Lost in Translation... Again! [Bunji / Scouting - Complete]

So there was word sent out that there was going to be a new area that needed mapping and exploring, so of course, Han here was one of the first to actually sign up for it. She knew that it would definitely take some time to get a proper expedition team going; but seeing as nobody was signing up for it, she then decided to be the first…and just as a prank, she added another name as well, because there was no way in hell she was going to go through this alone. Who knew what evil would appear when they started going through the area together?! And besides, it helps to have company on something this crazy… she thought to herself as she waited for him to arrive. She then contented herself by waiting up in the branches of the nearest tree; just because she was an Elf didn’t mean she would always be on the ground forever, would she?

If there was one thing that Han (or Momo / Keira, whatever anyone wanted to call her) loved, it was climbing up trees; hell back out in the real world she’d built a tree house back in the orphanage back in Japan, and nobody but herself and a few of her most trusted could join her up in the shade of the giant cherry blossom tree that was the building’s namesake. Hah, wonder where he is… she thought once again, quickly securing herself to the sturdy branch she was camping out on and then swinging herself so that she hung upside-down from the branch. She knew that the blood was rushing right into her head, but she paid it no heed; and then she finally said something, out of sheer impatience…

"Ā. Soko ni tanken-ka no tame no atarashī shōkan-jōdesunode, dokoni jigoku wa karedesu! Nanideare, kare o totte iru!"*

With a loud yawn his ears would stiffen, his arms would stretch out over his head, and his legs would straighten his tail would find itself just as straight too. Reaching over he scratched the top of his head, his fox ears folding, and flopping easily manipulated by the weight of his moving hand he hated when people touched his ears but at the same time he only tolerated himself touching the ears. It was then that his messenger was going off the male would blink a few times before pressing the icon that was hovering right in his face, when he did a rather short message was revealed. When he noticed the sender was he would blink a bit his eyes wide, and a light blush coloring his cheeks as he thought back to the girl that he had seen naked at the river....the male would shake his head, pushing the thoughts to the back of his head as he rose from his feet exiting the message board. "Better get going" he said scratching the idea of his face then starting his march in the general direction of where the girl had told him to meet her.

Luckily he had ventured into Serum earlier so he was able to get there rather quickly, Bunji would push through the surrounding wilderness until he made it to a clearing that seemed to connect to a nearby road, it was there that he looked up his keen nose catching the familiar scent of the elven girl. His red eyes settled upon her familiar yet attractive features, raising a hand he would give her a wave that was accompanied by a soft smile on those masculine features of his. "Hey there Han!" he said using the shorter version of her name, whether the girl came down or not he would take his eyes from her looking around; this area was new, and unexplored. It had caused for a higher demand in explorers, those willing to venture into the unknown lands, and map these many terrains; set the stepping stones for any new adventurers who would venture into this place. He could not help but smirk at the thought of hos exciting this was, he was actually contributing to something, better than sleeping at least.

"Ready to start?" he would finally ask his attention seemingly returning to the elven girl.

She was still hanging upside-down from the branch when someone (who was apparently walking on the sky) suddenly shimmered into her point of view—and this individual had a mop of messy red hair. Smirking for just a few seconds, she then pulled herself back up into the tree and proceeded to untangle herself before dropping out of the tree and landing lithely on two feet. “Koko de shutoku suru no ni jūbun ni wa jikan ga kakatta...”* she said, before flashing him another wicked grin and then pawing through her inventory. She’d already had a ‘talk’ (of some sort) with the camp site’s head explorer, and she was given two maps and special ‘marking pens’ that would fill out said map in detail once they got to exploring. She remembered the big, burly guy saying “Every bit helps” or something along those lines, but what really got to her was the funny way he looked at her the first time she’d spoken to him in Japanese and he looked at her like he was crazy!

