Sylvia remembered a bright flash and then darkness. With reality quickly coming in to focus around her however, other details began to filter through her haze. The low hum of conversation surrounded her, the ground was cold beneath her body from where she lay and a light breeze tousled her hair. Cracking her eyes open was regretted almost immediately. "Damn that hurts." Clenching her eyes tightly she seethed through her teeth as she skittered her fingers across the... ground? Was that grass? Huh, so she was outside. Heaving herself off the ground she squinted and took in what she could through the harsh glare of morning. Buildings, she was surrounded by buildings. Buildings covered in moss and grass, buildings that were damaged and seemed to have seen better days. The low hum of conversation came from people. People who seemed to be just as confused and disoriented as she was. Wherever it was... that she was. Scanning the buildings for landmarks proved to bring only one thing to mind. The town seemed vaguely familiar. In fact, it almost looked a bit like some of the concept art that one of her friends had shown her. Concept art for a game called Elder Tale. A game that she was supposed to be playing... a vague recollection came to mind. Her friend, Apoc. The game Elder Tale. The arrangement they had made. The game they would be playing together. Her debts. All the facts came crashing down around her, leaving Sylvia to freeze in place. Was THIS Elder Tale? Sylvia scanned the streets with new appraisal. "Huh. The graphics aren't all that bad for an old dinosaur of a game." Virtual reality? Everything felt so real to her. She could practically feel the wind on her face. The games creators must have an amazing team to have managed such a feat. Idly she wondered if they were hiring. "Nah, they probably wouldn't want me anyways. I mean I like to think I was good, but this...." She whistled to herself in silent appreciation. Speaking of her friend, where was he? Looking around she thought she saw him once or twice through the throngs of people but she wasn't quite sure. Finally making out his mop of sandy blond hair in the crowd, Sylvia her first few steps towards him, staggering and falling over in confusion. Odd. Her center of balance was a bit... off. The greater the amount of distance she gained however, the more her confusion grew. Was it her... or was everything really tall. Finally standing before her friend, or in the might soon to be in this case 'former friend', Sylvia could only look up at him in growing horror. "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME!"Everything around her wasn't just tall. No, she was just short. Very very short. She jotted that down on her rapidly growing list of things gone wrong for today. The next thing on her agenda? She was BLEEDING! Sylvia did not quite fail to notice that her brief hugging session with the ground had gained her a swell consolation prize in the form of a large scrape and a bruise down length of her forearm. And not only was she bleeding, she could feel pain. "What kind of a side show freak of a game is this!" Sylvia seethed up at her friend, with murder written all over her face. Notes: 569 Words~

Apoc would see the bright flash of light letting him know he was entering the world of Elder Tale. He was lounging on his bed like he normally would before entering the game. It was the best way to rest his body while he played the game. When he logged on, he choose his new character so that he could level up with her like he promised. He made the character to look similar to himself in the real world so he could be easily found by her. He remembers the name that she normally uses for her characters and believed that it was not taken, so it should be easy to find her. When he opened his eyes, he would be in the midst of a lot of people in the starting spawn point. Great, now it would take a while to find her.
Apoc would look around and to see which way was the fastest way out of the group of people, so that he could easily be spotted by her. While walking, he started to notice that was able to feel a lot more than normal. He could feel the temperature of the wind on his face. He could, also, hear the footsteps and the talking of everyone vividly, even though he settings should have he that off since settings were normally kept between characters. He started to pull up the game menu while he was walking when he heard a screech that sounded similar to her. He would turn towards the voice and notice a green hair girl running up to him that had wolf ears. He would then recognize the name of the character as one of the names she would choose, and the girl was staring right at him while she was walking.
As soon as the girl stood in front of him and yelled at him for something he obviously did not do, Apoc would respond with, "Nothing, you just made your character short is all." He looked at the girl and made a mental note that her name would be Sylvia while here. At least he knew her real name. When Sylvia yelled at him again but without as much force this time, Apoc would respond with, "This is Elder Tale, silly. You should know that." Apoc would look at Sylvia with a confused look upon his face and then say, "Why are you angry about playing a game with me? You seemed so into the idea when I approached you with it." Did she not want to do something he thought she would enjoy? Apoc hoped Sylvia did not. After all, this was really only a scheme to get her to spend time with him more.

