[attr="class","tempo"] [attr="class","appbox1"] Being a Half-Alv in the game, he has a strange emblem on his tongue. This has lead him to not talking normally. His facial features look human enough to pass as one as long as a person does not see his tongue. He has blonde hair and green eyes. Due to having to wear eyeglasses in real life, Apoc has chosen to wear eyeglasses in the game to look more scholarly. He likes to wear comfortable clothing that do not look like mage robes. However, he does like to have a hood attached to his clothing for some reason. His favorite colors are black, white, and blue, which his clothing normally reflects. However, he has been known to have some red or green in his clothing has well. Apoc is about 179cm tall, so he is about average height. Since he is just a few centimeter shorter in real life, he has been prone to stumble now and again. His hair seems to spike randomly, but it is rather tame. As far as differences in between real life and the game world, there is very few differences. | [attr="class","tempo"] [attr="class","appbox1"] Apoc is a very self-centered person, who like to keep to himself. He is full of self-confidence of things that he knows, but this self-confidence can easily come across as simple arrogance. However, if Apoc can help someone with the knowledge that he has, then he will let that person know and how he can help. There is one down side to him while in groups. If Apoc views that someone is not pulling their own weight, then he will lose all respect for that person and will likely conflict with anything he/she does, even if that person is the leader of the group. Apoc loves knowledge in general. He specifically loves to know how certain combat situations would turn in his favor depending on the spells he could use. This is why he chose to become a Scholar. As long as he knows what something does and knows how to combat it, then he is happy. If he does not know about something, then he will attempt to find something or someone he can use to gain that knowledge. He basically lives by the motto of, "How does it work?" By asking his motto, he seems to figure out things while in a pinch. |

Robert was born in Wellington Hospital in London, England. His parents giving him up at birth due to some reason he never wanted to look into. His adopted father was a lawyer, while his adopted mother was a brain surgeon. They both localized from Japan to England and decided to settle in a small rural town in Northern England. Robert was well off, but he was always socially awkward due to his shy nature. This shy nature lead him to become friends with Sylvia. One day at school, his normal seat was taken by a large group of jocks that decided to change tables. His shy nature couldn't allow him to tell them to move, so he looked around the lunchroom and found Sylvia. She was alone by herself, so he sat down opposite of her and ate his food in silent. It seemed that after he joined her other outcast from school started to join the table. He did not like it, but he did not voice his displeasure since he was not the original one at the table. Soon, the others started to join in conversation. This is where the friendship with Sylvia started.
Robert would follow Sylvia to the same college due to his attachment to her. He would even attempt to take the same classes that she took. However, after his freshmen year of average grades, his parents told him to improve his grades and to find an actual field he would love to be in, or they would stop funding his college. He would then join the Chemistry department of the college. While going through college and later graduate school, Robert would constantly go out of his way to keep in touch with Sylvia. You could easily say that he had a crush on her even though he was in his early 20s. He would even frequent the bar that she worked at when she started working there even though he does not drink.
Now, he is a 28 year old man that has had his PhD in Chemistry for about two years. Some of his college friends wanted him to join a game that they used to play and start new characters. Wanting to get in touch with them again, he would rejoin Elder Tale. However, his new job as a professor at a minor college has not allowed him to stay in touch with Sylvia as much as he liked it. Knowing that Sylvia has been struggling with her bills and college loans, he would try to see if she would take an offer up that he would gladly do to get her to join him in Elder Tale. So, he offered to pay off her remaining college loans for her to play Elder Tale with him. Once she agreed, he would find out where he could go to pay off her college loans and would cover any cost that she would have to make to play Elder Tale. He had a time to meets his friends that were going to be in the game, so he had Sylvia enter the game a few hours before they were. That way, he could spend some time with Sylvia before taking her to meet his friends. Once he got confirmation, he would send off a check that would pay off the remaining balance of her college loans before entering the game. Soon after he entered the game, the Apocalypse happened. His friends that got him into the game were not online, but Sylvia was. This is where his journey in the world of Elder Tale begins.

Orb of Lava - Tier 1 - A ranged Fire-element magic that hurls a fist-sized orb of lava onto enemies. This lava ball bounces across enemy targets, dealing damage on impact. Since this skill is Fire-based, this is very effective against enemies weak against fire. One well-known trait of this skill is that it does not affect allies during combat, making it a popular skill among players. Orb of Lava causes a Burn debuff on the target for 10 seconds, slightly reducing their HP every time the character attacks or uses an active skill. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Elemental Attunement effect: Fire Orb +5%.
Frost Spear - Tier 1 - Impales a single target using an icicle spear for Ice-element damage. Due to the opponent being weighed down by a layer of ice, they receive a slowing debuff as well as a slight defense buff for the next 10 seconds. If a fire-attribute skill is used on the target at this time, the slow debuff and defense buff is negated and the target takes fire damage as though their fire resistance was reduced by 1 stage. Many players learn this skill for its balance of damage, casting time, and utility that is a notch above most Sorcerer skills. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 5 seconds.
Elemental Attunement effect: Ice Orb +5%.
Magi Lightning, Grand Fall - Tier 1 - The Sorcerer raises their hand or weapon to the sky and performs a casting animation, causing a portion of the sky to saturate itself with mana. Afterward, a thunderbolt will fall from the sky and strike the foe for lightning damage. This skill cannot be used on a target indoors. If it is cloudy or stormy when this skill is used, its damage is doubled. If used in stormy weather, it also splash damages everything within 1 meter of the target. The sign of a bolt from the blue is a significant phenomenon talked among the People of the Land, so this skill has had a number of names such as "Fury of God". This skill is notable for being a technique with a massive range, except that its casting time and cooldown prevents the skill from being anything other than a combat initiator. This skill has a casting time of 5 seconds, a range of 25 meters, and a cooldown of 30 seconds.

Evaluate - Tier 1 - This skill allows the scholar to gain additional details about the enemy. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used. It has a one second cast time and one second cooldown time. The target's elemental weaknesses and a brief summary of their skills will be made available to the Scholar any time they access the target's interface.

Transmutation - Tier 1 - Alchemists are naturally aligned with the power of magical equipment, able to use the Adventurer skill [Equipment Mastery: Magical] as a Beginner-level skill without having it take up a skill slot. Their research also gives them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life to deal an additional 10% damage. If [Equipment Mastery: Magical] is already learned through racial or class bonuses, Magitech damage increases by 10%.