“Sokode, wareware wa akiraka ni, karera wa karera o tasukeru tame ni watashitachi ni irai suruhitsuyōgārunode, chien shite iru••• eria o mappu suru tame ni koko ni iru. Nanideare, koreha no o nashitogerumashou...”** she said a few moments later, finally getting her hands on the extra copy of the map and special marking brush that they were to use while doing this ‘errand’ for the so-called ‘higher-ups’. Plus, he looks so strong; I’d definitely need a bodyguard if in case something comes out of the shadow and chases us… she thought to herself, hiding this very mischievous grin on her face before turning around to face him. “Tonikaku, wareware wa hondai ni nagura reru mae no, ikimashou,”*** she added after that potentially awkward moment of silence, her own map and marking equipment in hand.

As always Bunji did not understand a word she was saying, well at least she was pretty she had that going for her he watched as the girl rolled about in the skies then came plummeting down for a surprisingly soft landing in front of him. Staring at her he would only remain quiet as he watched her pull out a piece of paper, and a special brush. Taking what he assumed was his equipment he just nodded as she spoke, her words really hitting nothing but deaf ears he had no idea what she was saying to begin with. Staring a the equipment though he could make a very educated guess, nodding he would turn in a direction towards the distance "Guess we should get going" he said to the girl with a soft smile before turning his attention from her to the path he had come across upon arriving here.

Bunji would waste no time to draw in the details of this path, as he walked it he found himself using the brush to draw in the opening with all the trees that started the path the trees though poorly drawn would be defined nicely by the ink once he ha drawn them, then from there the long path would begin to form as he drew it in. "I guess we should mark any interesting landmarks we come across" he said as he took his eyes from the paper it is then that he would notice a great big tree, rather deformed looking but it had some nice spaces to fit into for some rest. "Like this!" he said to the ninja girl drawing into the map the details of the giant tree he had come across. The tree would be drawn in, Bunji would label it with the words 'Possible Rest Spot' over the top of it. Once he was done detailing the tree he would turn to Han to make sure she herself had drawn it in, turning from her he would raise a hand waving it at her to follow "Let's not get separated, we don't know this area very well" he said to the girl as he motioned for her to stay close as he moved further up ahead

She could only watch in wonder as her companion immediately bounded off, without a care in the world. Secretly wondering if she’d made the right choice to take him along on a simple mapping quest, she began looking around and began adding in certain portions of the map; starting from the point that said ‘You are Here’. She was thinking if the map would light up upon completion or if it would do something weird—but at that point her companion had already gone so far ahead she was in danger of getting left behind! “Oi! Watashi o matsu!¹” she shouted, scrambling to keep up with him; marking off the weird, gnarly-looking tree that he’d marked off. She then managed to catch up to him after some time—and she saw that he was looking at her map as well to make sure that she’d gotten that on it.

“Sore ni tsuite shinpaishinaide, watashi wa sudeni ki ga mākudaun sa rete iru. Dono yō ni soko no sorera no pasu wa dōdeshou ka?²” she asked, pointing towards several branching, beaten-out pathways that seemingly led off into nowhere. She quickly marked those in, and was secretly surprised to see that even if she’d only drawn rudimentary lines and such, the point of the special marking pen made it possible for someone with zero talent in drawing to actually make something passable. After watching it fill in, she then contemplated on what to mark it, and then scratched something in her native script, but offering her best English translation as well underneath it, stating ‘Beaten Paths?’

“Sā, wareware wa mada kabā suru chijō no ōku o motte, ikou...³” she trailed off, walking forward and then continuing to mark in the rest of the blank map. She was quite surprised to see that a portion of the map was now coming to life; even with her sketchy additions.

The young man continued to draw into the map his special brush being used to its fullest capacity as he kept drawing in crude drawings, many of which consisted of a large gaping hole they had come across one that was seemingly filled with deadly looking thorns, almost gave the vibe of being a gaping mouth. He had titled it 'dangerous hole' over the top then from there he found himself drawing in a large open field, a field that seemed nearly endless it was decorated with a natural bed of different colored flowers he would draw this in his brush detailing it all in. The title at the top of this read 'Endless Fields' stopping for a moment he would tilt his head, then turn towards the ninja girl his eyes focused on her for a moment. His red eyes admiring her natural beauty, her feminine features, the way her black hair cascaded around it...shaking his head the fox tail let his ears twitch as they picked up some nearby sounds.