Sylvia's left eye twitched ever so slightly. It was always the left one for some reason. Huh. "OF COURSE I KNOW THIS IS ELDER TALE! What do you take me for?" Thrusting her elbow out and grabbing at Apoc's shirt in the same fluid motion, she moved to try and yank his face down to her level. "Look. Look at this. LOOK AT IT. LOOK AT IT! LOOK AT IT!!!!" Lowering her voice to a deceptive whisper she smiled sweetly at him. "Do you... oh I don't know... notice anything interesting about my elbow by chance?" As quickly as it lowered the volume of her voice reached levels higher than ever. "I AM BLEEDING! Blood! Arm! Ground! Wound! Pain!" It was obvious that he just didn't get it. Sylvia wasn't exactly scared. Well, she was a little. But mostly she was angry with a side order of jealous rage. Why would Apoc do this to her? The game was practically rubbing away all credibility she had to her degree. The game was so immersive she honestly couldn't even tell if she was still at her desk or actually in Londinium itself! If she had any career based self esteem left from her lack of employment it was gone now. With a haughty sniff Sylvia reached over to tap the air in front of her, already working on trying to find a way out of this stupid buzz kill of a game. But... the log out button seemed to be... gone? "I cant.... I can't find the log out button." She spoke these words with far more calm than she felt. "I want to leave. Now. Where is the log out button Apoc." Notes: 282 Words

Guardian - Cavalier - Blacksmith ____________________________________________________ Drifting along at a steady gait, Saskia traveled alone throughout the town on top of her gallant ivory steed. Her cerulean eyes squinted at her surroundings in wonder as she silently observed the vast races of adventurers and people of the land that roam the territory. She was stricken with fear and amazement. Not a gamer at all by any means, the Londonian pop star celebrity found it extremely difficult to adjust to this new environment and no longer have the comforts of home.
She longed to be anywhere else. Writing songs for her next album or recording music in her studio, however, fate would deny her those opportunities as it seemed her destiny was now aligned with this world.
Her microphone and makeup was traded for a shield and spear and now she was a fledgling warrior with no experience in any of the mechanics of an MMO. She felt a strong disconnect with this world as she kept riding, her presence just lingering as if without purpose.
As she strolled through the town, she witnessed some bystanders chatting. A Half-alv and creature that resembled her in appearance as she sported a brilliant green mane and tail.
She frowned as she examined the girls anxiety.
"We can't. No one has been able to leave for some time now. Some people think it's a bug..." Her eyes darted to the scenery, away from the duo she was speaking to. "There's something strange about this place...I don't trust it..."
She shook her head and sighed. "I..I just can't believe this is really happening...I have to be ready for a concert in Manchester tomorrow..."
She then looked down at the duo from atop her blonde haired horse.
"Are you both from England as well?"

Apoc would look at Sylvia a little perplexed. Pain? Pain was not programed in the game to help prevent heart issues. He would say to her, "Pain should not be programmed in the game. Maybe, it is all in the mind?" Did the new expansion introduce something in that no one knew was in the VR headset? There could be no one with that malefic intent in a company that lasted for over twenty years. Sylvia then said something that had him raise an eyebrow. She could not find the Log Out Button? That could not happen. Apoc would pull up his interface and then go to where the Log Out Button has always been, and there was nothing. It was as if the programmers decided to not let anyone leave. There was no way that could be the reason. There had to be a reason why this happened.
At that exact moment, a Lady Guardian on horseback would come up and state that there has been no Log Out Button for some time now and was most likely a bug. A bug on this scale could not take place unless the game programmers were really incompetent. This game has been active for twenty years, so Apoc viewed that there had to be something or someone behind it. The most likely answer would be a hacker, but that should have been broadcasted so that would most likely mean that was not it. Apoc decided to look into this further at a later date. Maybe, there was something they could do on this end to enable it.
This Lady Guardian mentioned a concert and that she was from England. This was the UK server, so the chance of not having someone from the UK would be a little weird. Since she did not state her name, Apoc would look at the interface to see what her name was. According to the interface, the character's name was Saskia. He then look at Saskia and say, "We are. May I ask what else you know about this situation?" Apoc did not know this Saskia, so he would be a little guarded, but he was curious enough to know any more about what he brought Sylvia and himself into. He wanted to make sure that he could prevent Sylvia from choosing to stop talking to him while they could not leave the game.

