Since Han wasn’t doing anything, and was sincerely wishing to increase the level of her Hunting subclass, she decided to look for a quest that involved hunting Beast-class monsters. Luckily, she’d done so and had taken the piece of paper off from the huge board in town, claiming it as her own. It was from the same people who’d posted that insane ‘hunting list’ request she’d recently gone through, although this time they were asking for something else; they were looking for meat from a certain ‘rare’ kind of boar that only made its appearance whenever its kind were in danger, “It’s the beast we nicknamed ‘Gerald’, but its proper name is the Iron-Tusked Gerald. If you can bring back the tusks as well, then that’s great. If not, just get us the meat and we’ll call it even,” she remembered the NPC who told her about how it would go. Now, there was a niggling problem that bothered her; the spawn that she was looking for was rare; like it only appeared approximately once every few hours or so. She’d also asked around, and fellow adventurers, Players much like her, told her the same thing; that it would take a while before the darned thing made its appearance. So here she was now, hunting down the ‘required’ number of Boars needed in order for the particular creature to show up and she’d just spotted some of the Young Boars munching away at some grass yet again. She then dropped her longbow out of her Inventory, and then knew that her Marksmanship skill would automatically kick in-as she strung up an arrow and took careful aim at the Boar’s rump; hoping that she could end it pretty quickly. She then let the arrow fly; and watched as its trajectory arced through the air, striking said Young Boar’s backside; and it let out a squeal of pain and stopped munching on the grass. Now that Han had caught its attention, she then quickly activated her Accel Dance skill, picking up some more speed and then firing off another arrow in the time it took for the other skill to fully take effect, and soon the Young Boar was down and out for the count; and she saw her Quest notification going off; a sign that she was on the right track. However, there was a slight problem… She then heard an almighty squealing erupt from somewhere near where she’d shot down the Young Boar; and then it made its ugly and unwanted appearance! It looked like a normal Boar; although the tusks on it were twice the usual length and its build was definitely bulkier. Ah, shit… she thought, quickly slinging up another arrow and then letting it fly towards the incoming, charging right at her, tusks gleaming in the sunlight. Oh holy crap I better run… she thought, quickly stringing up another arrow and then letting it fly, before turning tail and taking off in the opposite direction; because she’d just managed to draw its ire on her!

A peaceful day, "What a day" his soft voice would break the silence that carried itself around him, he would allow his eyes to shut as he let the wind sweep in to brush his hair away, and caress the exposed skin of his face. He was fitted with something new today, under the dark cloak that rustled with the winds push dancing wildly at his ankles; he wore a new armor set he himself had made. The torso piece that connected at the shoulders was made of dark leather with a deep red falcon design on the chest, his shin guards, and forearm cuffs protected his limbs the armor was okay, and it was light. He would sit down on the ground, allowing his back to find comfort on a great boulder that was decorated with a green coating of plants from the floor that had crawled onto its surface. With a single motion of his hand he swept his hood up allowing it to rest over his head, his ears popping out of the designated holes he had made for it; the hoods crimson edge would cast a shadow over his eyes. The pair of red orbs concealed form few as he lowered his face his eyes slowly shutting once more, the samurai aiming to allow himself to fall into a deep sleep; he had traveled far this day he deserved some rest. Yet, it would seem that lady luck would not allow him to have his sleep when all of a sudden the sound of thundering hoofs caught his attention. His ears would stand up the sound did not seem too close to him so he seemed to not even be alarmed by it; instead he remained still his hand wrapped around the scabbard of his katana. Sitting there in silence he remained perfectly still as he waited for whatever it was that was making that sound to emerge from the surroundings wilderness, he at least had some form of cover with his back pressed against the solid rock he remained still waiting quietly for whatever it was that was heading his way to show itself. A sigh left his parted lips, "I can't even get a single moment to relax" he said to himself in a low his whisper, his ears upright, and his tail swaying in a slow motion side to side in anticipation of whatever it was that was headed his way.

Seeing that she was now being chased by an overprotective (if somewhat obsessive as well) Gerald, Han was now screeching in Japanese again. Those whom she passed could only look at her out of confusion at first, but then their confusion turned to horror as they saw what exactly was coming after her; it was the Iron-Tusk Gerald that was many the nightmare of a young adventurer who’d made the foolish mistake of killing a Young Pitted Boar while it was roaming around, watching out for its entire herd. Now, if Han was in some romantic slice-of-life modern day animated series, this would be playing out like a scene that had her screaming, “Senpai, stop chasing me!” while the Gerald was in fact, the ‘Senpai’ in question; however, said ‘Senpai’ was not amused. Now that the fourth wall had been successfully broken, let’s go back to the story itself, wherein Han had managed to place some distance between herself and Gerald by crouching down and letting it run past her for a few moments. She then looked up and saw that it was now somewhere in the distance, and a Young Boar had wandered into shooting range, so she quickly stung up an arrow and let it fly and she heard it squeal as it got struck by said arrow. However, there was a slight catch to all this. What was said catch? The Iron-Tusk Gerald heard the squeal of one of its younglings, and then did a very quick, if somewhat sloppy speed turn and then charged back towards where Han was, quietly picking off the Young Boar with another arrow and just as it had exploded into data bits; said Gerald came rushing back into her field of vision! Ah holy shit! She thought her mind screaming as her legs automatically went into ‘flight mode’; backpedaling and scrambling away, off to a certain direction while keeping a grip on her longbow! Her quiver of arrows was slung over her other arm and she was running as fast as she could manage, because she could hear Gerald’s angry huffing and puffing as it was now hunting her down; and it so happened that Han had run by a certain patch of field, completely missing the fact that Bunji was there and she was now screaming at the top of her lungs, never mind that it was in the wrong language, “TASUKETEEEEEEEEEE!” In the minds of the perverted, her scream would’ve come straight out of an ecchi feature; but this was very different, and very dangerously ‘real’ in her case!

