Subclass: Animal Trainer | Skill: Scout with [ Wild carrot ] | Scouting: Ike “ Can you find my lost bunny? “ asked a wee little red haired boy who called himself Mike, a lander by the looks of it.
He handed out a flyer to Caerbannog, a samurai dressed up as a schoolgirl in black serafuku. Unassuming, but she was an animal trainer too. If anything, a person like her could probably find the creature and convince it to return to its owner. That is, if no harm had befallen the creature already. The blue-eyed girl walked towards the gates of Londenium and waited for anyone else who held the flyer and seemed interested. Trackers or hunters would probably take it up as a quest to hone their skills, and secondary to that were animal trainers like herself.
While the wolf-hair waited at the gates, she summoned her frenmic rabbit Hrairoo. Unlike the lost bunny which was completely white and had bright red eyes, Roo was brown and seemed every bit a wild creature save for his softer down. The rabbit twitched its nose at the flyer. He recognized the figure of a rabbit at least, but whether he could see colors or not, his tamer did not know. Perhaps a more experienced tamer could tell her more about frenmic rabbits, or the quest at hand could teach her more about rabbits in general.
That said, whether it was bunnies, boars or slimes, animal trainers had to scout something so that they could gain experience points. Some weak creatures like the lost bunny who was named Ike by its owner was a good start. It seemed simple enough but Elder Tale was no longer a game. One does not simply toss pet food at animals and expect them to be all nice and cuddly, no. There were surely some nasty buggers in the undergrowth, and Caerbannog could only hope that Ike had not been devoured by the foul beasts already.

my name is hyōka with this name i hold i will scream out ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Walking with a straight posture, hands in pockets and eyes hidden under his unkempt black hair, Hyoka strolled through the street and headed toward the gates. He was finally doing something after sleeping his time away in an isolated part of Londinium. When the game started, he just let his mind shut down and slept his worries away. After walking around hungry, he found a boy handing out a flyer. A quest. Taking the flyer without a word, he headed for the entrance, not expecting to find anybody else who was doing the quest. Though, lo and behold, he finds someone holding the same flyer and standing at the gate. Letting one of his blue eyes see through a part in his hair, he analyzed the person. Female with black hair, appeared to be a wolf hair, and an animal trainer judging by the pet bunny by her. Standing about three steps away, Hyoka simply pulled his hand out of his pocket and held up the flyer.
Checking the player info of the person in front of him, he found out that they were already higher than he was. Looks like he would be imposing on someone since he was somewhat new. From what he had heard throughout the city was that Elder Tales' system was different in how you use it, so he would be discovering that for himself soon. Not wanting to wait for anyone else, and not knowing what else to do, Hyoka used a gesture to say he wanted to go now. He didn't feel like speaking up. Not waiting for a response, he started walking at a slow pace to leave the city. He equipped his Grimoire in the event that he needed it. Was he suppose to make a party with the person? He wasn't sure. He had played these sorts of games before, but had always played solo or with friends that did everything for him since they were more experienced. Even if he wanted to manipulate the controls himself, he hadn't a lick of idea on what to do first.

Subclass: Animal Trainer | Skill: Scout with [ Wild carrot ] | Scouting: Ike Another introvert. Oh boy. It wasn’t surprising since introverts usually played MMORPGs while their opposites played less, well, introverted games. Not that Caerbannog minded that stereotype; it was true, at least for her. The RPer did note, however, that the other person was able to figure out that the samurai was a wolf-hair. Unlike fox tails, wolf-hairs don’t have telltale signs of being wolf-hairs unless specified in the character sheet, which was not the case of Caerbannog. Care should be taken next time when dealing with wolf-hair players, since most of them, including Stryke who was a friend of Caerbannog’s, look like regular humans unless their wolf-hair features appear due to battle lust or extreme emotions.
That said, the samurai hopped up to the other adventurer who had a similar flyer as the one that she held. She checked his visible info, Hyouka the summoner; his subclasses were hidden away though, as per default settings, so she did not know if he was a tracker, hunter or animal trainer. Owing to her minuscule amount of experience with summoners, Caerbannog assumed that the young man also had a very cute carbuncle like the one that the werecat Pan had. In addition to that, he had a funny (as in funny-cool) name so she figured hey, party time. The samurai sent a party request to the guy who was Level 1. Who goes out to the woods alone with that level? Well, she did- some time ago, so Caerbannog didn’t really question that choice, only the RPer did.
“ Yoroshiku! Caer-desu, “ the samurai introduced herself and assumed that the summoner knew that language due to his in-game name, “ Subclass wa nan desu ka? “
Upon her head, the frenmic rabbit Hrairoo twitched its nose at the other adventurer.