Sylvia whirled around to face the newcomer annoyed at the intrusion, instead however coming face to face with the muzzle of horse. At that moment all annoyances were forgotten. "Oooooo, what's your name cutie?" Reaching out she would attempt to stroke its neck, not really minding if the horse tried to shy away from contact. Normally she hated it when other people got too close to her bubble so to speak. But if... glancing at her displayed name notified Sylvia that the newcomers name was Saskia. But if Saskia was okay by this horse, then she was okay by her. Everyone knew that horses were good judges of character. It was just common fact! Oddly enough, the guardians words burst Sylvia's bad mood like a dirty soap bubble. "A bug Huh? Hah! Perfect game isn't so perfect now is it." A wide smile danced across her face as she at the very least had that to console her. That and the fact that apparently she was not the sole recipient of the situation. Misery did indeed enjoy company. "If no one has been able to leave for a while, that can't be good. I mean, everyone has to eat. People need to sleep. Hell, go to the bathroom. I swear, if I end up waking form this nightmare a rack of ribs covered in piss I'm going to sue this game for all that it's worth." "Yeah, we are. The names Sylvia, nice to meetcha." Sucking on a tooth, she drew in a sharp breath with eyebrows pinched. "Damn. And I had a hot date tonight too. Doesn't that suck."Notes: Sorry that I didn't post last night. Sorta passed out. Guardian - Cavalier - Blacksmith ____________________________________________________ Saskia smiled politely as the emerald adventurer cooed at her horse in an affectionate tone. The small horse was young but sturdy in it's posture and seemed rather comfortable with Sylvia, instead of his typical wary behavior.
"Well, that's strange. He normally isn't that calm around people he doesn't know. You must be one of the good ones. " Saskia chuckled as she ran her fingers through his golden mane. Her eyes lowered down to the display name above the adventurer. "His name is Icarus." Saskia responded warmly in her angelic british accent.
Saskia listened as the woman spoke, expressing her concerns. "Oh gosh, I haven't even thought about that...are you saying that our real bodies could be back at home just laying around lifelessly?" Saskia shivered at the thought. "But we are here physically right? We can't be in two places at once...can we?"
The notion of all the terrible publicity it could cause her or the possibility of dying in the real world sent a chilling sensation down her spine.
"A hot date, eh? Damn. Well, you might be in luck if they decide to play the game after being stood up. " Saskia laughed lightly.
"Nice to meet you, Sylvia. My name is Hope." Saskia stated, wondering if they would recognize her as one of london's famous popstar celebrities because of her name and uncanny resemblance.
She then turned to the half alv that looked like some type of wizard. "It's good to have some things in common. However, all I know so far is that no one can log out and the food tastes terrible! Fruits seem to be the only thing worth eating, unless you like vegetables."
Saskia shook her head in dissapointment. "I can't believe I wasted that much gold on a steak that tasted like pure salt! Bleh..."