H e remained perfectly still, the thundering sound continued to boom into his ear he would stand there quietly waiting his entire focus on his other senses such as his hearing; he had to pin point the exact loca-- When suddenly out of nowhere he would turn his head in the direction of the forest that was echoing the loud booming sound, he would widen his eyes as he spotted a familiar face it was Hanelli. He would stare at her as she ran passed him "Ha-!" before he could finish saying her name he would jump out of the way landing on the top of the solid boulder just as the Gerald ran by its heavy hoofs stomping onto the solid ground. "No way..." he said as he put two, and two together the girl was serious danger that Gerald was aiming to crush her! He would kick off the boulders top landing into a rough roll as he kicked off the floor making sure to sprint as quickly as he could towards the Gerald. Bunji kept on its tail his red eyes watching from under the hood, his armor fitting tightly to his lean physique, and the cloak dancing behind him with every motion of his body. A hand soared to the top of his sword grabbing the hilt with a firm grasp then drawing it from its respective scabbard the worn blade making an appearance to remind its owner that it soon needed an upgrade or a replacement. For now though such thoughts would have to wait, the girl he lo--his friend was in danger! Bunji would pick up his speed doing his best to catch up to the Gerald, he would focus his eyes then activate [Denkosekka] which allowed his body to be engulfed by a thick coating of electrical energy which granted him a potent speed boost. The Fox Tail relied on this speed boost to allow him to run faster, with more haste in his step he was able to get close enough to the Gerald to try, and stop it somehow; or at least slow it down. With a firm grip on the hilt of his katana using both hands he would thrust it to the side of the angry beasts body, when he did the tip of the sword punctured the flesh, and the electrical current that surrounded his body would transfer into the beasts body. The overall result was the Gerald roaring in pain as its mighty muscles locked up from the current of electrical energy that traveled throughout this caused the Gerald to fall over, Bunji having to push off the ground in order to stand on the mighty creatures body as it slid across the ground. Dust, and pebbles were tossed everywhere as Bunji stood atop the stunned beast; his cloak flowed in the wind settling to a gentle sway, his eyes remained hidden under deep shadows, and his facial expression would mold into a confident one thanks to a smirk on his features. "You looked like you ne---" what would have been a great speech for the hero, was interrupted when the still very much alive Gerald savagely shook tossing him off, causing Bunji to land on the ground with a solid thud. As he pushed up to his feet he found him turning over his shoulder to face Gerald just as it kicked him knocking the red haired player away. With a sloppy roll Bunji's body was knocked away, his cloak picking up dust, and his new armor stained a bit; but fortunately having done its job. Raising a hand he waved the girl off, "I...I'm okay...new armor" he said as he stood up a bit of a struggle in his movements but he patted his torso a bit.

She was now running as fast as her pudgy (although it was not that obvious) legs could take running away from a pig with extremely long tusks and a matching volatile temper could manage; and then just as she shot by, she thought she saw a blur of red trying to call out in her direction... only to have him getting knocked over, and gored by Gerald instead! Cringing internally as she came to a stop and quickly drew an arrow and stung it to her longbow, she then shouted, “A-are you okay?!” while eyeing Gerald suspiciously; she’d heard rumors that this little, no-good piece of hoggery could summon back-up; and her worst fears were confirmed; because the moment shed poised and was about to let the arrow fly, Gerald grunted, before said grunting noise became something like a howl gone wrong. Right then and there, she could her hooves racing in to the sound of the noise; what the hell was Gerald doing... and then it became clear; it had summoned back-up! “Ah shit, really?!” she hissed, noting that there was now a Young, as well as the full-grown Boar right next to it and then, to her bad luck, the two then split up; the full-grown one was charging towards her, while the younger one had decided to make a gangway at Bunji! “Be careful, it brought friends!” she shouted, quickly letting her first arrow fly towards the incoming Boar. Wondering why this was so, she then noticed that Gerald was now leering quite protectively over the two ‘minions’ that it had called out, and was now watching the madness unfold. She then saw that her arrow had sunk into the Boar’s shoulder (or what she thought was its shoulder) and was surprised to see that only a fraction of the normal damage was dealt! “Crap!” she shouted, quickly slinging up another arrow and letting it fly before noticing that the Health bar was going down much slower than it normally would. Was it because of the presence of Gerald? “Jiraiya!” she shouted in his direction, accidentally calling him by the pervert sage’s name instead of his in-game name; before catching and correcting herself; “I mean, Bun! Those Boars have additional defense! Be careful when you get tangled up with them; this Boar I’m attacking isn’t going down as fast as I want it to!” before firing off another salvo of arrows. She then began hissing and swearing in her native tongue, because even with her Marksmanship passive skill, the additional damage dealt to Beast-class monsters was being nullified by the noticeable ‘additional defense’ that the Boars had, no thanks to Gerald’s ‘mighty’ presence.

