While looking around Londenium, Caerbannog eventually found herself in the market area. And it was not just one busy street or some tents clustered in a small area... Londenium’s marketplace was the whole stretch of St.Pancras Station! Awed by the amount of wares on display, Kyuu looked around for useful things but found that most of them were priced beyond what she could afford. As the girl turned around, something that caught her eye made her completely stop in her tracks.
Puppets.
A woodcrafter had pierrots and controllers up for display, and as if that was not frightening enough, he noticed Kyuu and thought that she was a potential customer. With a puppet in hand, the woodcrafter approached the girl who was frozen in place but before he could even greet her, she managed to work up the courage to turn and run! Surprised, the woodcrafter went back to arrange his displays while Caerbannog ran off without a destination.
It was through that pointless running that she managed to find something which reminded her of home: a display of plushies. While very much afraid of ball-jointed dolls, automatons and such which create an illusion of life, Kyuu felt the exact opposite for plushies which were exaggerated, lifeless versions of various creatures. Unicorns, dogs, cats, frogs, cows, sheep, bearsharks - she had all of these as plushies at home, in her own little world. But there was one particular rabbit which she always carried around the house, and she kept it close as she slept.
The samurai looked at everything on the tailor’s display, but she found nothing which resembled her beloved Kuromimi. Moreover, the plushies’ prices were just as ludicrous as the price of every other crafted item on display. While hesitant to ask for help, she didn’t really know what else to do. She wanted a Kuromimi, and she wanted it now! So, Caerbannog looked over her friends list which contained a measly amount of two. Who to ask, Stryke or Kumori?
“ Saint Pancras Station, “ she decided to call Ryuu after all; and now she’d owe him again, " Plushies. "
Maybe that last part would be difficult to figure out. All she wanted was someone to help her look for a tailor who would not charge an arm and a leg for what she wanted. Due to her stature, Kumori might find it difficult to find her in the crowd but once he did, she'd point at the tailor and at the plushies until the other player understood what she meant.

Ryuu heard a chime as he was fighting off a Kabold, level 1. After defeating it, Ryuu looked opened up his menu and looked at his message system. It was sent from Kyuu. He scratched his head but he shrugged and opened it up anyways. It told him to meet her at the market. Ryuu looked back at the open field with several more monsters to clear. He was tempted to continue training, but he knew that this was Kyuu, and since he knew her from before and was also a legitimate friend of his, he felt obligated to help her. He wondered why she wanted to meet at the market, but all things aside, he collected his Gold and went towards the market.
When he got to the market a few minutes later, he looked around, trying to look for Kyuu. Looking for a short girl in a crowded place was near impossible. He walked through the crowd, weaving in and out around people to avoid getting shoved or shoving anyone. He was rather adept at it, as he was an Assassin, and with his better than normal agility, he would be able to deftly navigate throughout the crowd. Finally, after several minutes of searching through countless crowds, he found Kyuu, and tapped her on her shoulder. “Geez… you were hard to find… what’s up?” he asked. It seemed she was pointing at the plushie stand. He looked at it and then her, and then back at the stand. He finally looked back at Kyuu and asked: “Right… soo…” but before he could finish his question, she looked at him and began pointing at the stand. She pointed at the tailor stand and then she pointed at the plushes. It seemed she wanted someone to make it for her. “I could do it, but I don’t have..” and before he could finish that sentence, she pushed the materials into his hands. “Well then… I guess that solves everything… but what do you want me to…” and without fail, she began making a shape with her hand and making a gesture. It looked as if she was hugging something.
Ryuu had to think for a bit before he finally figured out what she wanted. “That rabbit plushie you always held onto?” he asked. She nodded enthusiastically, and the look in her eye told him he was correct. He smiled and nodded his head. “Alright…” He brought her to an open table and took out his sewing kit and he looked at the materials she gave him. Ryuu began picturing the plushie Kyuu had sent pictures to him of. It was rather impressive how many pictures he had of it. Once, when he visited her when she was sick at home, she wouldn’t let go of the thing, and he was able to see the full of it. Well, if worse comes to worst, he’d finally be told, instead of motioned to, about what he was doing wrong. He looked at her and then looked at the material. “I’ll do this, but only if you agree to start talking to me again… I mean, I know I teased you the other day, but please? I’m sorry for teasing you,” he said with a frown. He waited for her reply before he started to work on the plushie. “Promise you’ll finally talk to me like you usually do?” OOC NOTES: 566 words

Sign language was not as easy as it looked, but Caerbannog did not break down and speak. Instead, she kept pointing at the tailor and his wares until Ryuu got the message. From then on, the samurai nodded enthusiastically whenever Kumori made a correct assumption. It dawned upon her that he was a tailor. Lucky! Once the assassin laid out the materials, Kyuu positioned herself a little to the side so that she could oversee his work without being a bother. To make sure that he got it right, she pointed at the bright red button and then to her eyes; it meant that the rabbit had red button eyes. As for the length of the plushie’s ears, Caerbannog turned her hair to twin ponytails and put it above her head. By then, some passersby began to stare at her so the samurai quickly put her hands down, leaving a mess of hair all over her face.
It was then that Kumori brought up a peculiar deal. In exchange for the plushie, he wanted the samurai to speak to him. That confused Kyuu a bit, so it took a while before she fixed her messy hair up. Couldn’t he ask for money instead? What made him bring that up anyway? She’d always been... always been... waitaminute. Though she barely spoke in the real world and in Elder Tale, Kyuu was not naturally mute. She was diagnosed with selective mutism, a barrier that she’d put up between herself and unknown persons. But through the years of having known Ryuu and a few other people, the barrier eventually broke down. She was nowhere near as talkative as him of course, but she could see why he wasn’t used to her personality in the game.
“ Uhm... uhm... “ Kyuu debated whether she’d agree to Kumori’s demand or not.
But the girl needed an anchor, something that would keep her sane, something that would remind her of what she had and who she was- that she was human and not computer-generated imagery. And what better anchor could she have than her favorite plushie tailored by a friend whom she knew from beyond Elder Tale?
“ O-okay... “ she finally nodded. As for a starting topic, she admitted, “ I didn’t play in the Japanese server. Total newbie to Elder Tale. “