Apoc would hear what both Sylvia and Saskia would say. He compartmented away that Saskia believed that their real bodies were transported to the world of Elder Tale and that food that was made tasted like salt. He would hope that this was true due to the fact that if Sylvia's train of thought that this was still a game would mean that unless someone moved everyone to a hospital that everyone would most likely die if the Log Out Button issue takes too long to resolve. Apoc would also have his face go white when Sylvia mentioned a date. He hoped that the only date was with her normal bottle of booze, since he could not handle her seeing someone else. This was the reason why he was trying to get her to play with him, so that he could spend time with her and maybe strike something between them. If they were indeed stuck, then maybe this was his chance to try and woo her to stay with him if and when they could return to their normal lives.
After processing what they said, Apoc would try to converse with both of them. He would first ask Sylvia, "Sylvia, if you are missing a date, I would gladly take you on a cheap date to the nearest town if you would like before we start our adventure. Or, you can pocket the offer for a later date if you prefer."
After Sylvia responded, he would then redirect his speech to Saskia to gauge if they could become acquaintances so that they could party together often due to the game stating that she was a Guardian. If his screen was correct, then that would make a tank, a healer, and a magic damage dealer was conversing with one another. If this still took on the aspects of the game, then having a tank that you could rely on would be beneficial to both Sylvia and himself. He would start out with, "Hope, would you prefer that we call you that or your in game name of Saskia?" Once he was given what she would preferred to be called, he would continue with, "I myself would have some classes and some test I would need to perform over the next few days being a college professor, so I may or may not have heard something in passing that may be something you would perform at your concert. If you do not mind, could you say what your concert was?" He did not know if this was the right way to "break the ice" due to his lack of social skills. He really only had his college friends and Sylvia that he really spoke to, so he hoped this was a good way to get Saskia to befriend them. If his attempts fail, then he would most likely do what he normally would in this situation. He would rely on Sylvia.

"Well hello Icarus." She cooed at the horse, practically smitten with him. He was such a pretty horse, yes he was. Reluctantly snapping her attention back to the horses rider however, Sylvia frowned. "Well yeah, I mean what other explanation can there be? It's not like we were just sucked into the game right?" She laughed, smiling widely. "Because that's just crazy." They couldn't, could they? No. Something like that was impossible. No, Elder Tale was just a high end graphic gaming experience that sported new pain based technology and was being played with bugs. That was all. "Lets just hope that that's not the case anyways."But of course Apoc had to once again ruin her mood. The tiny green wolf would whirl around to stare at the lanky sorcerer incredulously. "A cheap date? Really? REALLY? Some charmer you are. What makes you think I want a date with you anyways mister drag me into a bugged game? Were you even listening to her? She said the food tastes like salt. Salt! Assuming we could even go on a date in this game, where would we go, what would we even do? I'm tired, cranky, hungry and would sell my soul for a good beer right now, but there is still a whole lot of angry going on over here if you haven't noticed. And I-"Just then, something peculiar caught Sylvia's notice. As she ranted an odd sensation seemed to be taking place. Her ears were tingling and something seemed to be sticking out of the back of her pants, causing her to cut off her tirade mid sentence. Wordlessly she raised her hands to her head and felt her ears, her long fluffy furry ears that twitched under her fingers. "O-oh." Her tail swished behind her as she glanced at it, and Sylvia took a deep and much needed breath. "No. Okay. Everything is fine. I have.... dog ears and a tail. But everything is fine. This is okay. I am okay with this." Crossing her arms over her chest, she looked calm for all about three seconds. "Who the hell am I kidding! I. Have. A. TAIL! A tail." Desperately she tried to recall if she had one before, and agreed that when she first woke up a tail had not been part of the picture. Grasping her tail between her hands, Sylvia's ears drooped as her eyes darted wildly around her. "Oh man. Oh man oh man oh man. I mean I know, I created my character as a Wolf Hair and all. But.... I didn't actually expect to be WEARING the tail. This is just too weird." Threading her fingers through the fur on her tail she shivered at the sensation. "It just.... feels so real." If Apoc tried to pet her ears or tail he would be rebuffed with a slap of her hand and a hiss. (c)Sylvia of Elder Tale