T hings seemed to be going from bad to worse, as the battle progressed he would fold his ears back almost wanting to cover them as he heard the twisted howl escape from the Geralds' mouth. He would watch as the two boars emerged from the surrounding wilderness, both of them riled up, and obviously ready for battle. The fox tail would grip the hilt of his sword as the boar charged him, his eyes would move away from the boar only for a second as he witnessed the other boar head for Han. "This is what I get for being such a nice guy!" he said with a smirk one of his fangs visible as he waited for the boar to get closer. Bunji would raise his sword overhead, then as the boar came in he activated his Ace Move [Kabutowari]. When the boar dashed by, the red haired male would step to the outside out of its direct attack path then allow his katana to come down with a quick swipe using his ace move to deliver extra damage to its full HP bar. The beast howled in pain as its body was struck forcing it to a stumble that resulted in its face sliding across the ground, the Fox Tail however was far from done he would step out, then spin his body on his heels. This quick motion was completed quickly, but it was done so to allow him to face the Gerald with his full body while his sword remained raised overhead activating his second chain ace move, [Izunagiri]. In the time it had taken him to perform the spin he would have gathered the wind around the blade of his katana which was then released into a single condensed air blade. Bursting out from his sword the air would release a backlash wave towards Bunji, that forced his cloak to push back wildly giving him a more dramatic look. A deep scar was left on the path which the dense blade took as it traveled across the surface, slamming into the proud Gerald the red haired male watched as it roared in both pain, and frustration. The beast had not expected to be hit... "Oh shit!" was all he said when he realized how little HP both beast had lost, turning over his shoulder he watched as the other boar was already recovering charging at him from behind. With a quick push off the ground he was able to barely dodge the boar, oh, and the Gerald was not very happy either with a mighty roar the massive beast was also charging Bunji. The fox tail only smirked as he watched them both coming at him "Bring it on!" he cried out allowing a surge of electrical energy to erupt all around his body. Electrial bolts lashed out from his body whipping at the surrounding area, his eyes glowed with a layer of electrical energy themselves as he glared at the incoming duo; his mind calm, and cleared.

As Han was still hissing all sorts of insults that would make a Swashbuckler proud (never mind that she was saying it in the wrong language but what the hell) she then continued to string up arrows and let them fly; because no matter how many arrows pelted and homed in on the Boar that was now looking to gore its horns into her, the Health bar was not going down as fast as she wanted it to be! Ah shit… maybe it’s a bad idea taking out this ugly with just two people… she thought as she slung arrow after arrow aimed at the Boar which was now pelting at her direction, scattering grass and dust clouds everywhere. “Be careful!” she shouted as she let the arrow fly, and then an idea crossed her mind; she then slung the next arrow into her bow, and then concentrated on it; giving it an electric property. If normal attacks don’t work, go with magic… she thought as she then let the electrified arrow fly towards the charging Boar; and watched as it was struck full-on in the face; and then she noticed that somehow, the Health bar went down by slightly more than what she was doing earlier. “Bun!” she continued, slinging up another arrow and letting it loose at the howling Boar, “Use your attacks sparingly! I don’t have any Mana potions on me!” she shouted, quickly firing off as many arrows as she could manage-while slinging them individually into her longbow and firing them off as fast as she could manage. Slowly, but surely the Boar’s Health bar was receding, but to a cost; her arrows were running out much faster than normal; and who knew how many more ‘minions’ Gerald would summon in order to make taking him out a difficult matter altogether. Ah shit, move, move, move! She thought, quickly activating Accel Dance and firing off more arrows as she barely dodged the charging Boar that was now going in for a goring attack. This is going to be a while… she thought as she continued to fire off arrows while backpedaling and jumping around, hoping that she could ire the Boar out and bring its resistance down so that she could finish it off with a few more attacks. Don’t resort to the blade, don’t resort to the blade, just use up all the quivers you have… she thought to herself as she reached back and saw that her first quiver was officially out of arrows. Crap. She thought as she knew that there was a risk of staying put to drop out the quiver of arrows, however the Boar had other plans... it quickly caught her between its horns, lifting its head and tossing her away! She was caught by surprise, and a howl of shock, followed by pain, issued from her lips as she was sent flying and came crashing rather unceremoniously back to the earth on her back side. “Ow,” she hissed, rolling off as the Boar came in for another attack, taking advantage that Han was knocked down due to its earlier attack…

W hile his companion found herself locked in her own battle he found himself staring down the two incoming beasts, Bunji in the eyes of another looked like he was done for perhaps going to be crushed by the enemy. Instead this samurai had a whole new attack plan set up in his mind, as the lighter of the two boars being the young one charged ahead of the Gerald, it would be the first thread he had to deal with. With a bend at the knees he would watch as the boar came in, when it was within range he moved forward with a swift dash it would seem he aimed to meet the enemy head on. Instead, Bunji dashed to the far left, and circled around the charging boar watching it dash him by with its wild charge, with three quick steps he adjusted his aim heading straight for the Gerald. Red eyes would give off an intense glare as he eyed the incoming Gerald, the two were set for a head on collision! The resulting impact would surely result with Bunji on the bad end of the stick, instead however he found himself kicked off the ground once more this time relying on his momentum to propel him over the Gerald Thanks to the boost of speed from his Ace Move, Bunji would slide across the top of the Gerald's back slicing its back with the sharpened edge of his sword the beasts roared in pain. Once again it had been struck with lightning forcing its muscles to contract as it fell face first into the ground, with a quick roll in the air Bunji was able to adjust his landing as he hit the ground with soft knees. Turning he watched as the Gerald huffed, and puffed pushing up from the ground; he had to admit the thing was tanky, he was considering using a more powerful move. Before he could even complete that thought however he found himself spotting the young boar coming around breaking through the heavy wilderness it charged at Bunji. Preparing himself for the boar Bunji would eye the beast then charge at it, making sure to stay fast as he approached the creature. With a quick lean to the right,he would stomp down onto the ground, leaning forward, and bending his lead legs knee he allowed the boar to slice itself with his sword as it ran passed him. His ears rang with the creatures wild cry of intense pain, pulling his sword he would turn to watch the creature roar, and cry but turn a quick U in order to rush back at Bunji.

