After Ame had taken a sip of the mana potion that Lavinia had made for her, she took the top, put it on the bottle and licked her lips. "Oddly enough, it tastes sort of sweet." She smiled to her and then got up from her seat as Lavinia would state that she was, in fact, feeling hungry. "Alright, then, let's begin our next journey together. Shopping time!" She took the bottles of mana potion and placed them in her inventory. She would help Lavinia with any cleaning up that they would have to do and then turn to leave, holding the door open for Lavinia. "Thank you again, for everything." She would smile and the door would close behind them.
Their first task of the second part of their day was, as she had said, shopping for the items that she would need. She stopped at a small fruit stand and purchased a small container of strawberries. She figured it would make about 4 sittings, including the dressing she would make. Next, they entered the local super market. There she would purchase a small bottle of extra virgin olive oil and a spice mix that included basil, oregano and parsley. She also picked up a head of lettuce and a chunk of feta cheese then took it all to the checkout. She thanked the woman who had served them, and then she would lead Lavinia to their last stop before taking her to the spot that she was currently residing. She walked into the butcher's shop and the man at the counter greated her. She had purchased the meat for their sandwiches here and he seemingly remembered her as he greeted her sweetly, asking what she was here for this time. With a small giggle, she would ask for some chicken. He brought out the wrapped chicken and she took it, also thanking him with a small nod to her head. He called after her, saying that he would see her soon, with made a laugh escape her lips as she nodded to him. She loved the People of the Land that she had encounters so far.
As she came to the house she had been staying at, she saw the elderly woman, Lynn, leaving it. She tilted her head and called out to her. "Hey Lynn, where are you off to?" Lynn graced her presence with a wide smile and took her hand. "Oh, I am off to go visit my grand children. I won't be home until later so you and your friend have fun, and no parties." She would smile to Lavinia and then laugh, shaking her head as she wandered down the road. Ame shook her head too. "That's Lynn. She allowed me to stay with her after I used her kitchen the first time. Her daughter and husband live a bit away so she doesn't visit them very often. You stay at the inn right?" She asked, tilting her head to Lavinia as she opened the door and held out her hand, letting her know to go inside. She had stayed her first couple nights at the inn as well, but was happy when Lynn had allowed her to stay with her and use her kitchen whenever she wanted. She felt bad at first, but the elder lady had assured her that her company was welcome, and more than welcome, enjoyed, so she had made the decision to stay with her until she found her own place.

Lavinia was surprised when Kitty commented that the potion tasted sort of sweet. She always imagined that the potions she'd make wouldn't taste all that great. "Time to clean up, luckily its quick and easy." she said smiling as she scooped up all the containers in both hands, some wedged in between fingers or gripped in between her index fingers and thumb. Taking them to the near by sink all it took was a quick rinse from a disinfectant in a large bottle with a special cap to limit the flow and a rinse of tap water. She had everything rinsed and set to dry on a rack in the blink of an eye and was ready to follow Kitty to shop for the meal to come. As she followed Kitty towards the door Lavinia reached into her pocket and pulled out a handful of coins on the counter smiled goodbye to the shopkeeper and he nodded and smiled in return. By now Lavinia knew how much he'd charge for materials and paying a little extra never hurt. As Lavinia thanked her she smiled at her appreciation, Lavinia was glad that she could be of some help and would gladly do it again if asked. "No problem at all, its the least I can do." she said as they left the shop and headed out onto the street. Lavinia gladly followed Kitty around as she shopped for the items they needed for her or maybe both of their meal. "So whats on the shopping list?" she asked softly as they were at the first shop where fruits and vegtibles were sold. Not surprising when Kitty bought a small container of strawberries, she was supposed to be making