Turning he would duck approaching slowly his tail wagging curiously as he got closer, the male stopping behind a tree peeking over it off in the distance he spotted a small group of full grown boars there was about three...no four the fourth emerged soon after. The spot seemed to be a breeding ground for these animals, or perhaps it was their turf such as a wolf having a den? He was unsure but they were dangerously close to the path, and these pigs were known for going aggro without being provoked; so he was quick to draw in the details of the spot he had discovered, glancing back at the path him, and Hanelli had been on he would judge the distance. Drawing in the spot he would write 'Caution, Wild Boars' over the top before heading back to the path once he felt he was safely away from earshot of the boars hearing him he would wave at Han. "Come here!" he said beckoning for her to come close, showing her the map he would point at the boar spot he had drawn in, better she copy it from his map instead of going over there; no need to risk the boars getting mad.

While Han kept an eye on the redhead as he advanced even further through the area, she decided to take the opposite path instead; it really felt like there was this sense of déjà vu permeating the air; but she shook it off instead. Her chosen path seemed to be a bit more on the ‘deserted’ side, and dead tree stumps and dead trees themselves figured prominently through this part of the area. She then began drawing stick figures that represented dead trees; and was surprised to see that the ‘magical brush’ was actually rendering them in properly; the avenue of dead trees bloomed into life on the paper that she was holding. After labeling them in her native language, she added some basic English translations underneath as well; it said ‘Dead Trees’, before she moved forward.

At that point she had reached the ‘end’ of the dead tree ‘avenue’; and she could see that there was another wide expanse of field; but this one looked different—instead of seeing vibrant, lush greenery, this part looked more decrepit and even more haunted than the last part she’d been through! Seeing that there were several ‘skeletons’ scattered here and there, she quickly began sketching them in roughly and then labeled it once more in her preferred hand; before adding the corresponding translation underneath: ‘Dead Field’. Wondering if there was going to be more than just dead stuff in this area, she sighed, and turned her back on the wide expanse and made her way back.

Han had just arrived at the point where the paths branched off when her companion returned, calling her attention! She then made her way over to him; making sure to balance the map and the marking pen in her hand. She was quite surprised to see that his side of the map was getting filled up somewhat as well; and was asked to follow him; before they were squatting down behind an area; and then he was giving her his copy of the map. What am I supposed to do with this? she thought, before he started gesturing, pointing back and forth between his map and hers. “Anata wa asokodeattaga, watashi wa ippai ni watashi no ikutsu ka no bubun o eta. Kokode wa, mite, dakedenaku, sore o kopī shite kudasai,¹” she said with a pointed look, making the same hushed gestures between his copy of the map and hers—while she was filling in her side with what he’d gotten down so far.

Even if there was the inevitable language barrier between them, if they did gestures that were understandable, at least the two could communicate!

Bunji found this task a bit daunting, he had to keep gesturing the two of them might as well take sign language lessons from the mute samurai girl he would shake the thoughts off as he watched the girl fill in her map copying what he had drawn in, when she was done he would nod at her using his brush to draw in the parts he had missing. This made things a bit more easier no seeing as they could copy off one another without having to walk around, once he was done he would rise from the crouching position with his map in hand then began to walk down the path. The young man started drawing the path further down, every now, and then his brush drawing in the details of another note worthy landmark he would come across. The two would eventually walk down a path that seemed to be filled with absolutely nothing but flat plains on either side, his head would turn to both sides taking in the details of the surrounding not noticing anything worth putting in the map.

Then he spotted them, raising a hand he would lean back against the girl his arm unknowingly pressing against her chest, the fox tail would perk his ears, and his tail would tense as his red eyes focused on the distance "Come on, move off the path!" he said brushing his arm across the girls breasts before running off to the side pulling the ninja girl by the arm. Bunji slid behind some trees, and signaled for Hanelli to get low just as he was he would turn over his shoulder to peek from behind the tree. The ground would shake with their heavy stomps the closer the herd got, the more of it shook "Stay low" he whispered glancing at the girl his hand motioning downward for her to get the picture. He would glance from behind the tree looking over at the path, and there they were the menace of this forest the ones who would crush them to particles if they weren't careful.