As Han had been knocked to the side by the full-sized Boar, she was now struggling to get to her feet (and sling the quiver of arrows onto her right shoulder as well) when the Boar did a quick U-turn and was now headed her way, its vigor surprising her quite a bit. Now that she had a full quiver of arrows ready, Han then slung an arrow into the bowstring, and took careful aim before letting it off at almost point-blank range; since the Boar was getting too close for comfort near her current spot! Move, move, Move! Her mind shouted as her legs quickly sprang into action; barely evading the incoming Boar as it attempted to gore her once again. Just die already! She thought angrily as she began slinging arrow after arrow into her longbow, letting the slow, yet steady rain assault the Boar and its Health bar still wasn’t going down as fast as she wanted it to! She then realized that there was something connected to the Gerald by way of the minions; and she realized it sooner than she’d wanted to. She was about to shout and relay the sudden information to her companion when she decided that sending a telepathic message would be best instead, so she concentrated as hard as she could (while still firing off arrows) and said this, “Bun, I have a solution, but it may be a long one though. Lure the Young Boar away from Gerald and then pick it off, that’s what I’m going to do with the Boar I’m dealing with right now, and that Young Boar will go down quick as paper!” before snapping back into action, and then firing off another volley of arrows at the Boar that was now charging relentlessly at her once again. Seeing that the Health bar of the boar was still a the same level, she then fired off a Spark Shot-enchanted arrow in the Boar’s direction, before putting on a burst of speed and running as fast and as far as she could, away from Gerald; and he Boar ended up chasing her as well, which was a relief; her tactic seemed to be working! Now that the Boar was isolated enough from Gerald, she then fired off a few more arrows and saw that the Health points were now going down at the normal pace that she was definitely used to; and a grin unfurled across her face at the realization. “Search, isolate, and destroy…” she said, chuckling to herself as she began letting loose another salvo of arrows towards the hapless Boar that was now left with her in an abandoned area of the field and after letting loose another volley, the Boar squealed, before exploding and fading away into nothingness. She then sent him another telepathic message, “Bun, I got rid of the boar, I’ll be headed right thee to draw the ire of that fat ugly so you can pick off the little one, give me a few moments,” and then slung another arrow into her longbow as she then made her way back towards the field of battle, just in time to see that Gerald (and the titchy one) was headed back at him. Not if I can have it, she thought, quickly enchanting her arrow again with the electric property and then letting it fly towards Gerald this time. “Go! Get rid of the runt! I’ll draw the ugly’s ire until you’re done so we can pick him off!” she shouted as she began firing off another volley of arrows in Gerald’s direction, making sure to back pedal, fire off a few arrows, and then continue running around. So it’s the hit-and-run strategy that works best for me… she thought as she continued letting loose more arrows, watching as bit by bit, Gerald’s Health bar was going down, but not fast enough for her wanting!

"H ere we go aga--" he would say as he prepared to slice the boar, when suddenly his ears well no from inside his head a voice echoed speaking to him!? He was confused, and somewhat distracted by the sudden voice that he stopped his actions completely staying frozen in place; the boar taking the chance, and slamming its head into Bunji's body. With a loud grunt he would be tossed into the air, his body shooting to the skies were it spun out of control before coming down with a quick descent to the ground. With a bounce on impact Bunji would open his mouth an audible "Gah!" allowing air to rush out of his open mouth, once he settled into place he could cough, and groan feeling an aching pulse of pain spread throughout his body. Rolling over on his side he pushed himself up looking over at the boar that had hit him, that thing was already huffing, and puffing to charge again. Bunji however would have none of it pushing up from his hands, and knees he would glare at the incoming boar with his katana firmly in hand. He would stare at the boar as it charged at him making its way towards him, its head ready to slam into the target but the red head was ready to react. When the boar came within range he would move in staying low as he prepared to move to the side, which he did with a quick strong kick to the ground he pushed his body to the right allowing him to guide his body out of the boars attack path. With the creature dashing by, he would make sure to attack it quickly opening his interface Bunji quickly equipped his spear in his other hand. With a strong grip he would watch the boar as it came to a stop, he would pull his spear back then fling it at the boar the long weapon flew through the air flying over to the boar the sharpened spearhead sinking into its flesh. This caused the creature to squeal in pain, allowing Bunji time to attack he dashed in holding his katana overhead as he closed the distance between himself, and the boar. Activating [Kabutowari] he swung downward with his sword slicing into the boars flesh, the extra damage from the Ace Move providing to bring down the boars HP. Since he was within reach Bunji grabbed the staff of the spear pulling it as he spun flinging it at the Gerald this time, not realizing Han was about to provide him with some back up. The spear flew through stabbing into the creatures eyeball, with a mighty roar the Gerald thrashed around in pain as Bunji turned his attention to the board it was time to finish that thing off, all the while the Gerald would turn its enraged glare towards Hanelli charging at her effectively creating a bigger distance between itself, and its companion.