my name is hyōka with this name i hold i will scream out ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Seeing the somewhat familiar party request pop up in front of him, Hyoka pressed the accept button as he walked along, letting the other person set the pace now that they were sort of walking together. Upon hearing the familiar language of Japanese reaching his eyes, he had a surprised expression, although minor, as he looked at the female before letting his eyes drift to the bunny that was on her head. It was kind of cute. He couldn't wait to find his own animal. With his blue eyes revealed and making some sense of eye contact with the samurai, Hyoka dropped his gaze to the ground ahead of him as he gave his response. 「Yoroshiku, Caer-san. Ore wa Hyoka. Hyo de ii. Animal Trainer.」 His Japanese was a bit shaky at the start but was quickly fixed. It had been a long time since he last had a conversation in Japanese.
He had contemplated responding in french, but that would have been annoying and a waste of effort. Right now, he didn't want to be leading the way since he was absolutely rubbish. This was his first time leaving the city, so he was clueless about the monsters, the terrain, everything. Just his keen inuition, basic knowledge and common sense would help him for now. With his Grimoire in his left hand, he kept his right hand free for basic spell shots since he didn't have a physical attack of his own. Would it be better to bring his summon out now or later? If it's magically summoned, it probably has a mana cost per second or something, as with a lot of games, so only when in combat. Well, that's one thing decided on. Looking at the flyer again, he double checked the details. A bunny named Ike. Thanks to the HUD showing monster names and stuff, it should be as hard as real life... or would it?

Subclass: Animal Trainer | Skill: Scout with [ Wild carrot ] | Scouting: Ike The party request was accepted and so from then on, the samurai could monitor the other adventurer’s state. He seemed to be rather friendly and accepted the nickname that she introduced for herself, and he in turned told her that simply “Hyo” would be fine. An animal trainer too? But then he brought out a grimoire... oh, bad idea. They were scouting so having weapons out would scare the beasties. The girl herself only had her ooyoroi out but it was masked by her black serafuku. Her nagamaki and yumi were both stored away in her inventory, so basically she only had her fists and Hrairoo. She did not know how to say those things without being rude though, so Caerbannog instead pulled out a carrot from her inventory.
“ Here. Scouting, “ the samurai said as she handed the item to her fellow trainer.
She switched to English because it was an English server after all, but if the summoner kept speaking Japanese, she’d switch back to that. There were Japanese players stuck in the British server anyway, like the assassin girl Hanelli. Back to the task at hand, the samurai led the way to the left side of the main road. Since the missing animal was a pet rabbit, she knew that it would not stray too far from home even if lost. It would look for familiar sights, sounds or scents... and that included the flyer which the animal trainers brought along.
“ Attack only when attacked, “ Caerbannog simply stated to her companion.
His first test arrived soon enough for the party of two came across a family of frenmic rabbits hopping around in the bushes. They seemed to be foraging and the curious Hrairoo twitched his nose at those of kind. The rabbits, which then sensed the presence of adventurers and one of their kind amongst the party, turned to face the samurai and slowly approached her.

my name is hyōka with this name i hold i will scream out ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Being given a carrot, Hyoka nodded in response, quickly figuring out what he needed it for. Scouting using items. Putting his grimoire away, he left only the carrot in his hands as he followed Caer. Moving the the left side road, they walked for a bit when the samurai halted and looked at some bushes where a few rabbits were. A word of caution was given to Hyoka who nodded in response. As the rabbits got closer, Hyoka knelt down and held out a rabbit. 「Scouting」. One of the rabbits approaches him and seems neutral as it sniffs the carrot before snatching it and running off. 「Is... that a fail? Has to be.」 He did his best to sound carefree with that but still ended up having a hint of disappointment in it.
Since he had failed his first, he decided to wait a while and let Caer do the next one. On a previous MMORPG he had played, you simply talked to the monster a bunch of times and it would eventually do one of three things; attack, give item, befriend. In the first place, why did he choose to be an animal trainer? Out of all the subclasses, an animal trainer. Giving a light sigh, he stands up straight and backs up in the event one of the rabbits starts attacking his face with their adorableness. Good thing he isn't allergic. On top of sucking at scouting, he still had another 20 levels until he could get domesticate. That was probably why he chose it and ended up counting his chickens before they hatched. He needed to get more experience, so this quest was a good opportunity. Holding the flyer again in one hand, he looked between the rabbits in front of him and the piece of parchment. 「One bunny attempted, dozens more to go.」