Guardian - Cavalier - Blacksmith ____________________________________________________ Swift winds blew through her thick locks of hair as she pulled her weight to one side of the horse, preparing herself to dismount. Icarus wagged his platinum blonde tail from side to side while tilting his head at Apoc with round chocolate eyes. The horse let out a rough puff of wind from his nostrils and then continued to observe his surroundings as normal.
Scrutinizing the half-alv she noticed that he seemed to be one of the most normal looking people on this game. All of his qualities seemed human, however, as he spoke Saskia couldn't help but recognize the odd tattoo he had on his tongue.
'What a strange combination...he looks like a nerd, but what's with the strange tattoo on his tongue. And why would a professor of all people do that to themselves...weird..' Saskia thought. She hadn't realized that it was a special feature exclusive to their race, so in her eyes, Apoc was just a human with a weird tattoo fetish.
Saskia slightly smiled on the man's polite offer to ask the woman out on a date. His approach seemed to skip offer poor pick up lines and portrayed a classic gentleman feel to it. However, she looked away nervously and cringed at the sharp rejection of the idea coming from Sylvia.
"Well, like I said before, the fruits and vegetables are nice. So perhaps a picnic?" Saskia suggested. "I heard about a grove or place with a lot of flowers outside of the city."
Saskia shrugged her shoulders helplessly as she didn't know if her words would do much to encourage the lady.
"If you're looking for a beer, I think they have a tavern we can check out in the city. I'm not sure how it will taste, but if you're looking to get tip, I'm sure it might still give a decent buzz." Saskia grinned mischieviously. "So you like beer? It makes my stomach a bit too bubbly. I'm a liquor or wine kind of woman. Maybe a nice mimosa on the beach. I miss the coast of the Dominican Republic, they served endless drinks and food with this special package deal I bought during the summer. "
"Oh, well I'm fine with Hope. My sister made this character and named it that. Most people might already recognize me as Hope MacLaren anyways or "Cherry Blossom". As for the concerts, well the Virtual Seduction World Tour started about 8 months ago. It was pretty fun and exciting. I enjoy sensual music that I can dance and sing to. I try to capture all the fun and romantic parts of life."
Saskia tactfully reciprocated the interest in the man's work.
"So, what are you a professor of? One of my friends from church got her Masters degree in Psychology at 23 and is now starting out as a professor in Gloucestorshire!"
"So, what about you, Sylvia, what do you do for work?" Saskia stated, trying to indulge in casual conversation and distance herself as far away from the game world as possible as she held little care for things of fantasy at this time. However, it seemed the wolf hair had made a new discovery that occupied her attention.
"Oh, right...those are a thing." Saskia muttered as her pink furry tail danced softly behind her. "At first I thought people were just running around in costumes like those rave parties, but nope. We're all just freaky mutant people. Works for me." Saskia said with a chuckle.
Scratching the back of her head, she muttered. "Maybe getting tip wouldn't be so bad...beer run anybody?"

Apoc was smiling when Sylvia was yelling at him about him asking her out for a date. He was hoping she would take him up on his offer, but he actually did that to try to get her out of her depressed state. He welcomed that her rant stopped due to her realizing that she was the race of wolf-hair. Well, Sylvia is still acting like her normally self, so that had to be a great thing, hopefully. He would listen to what Saskia would say. It seemed that she would prefer to be called Hope and that she was part of he guessed Cherry Blossom. He normally did not listen to music, and his colleagues would really only listen to classical music. Those really were not dance music, so he did not really know who she actually is. Maybe, Sylvia did since she was normally in bars, but he did not know.
He guessed the next thing was to get Sylvia more comfortable was to move the setting to something was more comfortable. Apoc would then say, "I am sorry that I am not familiar with Cherry Blossom or your Virtual Seduction World Tour. I have not really enough time to enjoy any music. I am normally busy with students or my laboratory experiments and have not really any time to listen to the popular music lately. I have a PhD in Inorganic Chemistry, so Chemistry classes are what I currently teach." Now that he answered Saskia's question, Apoc would then chime in to her statement of wanting to go to a local tavern. He would state, "Sylvia, let us follow Hope here to the local tavern so we can move to a more better place than talking in the middle of all this chaos." The chaos that he was referring to was the people around them going into a panic from overhearing they could not return home currently. He would guess that if Wolf-Hair race had ears that worked like wolves, then Sylvia would start to form a headache soon from all the yelling. The other reason why he mentioned the tavern was the fact that Sylvia should be more mellow when she has some beer for them to talk about what they would need to do to better themselves in this world. That way they could get a more steady income and maybe find better food than the salt that Saskia referred to before.