Strawberry and Chicken Salad after all. As Lavina watched Kitty purchase them she looked at the container longingly, she couldn't help but want a few to munch on. Lavinia was never a great cook, she could make simple things, but her favorite part of cooking was that you got to sample the ingredients as you cooked. Even if Kitty didn't notice Lavina practically drooling over them she could wait until the meal was prepared. As she followed Kitty from shop to shop the list grew and grew and she started to wonder if the cost of the meal would surpass the seventy five gold the five mana potions cost to make. "All the shopkeepers seem to love you. I'm kind of jealous..." she commented smiling as they left the butcher's shop. The only People of the Land she interacted with regularly was the shopkeeper of the pharmacy store where she regularly hangs out to work on her crafting class. He wasn't much of a conversationalist either, he was quiet, knowledgeable and kind, just like Lavinia. It was slightly awkward that the shopkeeper and Lavinia were so much alike, it was even stranger that she didn't realize this yet. As the two walked toward a house that Lavinia assumed was where Kitty was staying. Lavinia saw an elderly woman near the entrance to the house and presumed it was the owner Kitty mentioned the other day. Kitty refereed to the woman as Lynn , a nice name Lavinia thought, as the two conversed Lynn mentioned not having any parties while she was away. Lavinia would return the smile Lynn gave her and nodded slightly in greeting and gratefulness for allowing them to use her home. Lavinia thought it would wise to wait until Lynn was out of earshot before commenting on the no parties rule "What no parties? How lame!" she said to Kitty with a serious upset tone at first but then unable to contain herself and laughing toward the end. "Such a nice woman, I'm glad you have some place nice like this to stay and yes I stay at the Inn." Lavinia says softly as she follows Kitty's body language to go ahead and enter the house. Ame smiled widely as Lavinia spoke to her, telling her that she was a bit jealous. She felt her cheeks turn a light pink and she nodded her head. "I love to cook, and I suppose they can sense it off of me, besides, I've met them all a few times before." She didn't cook as often as she wanted to, but she was sure that she would find more time soon, and it would probably help if she had her own space for setting up her utensils and such. As they reached the house she let out a loud laugh as Lavinia stated no parties being lame, and nodded with her words. "Yes, I truly am grateful. She's such a kind woman and I'm sure she was lonely once her daughter got married and moved out." She felt strange talking about Lynn's past, because really, she was just supposed to be a computer program, though she felt real to her. Her words, the way she acted, the way she remembered things about Ame, they were all so real to her. Ame sighed. "She's certainly grown on me, so much that I feel like she's my grandmother, though really, I wouldn't know the love of one as kind as her." Aah, she slipped again. She didn't want to talk about her other life, or so she thought, but the look Lavinia had given before, reminded her of her own feelings, so perhaps she felt as though she could trust her with the truth of her other life.
She followed Lavinia in, closing the door behind them. The inside of the house was quite quaint, very edo period styled, even though Ame found that strange as the woman's name was Lynn. There was a table in the middle of the room with four cushions on each of the four sides, a chest for knic knac's, though she hadn't seen what was inside and a few pictures of Lynn and her family posted on a nice fire place. The room was bright, with three fairly large windows on one wall, and on the other there was two sheets hanging as doors, leading to the two bedrooms. The cushions and sheets were a matching, light yellow color, making the wood in the room seem to glow, or so she thought. She walked through the room, into the open door way where the kitchen was. There was a large stone oven on the front wall, and many cupboards and draws about. In the middle was also a table, set with four cushions, these were both yellow and red, matching the red stones on the oven. She would set the bags of groceries down on the floor and point to a cushion on the far side of the table, away from the oven. She would need the one closest. "You can have a seat, I'm just going to gather what I need from the cupboards."