Ryuu smiled at her compliance. While he was a friend, he was somewhat of an older brother, always looking after Kyuu. Not many people got to know her because she was really quiet, but somehow, because they both liked playing games, they were able to become more than just acquaintances. It was more of the fact that Ryuu was in one of his General Education classes and decided to start playing games on his laptop because he thought the subject was boring. It was Kyuu who sat right next to him and noticed. It was pretty obvious she was entranced by the game he was playing. It was pretty much friendly gaming from then on. However, because they play similar games, it was rather surprising that she hadn’t played Elder Tales before. It was Kyuu who had taught Ryuu how to play games that were region locked, however the fact that he played in the Japanese server was somewhat limiting because of the language barrier. It didn’t stop them from playing Cabal, but hey, not everyone plays everything.
Ryuu took out an ink pen and began drawing an outline for the body. He began making every individual piece of the mouth, ears, and legs. While he was drawing the pieces together, Ryuu looked over at Kyuu to make sure that they were up to her specifications. He remembered that the mouth was simply blood red thread and the ears were blood red buttons. He picked them out as they were the ones that would go on last. He began cutting out the outlined body of the rabbit. He began to cut it out, looking over at Kyuu, making sure that she was giving her complete approval and changing anything that she thought was out of place or didn’t look right. After a good 3 minutes of cutting it out, he held it out and placed his hand in the middle in order to simulate the stuffing that would eventually go on. “Does it look alright, or is there something that seems off about it?” he asked her, trying to make it as puffy as possible. If she was okay with it, Ryuu would begin stitching the body together, leaving a hole so that he could stuff it through the hole. After sufficient stuffing placed within, he presented the body to Kyuu and then tried to remember what he saw in real life. He nodded, making an approval himself, and then waited for the approval of his client. After her approval, he would begin working on the ears and legs of the rabbit. Because these were a bit easier to make, he wanted to get the bigger parts done first so that he did not have to worry about it later. Since the bigger parts too longer to create, it was to save time if he had to make it again or fix it.
He looked at Kyuu’s eyes, as that would pretty much tell him if he was allowed to continue or not. OOC NOTES: 503 words

Although Kyuu could do basic tailoring in the real world, she did not take up that crafting class in Elder Tale. Therefore the girl was not entirely sure if whatever Kumori was doing was correct or not. As long as the item looked anything like her Kuromimi, she was fine with it. The tailor got mostly nods and thumb-ups from the samurai; from the outline to the first few stitches, nothing seemed to be off. The girl did not expect a perfect replica anyway; it was enough that there was someone who could make an Elder Tale version of her rabbit plushie.
When Kumori finished the body and put it up for her to see, Caerbannog looked the plushie over. Not a seam was out of place, if one was to consider the craftsmanship. The material was not durable though, given the low quality of the items that she provided. But that was out of Kumori's hands; he was merely a tailor who would put the pieces together. After considering what he had made so far, Kyuu gave him two thumbs-up and waited for him to continue. If the ears of the rabbit were too short, she would politely point it out by putting the unfinished plushie on her head and gesturing that the ears should go down to her shoulders.
" Why tailor? " she would ask while waiting for Kumori to finish the plushie.
Once he was done, she'd pay the tailor's fee if any, say 'Hello Kuromi' to the black rabbit, hug it tightly and she'd be on her way.

When Kyuu began giving him thumbs up, he nodded and continued. While she wasn’t talking, he knew it still took her time to adjust to the new world and to adjust to opening up again. He didn’t mind it as much now, now that she agreed to his terms. She’d speak more and more eventually, at least to him, but in due time. Ryuu began working on with the other black fabric he was given. He began making the pieces for the ears and the four legs. He began drawing the ear on the fabric, and then she tapped him on the shoulder. He looked up to see her motioning that the ears were actually longer. Ryuu nodded and drew more lines so that the ears would be longer, about shoulder length to the bunny.
After he sewed and stuffed it, he sewed it onto the body at the top. He examined the product and was satisfied with the placement. Next, was the legs. The legs, from what he remembered, were pretty short. He’d draw each one, cut them all out, and then stuff them as he did with everything else. He sewed each of the legs into their spots. Now all was left was the eyes, mouth, and all the other things that required a little more sewing in order to look more like a bunny. It was then that Kyuu asked him a question. “Well apparently, each of the crafting classes give you some benefits in battle. It seemed that Tailor was most suited for Assassins. As you know, optimization is always my goal.” he said, explaining his decision.
After attaching the blood-red buttons onto the face where the eyes went, he began stitching with the red thread. He began sewing the mouth onto the bunny, and then nodded in satisfaction at the overall piece, but he was missing something. Ryuu grabbed a puff of fabric, resembling a cotton ball. It was black, like the fabric, and he attached it at the hind legs of the Rabbit. Finally it was finished. He presented the plushie to his friend and then smiled.
“No payment needed. You’re my friend, and friends don’t need to pay me for things… Besides, you already provided the materials. When it gets all beat up and stuff, let me know. I’ll remake it and make it even better,” he said, patting the girl's head again. With all his sewing done, he was satisfied and wondered what’d he’d do next. OOC NOTES: 414 words