His eyes darted from golem to golem, they bodies littered with cracks the dry soil on the surface falling apart as they kept moving along their small group of four passing along. Bunji waited until they had completely past them once the Golems were gone he let out a long sigh of relief, looking back at the girl with a smile giving her a nod, and a thumbs up. He was completely oblivious to the fact that his arm had groped and molested her chest just moments ago. "That was a close one no?" he said to her with a chuckle feeling a sense of relief, at their current skill level dealing with those golems would have been a pain in the ass.

At least the gesturing was working—she saw that he was copying off her map, and that was all well and good. She was almost done copying off of his when he suddenly stood up and then started walking forward—if she was standing up at the moment, she’d have stamped her foot out of annoyance, because she wasn’t quite finished copying down the entire section of his map yet! “Nē, matte! Watashi wa mada owatte inai yo!¹” she was heard to have said, before huffing impatiently in his direction and getting up from her seated position, and inevitably following him down the path instead. She found it very unusual for the surroundings to be quiet—in fact, it was too quiet—until she heard him call her attention—and then she got dragged off to one side! “Nani?! Sore o mitekudasai!²” she yelped a few seconds later; before she found herself crouched down low—and then trouble just happened to trundle by.

He was waving something in her face, and all she could do was taking it from his hands—and then, something happened that made her ears burn red. His hand had inadvertently found itself on her rather…flat…chest and she was now not just flustered, but downright peeved! What the neep is he doing?! This pervert! She thought angrily as she made quiet, yet insistent swatting gestures on his hand—and the next best thing to do after he turned back to her and gave her a thumbs-up gesture…was to gently bite the closest thumb that was waving in her face! “Sore wa watashi o mosaku suru tame ni ne...³” she hissed, while gesturing to his hand and then pointing at her chest area again, it was helpful that her face was burning red out of either anger or embarrassment, she left it to him to guess what she really wanted to convey. After that, she then took his map and continued to copy down the rest of the details that she’d not completely finished yet.

“Anata wa, watashi ga mada okonawa rete inai, amarini mo hayaku satta…⁴” she trailed off, gesturing to her incomplete map, and then quickly getting back to completing all of the missing details that she’d forgotten to draw in.

What happened next was to say the least unexpected, the male would stand there his finger, well his thumb would suddenly be chomped down hard by the girl Bunji's eyes would swell with tears, and his teeth bit down hard to prevent him from screaming when Hanelli finally released him he yanked his hand back covering it with his other hand. "Ga...Gah! That hurt!" he cried out bending over onto his knees rubbing his thumb, feeling it pulse, and sting wildly it would start to die down the pulsing pain but either way he got annoyed. She bit him for no damn reason! He looked up ready to scold when the girl with puffed cheeks, and a deep blush pointed at her chest, then at his hand then back at her Bunji would put two, and two together. With an intense blush the male stood upright clearing his throat rather harshly, looking away as it to make sure there were no enemies nearby he stood waiting for the girl to finish copying his map. He had once again perved out on this girl by complete accident. With a deep internal sigh the young fox tail found himself lost in his thoughts for a moment, as he kept look out when suddenly he turned to see if the girl was done.

Walking over he took his map, "Come on slowpoke" he said to the girl with a smirk before turning back to the path motioning with his hand he beckoned for the girl to follow as he rushed to the path. Once he was on it he would begin to draw into the map taking in notes of places he decided where decent enough to make note of for any travelers who in the future would need this map to guide them through this new found landscape. The fox tail continued to draw, and design his map with patches here, and there that had important landmarks drawn into them with appropriate markers overhead to give the travelers a clear view. "I think we should be wrapping this up soon!" he called back to Hanelli as he kept a few steps ahead, his attention over his shoulder at her, unaware of the dangers that waited for them ahead.