She went over and began her search. Once she was finished, she would have one large bowl, a medium sized bowl and a small one, a matching set to be exact. She had one large and one medium sized cutting board, three different knives, a wooden masher, a whisk, a frying pan and a spatula. She was one of those cooks that preferred to utilize all of the utensils to create a magical dish. She took the chicken out first and laid it down on the medium sized cutting board, then, using the knife that had teeth on the ends, she began cutting it into medium sized slices, after cutting the entire breast in half. She did the second one the same. She would toss the slices into the pan and then wash her hands quickly, but vigorously. She opened the olive oil and poured a very small amount in the frying pan, just enough to make sure the chicken wouldn't stick to the pan, then she opened the seasoning and sprinkled a little of it around. She tossed a small log of wood into the oven and waited for it to catch the fire, the put the pan atop the grill and lightly shook it for a moment. She then took the strawberries out and washed them, then the lettuce. She put the lettuce on a nearby drying rack and put the strawberries onto the larger cutting board. She cut off the tops of them, where the green leaves sat and handed Lavinia five of them. "Don't worry, I saw you eying them up!" She let out a soft giggle and then threw five others into the smallest bowl. She took the wooden masher and began to mash the strawberries, every so often turning slightly with her body to flip the chicken a small bit, she didn't want them to burn, and preferred them to crisp on all sides.

Lavinia really didn't have anything to add after Kitty spoke so she just quietly listened and followed as they did the shopping. However one thing she said got her attention, not knowing the love of a grand mother. "Hmmm?" she asked, curious how someone wouldn't know what it was like, well unless Kitty was like Lavinia, but that couldn't be. She also never knew what having a grand mother was like, she was to young to remember her own, if she had any. Then she was moved from house to house so frequently that she never got to get to know or sometimes even meet the grand parents of the people that took her in. As Lavinia walked through the door the inside of the house was rather nice, a bit odd styled for its location but nice none the less. It looked Japanese which puzzled Lavinia since they were in England, the buildings and architecture should resemble English architecture, but this house was an oddity. As she walked around the room exaniming she stopped and looked at the pictures of Lynn's family. "Her daughter is pretty, did you get to meet her yet?" she commented to Kitty as she continued to on and followed Kitty into the next room. Sitting where she was instructed Lavinia's curiousity was getting the better of her about this house. "Why is this place modeled after a home from Japan? Is Lynn Japanese?" she asked as she looked around the kitchen. As Kitty worked the art of cooking which was pretty much magic to Lavinia she watched her curiously. As she got this and that and began preparing the meal. It was kind of funny to Lavinia, Kitty was a healer of the body as a cleric and with her well prepared food could heal the mind as well. "You really are a great cook..." she said as she watched Kitty work her magic cooking the chicken, wash off the strawberries and lettuce. This is when Lavinia got another craving for the strawberries and much to her surprise Kitty was handing her five of them. She looked over at Kitty surprised and then her words made her blush a little. "Oh, you did." she said smiling and then taking a small bite from one. "I may not be that great of a cook, but my favorite part is you get to sample the ingredients as you cook. Like 'sampling' the cheese before you put it on the pizza your preparing." she says smiling, thinking back to the relatively recent memories of her and mike making pizza for dinner one night back in the real world. Ame shurgged her shoulders at Lavinia's hmming. She didn't want to explain it right now, but perhaps once she knew no one could hear them, she would explain her life to Lavinia a bit. She shook her head as she asked about Lynn's daughter. "No, I haven't, apparently she doesn't come here. I feel sad for Lynn, she is such a kind woman, yet she is the one who must travel. You would think it would be the children who go to see their parents in their elderly state, but I suppose some people just get caught up in their own lives sometimes." With her next question, she shook her head and giggled lightly. "You would think that wouldn't you? No, apparently she is a collector. All of these things came from a village in Sarum called Moon Dance village. I spent a few nights there myself, very beautiful place." She thought back to her adventures there with a smile. It was so peaceful, and she had loved the orient in it. She herself was from Japan, so when she found this home, Lynn's home, she felt as though she herself was home. It made her feel happy that they had things of orient in Londinium.