Hope's words brought Sylvia out of the deep funk she had buried herself under. "A tavern?" Just the thought of a beer in her hand seemed to chase away all the gloom from her eyes. "I-yes! Yes that would be wonderful thank you!" Smiling at the other woman's thoughts on her favorite beverage, she could only shake her head. "There is no such thing as a bad beer. Some are just better than others. We just have to find the right beer that speaks to you, that's all. But hey, liquor and wine? I can get behind a mimosa any day. Lead the way pretty lady!" When the conversation turned to Apoc and his profession, Sylvia politely tuned them out a tad and stuck her hands in her pockets. "Huh?" She pulled them back out with a curious gleam in her eyes, it seemed that she had something in them. Uncurling her fist revealed a wooden whistle with a carving of a bear on either side. "Huh. Pretty." The conversation turning her way again however brought her out of her curiosity. "Ah.... well about that. It's kinda complicated honestly. I have several degrees in game design, but have found myself tending bars for the time. What can I say I guess... I like a good beer." Though, the way that she said it, wistfully with a tinge of sadness seemed to imply something more that was left unsaid. "I feel bad to say this, I really do. Because I didn't think I would, but I like you Hope. I have.... absolutely no idea who Cherry Blossom is. I tend to stick with a certain type of music and have been a bit of a recluse this past year. But you must be pretty successful for what you do, I can hear the pride in your voice in the way that you talk about it. Good on you. It's always nice to do something for a living that makes you happy." When Apoc suggested that they head to the tavern, Syliva could not agree more. "Finally, something sensible out of your mouth today. I don't even know why we are still here!"Grinning from ear to ear, Sylvia once again remembered the whistle in her hands and brought it closer to her face. "I had this in my pocket... for whatever reason. Wounder if it works. Bringing it to her lips, Syliva closed her eyes and blew on it as hard as she could. When her eyes opened once more, a large and tired looking black bear was staring expectantly at her. "It's got a good note to it-AND THAT'S A BEAR!" Wildly flailing her arms she propelled herself backwards, but the bear made no move to pursue her. Instead, the bear sat down on it's furry haunches and began to eat out of a jar of honey it had pulled from nowhere. Glancing from the bear to her whistle, the gears in the girls head began to turn wildly. "Did I just summon that thing?" Notes: Sorry for the late reply. I had work early this morning and wasn't really feeling all that well. Had one heck of a nap. Tags: Saskia (c)Sylvia of Elder Tale

Guardian - Cavalier - Blacksmith ____________________________________________________
Saskia listened enthusiastically as the pair began talking; the professor in a cool, calm, and collected manner; the bartender in an excitable pitch. The two acquaintances seemed to be polar opposites and how they would have grown connected to each other was a mystery beyond Saskia’s understanding.
For the man to be a professor of organic chemistry, it seemed odd for him to even be meandering around in a video game and if he asked the woman on a date, that suggested that the woman’s age might have been similar to his, perhaps a few years younger. It was evident that both of them obviously completed college which was a luxury that Saskia had bypassed in pursuit of her musical career at a young age, despite the desire of her family.
She pegged the mage as a more refined personality as she noted his choice of words and interests. The woman, on the other hand seemed to be more of the secular sort, enjoying the fruits of the world and indulging in the sensations of life. She demonstrated a curious nature and a lust for liquor. It was obvious that the woman was quick to form opinions about others, however, it seemed Saskia was within her good graces. Whether or not that would prove to be useful remained to be seen, but Saskia’s social needs called for her to make friends and allies or else her psyche might suffer from the loneliness.
As the conversation continued on, Saskia noticed a familiar object being held in the woman’s hand. Before she could warn her, the woman already had that innocent curious gleam in her eye and it was already too late. In an instant a large monstrosity had emerged and the woman had panicked which caused Saskia to raise a hand to cover her mouth in stifled laughter.
“Better watch your tail before he nicks it off of you…” Saskia chuckled. She waved a dismissive hand at the bear, not showcasing much fear. “You did summon that bear, and lucky for you he is an ally. One of the few that you are able to mount. They are pretty docile. “
Saskia walked over to inspect the bear. “Yeah, this big guy...or girl?” Saskia said with a tilt of her head. “They belong to you. From what I’ve seen some of these guys can fight, but others can’t. However, the star quality of these things is that they can be carried and most mounts are able to carry two people at a time.”
“Which now that I think of it, means that we are in a bit of luck, because I only had room for one of you.”
Saskia waited for the two to be relaxed before speaking again,
“You guys good? Well, I bet a drink will steady those nerves. I hope you’re ready, because we’re about to get tip!” Saskia said as she pumped a fist in the air in a triumphant cheer as she spurred her horse and began trotting across the cobblestone towards a tavern.
As they arrived, several dwarfs could be seen, with their arms cheerfully draped around each other, staggering in a drunken stupor as a sign above began swinging in the wind.
The sign read “The Drunken Dwarf”.
“Here we are, ladies and gents. Hope you can hold your liquor and are ready to kiss your wallets goodbye, because we are about to be lit!” Saskia said in an excitable cheer.
“Cool thing about this place is that they’ve got a pretty neat medieval styled karaoke bar. I hope the bards are in today.” Saskia smiled as she got in the line that stretched a few yards outside of the tavern.

