Otherwise, his appearance remains much the same – short blonde hair, dark eyes and a skinny frame. One notable difference is his height, since he’s actually shorter in the game by a few inches. He always found that being 6’2” and clumsy got him into too much trouble, so he adjusted his height to 5’9” when making his character. He still tends to trip over his feet, but not quite as frequently as he would in real life. In-game, Ramon chose to remain as a human, liking the versatility the class gave him even though he doesn’t have as much staying power or MP as other classes. As a member of the Druid class, he prefers robes over actual armour, liking the scholarly look they give him. When in town, he’ll sometimes exchange his robes for a comfortable tunic and trousers, but not always. The colour scheme varies depending on his mood, but he keeps to earthy colours like greens and reds, thinking that they might help him not stand out as much when out and about. His pale skin gives him a bit of an unearthly look, but if it helps to make him look more imposing, he doesn’t really mind. [attr="class","h3"]Personality [attr="class","b"]Ramon is pretty quiet by nature, having grown up in a chaotic household. But don’t let his quietness fool you – he may be slow to make friends, but he’s quite friendly once he opens up to someone, and is always willing to lend a hand to someone in need. Although serious most of the time, he still likes to have a laugh now and again, occasionally going as far as playing a small joke on someone he knows extremely well. He doesn’t really have a strong sense of justice like some of the other players do, having accepted that players killing each other is a natural thing in games like the Elder Tale. As such, he’s cautious about his money and valuable items, not wanting to lose anything too important if he should happen to die by another’s hand. Ramon also doesn’t mind being trapped, unable to return home. His misses his studies, but with a whole new world to explore and learn about he doesn’t really miss his past life all the much. The abilities of his subclasses made him curious just what else he can do and discover, so his natural curiosity has led him to explore as much as he can, usually on his own. [attr="class","h3"]History [attr="class","b"]The third of five children, and the youngest of three bothers, Raymond quickly learned how to amuse himself most of the time. When he was young, it was games by himself in the woods bordering his family’s property, but as he got older, he found video games to be just as much fun. His first few systems were hand-me-downs from his older brothers, and when not in school, he played them as much as he could. Once he was old enough, he was tasked with looking after his younger sisters, and eventually introduced them to video games as well, although he deemed them to be terrible at it. Despite his love of gaming, Raymond also enjoyed school and was good at it, so while he sometimes set aside his games for studying, he always returned to whatever he had been playing refreshed and ready to have some His eldest brother moved out when Raymond was fifteen, and that same year he started his first job. It was just a part-time deal, but it allowed him to buy his first new computer. His first new computer game came as a Christmas gift from his parents, and Raymond plunged into the world of MMO’s, eager to see what they were like. As the years passed and he found his passion of studying, he began to game less, limiting himself to a select few online games. He was in university when he heard about the new expansion for Elder Tale, full of adventure and excitement and promising a level playing field for all the players who signed up. Deciding that his studies were going well enough to justify picking up a new game, especially one that was as highly regarded as Elder Tale.