She continued mashing the strawberries, getting them to a fine, liquid consistency. She stopped and the took the olive oil, pouring some in. She found herself blushing at Lavinia's comment and let out a soft, "thank you." She then added the mixed spices into the mixture and took the whisk, mixing it all together. She giggled again at Lavinia's words and nodded. "Yes, I do love that as well! I used to cook a lot back home," she looked down into the mixture, her eyes flashing with a bit of sadness, then she looked up. "When I was a baby, I was left at an orphanage by my mother. Apparently she, couldn't stand the sight of me. I never understood why a mother would think that about her child, but, apparently mine did. My father left her or something, that's what the nurses told me." She continued to mix the sauce, and flip the chicken. "They had made me feel worthless, but when I was about 9 or so, I was adopted by an amazing family. I finally had a mom and dad and they had too children who accepted me as their sister, an older brother and a younger sister. It was amazing. My mom, she taught me how to cook. She is really good so I guess I had a great teacher." She looked up smiling, but she could feel herself holding back tears. She stopped mixing the dressing, and got up to grab the lettuce. Grabbing the largest cutting board, she set it down, and grabbed a straight knife.
As she chopped off the end she continued her story. "I never had grand parents when I was a kid. My mom and dad, their parents are still alive, but they hate that fact that they adopted me and they stopped coming around after a while. I wish they could accept me, but, some people just won't, and I have to accept that. It really doesn't make it an easier." She let out a soft sigh as she cut the lettuce into nice square sizes and threw them into the large bowl. She turned, and took the now cooked chicken off of the heat. She blew out the flame and flipped them a few more times. She looked up to Lavinia at this point and tilted her head to the side with a smile. "I'm sorry, I find it extremely easy to talk to you." She let out a laugh and put her hand to the back of her head. She felt awkward for just going off on poor Lavinia like that, but, she shook her head soon after and got up, bringing the dishes that were no longer in use, over to the sink. Then she grabbed the feta and placed it on the lettuce cutting board. She cut it into nice square chunks and set it aside. She grabbed four plates and set them down on the table, after wiping up any mess she had made. She liked to keep it clean as she worked.
First, she laid the lettuce down in the middle of each plate, then, she took the slightly cooled down chicken and placed it on top of the lettuce. With both hands, she grabbed a handful of the cheese and let it crumble out of her hand onto the plate. Next, she put the strawberries on and grabbed two spoons. She took some of the sauce in each spoon and handed one to Lavinia. "Try it." She said with a smile and then put her own spoon in her mouth. She sighed with satisfaction and finished off the dish by letting the dressing flow over the top of everything. She smiled widely, putting her index and middle finger against her thumb and kissing the tips, she then finished it off with a "Voila, piece de la resistance!" She laughed quite loudly and then shook her head. Sometimes she really did think she was crazy. "I figured I'd make you some extra's, in case you were in the mood for them again. But, I'm eating one!" She giggled again and gifted the remaining two to Lavinia, then, she cleared the table, grabbed forks and napkins and sat down to eat the salad.

