Standing at 6'2", his body is ripped. Muscles are not lacking from this character, that is for certain. He isn't overbearingly buff, but it is easy to tell what class he is simply from a glance. Scars are slashed across his pale-skinned chest and arms, perhaps implying he has been in a fight or two with some blade wielders. He has also taken to wrapping cloth around his fists, mainly for the "coolness" factor of how it looks. It does absolutely nothing else considering he battles with his bare fists and feet. His face is actually free of scarring, flawless white skin with rather sharp features. His jawline forms well with his pointed chin. A pair of golden eyes peer out, a very noticeable characteristic of his. More of a straightened shape instead of the usual almond, they are framed by thick, deep red lashes. Leading us to his hair. Tai's hair is somewhat of a mess, which is why he keeps it tied back in a simple, low ponytail. The color is that of his lashes, deep red. The layers throughout his hair are choppy, and while the ponytail holds most of it back, his bangs are framed at the sides of his head. Random pieces stick out randomly, but it seems to suit him as a monk nevertheless. In real life Taios, or Julian as he is called, is definitely not monk material. He has the body of a semi-fit businessman, perhaps going to the gym every couple of days but still enjoying his fast food as well. He stands relatively close to his character's height, about 6'0" even. His hair is very different as well, short and blonde, usually slicked back when in the office but otherwise allowed to do what it pleases, which usually means messily falling around his ears. His eyes are a light green color, the outer edges bordered with a darker green. There isn't much to tell as to why Julian doesn't represent his character, he simply randomized until he got a "cool" looking character. Lo and behold Taios was born. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Taios is a very relaxed man, taking things day by day. Unless you give him a reason not to, he generally likes everyone. But who does he really like? Women. And you could consider Taios a bit of a womanizer in that regard. With the majority of women, he is an overbearing gentleman with a perverted side. Not that he'd ever do anything without permission of course, but most ladies can tell what he is interested in from a simple interaction. It takes a lot for a woman to get on his bad side as well. As a rule of thumb, Taios has a pretty golden heart when it comes to the ladies. Along with being relaxed, Taios is a jokester. He doesn't take a whole lot seriously in this world, that is for certain. In his eyes, it's the same game he just started playing not too long ago. This is a trait that the real player, Julian, has always held dear for himself. He's not quite so womanizing in the real world, but he has and will always be something of a class clown. And this factor either makes Taios someone lovable or just plain annoying. Even in battle he tends to screw around. It's all a game after all. Perhaps it is easiest to compare this monk to something of a puppy. All play, nearly all the time. When things get serious however, he is a reliable friend to have on your side. He is a loyal friend, meaning he'd most likely take a bullet for you if it came down to it. Not that it is such a serious thing to do in this game, as bullets don't even exist and you come back to life anyway... But the intention is there and is what means the most. To befriend Taios is to have a constant companion you can rely on at all times, as long as you can put up with his stupid jokes and enjoyment of females. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]Since the earliest memories of Julian Faust, he has always been a silly guy. As a kid he was constantly entertaining his family with his little "comedy sketches" as he called them. He was always a nice kid as well, never fought with anyone. It was this way for years, and he had plenty of great times with his neighborhood friends. But eventually that changed once Julian began secondary school. To truly understand his life and the events that unfolded you must know his location. He is from and currently resides (well, before The Catastrophe) in Germany. He comes from a decently wealthy family that could afford putting him into private school, something of a privilege in that country. As such, school was meant to be taken seriously. And by the time he was in secondary school, it became apparent things were changing. Most of his friends did not go to his school to start, which was a difficult thing to deal with. At school, while he was the class clown, he was also picked on due to not being serious enough. Trouble seemed to always find him in the way of bullies and his grades started to slip. While his parents tried to encourage him, it was not enough. But that changed when his father decided to buy him a computer. As long as his grades went up, he was allowed to use it. At first it meant nothing to Julian, but that was before he discovered MMORPGs. Once discovering these fantastic worlds, he had a desire to play on the computer more. Within several months he was actually near the top of his class in terms of grade ranking. He decided at that point he would succeed in life and never sacrifice who he was. But the boy was far from a man, and knew little of what could change in ten or so years. Julian graduated second in his class and went straight to business school for his degrees. He became a rather serious man, except for when he played MMORPGs. All throughout university he played while maintaining his grades, but after graduating he had to put a stop to it for some years. He became focused on work, it slowly consumed his life. If he wasn't working, he was thinking about work. His friends were strictly coworkers. He dated those women he met through work, though the relationships could never last due to his dedication. He was fueled by the flames of showing everyone they were wrong about him, the class clown could and would be more. And succeed he did. But a little part of him was now lost to the world... until that fateful day. Randomly, an old friend of his from an online game sent him an email labeled as: You REALLY Need to Try This!!! At first, Julian simply thought the account had been hacked and went to delete it. But as it so often happens, instead of checking the box to delete the email he mis-clicked on it and actually opened it. At this point he might as well read it. Inside was a link to a game called Elder Tale for a Britain server, Unfounded Kingdom. His eyes went wide, as he had heard about Elder Tale quite some time ago. It was a revered game in Europe but could never be played due to its Asian roots. Had they finally started to localize it in the west?! His curiosity grew for days, as he did not delete the email. He was unsure if he could do it, manage his time between work and the game... but then he realized, all his time spent thinking about work and hanging out with people from work that he cared little to nothing about was technically free time.