Subclass: Animal Trainer | Skill: Scout with [ Wild carrot ] | Scouting: Ike That moment when Caerbannog whipped out the carrot, Hrairoo had been eyeing it greedily. When the other rabbits appeared, he wasn’t just twitching his nose at them. Unbeknownst to the adventurers, Roo was giving his fellowbunnies the stink eye. Only frenmic rabbits would understand this of course, and so maybe it wasn’t exactly Hyouka’s bad luck at scouting that made the rabbit run away with the carrot. Maybe it was Hrairoo who was basically glaring down at all the other frenmic creatures. Why? Because he wanted that carrot; and when Hyouka’s target bolted with the food item, Roo jumped off of the samurai’s head and would have skydived right onto one of the other frenmic rabbits if not for his own tamer who caught the wayward creature.
“ Roo! “ the wolf-hair suddenly yelled, worried for her bunny’s well-being.
At that, the other frenmic rabbits scattered and disappeared into the Greatwoods. Caerbannog sighed. The only silver lining there was that Ike was not amongst those rabbits. As mentioned before, their quest target was a white bunny while the wild ones were mostly brown or grey. The wolf-hair did not want to go deeper into the Greatwoods but she had no choice. Rabbits usually hid away if they heard loud noises; her yell and a family of rabbits bolting were not the most assuring sounds at all. Since they were going deep into the woods...
“ For baby boars, “ the blue-eyed one took out a small pouch full of fragrant dried oats and one large red apple, and then she handed it over to Hyouka, “ Avoid boars with family. Weasels, don’t know what to give... “
Caerbannog’s fragmented speech was surfacing again due to the amount of things that she had to say. She’d have to ‘recharge’ her word count, or something. Oh no, Roo... the rabbit tried to jump on Hyouka’s face at an attempt to dis-apple him. Clearly the frenmic rabbit was more of a bother than a helper, so the wolf-hair decided to unsummon him. She hoped that the rabbit could have been their pathfinder, but it seemed that he needed more training- or rather, any kind of decent training.

my name is hyōka with this name i hold i will scream out ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Seeing how things played out on Caer's side, Hyoka took note of how the rabbits interact with each other and then nodded in agreement with her response to the situation. Accepting the items given to him, he kept them on hand as he walked on into the wilderness that is the outside of Londinium. As would be expected, each monster has their own preference of food. Thinking that, Hyoka spotted some boars a distance away. There was a group of three straight ahead and a lone boar to the side. Remembering the advice given to him, he walked towards the lone boar with apple at the ready. As he got closer, he kept his stance low in preparation for it to charge him. It would be easier to dodge if he was prepared.
Managing to grab the boar's attention, Hyoka stopped moving and kept his gaze low, avoiding eye contact as he waited for the boar to take the apple. It approached slowly and began sniffing his hand and the apple for a little bit. When it was satisfied, it licked the apple cautiously before chowing down on it. Keeping his fingers straight and angled downwards helped him to prevent having them bitten off with the apple. When it finished the apple, the boar licked Hyoka's hand, leaving slobber all over it before rubbing its snout on it, followed by its face. In return, Hyoka began petting it. Unable to resist, he showed a bright smile on his face at his first success, but quickly went shy and changed his expression, using his other hand to tug on his fringe as if hiding his face. 「Look's like I got it this time.」
Turning away from Caer, he looked around to look for any spots in the area that looked like it would be somewhat undisturbed so that a rabbit would stay there without getting a shock. There were a few bushes here and there, but the frequency of boars made it troublesome. In his head, a rabbit wouldn't stay around a noisy and dangerous boar. With that thought in his head, he kept walking along for a while when he spotted a weasel nearby. Walking up to it with his boar following behind, he felt it might have a similar response to the rabbits earlier and so was more on edge. Even if he failed and it walked away, at least he would get experience for trying. Holding out the oats, the weasel looked between the hand, Hyoka and the boar and began to show its fangs. Backstepping a couple of times, Hyoka got ready to attack.
OOC: Okay if we fight this one? Or just let it go? your choice.