Lavinia understood what Kitty meant when she shrugged at her question, it was just one of those things you didn't press to get an answer for. Kitty was right, you would assume the children would come to see the parents as they grew old. This was a common practice in the real world or so Lavinia heard "What a pity, no excuse me, its strange." she said correcting her rude comment. Lavinia made the mistake of judging Lynn's daughter to soon and chalked the situation up to lazy on the daughters half at first but each family is different. As Kitty spoke of her adventures in Moon Dance village a sly smirk grew on Lavinia's face before she spoke "And you didn't invite me? Sounds like a wonderful place." she asks jokingly and then with curiosity at this new place. Lavinia tilted her head to the side ever so slightly her face filled with curiosity, concern and alarm as Kitty's eyes reflects what her own were just a few moments ago. As she listened Lavinia felt a feeling of rage spark inside her as Kitty told her a bit about her childhood. The feeling was intense, just like it used to be and it probably even registered in her eyes, all she wanted to do was hit something to quell this feeling inside. As Kitty finished she apologized and found it easy to talk to Lavinia, this would be enough for Lavinia to subdue the feeling and brought a smile to her face. "Oh, I don't mind at all. It gives me something to think about and a little more insight into who you are." she said smiling any evidence of the anger erased from her face. "Should I tell her? Maybe a bit." she thought rattling the thought around her brain. As Kitty continued to prepare the meal Lavinia inhaled and then exhaled a long uneasy breath. She always found it hard to talk to anyone about her past, even her foster family that she has become greatly attached to. "At least you are not the only orphan..." she said quietly and softly as she stares at a single spot on the floor. That is all she could say without further probing from Kitty, she really didn't want to relive her past unless Kitty wanted to know about it. As Kitty brought the plates over Lavinia's stomach growled rather loudly which made Lavinia blush considerably. "I guess I really am hungry." she said laughing totally embarrassed, she remembered some saying about loud stomachs but couldn't remember so she just let the thought go. Handing Lavinia a spoon Kitty instructed Lavinia to try the sauce, so she took it and popped the spoon and all in her mouth. The sauce was, amazing and it showed on Lavinia's face, which isn't surprising since Kitty made it. "The sauce is amazing, though I'm not surprised, since you made it." she said smiling as she waited for the rest of the meal. Waiting for Kitty to sit down to start eating she smiles curiously as Kitty mimics those french chefs or whoever did that thing with their index finger and thumbs. "What does that meal anyway?" she asks curiously, she never actually heard of what it actually means. "What? You didn't have to make me extra.. Thank you." she says grateful for the meal and the extras so at least she'll have something better than what they serve at the inn for a day or two. Word Count: 582 Tagged: kittygrey

Ame nodded. She too, found it strange. When she was first adopted, she had bugged her new parents to bring her to meet her new grandparents, but after she had, she regretted it. The both had ignored her the whole time, even when she had thanked them for letting her into their family. The turned their noses up and a fight started between them. Her parents, versus their parents, it wasn't a pretty sight, one that she had had a hard time ridding herself of, and still found the memory leaking it's way into her head. She shook her head, which Lavinia might have meant was towards her. She looked at her and shrugged. "It was kind of a last minute thing, I literally ran there to meet a team of other adventures, and honestly almost missed them." She sighed, her mind shifting back to Moon Dance Village. "We should go there sometime together. The village reminded me of home." She smiled lightly.
As Ame spoke about her past, she saw Lavinia's eyes reach a point of rage, one that hurt her to look at. She didn't want to make Lavinia feel upset, but as she spoke, she noticed a smile. She almost wanted to ask why she had been angry, but she figured she should leave it alone. She nodded to her words, happy to see that Lavinia had gained some knowledge over the reason she was the way she was, though she still had yet to know her most horrific stories, her real life 'friends' and her one and only, wouldn't even call it what it was supposed to be, relationship. But she wouldn't jump into it. As Lavinia said that she wasn't the only orphan, she looked at her. Sadness would quell in her eyes and she wanted desperately to know her story as well. She hoped that her past hadn't be so rough, though Orphans, she found, usually had harder pasts than others did. "I understand if you don't want to talk about your past, but, one day I hope that you feel that you can let your pain out on me." Maybe that had been a strange way to put it, but that's how she had felt, unloading her own pain on Lavinia. "Please know that I will never force you, or even ask you to tell me, but know that I am here for you and should you ever want to talk about it, my ear's are always open to listening." With mention to them, they twitched, something she had found odd, but gave it no more thought.
