MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | Now that she had gained sufficient practice on brewing the Burn Cream while in Sarum, Han decided to try and make it for herself this time; because she needed to refine her Pharmacist skills. She was hell-bent on going on a ‘mixing marathon’ so that she could at least have experience on brewing all of the currently-known Pharmacist recipes at least once; because she’d already done so on two of the existing recipes. One of the potions she made went to the red-head, while the other was reserved for her own personal use. Plucking the piece of paper from her pocket, she then analyzed the recipes for the remaining potions and solutions she had to make, and placed a tiny check mark on the Burn Cream, as she was going to try to make that one first. She then proceeded with setting up her work space; as she needed to make sure she could get going without having to stop. She then proceeded to look through the recent restocking that she’d done with her ingredients; and then decided to select two Solvents and one Tablet, before consulting her copy of the recipe.
Oops, apparently the way I did it in Sarum is slightly different, but hopefully this one is the correct procedure… she thought to herself as she then set up the ‘pot’ over a fire that she was now trying to get going; why was it so had to get flames burning for the first time it was lit, she would never know… after a while, she had managed to succeed in getting a fire going, at the expense of ash and smoke stinging her eyes and making her cough like a hyena. Ack, never doing that again, I really should look around if they have a lighter… or something of that technology available… she thought once more as she then proceeded to pour out the contents of one of the bottles of the Solvent that she was going to use; and then leaving it in the pot to simmer for a while. Well, there are distinct similarities in the steps like what I did in Sarum, however they’re still different in their own way… she continued to herself as she then dumped out the ol’ handy mortar and pestle, before turning the Tablet over and over in her hands, trying to scrutinize it before actually figuring out what it was.
“Why didn’t I see that before,” she murmured to herself, before uncorking the second bottle of Solvent and pouring just enough to make a shallow puddle of water form in the bottom of the bowl. She then dropped the Tablet into the mixture, and then picked up the pestle and then began to pound the two together; mixing the Tablet with the little puddle of Solvent she’d tossed in there. Knowing that she would have to do this for a while, she then consulted the recipe, before seeing that she needed to add the rest of the remaining Solvent to the ‘pot’ once the ‘first batch’ had already reached a low simmering boil. Yes, definitely Potions-like… she thought to herself, whistling a tune as she then continued to grind the tablet into the finest powder that the Burn Cream recipe dictated; she had to make it as ‘liquid-like’ as possible before proceeding with the rest of the recipe itself.

MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | Han was now ‘going into the zone’ so to speak, with her whistling and the rhythmic pounding noise from the mortar and pestle serving to relax her. She knew that she needed to check on the ‘pot’, but she couldn’t hear any unusual noises coming from it yet, so she knew that it was still too early to go over and check; plus the Tablet and the scant drops of Solvent had to ‘mesh’ together; and she would eventually have to add this mixture to the bubbling goo in the ‘pot’. Her eyes then wandered over to where the fire was, and saw that it was flickering; she then continued to mash the mix in the bowl as long as she could before finally dropping the pestle and picking up some scrap pieces of cardboard she’d found lying around the ‘space’ she was now busy trying to renovate into her own ‘hideout’. She then took a deep breath and approached the flickering, sputtering fire, and hissed; why did she not pile more ‘fuel’ on it; which was just torn-out pages from the other books she’d found, in the first place? No wonder it was taking a while for the darned thing to come to a slow, rolling boil.
“Stupid fire…” she hissed to herself as she then began fanning the underside of the pot, watching as the sparks flew over the dried-up pieces of paper; all to no avail. “Must I really blow on the embers…?” she groaned to herself, remembering what had happened earlier; she’d gotten a face, as well as a mouthful, of ashes due to that. She then sighed and tossed the makeshift fan aside and took a deep breath, before squatting down and exhaling. Her action then sent even more ashes to fly around, flittering and entering her nose; suddenly making it so ticklish… ah shit, don’t sneeze onto the fire, turn away, turn away! She thought to herself as she forced her head to turn to one side and she released a very loud sneeze that echoed around the room. “Ugh, gross,” she said after that was over, and then returned to blowing on the embers of the fire; and alternately fanning it so that it would keep going. After some time, she had managed to get the fire actually hot enough, so she then made her way back to the abandoned mortar and pestle.