Subclass: Animal Trainer | Skill: Scout with [ Wild carrot ] | Scouting: Ike Caerbannog stayed close to her fellow animal trainer as they walked on. He seemed to be well aware of his surroundings and was not the type to derp around either. As she thought back on the earlier ‘failure’, the wolf-hair wondered how Hyouka felt about it. She remembered her one attempt at scouting a young pittered boar which ended in a miserable failure. Back then, the boar thing did not seem to like her, but it did like her food. So it was much to her relief, Hyouka’s attempt at scouting the boar ended with a more positive outcome. The wolf-hair continued to tail the other animal trainer without interfering with his decisions or actions. She was relieved to not be on the lead, but at the same time, she was on her toes for a freak of nature might suddenly- oh boy, there it is. A weasel. Caerbannog looked up the creature’s information and thankfully it was just a Level 8 weasel, the lowest one. She pulled out something from her inventory; it wasn’t a weapon, rather it was just a small item that was crudely shaped into a square. The animal trainer, who was also a chef, had given Hyouka one of her researched things: pet food. It consisted of oats, apples, carrots and honey. Understandably, it was a bit sticky to the touch but nothing that could stain clothes or the like. It worked like most other chef-made items in Elder Tale; pet food should be able to provide slight HP restoration. The item was also edible for humans what with the ingredients that Caerbannog chose, but it wasn’t meant to be filling at all. “ For weasel or for boar, “ the samurai said to Hyouka before she stepped between the young man and the weasel. If they were there, they might as well try something. The weasel was too high of a level for Hyouka to scout but not too high for Caerbannog. Still, her objective aside from finding Ike was to help out the other animal trainer. He could try scouting the weasel and fail, but at least that would be an attempt at using his subclass. Or, he could move in to try and beat down the weasel with his summon and his scouted boar. Either way, Caerbannog was all up for it. She merely stood there and let out an oppressive aura as she stared down the Level 8 Weasel and issued her Samurai's Challenge. Until the Challenge’s effect had worn out, the weasel could only attack the samurai and no one else. my name is hyōka with this name i hold i will scream out ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ With the challenge issued, Hyoka's mind sped up and began calculating each move he needed to take. His face became stern and void of emotion and expression and he backstepped a couple more times, pocketing the pet food with one hand and pulling out his grimoire with the other. With a hand outstretched, he called out his summon. 「Summon Familiar, Skeleton!」 From underneath the ground close to Caer, a skeletal warrior pierced through and stood up clad in rusty armor wielding a rusty one-handed sword and shield. 「Bones, take down that Weasel. Boar, please help him. I'll give you some food when you're done.」 Once the commands were issued, Bones (new skeleton name) looked as if his empty eye socket lit up a blue for a moment as he rushed to the weasel, striking at it without hesitation or deviation. The scouted boar seemed fired up too as it began charging, running first away to the side and then curving into the side of the weasel.
Not finishing there, Hyoka kept an eye on his mana bar as he positioned himself at mid-range, standing behind Caer but to the side enough so that he could attack with his grimoire's basic spell shot and not hit allies. Whenever he saw a space, he shot off a spell shot at the weasel. With his low level, and low level of supported, he doubted that he would be very effective, but he had to at least do his part while Samurai's Challenge was active. Constantly keeping an eye on the area in case he aggro'd other monster, Hyoka made sure he was safe since he was the one with the lowest health due to his class. Keeping a count on the duration of the Challenge, he attacked with his group for as long as he could. He didn't stay put either, moving around while staying behind the Samurai for safety. If possible, he wanted to find some high ground but it seemed doubtful at this point that he would get an advantageous spot for a battle that will probably end soon. When the counter was at five seconds remaining, Hyoka issued his next commands.
「Bones, position yourself to the left flank of the Weasel, scouted Boar, return to me and rest.」 As Bones got into position, Hyoka re-positioned himself to be behind the weasel at mid range with his boar providing him with defense. As long as the aggro was directed at the skeleton, he should be safe. As the Boar came back, Hyoka handed it the pet food from earlier and knelt down to feed it, petting it as he did so, keeping an eye on his surroundings all the while. If he kept the aggro directed at Caer and Bones, it would leave the weasel open for attack from behind. 「Bones, focus on defense, draw the weasel to you.」 Since it was a level 1 with rusty equipment, Bones probably wouldn't last long, but he appeared to have quite the fighting spirit as his eye sockets showed that glimmer of blue shine again in response. I'll get you some better gear, first chance I get. Just hold up the best you can.