Now that Han had come in for the assisting role, she saw that he’d dropped out the spear once again and had made an attempt to stab Gerald in the face; instead she heard an unearthly howling coming from the Boar and saw that Bunji had dropped the sword in favor of the spear; why didn’t he use that weapon instead it looked sexier on him... and then shook her head because right at that moment Gerald was now headed in her direction! “Oh hell no you don’t, ugly,” she hissed, quickly loading up her longbow with another arrow and letting it fly, hitting Gerald’s rump and hearing it grunt in pain. Hoping that he was now far enough in order to hack and slash away at the Young Boar that he was tussling with, she then continued the same strategy she’d taken from her solo hunting thing; run some distance, then turn around and fire off some arrows then run away again! Hoping that he was done with picking off the Young Boar, she then continued firing off volley after volley of arrows; until she reached back and realized that she was out of arrows. “Ah crap,” she hissed, realizing that she was, once again, in a delicate spot and Gerald was charging at her again, its long tusks gleaming in the afternoon sunlight; would she stop and reload, or would she just keep running and dodging until he got back and assisted her in taking out this ugly creature?! Ah shit no time to do it, I better reload… she thought as she quickly skidded to a stop and then seemingly froze for a few moments, tying to locate the next quiver of arrows that she needed in order to be able to continue her distance-oriented strategy; but then and there, Gerald managed to catch up with her and gave a very violent goring attack headed her way! “Wait a—“ she trailed off, seeing that the glinting tusks were way too close for comfort and she was then tossed off to one side, her own Health bar suffering quite a hit in the process; little did she know that Gerald’s most infamous goring attack had hit her, and she was tossed into the air before landing on the ground hard, the air knocked out of her system, coupled with a dizzying effect; her field of vision turned hazy for a few seconds there. “Ah, shit…” she hissed, trying to get up and continuing the strategy that she was going to accomplish but instead decided to switch weapons and get on the up close-and-personal route with this particular creature. I hope this works… she thought, dropping the dagger and the kunai into her hands, before quickly activating the first of a string of Deadly Dance attacks. She knew that she had to stay away from Gerald, considering the hit she’d already taken, but thankfully there were some skills she could use in order to be able to bridge the gap and make up for the damage!

H e was locked in battle with the young boar focusing all his energy on taking this thing out, Bunji would land on the ground keeping his knees bent as he stared at the incoming boar, he would grip the hilt of his sword firmly. He would dash towards the incoming boar his eyes focusing on its HP bar the thing was a little passed half, he would take advantage of two things here now. The first was the boards wild attacks, and the second was the fact that it was far away from the Gerald reducing whatever boost it may have received from that creature. Bunji would lean to the far left avoiding the boar, and slashing at its legs causing it to fall face first he did not waste any time stepping in close to the boar he would use his katana to swing down on the boar with a heavy slash. The resulting attack would take another chunk of its HP, stepping back he pulled his katana in with his elbows bent then thrust it forward digging it into the boars HP causing its HP to drop even more. With that Bunji would be able to finish off the boar using a quick step in, and spin to deliver one more slash which would result in him dropping the boars HP even more causing it to hit zero. The result was the boar bursting into multiple data bits! With the the boar gone Bunji would turn towards the Gerald, watching as Han delt with the Gerald she clearly needed help. He would charge at the pig not really considering his actions, more like thinking about how he would protect the girl. Bunji would raise his katana overhead then use the ace move [Kabutowari] in order to dash in closer so that he could swing his katana downward at the creature the sharp blade digging into its flesh causing it to lose more HP. Once it landed he would step back holding his katana over his left shoulder with his right arm over his chest, "Stay back Hanelli!" he called out before focusing his energy into the blade allowing it to gather nearby winds around said blade. Bunji would activate one of his new ace moves, [Shunsen] when he did so he swung his katana in a horizontal fashion creating a fan like vacuum of air that would suck the Gerald into its range dealing continuous damage. He would kick away rolling to the side landing within ear shot, while the Gerald was trapped in the damaging air vacuum he called out to Han "Hit it now with some ranged attacks!" he said a she himself raised his own katana overhead to begin spinning it to activate a third ace move.

As the first few strikes of her Deadly Dance skill hit the squealing Gerald, she quickly followed it up with Accel Dance, which gave her a boost of speed and then placed another instance of Deadly Dance in order to be able to deal more damage. She was trying her hardest to evade the horns of Gerald; if they could chop them off then that would be all fine and dandy... when she saw that Gerald had moved out of range, yet was charging in again. Oh no you don’t, you stupid Boar, she thought as she activated her Accel Dance once more and gained another burst of speed, before chaining it with yet another Deadly Dance skill. She then got an idea and then realized that if the Boar was pinned down (or at least temporarily paralyzed) then laying into the damned thing with all their skills would be easy! Seeing that Bunji had now returned to the scene and had most likely witnessed her spectacular fall from grace; she then jumped away and then ran through her entire Skill List before finding the one she needed. Alright, keep moving you stupid Boar… let’s see how you’d react when I catch you in place… she thought as she then landed on the ground and then activated her Shadow Bind skill. Instead of crouching down and holding her hands in a certain position and letting her own shadow snare it instead. She then used the dagger in her right hand to take aim, before kicking off at a running start and then taking a flying leap, barely missing the incoming tusk-goring attack again; and then landed deftly behind Gerald, stabbing its own shadow. She didn’t know how long she could hold it down with the technique, so she then stabbed its shadow again, this time with the kunai in her other hand. She was originally planning on using alternations of Accel and Deadly Dance until its Health bar was worn down, but seeing as it was a very mobile target, she then decided to hold it in place instead. Now that she had done that, she then shouted in his direction, “Hit it with everything you’ve got! I’ll try to hold him down with my Shadow Bind! Go!” while trying to keep hold on the squealing Boar that was now trying to move towards the redhead’s direction; yet proving futile, since it was pinned by her Shadow Bind technique. Drats, he better get his skills going, otherwise this thing is going to escape… she thought, feeling the strain creep up on her; the Gerald was definitely struggling to break free from the invisible ‘chains’ that had bound it down.