Sylvia blinked up at the bear, or rather, her bear as she just now found out. She summoned this thing? And it was hers? Neat! "So... wait mount?" Well things just kept getting better and better. "Your telling me, that I have a portable bear in a whistle that I can ride. That is... well that almost makes up for the bad time I have been having so far. I mean, he's.... I think hes a he at least, no beer per say, but hes pretty neat. I have always wanted to ride a bear. I have just never been drunk enough to you know, actually do it." Sliding closer to said honey eating bear, Sylvia braved herself to stick out a hand and stroke it's back. The bear didn't seem to even notice. "You need a name if your going to get personal with my backside, dontcha." After a few seconds of pondering, she seemed to have the perfect name. "Bear, I here by dub you Sir Lager. May you bear the name well. Get it bear? Hah. I kill me."Without wasting another moment, Sylvia leaped onto the bears back and steadied herself. Sir Lager would grumpily put his honey pot away and stagger to his feet. "Nah, I think Sir Lager is a one person kind of bear. What do you think, Sir Lager? See? He's totally agreeing with me." Sir Lager the bear yawned and pawed at his face, but otherwise made for nothing that could be taken as any sort of verbal agreement. Without offering Apoc a seat on her furry new ride, Sylvia spurred Sir Lager onward and towards the promise of alcohol. Of course, should Apoc catch up with her and manage to seat himself while she was on the move, she wasn't going to push him off. Every step the bear took was just one step closer to bliss. She hummed a merry tune as they made their way to the tavern, though frowned at the sight of such a long line. "Eh. This place any good? .... It wont taste like salt will it? Because if it does you might as well just save me the trouble and kill me now." Although... a medieval karaoke bar did sound pretty dang cool. Not that she would actually go up there and sing. Apoc would watch Sylvia's action with her new bear that she had a summoning whistle with. She must have done something during creation to allow her access to this special item. He would not that she named the bear that is summoned from the whistle Mr. Lager. When the others decided to leave, Saskia noted that she could not bring another person on her horse, but that the new bear should be able to. He would turn towards Sylvia and ask if she was going to ride her new bear and if so if he could ride with her. When he turned to Sylvia, she was already on the bear and was walking off. He did not know where Saskia was taking them, so he would run and jump onto the bear. Luckily, Sylvia did not push him off. She did not even talk to him while they were riding the bear together to the tavern Saskia was leading him to. She may still be mad at him. Hopefully, that will change soon.
When they got to the tavern, Apoc would notice that the name was "The Drunken Dwarf". There were plenty of Dwarfs around the establishment that looked plenty drunk. He would watch as Saskia would enter the very long line for the establishment. He was very boring, since he did not drink any form of alcohol. He really did not want to enter the line, but he would follow Sylvia and stand near both her and Saskia in the line that allowed them to enter the establishment. He really did not have anything to say at the moment, so he stayed silent trying to take in his surrounding to figure out where everything was.