Subclass: Animal Trainer | Skill: Scout with [ Wild carrot ] | Scouting: Ike As she watched the fight from a tank’s perspective, Caerbannog noted the summoner’s consideration of the party setup and his role. Since they did not have a healer, both players had to be careful with their hit points percentage; the samurai, not so much- the summoner though had to really watch his moves. Caer was disappointed when Hyouka’s summon turned out to be not so cute, or at all, but she did not let it show. She was on tank mode; emotions were irrelevant. The appearance of the summon worried her only momentarily since she remembered that she’d not synched down to his level. In her experience from tanking MMOs, certain summons, mostly the humanoid ones, usually had Hate-grabbing attacks and so were sometimes able to redirect the mob’s attention towards themselves and if the summon died, all that Hate would go to the summoner. In Caer’s case though, her ace move disallowed for such an override and so she waited out until the Challenge was almost over.
The samurai then pulled up her interface and took out her bow Notthrafn. She did not arm it but merely held it with her right hand as opposed to its usual utilization. Before Challenge ticked away completely, Caerbannog raised her weapon overhead and she began to spin it around, her ace move Mawarufuusen. In her experience, although the move pulled in a great amount of air and caused visible wind currents even, allies were not greatly affected by it. Only nearby opponents, and possibly people who were not in her party, were affected by the skill. It drew in the weasel steadily towards the eye of the mini tornado, the samurai Caerbannog. During that time, Hyouka would be free to throw his own attacks on the weasel for practice with either his own attacks, his summon or his scouted boar.
The summoner’s level, however, would not be enough to deal with a Level 8 weasel within such as short amount of time. When the target came within Caerbannog’s striking distance, she cancelled Mawarufuusen and kicked the weasel towards a tree. The creature was thrown back and its HP was almost in the red but the hit was not enough to kill it. Caerbannog did not go after the weasel either and so the creature just hissed at the adventurers then it turned tail and ran further into the woods. With that episode over, the samurai slung her yumi across her body with the bowstring up front and the nigiri on her back. She merely nodded at Hyouka and headed on out once he was ready; the wolf-hair discarded the thought of explaining herself, which would have been something along the lines of ‘True courage... blah blah... spare life... blah’
As the weasel escaped though, its movement pushed aside some of the lower shrubs and momentarily revealed a plain white rump which then bounded away. Caerbannog pointed at that direction a little way beyond some trees; to their right side, opposite of where the weasel went. How many white rabbits lived in Windsor Greatwoods? Probably not too many. Probably only one. The samurai ran ahead but not too face from Hyouka, and once his boar was up for the task, it could chase down the rabbit instead what with its body and senses which were better suited for the forest.

my name is hyōka with this name i hold i will scream out ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ As the battle ended, Hyoka immediately de-summoned his skeleton using a swipe of his hand, and then put his grimoire away as he watched the weasel scamper off. Watching it go for a while, he also noticed the white fluffball run away from a push that was distrubed. Looking at Caer who pointed in a direction to travel. Quickly giving chase and keeping up with the Samurai as best he could, Hyoka noticed his boar was faster than him. It was probably more familiar with the area than him as well. It seemed well rested after that pet food. 「Good boy. Scouted Boar, chase down that white rabbit, okay? But don't eat it, try to trap it.」 Hyoka wasn't sure is such detailed instructions would be followed out, but he at least gave it the benefit of a doubt. Keeping an eye out to each side, he looked for that white ball as well as any monster that looked like it would attack him.
Pursuing something he couldn't see, Hyoka could only trust his instincts as he ran. At one point, he saw something slightly off to the side that was running which was white so he headed that way, hoping he had gotten closer. Still, his boar should have been closer, so either way, it was better than wandering aimlessly. Eventually finding he was following a false track, he continued in the direction that he was previously going, running parallel to the previous path. He could hear his boar running, so he wasn't too far off. If he was lucky, his boar would chase it in his direction instead of away from everyone. Not knowing what was happening where his boar or where Caer were, Hyoka could only just run and hope he found something. Suddenly feeling his feet fall out from under him, his face whacked straight into a tree. Recovering without a thought to himself, he checked what he had tripped on to find that a slime was there. Luckily, he had taken little to no damage, and he could still out run it. Making his way onward, he wiped his face and felt the heat from the pain was slowly coming to him, though he ignored it regardless. Where had that boar gotten to?