H e would smirk as he watched the girl pin the Gerald this would make his job a lot easier, without the thing flailing around or trying to hit him he would be able to focus; this focus aiding him in the following ace move. A golden energy would begin to form from his feet moving its way up throughout his body creating a dense outline of golden energy that would expand to his sword coating the entire weapon from hilt to blade tip. The golden energy would cover all of Bunji's entire body,even his red eyes glowing a bright golden color hiding his red eyes from view the male would focus those eyes on the Gerald. Once he had the energy he needed he would unleash the technique by activating it, [Seinarushinken]. Bunji grip the hilt of the sword with a strong hand, stepping forward he would thrust it downward allowing the energy engulfed blade to dig into the ground when he did so the energy would release from his sword in the form of an energy wave. The entire area around Bunji lit up, as his cloak was blown back, and his eyes would intensify into a burning glare he let the energy explode from his blade, the resulting wave of golden energy would shoot forward as a piercing battle cry escaped the male fox tails opened mouth. The battle cry itself sounding like a deep roar, perhaps Bunji's animalistic side emerging, the energy would travel forward ripping at the Earth when it collided with the Gerald he energy would crash into its body engulfing the creature. A loud cry would tear into the atmosphere ringing into his ears, he would stand there listening, and watching as the things HP dropped drastically but it did not die, his eyes would widen with surprise as he stared at the Gerald. "N--That was my best attack" he whispered with a tone that was heavy with surprise, breathing heavily he stood there using his sword for support. "Han...I need to recover!" he called out figuring he had trusted his attack way too much.

With Gerald struggling against her Shadow Bind skill, Han knew that there was going to be a lot of work involved trying to subdue the Boar so that Bunji could unload all of his best skills on the damned thing. She was trying to keep both hands (that were clutching both bladed weapons she had) gripped as much as she could with the two weapons that were attempting to hold down Gerald as much as she could and then the entire area suddenly lit up with a golden burst of energy, causing her to close her eyes while retaining the grip as much as she could on the weapons she was desperately trying to hang on to, because Gerald was literally putting up a very fierce fight as well! Damn it, this stupid Boar is so powerful! She thought as she felt one of her hands slipping from the weapons she was trying to hold it down with and then she heard an unearthly howling coming from Gerald’s direction. She then squinted her eyes open and saw that Gerald’s Health bar had dropped down a portion, but it was far from over, because she then heard Bunji shouting in her direction that he needed to recover… “Shit!” was all she could hiss as one hand finally slipped from the kunai, and Gerald was now somewhat free, yet her right hand still hung on as best as she could manage; even if she could feel the strain on the muscles in her arm at that point. “Alright, give me a moment!” she shouted back, shaking her left arm and then attempting to reach for the kunai that was still stuck in Gerald’s ‘shadow’, and then she pulled it out, increasing the effort she needed to use in order to hang on with just one and binding down Gerald’s shadow; she then enchanted the kunai with electric energy and then sent it flying, crackling through the air. She knew that it wasn’t much, but she had to keep him distracted as much as she could while he was catching his breath! She then heard a burst of electricity fizz and sparkle as it connected, causing Gerald to howl in pain and then the grip on her other weapon slipped as well; causing the Boar to scamper free! “Ah hell no!” she shouted once again, quickly picking up her dagger and then this time charging up the dagger with electricity, before letting it fly; it was definitely barreling towards Bunji’s direction, and that was not good! Crap, crap, crap, crap! She shouted in the back of her mind as she dashed over and picked up the kunai, before quickly activating her Accel Dance in order to gain another burst of speed before she propelled herself into the air, and then coming down with an almighty stabbing attack right at Gerald’s shadow once again. “And stay there!” she said, activating the Shadow Bind skill once again, this time keeping both hands firmly gripped on the kunai, just in case Gerald started struggling again. Both her hands were occupied, therefore she couldn’t attack. “Hey, Bunji! You okay now?!” she called out to him—and then, things went from ‘just fine’ to ‘oh hell no’ ugly; as Gerald gave another howling roar and summoned even more backup! Another Young Boar, as well as the full-sized version of itself, then made an appearance at their battlefield, and then she started swearing again with the tongue that made a Swashbuckler proud, and then screamed, “Move! Ugly called for friends again! You know what to do! Draw them away!” while keeping a firm grip on the kunai; as Gerald was now thrashing around, trying to move away from the effects of Shadow Bind.

T He would not help but allow his body to relax somewhat at the sound of the girls words, despite the intensity of battle he was confident in the girls ability to back him up he would not allow himself to be taken over by gear or worry; he had to keep his head in the game. Looking up Bunji watched as Hanelli clashed with the Gerald, luckily her attacks both taking HP, and attracting the monsters attention. It was slowly but surely that he was starting to recover, his body slowly beginning to move more. His hand felt a lot less shaky than before pushing up from the ground, Bunji would stretch out his legs standing fully upright pulling his katana from the ground bringing it up to his side. He could give the girl a nod ready to charge into battle, but before he was able to pull it off he would see them from the corner of his eyes the two boars that appeared. Bunji would focus his red eyes on the dup that had stepped into the battlefield taking a stance he would glare with his red eyes at the two boars. Bunji would nod at Hanelli's words, "I got it!" he called out as he charged into the two boars holding his katana with a firm grip he would do his best to close the distance between himself, and the boars. Bunji would enter their aggro range in no time getting the attention of both boars, he would instantly clash with them using his katana to hack at the two boars with well placed swings. The boars would squeal in pain, and cry out as the sword found its honed edge digging into their bodies; Bunji would pull his sword back then spin on his tip toes bringing his katana full circle as he struck both boars with a wide area of attack. The two creatures would cry out giving him the time he needed to catch their attention entirely, rushing away from the duo he made his jump over some bushes his tail trailing behind him as he rushed into the dense forest. The tow boars gave chase huffing, and puffing as they chased after the fox tail samurai he would continue to run until he came to a total stop turning to see the incoming boars. They were dodging trees, and circling around the obstacles in their way which was exactly what Bunji wanted them to do he would hold his katana with a firm grip staring at the incoming boars, his feet firmly planted on the ground. Bunji would open his eyes wide allowing an electrical currently to escape him engulfing his entire body in an electrical aura. [Denkosekka] was activated allowing Bunji to move with greater speed, using his he dashed forward towards the two boars. His hands remained gripped on the hilt of his sword as he approached the two boars the beasts getting closer relying on his speed Bunji would avoid the older boar, and dash passed the younger one slashing it with a clean swing, taking a strong stomp onto the ground. He would raise his katana overhead then turn swinging it down to release a dense blade of wind from the sword activating [Izunagiri] this time he launched the blade at the second much older boar. The blade of wind would slice through the ground slamming into the boar causing it to cry out in pain as it was knocked away, standing there with a firm hand on his katana he smirked watching as the boars continued to lose HP.

