"Dull" discovery [Solo]

[Sunku]

Life isn't that bad....

It had been a hard week for Sunku, the male had not only just ran away from group of mobs, but in the same week he was trapped within this reality. 'It was way better as just an mmo,' he thought to himself as he walked to the nearest tree. This was the male's first effort to ever try and level up, but it was harder than he had thought. "I need a rest, I've been running around all day trying to level up and I'm just not getting it..." he sighed before sitting at the trunk of a tree. It wasn't hard for Sunku to sleep anywhere, which is what made the tree a perfect place to take a break from his training. Just as he had leaned against the trunk and closed his eyes, he had felt a cold feeling in is hip. Opening an eye, Sunku looked at the hip which he had the feeling in. "Is that a slime?" he asked himself as he looked to the monster's name. "Dull Green Slime. Level two," he said to himself before standing up slowly and turning towards the slime.

"What are you doing here little buddy?" he asked looking at the curious natured mob. Sunku loved some of the mobs in the reality he now lived in. Any mob with a curious nature was usually his favorite. As Sunku knelt down to seem smaller to the slime, he heard a small rustle in the bushes to his right. "Huh?" he turned his head before standing and getting his katana ready. Sunku was ready for boar to jump out at him due to the day's earlier events. However, to his surprise another Dull Green Slime jumped out, it was even the same level. Putting his katana away, Sunku let out a small chuckle. "You scared me ya know," he said with a small smile. 'Maybe you two will help me level up,' he thought to himself. Now he found a mob he could take down, but not just one, two! It was a great discovery for him.

Being that he had found two weak mobs, Sunku had made up his mind. "How do you two feel about being the first two mobs I take down?" he asked looking at the mobs as if they were going to respond. The only sign of acknowledgement he noticed was that one of them was curious and had hopped closer. Letting out a small sigh, Sunku shook his head a bit. "You know I almost feel kind of bad for you guys, not being able to understand me and all," he said as he reached for the long-sword mounted on his back. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, these were the only two mobs that Sunku felt like he could take. Taking their curious nature as an advantage, Sunku knelt down and held out his right hand as if to call the slim towards him. Surprisingly it worked because the slime was now hoping towards him. 'This is kinda cool,' he thought to himself as he gripped his long-sword tight. It only took one more hope from the slim to set Sunku into action. As the slime landed, Sunku brought his sword diagonally up through the slime. It was a direct hit and what seemed like a critical. "Whoa! That was cool," he said to himself as he noticed the other slime was now hostile. "Hey there, no need to get physical here," he said before shrugging. "You know what, never mind." Sunku took two steps towards the slime before jumping into the air. As he was in the air, he started spinning, his long-sword held tight. 'Deadly Dance,' he thought as he used the skill. Sadly he had missed, hitting the ground with the blade. "Huh?" he turned around to see that the slime was just as confused. 'Guess I over did the jump huh?' he though to himself as he stood to face the slime.

The slime seemed to be more confused than Sunku was, but that was probably due to it being a low leveled mob. "You looking for me?" he asked in a mocking kind of tone. Sunku knew that was exactly what the slime was looking for which is what made Sunku have a small chuckle. Walking slowly towards the slime, Sunku held the long-sword tight as it turned to face him. "I'm sure you can't do much damage to me so I'm just gon-" he started before getting cut off by a weird feeling in his stomach. It seemed that the slime had launched at him and solidified before making contact. Sunku stumbled back a little before regaining his balance. "Now you messed up," Sunku said before running at the slime. The mob had squished down into a 'priming' state so it could launch at him. 'Prepare yourself fool,' he thought as he got closer. Launching itself in the air, it started to solidify once more. "Ha!" Sunku exclaimed before bringing the long-sword up through the middle of the slime and then bringing it back down at another part of the slime. The mob had fallen to the ground and exploded into pixels. This made him happy, seeing as he had taken on two mobs a level higher than him. "To me that seems like one level four? Nah, those are probably stronger," he said as he started back towards the city he had left.
