Heiress of the Kensington Family Fortune!!" Raising one blade up in front of herself, she began to twirl for a moment, before slamming both her rapiers into the back of the monster that she had been dealing with before, ending it swiftly. Her body very quickly started to sway over towards the second boar, the one that had collided into her back, to which she proceeded to unleash a flurry of spinning slashes upon. Her attacks were in rhythm with her own beat, and the slices were in one, two groups at a time, she quickly realized how much aggro she was generating, and, since Marashi seemed to be doing most of the tanking for now, decided that she would leave that one be for now, and work on the next of the three that had been fighting them.
Megumi slammed both blades into the third boar that Marashi and Megumi had faced, weakening it a little bit, to which she followed up. Spinning around swiftly, Megumi stabbed both blades into the back of the same boar, and then ripped them out quickly. She looked to Marashi, the same confident smirk upon her face. "I'm sure you can finish them up over here, dear." With that, Megumi ran swiftly over towards the horse-rider, and her number of enemies. Raising the blades up a little ways, she twirled them so that they were both reverse-faced, the weapons extending along her arms. As she grew closer, she stopped right next to one of the boars, and slashed upwards at a diagonal, creating an X shape, to which she had vanished once more, behind the boar she was presently attacking. [Mirage Dealer] was definitely a useful skill to Megumi, allowing her to disappear to the opposite side of an enemy she was presently fighting. Her grin never left her, as she turned to slash at the monster once again.
Her blades collided with the skin, and she stabbed down into the boar, vaulting herself over it. She targeted the boar that Jade had been fighting before, and kicked it over and away. "Allow me!" She called to the Guardian, tearing the blades out of the first boar. Her goal was to weaken some of the boars, while taking care of some on her own. Following up on the one that she had just kicked away, Megumi surged forward to perform [Fold Step] once more, to close the gap between herself and the monster. Having kicked it away caused the extra damage from Jade's skill, weakening the monster significantly. With most of her main class skills being on cooldown, she only had her own moves to rely on. It would be easy to deal with, given the amount of health it had lost. Ignoring the other monsters for now, Megumi began a flurry of slices, cuts, and stabs into the boar, with the intent of whittling it down quickly. With each attack caused more of its health to drop rapidly, until finally, it had exploded into data. Feeling just a little tired after all of that, she turned around to keep an eye on her back. She wouldn't let another set of monsters surprise her. When she confirmed there weren't any more, she started to trot back towards the other two, ready to fight further if she needed.

The boar in front of Marashi seemed to be staring her down, getting ready to attack. She was just about to defend herself in preparation of the attack when Jade’s <Anchor Howl> went out. That was good… and Marashi had forgotten Jade was a Guardian which was bad on her part. On the plus side though, Jade would be able to take the attacks and the aggro from her and Megumi.
Megumi, however, seemed to be lost in the fight, calling out that she would show them the elegant dance of… whatever her name was. It was forever long, and Marashi chose to ignore it.
“She’s lucky we don’t just call her Meguka,” Hikari commented, making Marashi smirk.
“Let’s not push our luck,” Marashi said under her breath. Though that she didn’t need to do at all. Megumi’s sword dancing was quite good, and she was able to knock the nearby boards to a decently low health. Once she was done, Megumi told Marashi that she should be able to finish them off just before she went over to Jane and Arcadia to help them with those boars.
“Sure, I’ll be fine,” Marashi rolled her eyes as she continued her attack. Her shield buff hadn’t worn off yet so she was able to attack quickly and efficiently, forcing the boars to explode into bubbles.
“That wasn’t so bad,” Yume yawned slightly, “Though we might have an incoming…”
Marashi looked around to see yet another boar appear. However, it wasn’t a Young Pittered Boar. It was a regular Pittered Boar, sitting at level 6. Its huge tusks protruded forward, and they made Marashi kind of nervous. And it definitely wasn’t too happy seeing the Young Boars being attacked.
Its front hoof stomped the ground. It was going to charge. “Jade, Megumi, watch out! We have a regular Pittered Boar, and it’s not happy!” Marashi called out a warning, hoping that they would hear it in time.

notes here. words: 344 | Jade jumped in front of the boar, knowing she needed to take the brunt of this attack as it was her role. She smiled and yelled at it " This way if you think you have what it takes!" Mainly just trying to get it's attention. After all she wasn't sure how much in the way of hits that Megumi or Marashi could take. Hopefully they weren't glass cannons.. that was the phrase right? She tried to remember from her siblings when they had explained things. It was alot of talk that she was forced to go through when she was making her character. She was practicly forced in the game and now look at it, she was inside of it. She was rather glad for it now.
Jade smiled knowing her role and her job as she jabed her spear into the boar. " This isn't as bad as I thought it was.." She said taking back her words as her and her shield went flying back from the ram of the angry boar. She cursed as she got back up only to have to dig in the shield into the ground to take the next hit. "I take that back." She said as she jabbed her spear at the boar again. Remembering to Cast Anchor Howl only barely as she did so. This boar wasn't as easy as the last couple. She now saw why Marashi was so concerned. She couldn't wait till the other two got in this whole ordeal. She had the boars full attention with that anchor howl. She didn't know if she wanted to have it's attention anymore. The Boar prepared for another ram, and Jade thankfully got the spear out, so it stabbed itself. That would help, she figured as she watched the other two engage the ram. This was why she was with a team, together they could do much more than any one of them could alone. Maybe just Maybe they could pull this off. Jade smiled as she jabbed forward with her spear again. "Take this!"