Thankful that he’d drawn away the two summoned Boars that Gerald had decided to call to the battlefield to cause utter mayhem, Han was now trying to keep a grip on the weapon that she had pinned on Gerald’s squirming, struggling shadow. If this little thing stopped struggling then I could go and help him! She thought angrily, feeling the sweat pour down from her face as she struggled against the opposing force that was trying to free itself from the bind that she’d placed upon it. Hoping that it would stay still, she then let go of the weapon that she’d used in order to bind it; and then wished she hadn’t, because at that moment the sun peeked out from behind the clouds, rendering the skill useless! “Ah shit, this is not good…” she hissed to herself as she quickly plucked the weapon out of the ground; and with another fierce roar, Gerald then did a quick, yet sloppy, 180-degree turn and then charged towards her once again, its tusks gleaming in the sunlight! Ah shit I need shadows in order to stop it! But I only have two weapons on me! Crap, it would take too long if I switched back to my bow and arrows! She thought as she began running once again, chased by the Boar with a renewed sense of fervor. Hoping that it wouldn’t summon for even more backup, she then took a leap, just as Gerald came charging in and then quickly enchanted her weapon with the electric property; and then sent it flying! She knew that the Spark Shot wouldn’t work too much, due to Gerald having quite a meaty defense, but she knew she had to hold out at least until her companion made his reappearance! Sun, go back behind the clouds already, damn it, how am I supposed to take out this ugly thing anyway?! She thought angrily as she quickly dropped out her other weapon from her inventory and then enchanted it as well, in order to be able to send another electrically-charged Spark Shot towards the incoming Gerald. Gah, stop chasing me! She thought as she barely dodged the next incoming goring attack; and then flipping her body so that their positions were reversed. She knew that the so-called ‘laws of physics’ would not hold sway here, but since her own knowledge of real-world acrobatics was limited, she’d have to rely on her own force in this instance. She then saw her fallen dagger, and picked that one up, before quickly sending it flying; and then following it up with a quickly-executed Quick Draw attack using her kunai; the sudden burst of speed catching Gerald by surprise and hacking off a percent of its Health bar. Still not enough… she thought, as she quickly shifted gears and then switched into another Deadly Dance execution, complete with all the flips and spins. Once she’d delivered the downward slash, she then chained it with her Accel Dance skill, and then came in close again for another hacking attack! Keep it up damn it! she thought as she chained it with another execution of Deadly Dance, flipping herself atop Gerald’s body and slashing the boar’s unprotected back.

T he two boars were on low HP he had to move fast to take them out in order to be able to help Hanelli out. For now though he focused entirely on the two boars he was fighting, moving forward towards the two he would attack the younger one first it was he weakest of the two, jut as it was recovering from his assault he would chain a series of strikes on the boar. Vertical first coming straight down, then upwards, and finally he struck down again each slash following one after the other in a fluid manner. The boars HP would drop dramatically, the other was already coming in towards the samurai but he was already prepared with a quick thrust he pierced the tip of his katana into the boars head then pulled it out swiftly dropping the creatures HP lower causing it to burst into data particles. The other boar would charge at him, but Bunji was prepared when it came in close he bent his knees, then pushed himself upwards into the air using all his leg strength to propel him upwards. The long end of his cloak would rustle wildly at his ankles as the boar passed right under him, landing with soft knees Bunji would turn towards the boar raising his katana overhead he was feeling his ace move activate as he focused. When [Kobutowari] kicked in he dashed forward towards the boar who was recovering from its abrupt stop, swinging his katana downward he would slash deep into its body causing the beast to roar in pain. Bunji however was far from done, with relaxed muscles he moved with a quick succession using his katana to practically overwhelm the boar with multiple slashes. The end result was the creatures HP dropping lower, and lower until it hit zero causing it to burst into data crystals like the other. Heavy breaths escaped him but he knew he had no time for this so he quickly charged towards the area where Hanelli would be fighting the Gerald, Bunji emerged from the forest full force. Stumbling into a landing he charged into battle once more his eyes focused on the menacing beast with a burning glare, "I...got...this!" he said as he raised his sword overhead using [Kabutowari] once more, the skill allowing him to dash, and slash. The Gerald would cry in pain at feeling the samurais sword, thrashing around wildly it would try to hit the fox tail, who used his katana as a means of defense when the Geralds head collided with Bunji's sword he was knocked away causing him to roll, but stop on one knee. He smirked "I'm here Han!" he said standing upright breathing heavily, it was clear the fight was taking a toll on him.

