[attr="class","tempo"] [attr="class","appbox1"] Kane stands in game at around a height of 6 feet, his hair long similar to that of his avatar but, due to the nature of the game, his hair color is that of his real body, being a dirty-blonde/brown color. His form is rather thin, but holds the wide shoulders and slight muscle definition of an athlete or casual but practitioner of martial arts. He tends to scrunch up hie eyes and face when out in the sunlight due to him still being unfamiliar with once again having 20/20 vision. His skin is a darker tan of his real life body, and his race of ritual tattoos adorn his left eye and his right arm. | [attr="class","tempo"] [attr="class","appbox1"] Kane is rather upbeat, and has been described by his friends on multiple accounts of being a "clueless memelord". While he does tend to take things a bit seriously when it comes to his friends or their feelings and emotions, he generally likes to do his best to try and keep everyone around him smiling, even if its at the cost of his own dignity. No one around him doubts his intelligence however, as many will note the speed and enthusiasm with which he tackles riddles, puzzles and complex problems, and his efficiency rate when it comes to completing said objectives. His personality tends to be laid-back, much to a point of seeming like he doesn't care about many things, and often jokes about situations. However, the truth couldn't be anything farther. When he thinks his friends are in danger, His almost uncanny strategy and combat(ish) reflexes start to kick in and he will do anything for them. Likewise, when he finds a topic that seriously interests him, he will tend to hyper-focus on it much to the point of apparent obsession (this, interestingly enough, makes him very good at puzzles, but causes noticeable dark spots under his eyes when he's been on a long streak of obsessing over something). Essentially, he tends to go a more relaxed, practical route in day to day life unless he feels the need to go and dress up, in which he cleans up very well. |

Kane Nolson's life was anything but normal. Born almost three months premature, the doctors told his parents his probability of survival was low, as well as the fact that he would be born with many birth defects. By some weird stroke of luck, he happened to actually go on to live a fairly healthy life with no major defects and actually come to possess an exceptional brain as well. Speaking full complex sentences by his second birthday, knowing how to operate and run a computer before his third, and already at a middleschool reading level before he even started kindergarten was only a scratch on the surface of his mind. His only major downside seemed to be a major case of social anxiety, Attention Deficit Disorder, and an incredibly low sense of pride. This led him into the world of videogames at a young age. Since an incredibly young age, Kane had played everything from puzzle games to Real Time Strategy games to MMOs. By middleschool, he had already been part of a ranked guild in one of the more well-known strategic shooters, as well as filling up his spare time with acing schoolwork with little effort, writing, earning a blackbelt in martial arts, and starting to form a small but tightly knit group of friends.
It was highschool when it all began to fall apart however.
Suddenly, he had to move towns. While still in the same general area of northern Texas, his friends had gotten farther than him. The only way he could really manage to hang out was through video games, and, as he discovered a sudden need to learn how to study, began to find less and less time to play them. When the time finally came to move to college, he had no time left whatsoever for the games he loved so much as a kid and, for whatever reason, he decided to give military life a try for his first year.
It didn't go well.
He found his new, regimented, ordered life at university to be hell. He wanted nothing more than to get out of the military organization he had signed in with (because they had agreed to pay for some of his college) but he found that if he did, then the branch of the organization he was in would be disbanded, as many other freshmen had already left, and one more would have spelled disaster. So, for some misguided sense of duty, or honor, or wanting to keep his new friends, he stayed. And he hated himself. Much to the point of falling into a deep, dark place.
After his freshman semester, he left. He moved back home, and started taking classes at a local college. It was nothing fancy, but he figured it would do as he tried to find some way to get himself back out of the hole. It was a tough space of time, but he found that he had made a good few friends in new places that helped to dig him out. In the time, he found better ways to manage himself and his time, and got back into gaming with his new friends. It was about halfway through his third year that he had heard of a japanese MMO coming overseas. Being a fan of the genre, and having had his eye on it for a while, he preordered, and decided to see what was in store on the first day of the game's launch.

Summon Follower - Skeleton - Tier 1 - Undead-type Earth elemental follower. Summons a skeleton soldier which appear to bubble up from the very earth. Deals physical damage and are equipped with shields, weapons, and partially armored in rusty gear. It is possible to equip the skeleton with better weapons and shields that remains equipped when desummoned. Skeletons may also be equipped with vanity wear, for customization purposes. Skeleton's personality type is Docile toward its Summoner and Aggressive toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon.
Summon Follower - Phantom - Tier 1 - Spirit-type Darkness elemental follower. The Summoner calls forth a ghost-like servant that has low attack power but high evasion and magic resistance. This entity has a number of forms but usually appears as a miniature reaper-like creature with a violet cloak-like body and a simplified skull-like face. It is effective for diverting attention and performing recon duties. Phantom's personality type is Docile toward its Summoner and Curious toward all enemies. This follower takes 2 seconds of cast time to summon.
Death Scythe - Tier 1 - This skill may be used while the Summoner currently has a Spirit-type Follower active. An attack that allows the summoned Spirit-type Follower to attack physical targets while inflicting poison damage and slight defense debuffs on contact. Alternately, if no Spirit-type Follower is currently active, this skill summons one of these Followers for a split second in order to deliver a single arc-shaped horizontal slash in front of the user, without any other effects. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds, a duration of 60 seconds, and a cooldown time of 75 seconds. If it is used without an active Spirit-type Follower, the cooldown time becomes 15 seconds instead.

Roleplay Class: Sage
[attr="class","skillbox2"]
Sense Element - Tier 1 - Sages are sensitive to the different forms of mana once it has polarized into the eight main elements. Sense Element allows the Sage to home in onto a specific element and obtain a vague impression of that element's location. This can be useful for searching for water sources when traveling through a dry desert or for being able to navigate oneself through a dark cave by following the trail of light or wind mana. Of course, based on the context of the environment, this skill may not be particularly helpful at times. Using it while sailing on the high seas to search for water mana, for example, will probably overload the Sage's senses. Sense Element has a casting time of 10 seconds, a range of 25 meters, and a cooldown of 60 seconds.

Transmutation - Tier 1 - Alchemists are naturally aligned with the power of magical equipment, able to use the Adventurer skill [Equipment Mastery: Magical] as a Beginner-level skill without having it take up a skill slot. Their research also gives them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life to deal an additional 10% damage. If [Equipment Mastery: Magical] is already learned through racial or class bonuses, Magitech damage increases by 10%.
