[attr="class","tempo"] [attr="class","appbox1"] Masao Saito is a half-japanese half-british man that stands around 6'1" tall. He had the build of a scholar, being extremely thin and lithe but was nowhere near emaciated. His eyes were a dark blue and his hair was jet-black. Now Masao Saito is known as Leocan, being the same height as he was in the real world as well as the same body build except that now he is more toned and muscular than he was before, having the body of a track athlete below whatever he was wearing at the time. His skin is extremely pale both as Leocan, and himself in the real world. His hair in game is bleach white, reaching past his ears barely touching his shoulders and his eyes are a golden yellowish color | [attr="class","tempo"] [attr="class","appbox1"] Leocan is a mischievous man who always teases his comrades for various mistakes, making several references and inside jokes. He often acts slightly different around women who are physically attractive as most men do but instead he suppresses his joking side, becoming more professional over-all. He's a constant worrywort and a major socialite, often becoming stressed when there is nobody nearby to talk to or when he hasn't been able to contact those relatively close to him. Leocan is known to be very observant, but also known to jump to conclusions; often finding correlations where there are none. Over all he can be considered lovelorn and borderline desperate. |

Masao Saito was born to a couple of writers in a normal townhouse on the outskirts of town. He wasn’t exactly raised by his parents, but rather by his teachers at the school. Whenever he was home his parents hadn’t been there due to the jobs they had to lead; either that or they were shut in their rooms working on their most recent book, leaving Masao to his own devices. Occasionally they would buy cool new things for him that he had shown an interest in; like scientific books and bikes. Oddly enough, he was fine with his parent’s own reclusiveness as it allowed him more time to go out and make friends. Although he had surrounded himself with friends, he often took to reading books; often wondering why his parents had focused on them so much.
Throughout his school career he had always gotten near perfect scores and graduated with ease, however he never once had someone he could call his beloved. Always attempting throughout highschool he could never successfully go on a date, let alone find someone that accepted his romantic advances. After his highschool life however, he quickly took to college getting several scholarships, leaving him only paying very very little of his own money to get his degree. Oddly enough, he chose a degree in teaching, majoring in biology. He finally graduated after only 6 years of college, taking extra time due to not filling everything with classes. When not in class he would focus on making as much money as possible, and playing several video games. This was where he met his closest friends, although most of them were shocked by his choice in occupation. His parents never knew what he wanted to do however, and once he graduated and began working as a teacher assistant he was shunned and disowned. They expected him to follow in their footsteps, become a writer and a scholar, not a biology teacher.
His first couple of years as a teacher assistant showed just how good he was at teaching the younger populace, often causing the students to get better grades than most. His success was unspoken as not even he knew why the younger ones seemed to respect him as much if not more than whom he was learning from, and finally once the school year ended, he had a well earned break. Rather than spending his time making more and more money, he spent this time reading up on the newer games coming out. Having been finished with his prior rpgs and mmos he decided to buy this new game coming to Britain called Elder Tale. He planned this with several of his other mates, and each one of them was going to all buy the game at the same time. Sadly, the game released when school was in session, causing him to buy the game on the weekend with his old friends. All of them did a massive LAN party that saturday, creating characters and the like, but they made everything about a couple of months into the game’s release. Shortly after creating their characters, they played for a very short time and then parted ways. Later that night Masao vanished, awakening in a foreign land as Leocan.

[attr="class","skillbox1"]
Killing Blow - Tier 1 - An attack that aims to deal as much damage to a weakened foe as possible in one fell sweep. By targeting the vitals with a special attack from an equipped weapon, this skill deals damage based on the target's remaining HP. The skill is extremely weak if the target's HP is full, whereas the damage is maximized if the target's remaining HP is at 20% or lower. Killing Blow has an animation time of 2 seconds, a cooldown of 60 seconds, and has several additional effects based on the class that uses it.
Guardian, Samurai, Monk, or a Warden while "Mode Change: Fortress Style" is active: Restores 10% of the user's HP if dealt as the finishing blow on the target.
Ace Move: Go no Sen (Early Bird, Night Owl) - Tier 1 - Chain 1 Defensive. Starts or resets the current Chain. Does nothing if the opponent targeted the player with a magic attack. This ace move follows after the basic concept of Parry, except that it is used in an aggressive manner to build up momentum. The user predicts an oncoming attack and counters it by striking the opponent's weapon with their weapon and then pushing onward into an attack of their own. Gonosen is typically performed with a melee weapon, but its concept can also be used to deflect an opponent's arrow by shooting it off-course. To deflect ranged attacks in this manner, the Samurai must obviously be equipped with a bow. This skill has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 10 seconds.
Ace Move: Shunsen (Flashwave) - Tier 1 - Chain 2 Offensive. Usable after Chain 1 skills. Shunsen is a quick and sudden horizontal slash that cuts the air and forms a cutting wave vacuum which deals additional damage. Unlike Izunagiri, this pressure field is stationary and essentially serves as a deterrent to opponents' melee attacks for the duration of the technique. This technique has a fan-shaped area of effect, making it an excellent technique to dispatch enemies standing in close proximity. This skill's attribute is wind, has an animation time of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds.

Evaluate - Level 1 - This skill allows the scholar to gain additional details about the enemy. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used. It has a one second cast time and one second cooldown time. The target's elemental weaknesses and a brief summary of their skills will be made available to the Scholar any time they access the target's interface.

Transmutation: - Level 1 - Alchemists are naturally aligned with the power of magical equipment, able to use the Adventurer skill [Equipment Mastery: Magical] as a Beginner-level skill without having it take up a skill slot. Their research also gives them an advantage in fighting Artificial Life to deal an additional 10% damage. If [Equipment Mastery: Magical] is already learned through racial or class bonuses, Magitech damage increases by 10%.