Subclass: Animal Trainer | Skill: Scout with [ Wild carrot ] | Scouting: Ike From a third person perspective, the chase might have been reminiscent of a certain story about a girl and a white rabbit. Past the tall trees and dreary shrubs, the wolf-hair ran with nary a step wasted, though she remained ever cautious. And so it was to her surprise that she lost her fellow animal trainer. Still the scouted boar remained hot on the trail of the white rabbit, the line between the trainer and his scouted creature was not cut, thus Caerbannog surmised that Hyouka remained in good condition. As for the summoner, his path took him through a darker side of the woods overseen by thicker foliage, but the density of the undergrowth was about the same as the one on his boar’s path.
Soon the white creature which the boar and the samurai had been chasing came across a fallen log which disallowed further advancement. It turned around and true enough, the creature’s name was ‘Ike’. Caerbannog caught up with the boar just as it grunted towards the frightened rabbit, but as its trainer had instructed, the creature simply kept Ike in place by scaring it ever so slightly. To show the boar that it did a job well done, the wolf-hair took out an apple and tossed it over to one side of the log where the creature could rest while keeping the white rabbit in place. As for Caerbannog, she walked over to the right side of the log to prevent the rabbit from escaping to that area. For the middle part, she expected Hyouka to reach that area soon and to take the rabbit for himself. It would be good practice and quite an achievement too, to scout and complete a quest altogether.

my name is hyōka with this name i hold i will scream out ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ ✥ Finding the really rough tracks his scouted boar had made, Hyoka found himself back on track and started running in the correct direction. It wasn't long until he came across the rabbit trapped on three sides by a log, a boar and a Samurai. Getting the gist of it as he approached, Hyoka blocked the final exit as he got there, taking a few seconds to catch his breath. Once he was ready, he knelt down and got closer to the rabbit, confirming the name to be Ike and then double checking it against the flyer which he held next to the rabbit. It sniffed the flyer for a while before nibbling on it, seeming to remember the smell. Placing the flyer down, Hyoka cupped his hands and after some hesitation and talking to, Ike finally accepted and hopped onto his hands. Bringing Ike in close to his chest, he thanked the scouted boar as he let it roam again, turning to Caer.
「Quest Complete. Thanks, good work.」 Only now does Hyoka seem to show an expression as a smile forms on his face, and his hair parts to reveal his sparkling blue eyes. Starting his way back to the city, he reflected on his experiences and knowledge thus far. There was clearly plenty that he needed to learn and do, such as replacing his equipment to begin with. And then that of his skeleton. Before that, he also had to check the level requirements and the cost of things. Moving on, he would have to recheck his level and gold when he got back. Check the skill list for what he should get next if he had gone up enough, and so on. Seeing the city gates ahead, Hyoka breathed a sigh of relief as he held Ike. Heading back into the city, he looked for the Lander Mike and, upon finding him, he handed the bunny over. Giving a smile to the client, Hyoka went off on his own after saying farewell to Caer.

Subclass: Animal Trainer | Skill: Scout with [ Wild carrot ] | Scouting: Ike
Caerbannog had gotten slightly worried when Hyouka did not appear immediately from the woods behind her, but the summoner soon arrived and rejoined them in their quest. His scouted boar had done its job well and all the starter animal trainer had to do was to coerce the white rabbit named Ike. After having been allowed to sniff at the flyer which had the familiar scent of its owner Mike, the rabbit became less apprehensive of the presence of the strangers.
The wolf-hair walked behind the summoner to ensure that no wayward weasels went after them for kicks or for revenge. Once they reached Londenium, the white rabbit was handed over to its owner who was no less than overjoyed to see his pet in good condition. Caerbannog bowed to him politely and to Hyouka as well, and she muttered a simple farewell.
“ Otsukaresamadeshita~ “ and then the girl went on her way.
