1,316 PENUMBRO UNCLE AND NIECE IN A TIME OF PEACE ❀ | "How on Earth would I train Pharmacist?" A little blonde haired ball of utter mischief sat upon a boulder in the great valley of Windsor Greatwood. She hadn't strayed too far from town but she was out far enough to where almost everything that she could see was grasslands and tree tops. Sitting upon a boulder that was at the base of an enormous oak tree, she folded her arms and heaved a heavy sigh. After assimilating to the customs and traditions of this world, she decided to take a step in the right direction and increase her knowledge on this world's workings. So far, it hadn't been working out well. She was absolutely positive on how to increase her levels and cleverness when it came to Assassin and Tracker. Though when it came to Pharmacist, she was at a loss. The prospect of creating magnificent potions that could heal 100 HP points in one go was attractive, though the real notion that drew her towards the subclass was being able to poison someone with a potion rendering them useless in a fight. Snickering to herself, some of the wild life around her could practically feel the waves of mischief emitting from the little girl. Though a heavy sigh followed as she lulled her head back pressing it to the bark of the tree. There would be no way that she'd be able to make her dream a reality if she couldn't grasp the simple concept of accelerating her level in the class. Perhaps it was safe to say that Pharmacist was a useless class though that would also be the same as her admitting defeat. Suddenly a spark formed in her mind and her eye twitched, she would never admit defeat. Pushing away from the bark, she climbed off the boulder before hearing a snort behind her. Turning on her heel, she noticed a Pitter Boar trotting towards a peculiar looking herb. Raising her eyebrow, she took a hesitant step backwards. Silent Move. Disappearing to the naked eye, she watched the Pitter Boar not wanting to expel it from this world rather observe its movements. The animal began to chew on the herb and after swallowing it, its movements became rather rigid. It's eyes widened and it didn't move at all seemingly stuck in the position that it was in. Her eyes widened slightly and she stepped away from the boulder slowly walking towards the boar. Circling around it in a slow pace, she counted the seconds that it was stuck in such a state accumulating up to around twenty. The animal's leg twitched first then it slowly began to move once again shaking off the stiffness in it's bones. Snickering slightly as it ambled off clear of her line of sight. This would only brew an evil plan in her little head, there had to be something special in that herb that would make a paralysis effect on the animals. There was only one way to test it and that was by eating it herself. Heading into a nearby underbrush, she was able to uncover several more look-alikes to the one that the animal consumed. However, some were different colors and she wondered what their uses would hold. Nonetheless, she picked out the one that she had witnessed and looked it over before eating some of the petals on it. Her eyes widened, and she slowly began to feel her body numb until she was stuck staring blankly unable to move her body but her mind was going on at miles per hour. She was excited, this truly was a paralysis herb though after twenty seconds was up - she was moving once again. Breathing shallowly, she looked at it before snickering to herself. Perhaps if she tricked most of the wildlife into eating the other herbs, she'd be able to figure out what they did. The one that she consumed was a pristine white color, the others were red, green, purple, blue and orange. Collecting them all, she wandered a ways from the under brush carrying them in her arms. Along the way, she dropped several leaving them in random place for the animals to pick up as though they were originally there. Some she dropped into a cluttered space, and others she just spread out carefully. Now all she had to do was sit and wait to see what they would do. Wandering off quite a ways, she climbed up a tree and rested against the bark while her body was supported by the branch. Folding her arms over her chest, she looked out at her creation with a smile. Sure enough, a few animals had come by. A Frenmic Rabbit, a young Pitter Boar, and an adult Pitter Boar. The Frenmic Rabbit seemed a little hurt possibly from an adventurer considering that its HP was at 20%. It ate one of the green herbs and 10% of its HP was restored. The young Pitter Boar was next, and it ate one of the red herbs - it squealed in delight as its HP rose 40% from its original 60%. The adult Pitter Boar that came next ate one of the purple herbs, and its body grew quite stiff. She could see a poison symbol next to its name, and small toxic bubbles arise as it tried to breathe content to lay on its side. So the purple herb was poisonous, the red herb increase 40% of Hp and the green herb restored 10% of HP. That was an amazing discovery, however it was one that would need quite a limiter. The blue and orange hadn't been eaten, and what would happen if she combined some of them together. Though the only way to do that was to gather more of the herbs, analyze them and mix them together. She'd also need a guinea pig to test it out on. What if she tried her herb testing on an actual adventurer rather than a simple boar or rabbit? That would give her an advantage to see how it'd react to a human. A smile formed on her lips and she surveyed the area for anyone near the tree. No one had been coming at the moment but that didn't mean that they wouldn't come. Though what if they didn't come, then she'd be bored forever. Letting out a tired sigh, she put her arms behind her head and kicked her feet back and forth waiting. It would only be a matter of time before someone graced her with their presence. Although she'd be using them for the wrong reasons, it wouldn't be that bad if they understood. However a part of her hoped whoever came along wouldn't eat the herbs, who knows what would happen if they did? A Cheshire smile formed on her lips and she folded her arms. Tapping her finger against the bark of the tree, she counted the seconds that it was taking. The sun beat down on her though she was shaded by the canopy of leaves, the wind tickled her cheek and she took in a deep breath before sighing. Today would have been a very good day to spend with her family. Experiments are nice and all, even the game is good. Though without them it doesn't really mean much. Everyone here misses their family, they're trying to find their place but it isn't really working out the way that they'd hope. Not even for me, and I'm a kid with priors. I wonder if my family misses me too, and are they searching for me? Am I even in the real world still? What kind of game is this anyway..? On the inside, she knew that she was still a little girl wanting to be around her family and friends. The excitement of new challenges would be tantalizing, but how long would they last? |