She was secretly pleased when the fox-man jumped backwards out of surprise and shock—and then he finally deduced by putting two and two together, and she was trying her hardest to conceal the smirk that was flowering across her face since she saw his face turn a deep shade of red—as red as his hair in all honesty—and then stood up before making a very pointed coughing noise. That gave her enough time to complete the remaining segment of the map that she hadn’t finished drawing in yet; and then she stood up and then began following him ever so slowly… where were they headed? “Watashi wa, nanika ga okoru no o matte, sora o bon'yari to mie, aru ikimonode wa nai nda•••¹” she trailed off, referencing a certain creature in a certain game that was known for being extremely ‘slow’; but following him all the same. This time they were going through the area together; so she decided to help fill in the map as well—it was mostly dead trees and dead stuff everywhere.

Why would they want to expand towards a place that is dead on all counts? Are they nuts? She thought to herself as she watched her own map expand and bloom into color; they were filling it up at a decent clip… when she realized that she’d walked headfirst into a wandering group of Golem Sentries. “Anata wa watashi o karaka~tsu suru hitsuyō ga!²” she shouted as the group of four Golem sentries caught sight of her—and began lumbering in her direction! “KAMISAMA NO HAA!³” she shouted again as she quickly sprang into action—unwinding the rope that was coiled around her right arm and then proceeding to move as quick as she could manage—for she didn’t want to get caught under a hailstorm of flailing fists and powerful bashing attacks! Seeing that her left hand was still holding the mapping equipment, she quickly scratched in a quick detail labeled in English as ‘Danger: Golem Sentries’ and then tossed it off to one side!

“Tada, soko ni tatte no ue ni kite, watashi wa korera o oidasu tasukete wa ikenai!⁴” she huffed a few moments later, letting the kunai fly—hoping to strike it from a distance.

The girl would speak her native tongue again, her words hitting deaf ears Bunji had taken to pretty much ignoring her this time he would not strain his ears trying to figure out what she was saying when he had zero knowledge on her native tongue. He would continue to walk until they came across what looked like no man's land, a vast plain filled with nothing but dead vegetation for a moment the Fox Tail stood in silence until the elven girl sprung into action. There were no need for words now he drew his katana, it was obvious from her tone, and her sudden launching of her kunai that there were enemies to be fought. Bunji would rush ahead passing the girl as he made his way towards a hill standing at the top he came across four Golems, it was too late to hide this time. The pack of monsters made their way up the hill one of them speeding ahead of the pack as it got even closer to Bunji the young samurai would smirk waiting for it to make a move, when it did he would dash to the side avoiding the wild downward strike, his ears twitched at the thundering sound of the Golems heavy fist slamming into the ground.

He would smirk taking his opening dashing forward Bunji would swing his katana downward "Kabutowari!" he cried out allowing the sharp edge of his katana to meet with the Golems body, the boosted damage from the attack causing heavy damage to its HP bar, and Kabutowari's ability kicking in lowering the HP even more. The Golem would let out a deep howling cry as it swung its arm at Bunji, again the male dodged the lumbering giant this time activating a chain 2 attack, "Izunagiri!" he cried out as he raised his sword then quickly swung it down releasing a powerful wind blade. The attack crashed against the Golems solid body, digging into its hard flesh, and knocking it down the hill but but not killing it, Bunji's commotion had caused the other Golems to focus on him the other three already working their way up the hill.

"HEY! ASIAN GIRL! HIT THEM NOW!" he yelled out as he focused on the incoming trio Bunji stayed light on his feet avoiding them the best he could, their slow sluggish swings were easy to deal with when it was one; but three at once? It was madness, before he knew it he was hit his eyes wide with pain, and his oxygen forced out of his lungs as it was sent propelling down the hill crashing onto the dead pile of logs nearby. He coughed and twitched as he tried to stand, looking up to see his HP bar had dropped significantly, a grin would spread on his face as he stood up his katana was off in the distance having slipped out of his hand. Opening the menu Bunji would make quick selections, equipping his second weapon of choice, a spear! Holding the pole weapon in his hand he took a stance, watching as the four Golems traveled down the hill towards him, one of them bearing a deep scar on his torso.