“Okay, now to continue,” she said to herself, picking up the pestle and mashing the solution in the bowl once more; making sure that it was well-mixed, because this was going to be the main component of the solution she was trying to make. After a while, she thought she heard bubbling coming from the pot, so she then made her way over, bringing along the other bottle of Solvent and peering into the maw of said pot, and saw that there were bubbles forming along the side. She could also hear simmering, gurgling noises, so she knew that this was the right time to add the rest of the remaining Solvent to the mix. She then remembered that she needed to get the stirrer ready, so she made her way back towards the ‘bag’, leaving the bottle of Solvent near the pot, that had the rest of her ‘kit’ packed in. After some fiddling around, finally managed to find the wooden stirrer, and pulled it out of the jumble of stuff. She then tapped it against her other hand and strode over to where the solution was now bubbling; and then dropped the stirrer into the pot first, before grabbing the opened bottle and then dumping the rest of the contents in.
She heard a sizzling noise, before quickly stirring the solution s that the two had enough time to mesh together properly, and kept this up for the next few minutes, stirring feverishly. Once the entire thing had come to a proper rolling boil, she then let the stirrer settle against one side of the pot and then made her way back to where the ‘mixed’ solution in the mortar was, and carried it over to where the rest of the ‘solution’ was now boiling. She then tapped the sides of the bowl, making sure that the entire contents of said bowl poured in, and there was a distinct hissing noise as liquid met mixed solid-liquid. She then snuck a look and saw that from the point of impact, the colorless nature of the Solvent was now reacting with the mixed-up Tablet and Solvent solution, and it was gradually changing color.

MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | Seeing that the mixture was now changing color, Han then decided to consult her copy of the recipe again; and saw that this time she had to stir it for an undetermined amount of time; or at least until it lost its watery quality and had the consistency of something close to gravy. Wondering if the wording on the recipe was right (because to her it said that the consistency had to be something like gravy, but in her mind it had to be much thicker than that) she then snorted for a few moments, before picking up the wooden stirrer and then stirring the solution like mad, making sure to keep an eye on the color. She knew that the final result had to be some kind of yellowish-hue, but as of the moment the thing was just a deep shade of purple. Did I even do it right? She thought to herself as she began stirring the entire thing; she could tell that the solution was still watery, from the way that it sounded whenever she would run the stirrer through the mix. She then continued to stir the entire thing in silence, keeping an eye out should it ever change color while she was doing the motions.
At least my arms are getting a workout… she thought to herself as she lifted the stirrer from the solution in the pot and saw that it was still watery; although she noticed something peculiar. The color earlier was a deep shade of purple, but now it was thinning out to some kind of lavender shade. Am I on the right track…? She thought once again as she quickly snatched up the copy of the recipe she was consulting and saw that on the final few lines that the changing of color through the color spectrum was ‘normal’, and that she should not stop stirring until it turned yellow. “Yes!” she crowed in triumph, picking up the pace and stirring the entire contents of the pot as fast and as carefully as she could. She knew that if she spilled even one drop of the thing, it would be all over, so she then developed a rhythm, watching as the lavender faded to midnight blue; and then the colors shifted and progressed from blue to green. She then noticed that the texture was becoming thicker, making it harder to actually mix consistently, and she knew that she was on the right track at this time.
After another few minutes of mixing, she then stopped, as the green faded away to yellow. She was very close to completing the solution; and now she knew that she had to take it off from the fire and let it cool down before repackaging it into something she could use on the go. What she forgot to do though was to wear gloves, so in her excitement she grabbed the pot with her bare hands and all; and then only noticed the pain a few moments later. “Ouch!” she shouted, almost dropping the hot utensil on the floor; but quickly finding a place to set it down on and wring out her hands, because they were stinging. “That hurt…” she hissed, quickly assessing the damage; both hands were red and raw, with the skin peeling in some places. Holy crap that was stupid of me to do, she thought to herself angrily as she then began to wring out her hands to lessen the pain, when she realized something. “Stupid!” she hissed to herself, taking a look and wondering if testing the product was alright to do. Pfft of course it is, it’s my own creation… she thought dismissively as she then reached for a handful of the now-thick, yellowish, pasty solution and then gingerly began rubbing it over the hurting areas.
She then felt a cooling sensation spread from the point where she had applied it; and then knew that it was working; plus it was also helping reduce the amount of stinging that she was currently experiencing. Well, I know it works, she continued to herself, quickly applying a sparing amount on her other hand and massaging it across the burned surface; she then noticed that the redness of her skin was receding somewhat and that the heat she had felt earlier had also reduced somewhat. “Well then, at least I know it's effective…” she muttered to herself as she began repacking the finished solution and then clearing away her work space; but she wasn’t done for the day yet, as she still had three more recipes to try at least once before the day was over. Next stop, Nighteye Solution… she thought as she finished repacking the Burn Cream and cleaning up the area, preparing for the next solution that she was going to make.