She was continuing to hack and slash away at Gerald; though most of the attacks she’d managed to land on the creature so far were barely evaded due to the long tusks; and as she had just launched another instance of Deadly Dance at the now-panting Gerald, she heard something that sounded like a war cry coming from some distance away and saw that Bunji had rejoined the fray! She then let her eyes flicker upwards and saw that her Quest notification was now flashing crazily; and she then realized that he’d managed to pick off the two little ‘summons’ that Gerald had called to its aid. Wondering if the Boar was getting a bit wiser now, she then launched another instance of her Quick Draw attack, before falling back as Gerald let out a pained, yet terrifying, roar of surprise and shock! “Uh-oh,” was all she had time for; blinking as she was like a deer caught in headlights and then Gerald managed to connect with her yet again, sending her flying off her feet! Ugh,I definitely did not see that coming… she thought as she felt her body soar through the air! Normally she’d try and correct her landing, but this time she just let gravity do the talking, and after a few seconds of air time, came crashing down on the dirt-packed ground once again, spitting out soil. “Ouch,” was all she could say, since the wind had been knocked out of her and now that he was there, Gerald then turned his attention toward Bunji, allowing her for some time to recover. Seeing that her Health bar was now in the yellow area, she decided to back off (at least for the time being) and instead focus on trying to hold Gerald down with the only other skill she could use so that he could get a clear shot at the fidgety boar! She then began twirling her dagger around before noticing that there was a long shadow trailing out behind Gerald; and she then activated her Shadow Bind skill once again; stabbing Gerald’s puny shadow with her weapon! Hoping that this time thee boar would stay still, she then called out in his direction, “There, unload everything you can on him,“ before hearing that unearthly roar once again; it sounded familiar to her by this point, and she felt her Elvin ears twitching. Soon enough, two more Boars made their appearance on the scene! Oy, not these guys again! She thought, resisting the urge to roll her eyes skywards. I hope that Gerald stays still this time, I’m going to try something nuts… she continued to herself as she whistled a sharp note in his direction. “Ugly called for companions again!” she began, hoping that her whistle caught his attention. “Since I got his shadow pinned, I’ll lure the two Boars away, you do your thing! Hopefully I can get back so that we can end Gerald’s misery together,” she said, quickly dropping into a certain pose and launching her Quick Draw attack towards the full-sized boar that had arrived on the scene along with the Young Boar; and the full-sized Boar gave a heaving snort, before changing directions and chasing her instead! Just to be on the safe side, she then enchanted the kunai she had with her, and sent it flying towards the young Boar’s direction, and that drew its ire as well; giving up on Bunji and coming after her instead! “I’ll be back, hold out as long as you can okay?!” she shouted, running off into the distance, being chased by two Boars that were definitely pissed off; not to mention hurting due to the sudden attacks she’d unloaded on them!

He was left alone with the Gerald he watched as Han left the fray luring away the two boars this thing had summoned, he would smirk "Well it's just me, and you ugly..." he whispered with a sharp tone as a wild grin spread on his face, Bunji was going to this everything he had. With a deep inhale he would focus his energy as he activated his ace move starting it off with [Denkosekka] the electrical aura would coat his entire body allowing sparks to fly out all around him, Bunji would rely on the speed boost as he dashed forward towards the incoming Gerald. Moving to the far right Bunji avoided its wild charge, turning with a full circle Bunji left a trail of electrical energy behind him as he slashed across the creatures body his lightning enveloped sword digging deep into its flesh. The Gerald roared in pain, but the fox tail samurai was far from done he would swing his katana once more this time activating, [Shunsen] he created an air vacuum which sucked the Gerald into place. The boar would roar in pain as its body was torn to pieces by the wind causing its HP to drop, raising his katana overhead as the wild winds created by his attack would push out causing his cloak to dance wildly in the direction the wind pushed, he would spin his katana. Bunji's eyes remained locked on the Gerald as he began to activate his third ace move already the toll this was taking on his body was visible, he was no longer standing upright he was bent at the knees, and hunched a bit. The gold aura of his sword would begin to coat his entire body creating a solid outline of his figure with the gold energy, Bunji would focus the energy until he grabbed the sword with a reverse grip then after three seconds of this action he would thrust his sword into the ground. When he did Bunji would immediately release the golden energy from his sword, the energy would explode outwards into a bright wave that would light up the area around him, the energy would crash into the Gerald causing the creature to fall back back as its body was engulfed by the entire wave of energy. With the Gerald down Bunji was far from done, with heavy breaths he sheathed his katana then in a single motion he dashed forward towards the Gerald that was down on the ground trying to recover from the wave of energy that had once lit up the area, taking chance Bunji drew his katana in a fluid motion slashing across the Geralds body once more. When he did this however, his grip weakened on his katana he dropped it,and fell to one knee the man would breath heavily his ears folded back, and his tail laying lifeless behind him. Unfortunately for the fox tail the Gerald was not dead, although his display of attacks was impressive it was not enough to take down its HP. The Gerald was indeed near death, but it was not enough, and the weakened Bunji would soon learn that. Before he knew it a powerful kick connected with his body knocking him away, his body dragged on the ground his body rolling until he hit a nearby tree nearly knocking over, Bunji's body would be wrecked with a wave of pain he couched, and struggled to move not even able to equip his spear. The Gerald walked over with a limp, its tired body approaching the prey then without much warning the Gerald began to stomp raising its front hoofs up then slamming them down onto the spot where Bunji lay, a cloud of dust picked up as the beast roared, and stomped every time Bunji's HP dropping visibly. His armor barely holding on as he lay there being trampled like a rag doll...