She was surprised that the projectile had hit the Golem that was lumbering in his direction—at least she had dawn its attention away from him; if but momentarily. She was itching to fire off her only ranged attack; but realized that electricity was literally useless against ground-types such as these. Heh, the things you learn thanks to playing so much Pokémon… she thought with a grin which suddenly went upside-down and turned into a frown; as the Golems changed direction and went for him instead! Oh crap. Well, not my problem… she thought, quickly yanking back the rope and watching as the kunai returned to her. Hoisting the rope around her shoulders, she quickly changed weapons and took out her dagger, and then brought it close to her body; before doing the insane: charging directly at the Golem that was already swinging its fists and attempting to bash his head in!

She was surprised to see that he’d drawn them away from her—and they were now lumbering down a hill—and she saw him launch several of his attacks on one of the four—and she knew that in order for him to survive the onslaught, she would have to take down at least one, if not two, of the slow, lumbering inanimate objects that were headed his way—and that spelled doom if he didn’t get rid of them! “Hitori de akage no henjin o nokosu!¹” she shouted, as she finally launched herself from a running start into a leap; and then suddenly came bearing down on one of the four Golems; and stabbed the one she landed on right in the head; before using the resulting force to spring away from it; because the fists of the one she’d just attacked attempted to reach up and grab her!

“Iya, watashi wa anata ga watashi ni fureru senai yo•••²” she hissed to herself as she dashed off to one side; and seeing that one of them (the one that had a deep gash on its body) had finally turned its attention towards her, she quickly dashed forward again and delivered a series of random slashes across its legs; she was trying her hardest to sweep it out from underneath its lumbering feet. It was some slow going, but after what felt like another eternity, the Golem finally exploded into bits of data—but not without her suffering some sort of injury—mostly mud splatter all over her face. “Iya³,” she said simply, spitting some of the mud that she’d accidentally ingested when the Golem had come charging at her with what looked like a mud bomb attack it had tried lobbing in her direction.

Seeing that there were still three more left to get rid of, she picked up the pace and made a mad dash down the rest of the hill, using the gained speed as momentum in order to be able to take another flying leap and come down with another surprise aerial attack on the nearest Golem that was still trying to lumber down the hill—and managed to score a slashing attack on it before aiming a kick on its head—and then jumping away; hoping that this one’s attention would be drawn to her instead! she hoped for the best as she quickly let the dagger fly as well; signaling her intent on engaging this Golem so that he would only have to deal with two instead of three. She held her breath as the dagger whistled through the air; before striking the hard surface of the Golem—it was definitely irritated at this point; and came lumbering towards her once again!

Perfect. Time to take this one out as well, she thought as she plunged into the heat of battle; the Golem that had engaged her was now swinging its fists in a mad, flailing dance in her direction as she tried to get as close as she could without getting knocked back—but there was a slight miscalculation, as she saw an opening and quickly moved in to strike, yet was pushed back instead by a powerful, clobbering blow! “Nani kuso! Anata ga dageki o uke, anata minikui ikimono!⁴” she shouted, hiding the wince on her face as she felt all the wind getting knocked out of her. She then readied herself for another attack just as it came lumbering in for an over handed swing—and instead it hit nothing; as she’d rolled off to one side and was now closing the distance with as much speed as she could muster, and delivered another series of generic slashing attacks, before finally getting the idea of aiming a kick in order to knock the Golem off-balance even more—it was having some difficulty getting its fists out of where it had smashed them!

“Un ga jibun no michi o mukatte iru yō ni miemasu...⁵” she said with a grin as she saw the Golem floundering; she then went in for another series of slashing attacks; and after another long while, this Golem exploded into data bits as well. Kind of reminds me of killing stuff in another game… wonder how my partner is doing at this time… she thought, memories of another déjà vu event suddenly flooding her waking thoughts. She then shook them off and then looked up; seeing that there were two more Golems left, she picked herself up and then continued the mad dash down the hill; shouting what passed off as a battle cry at the top of her lungs!