Guardian - Cavalier - Blacksmith ____________________________________________________ Saskia grinned gracefully as Sylvia became ecstatic over the discovery of her awesome grizzly that was able to be summoned at will. It seemed to just fix all the problems she was dealing with in this world, albeit temporarily. The interaction was quite comical indeed as Sylvia expressed a secret thing on her bucket list to always do, but never had enough liquid courage to conquer the amazing feat.
“Well, fortunately in this world you can conquer the feat without having to suffer any of the risks! Maybe you can teach him how to do some tricks like balancing a beer bottle on his nose! Could make for some funny party tricks!” The vivacious wolf hair chuckled as she listened in to the woman’s hilarious name she dubbed the bear with.
“Sir, lager, that’s pretty awesome! I’m digging it. “
As they stood in line later, Sylvia asked about the quality of this joint. “Well, this is actually my first time here. But the lander’s seem to think this is the livest place in Londiminium, so I figured we’d check it out. I sure as hell hope it doesn’t taste like salt…I’d probably break a nail trying to scrape the disgusting taste out of my mouth. Thought, salt and lime with like a corona or some of the other beers was pretty nice when I tried it.”
As they entered the bar, given the okay from a Dwarf that looked like a grizzly, intimidating fellow, they could see tables filled with jubilant patrons singing along to grand tales of adventure from a song a local bard was playing. Shady looking figures lurked in the corners playing card games with coin littered across the table. A half-alv seemed engaged with an elf in seeing who was the bolder of the two when dancing a dagger in between their fingers that were planted on the table. The half-alv yelped as he pricked his finger with the blade and the elf laughed maniacally with a rotted smile as he scooped over an armful of gold coins, and placed a second bet.
“Certainly has a special type of crowd….so should we sit at the bar or the table?” Saskia inquired as she looked back to her companions. "You getting drinks, too, Apoc?"

As promised, Sylvia did not push Apoc off her bear. But, she did not speak to him either. Instead she concentrated on the road and the promise of bubbly deliciousness she was soon to partake in. The fact that he was most likely clinging to her waist for balance was for the most part ignored. Turning her head towards the mounted knight rewarded her however with a pleasant conversation for the road. "Balance a beer bottle? But just think of how much honey I would need for motivation!" It was an interesting thought at least. Though all too soon they arrived at their destination and Sylvia got her first glimpse at the inside of this highly respected establishment. The druids eyes slid from corner to corner as she absorbed all there was to see. The daggers, the grim faces, the seedy looks. It nearly brought tears to her eyes. "These. These are my people." Wiping a tear from her face in a dramatic gesture she opened her arms up wide as she faced the knight and her sorcerer companion. "Come friends! Maybe we will get lucky today and someone starts a bar fight and gets stabbed! But first.... a beer!" Sylvia was always a bold one, and slid herself into a chair at the bar. "I will have the local favorite if you please. You know... I'm not sure if Apoc drinks to be honest, hes visited me at my job countless times, the stalker, but I have never actually seen him drink."(c)Sylvia of Elder Tale

Apoc was glad when Sylvia declined on teaching her bear how to balance a beer bottle on its nose. It was a silly thing that Saskia suggested, and he hoped it would not happen anytime soon. When the dwarf at the door finally allowed them to enter, Apoc would notice that the bar was full on people he could not associate with. There were drunken singing, some nasty looking fellows playing cards, two drunks fighting over balancing a weapon, and a few people that looked a little intimidating. What is with people and loving liquor? He could never figure it out. Being a chemist, he knew the structure of liquor and what it does to one's brain. It was just something he just could never do. He was a very vanilla person, so his friends would always drag him to bars to be their designated driver due to his stance on drinking alcohol. He would always drive them to the bar that Sylvia frequented. With the amount of times his friends would have him drive them, Sylvia could easily think that he was stalking her due to him not hanging out with the drunkards.
When they were asked if they prefer a bar or table by Saskia, Apoc was about to answer a table but was beaten to the punch due to Sylvia just taking a seat at the bar. Apoc would sigh and sit in a seat that was besides Sylvia. He would then answer the question that Saskia asked and that Sylvia did not really know the answer to. "I actually do not drink alcohol. I know that is sacrilegious to say inside a tavern ran by dwarfs, but I have never wanted to drink or plan on drinking any alcohol." With that said, Apoc would look around to make sure that he did not grab any negative attention from the patrons in the tavern.
