Apart from her frail body, her pale skin and very long hair as dark as a starless night that looks like it's constantly groomed meticulously can have one mistaking her for someone who lives a life of grandeur, elegance, and wealth. That is, until she stares someone directly in the eyes. Her eyes are a dull yellow, and combined with her skin that seems to show little to no blood coursing through it, one could easily think that they are staring at a ghost. Apart from that, she loves wearing dark-colored clothes. Her expression varies from person to person, but with her usual posture one can see order and elegance. Shroud, her alternate persona in the game of Elder Tale, looks strikingly similar. However, the only difference is that she has a much fuller form and more mature body. Significantly taller than her real world self, she looks more like someone in her late teens. Her expressions are always sharp. They show elegance and beauty, but also a hint of deceit and deadliness. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"] Kuroko's personality carries over as Shroud in Elder Tale. She considers life to be fleeting, and she seeks thrills that gets her heart pumping and senses on overdrive. As she was required to stay mostly indoors, she craved to feel the richness of life. Because of that, she often daydreamed and lived her fantasies through games. When she starts to play them, she gets completely immersed in their worlds. That immersion carries over to her dreams when she finally sleeps, then to her dreams in the day when she escapes her boring real life. Most of the things she does, she justifies by saying that it is what gave her thrill, it was what she felt made her feel alive. She despised being 'protected' by others, and not being taken seriously because of her age. Because of this, she tries to be as mature and formal as possible when she speaks and does anything in front of others. Besides all that, she enjoys different varieties of chocolates. Her pastimes aside from video games involve teasing and playing pranks on people in her home, reading books about suspense, horror, and mythology, dabbling on a bit of writing, and just minding her own business when she wanted to be alone. She seems to have developed a minor case of superiority complex and narcissism throughout her time in Elder Tale. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"] Kuroko lived an extremely sheltered life. Being the youngest daughter of a family that is rather well-off, and being born with rather pleasing assets, she was a valued member of the family. Not only that, but being born with frail physique and health led her parents to be overprotective of her. She was not allowed to go out of their home without her parents' permission, and because of that she was home schooled. During her early youth, she was fascinated by the fantasy and mystery books in their library. The tales of danger and adventure made her wish that she had a life like that. Eventually, that led her to play her very first video game. Her parents, seeing that it helped her stay in the house where it safe, approved of it. Finally, she found an outlet to give her a sense of adventure. However, that was not enough for her. Oftentimes, she would look out of their window and see her brothers and sisters playing outside and meeting up with friends. It made her feel envious of the freedom they got. In order to sate more of her desires and get back on her siblings at the same time, she started to play pranks on them and tease them for every mistake they made or every exploitable thing they had such as observable crushes and the like. Of course, she had fun while doing it, and she had a sense of danger as she was chased down by her rampaging siblings wanting to give her a good beatdown for something she said. That was the life she chose to lead, as it was the closest she can get to fulfilling what she's always dreamed of... until the Catastrophe happened. The last thing she remembered was logging onto the game of Elder Tale. Next thing she knew, she was alive within the game itself. However, she felt different as she was now in the body of Shroud, the persona she created in the game. It took a bit of getting used to as she stumbled on every step and needed to get used to everything different with her body. However, she eventually was able to move as if it was how her body has been the entire time. Her first thoughts, of course, was asking herself what happened that led her to live in Elder Tale's world. At first, she thought that it was all a dream, but as she slept, she woke up to the same world: Elder Tale. After much thinking, she decided to embrace the life she had now. She could finally do the things she could never do in the real world... she could finally live a life of excitement and thrill. Because of that, she chose to take on the most dangerous occupation she could think of: becoming a hitman and putting others' life in danger along with hers. The PvP thread is then locked after this bonus is applied.