Out of nowhere she came from the skies plummeting down to the head of one of the golems, the girls wild antics served to aid Bunji the golems being sensitive to nearby vibrations would have their attention pulled from him towards the girl taking this chance the male ran straight for the group, however when he moved one of the golems seemed to take notice. It turned towards his reaction swinging an arm, this cause Bunji to react his red eyes widening as he ducked under the swing barely avoiding it, and almost losing his balance. Coming to a complete stumble he would force himself to dive into a shoulder roll, this caused him to land on one knee but also closer to his sword. He would look back over his shoulder at the incoming golem, Bunji smirked waiting for the golem to get close when it did he grabbed his spear firmly then stepped into a strong thrust pushing his spear into the golems chest the beast reacted by stumbling back. Bunji pulled back dashing closer to his sword, once he was near it he spun the spear around stabbing the sharp end into the ground allowing the spear to stand in place, kneeling down he picked up his katana.

Feeling more comfortable now he would take a stance gripping the hilt firmly as he waited for the golem to approach the spear lodged into its body, with a deep breath Bunji would exhale activating his skill stepping forward he rushed with a quick dash covering the distance between him and the golem. The creature itself grabbing the spear to rip it from its body tossing it aside, this gave Bunji the opportunity he needed to step into the attack range of his katana "Kabutowari!" he cried out swinging the sword with a single strong slash. The golem would cry out in pain as its HP lowered even more, adjusting his grip Bunji would swing upwards stepping back he would spin his body swinging the sword again horizontally. The combination of attacks hacked away at the golems HP the beast would fall back its lumbering body threatening to slam against the floor just to burst into data particles before even touching the ground.

With that golem down he had another to deal with the golem was already making its way towards him it was within striking range swinging its strong limbs at him Bunji would step to the side avoiding one swing, ducking to avoid another, and then jumping back avoiding the final swing. Stepping in again Bunji slashed at the arm, then jumped up to land on it just as the golem was raising it then the creature aim to swat him with the other arm bu the nimble fox tail pushed off the arm letting the creature hit its own arm. Coming down Bunji would land behind the golem then spin around releasing one horizontal slash then quickly bringing the sword back for another, the golem spun around angrily howling as it swung at him again. Yet he was able to again duck avoiding the attack once he was out of range he strapped in thrusting his katana into the golems chest pushing it as far as he could, this resulted in the monsters HP dropping the rest of the way causing it to burst into data.

The battle was done, the midday sun was setting, and the dark would soon cast a blanket over this landscape Bunji would slide his katana into its scabbard glancing over at Hanelli, he motioned with his hand towards her for her to follow. He would turn walking back to the path which brought them here in the first place, his hand, and brush in hand having taken it from his waist belt after finishing his golems. He woud make sure to pick up his spear as he walked along quietly.

Han continued to watch until the remaining two Golems were decimated, watching as one after another, they exploded into bits of data—was it really just her, or was she seeing things—when he finally beckoned in her direction. What, he wants me to follow him now? Well, better safe than sorry! She thought as she quickly coiled the rope around her right shoulder (as she always did) and finally stowed her weapons away. She knew that if they stayed out here any longer, darker and more evil things would make their presence known once night fell on this unknown land. Yikes, so definitely getting out of here! She thought as she quickly picked up the fallen mapping instruments; and adding in a few more things of note; and she looked once again at the map; seeing that it was almost complete, she continued to fill in the rest of the missing details, watching as the blank piece of paper finally filled out nicely—and there was a now-complete map of the areas that they’d explored staring at her in the face.

Gah, now, how to overcome the language barrier… she thought to herself; perhaps she could enlist someone’s help in order to be able to avoid potentially awkward situations like this in the future…? She sighed, before finally getting an idea… she snuck up as best as she could on the fox-tail, and gave his own wagging tail a quick, but gentle, yank, and then began whistling as she started to walk beside him. Who knew that Han was such a prankster?
