Londinium
Londinium CityThe iconic capital city of England and the starting city for essentially all adventurers on the United Kingdom server. Due to the large plant overgrowth over most of the buildings, only a few resemblances of noteworthy buildings would really give one the impression that this city was actually this world's equivalent of London.
Londinium Underground: A long forgotten subway and series of caves located beneath Londinium's St. Pancras Station. They used to be infested with kobolds and other monsters, but now a rail station runs in the area. While Adventurers can teleport between cities, they cannot teleport to individual parts of a city. Therefore, this is is one of the best options to quickly reach the other side of an otherwise large city. It is not safe to travel alone past the explored areas near the entrance, and a party is recommended to venture further.
Old Parliament Building: An old building that is found in the heart of the city. Its inner halls are currently closed for the time being, leaving only the main lobby where players can form guilds and deposit items in the city bank. Many players use it as a common meeting spot to form parties, regardless.
Pattington Station: A Large Station in the heart of Londinium, where business and travel met hand in hand long, long ago. Now, it is being refurbished and recreated to better accomodate not only guild members, but also allow it to be an open station for people to travel to and from. The tracks have been repaired, and bridges made, to allow for train travel to occur throughout the Unfounded Kingdom. Currently, it extends throughout the Windsor Greatwood, the Sarum Frontier, Avon Valley, and the Isle of Grain.
St. Pancras Station: An old train station with railways that no longer function due to extreme corrosion. It has been commandeered by the crafting community to be used as workspace and as a market square. The larger more open spaces house an open factory like work area while the former stores, offices and internal areas have been taken for private shops and workspaces. Many parts of the facility however are in disrepair rendering them unusable and the spaces which are being used aren't in great condition. Perhaps they can be be remodeled?
Westminster Abbey: A large cathedral that overlooks the Parliament Building in the distance. This is where adventurers who have fallen in battle outside the London area revive. It was discovered that the Ancient Cessair Credne the Guardian sealed his power in this building to create a defensive barrier around the city.
Windsor GreatwoodThe Windsor Greatwood is a large valley that adventurers must cross in order to pass between Londinium and Sarum. Straying off from the main road, it is possible to find lower-leveled hunting areas fit for many beginners.
Savill Flower Grove: The area designated as the Savill Grove seems to have been a carefully maintained flower garden in the past, according to faded paintings found in nearby abandoned building. However, since the Apocalypse, the garden has expanded beyond its boundaries, threatening to engulf the rest of the land. Although this massive flower overgrowth makes for a beautiful landmark, adventurers should be wary of the monsters that occasionally swarm the underbrush.
Windsor Castle Grounds: Even after nature has reclaimed the land, the large structure that is Windsor Castle continues to remain a spectacular memento of the Ancient Times. However, as alluring as this place may be, its surroundings are heavily teeming with monsters and there seems to be no current way to enter the mansion. Only the bravest or the most foolish would dare to venture to this castle.
Thames CoastlineA portion east of Londinium where the Thames River reaches the coastline. It is the primary place of access to the sea, where a number of mysterious and unexplored islands have been spotted along the coast.
Thames Marshland: The river that runs through the main city has also contributed to a variety of marshlands north of the area. It is said that bathing in the water, although smelly and pest-infested, is able to cure diseases. Of course, if you're willing to test that rumor out, you had better travel in a group.
Thames Marshland - Poison Bog: A deeper section of the marshlands with an elevated level of acidity. The monsters found in this area have developed a natural level of immunity to their surroundings.
Isle of Grain: The easternmost part of a peninsula where the Thames River mouth is located. A narrow land bridge is formed between the mainland during the lowest tides of the day. It is a natural estuary that is often used as a harbor and shipping market by Lander merchants.
Grain Village: A small village consisting of generations of Landers living an agrarian lifestyle. It is a nice change of pace from the bustling life of Londinium, allowing Adventurers to truly appreciate the beauty of the new world they've stumbled onto.
Isle of Thule: A mysterious island that suddenly appeared several kilometers east of the Thames River mouth. It is perpetually shrouded in fog and strong currents, making it difficult for anyone to properly land on its shores.
Graveyard of Ships: A large wreckage site bordering the Thule shoreline, filled with hazardously sharp rocks and broken debris from those who were brave or foolish enough to sail to the island. Perhaps you might come across treasure here, but you might also encounter the spirits of those less fortunate...
Temple of Tides: A mysterious temple dungeon found on the Isle of Thule. Depending on the tidal level, parts of the temple have a tendency to become flooded. This, coupled with a fair amount of puzzles and monsters, makes for a truly challenging area to practice combat in a watery environment.
Ultima Thule: The centralmost location of Thule features a sanctuary consisting of a fountain pool of pristine water which glows with a blue light. The most peculiar aspect about this area is that one can breathe even when underwater. While this detail might otherwise make the place a famous landmark, the water is massively deep and it is not known what might lie in the areas where light cannot reach...
Thames Riviera: A quaint little village to the east of the Londinium metropolis. It is situated beside the Thames River mouth that empties out to the sea, and is a short travel from the Isle of Grain. Were you a
homeowner in this area before? Maybe the building still stands...?
