During the days that followed the apocalypse Leo was pretty much convinced like anyone else that everyone got transported into a carbon copy of the game in a real world. In all honesty they had all the motives to think so, all the rules that governed the game prior to the apocalypse were still there, the only thing that really changed was the personality of the people of the land and the fact that you didn't control everything behind a computer screen, instead, you had to do everything in first person, which rendered many tasks difficult to accomplish.
Beside these motives ,however, there were a few hints that left many people perplexed around the true nature of that world. The combat system, for example, became much different than it was prior of the apocalypse. The combat was actually way more dynamic than before, people had to fight with their bodies like they would in a real fight and they could chain skills without the aid of the menu just by thinking about them. After enough adventurers find out about this, many began questioning if there were other things in this world that differed from its game counterpart and soon they found their answer with the crafting system. Some people in fact discovered that if you didn't use the menu to craft your materials but instead worked them with the proper tools like in the real world, you could create things that didn't exist in the game.
This news surprised many adventurers and Leo wasn't unaffected too, being able to create things that didn't exist prior to the apocalypse was a really good incentive for him to finally start developing his crafting skill. Leo had been neglecting that skill to much to be honest, all he did was fighting and raising his main class level along his berserker class but he was starting to feel that he would soon grow bored of combat, also from the little crafting attempts he made he found that the process of creating things with his artisan class was fun and engaging.
Above all things, Leo wanted to give it a try at creating something, players all over London were creating all kind of things even though their crafting levels weren't much higher than his so why couldn't he give it a shot too?
Still it was easier said than done, what could he create with his own artisan class at the moment considering his low level? Leo suddenly found that not paying attention at his art classes during school didn't really help him out at the moment, he literally knew next to nothing regarding art, the sole reason he picked the artisan class in the first place was because he was confident on system menu crafting, he couldn't have anticipated that he would have been sucked inside the game.
Leo tried to forcefully come with an idea, collecting every piece of thought and trying to glue them together to make something good out of....them?
"EUREKA"
He exclaimed, why didn't he think of that earlier? A simple mosaic made with painted stones, nothing too fancy or difficult for his level and according to his knowledge no one had yet attempted researching this kind of artistic technique. Without wasting any more time, Leo brought out all the necessary tools from his inventory and started to organize them around the inn room, having an ordinate workplace would greatly help him in his crafting attempt.
A thought then crossed his mind, what if the innkeeper didn't allow crafting in her own inn? Leo shrugged and continued organizing his stuffs, he just had to be careful to not let her find out what he was doing.