She giggled lightly as Lavinia's stomach growled, getting them off of such a depressing chat. She smiled widely at Lavinia's response to her home made dressing. She clapped her hands together excitedly and said, in a soft tone, "thank you." She bowed her head to her slightly and then tilted her head. "Oh, it means, there you are, and outstanding meal!" She had learned the quote from a French chef at a restaurant her family used to go to all the time, and that's what he had told her when she, herself had asked, years ago now. Her grin was from ear to ear, but she felt her cheeks flush as she heard her next words. She shook her head. "With the amount of ingredients, I knew there would be extra's, so please, enjoy! Also, thank you. I'm glad we got to spend some time together, just you and I. You really have an old soul, Lavinia, and please, don't take that the wrong way, it's actually a very good thing. If you didn't, I don't think I would have had any chance with coming to terms with my feelings, so, really, it was the least I could do for you." She smiled, her voice calm, soft and genuine all at the same time, it was her adult voice, one she used when speaking to other adults. Though still petite, she would no longer view Lavinia as a child, not that she had ever really viewed her in that way to begin with, but, you know what I mean!

"Sounds like a plan." she says smiling, she wouldn't mind going to a village like that some day. She wonders what the village is like, although her imagination would probably be totally off given the little amount of information she has about it. She imagined a normal English village with great views at night because of the moon light. Obviously dancing would then ensue. Lavinia looked at Kitty as she explained that she was there to listen about things she needed to let out, she gave her a half hearted smile and shrugged her shoulders. "I guess it's only fair, if I tell you a bit about me." she said as she looked away from Kitty and focused on some single point in the room. She looked at the single point intensely, not blinking just breathing slowly as she seems like shes off in another world, again. She sighs heavily as she prepares to speak "Well, I'm an orphan, I like said. But unlike you I don't have parents or not anymore. They were murdered when I was little..." she says crossing her arms over her chest hugging herself tightly. She takes a deep breath and continues "It happened in front of me, the memory of it isn't all that clear either. Its just... fuzzy slide show like images. I..." she says pausing placing her hand just to the right of her belly button. "I'm told I shouldn't have survived..." she says as she reaches down and holds her hand over the spot where the scar would. "The bullet didn't pass through so I almost bled to death before someone arrived and saved me. The scar isn't on my body in this world, its one of the few differences between myself in this world and the real one." she looked at Kitty, almost expectantly, but not expecting anything. She would wait to see if Kitty had something to say before continuing. The growling in her stomach intensified as she looked down at the delicious salad in front of her. The phrase old soul isn't one Lavinia was exactly familiar with "No worries, but old soul?" she asked smiling as she stuffed a small fork of the meal into her mouth. It was very good, a salad made with strawberries, best meal idea ever, or so she thought. Fork still in mouth she smiled at Kitty indicating it was good as she forked more and ate some more. After she chewed that bite. "Its very good." she says smiling before stuffing another fork full into her mouth. Before she knew it her plate was almost half gone, she hoped Kitty was at least half way done too or she would be embarrassed. "Sorry, I guess I was really hungry." she says giggling foolishly. Ame listened closely, paying attention to the look in Lavinia's eyes as she stared intensely at a random spot. Her eyes lowered to Lavinia's stomach as she noticed her hand move and wide eyes struck her face with shock as Lavinia told her of her own past. She was grateful that she had told her, not because of her morbid nature, but it showed her that she trusted her, which was always a thing she liked to have with her friends, though in the real world, it wouldn't have been so, not with the ones she had chosen before entering this world. She let out a small sigh of sadness as she was told her story. Lavinia had been the witness to her parents death, and she felt her own stomach begin to hurt as she spoke of a scar and it being one of the only differences between her real life and her new one. She lowered her eyes to the plate and felt her shoulders lower as well. The once frantically waving tail was now lowered to the floor, unmoving. She knew that nothing was her fault, but she looked back up to Lavinia and very quietly said, "I'm so sorry." It was a hard thing to hear, coming from such a sweet girl's mouth, that she had had such a horrible thing happen to her. She couldn't remember anything from the time her own father had passed, or even when her mother had dropped her off at the orphanage, she wondered if it had been pressed away in the back of her mind, a wanting to forget such an incident. Now, as she listened to Lavinia, she hoped one day she could remember what had happened to her father and why he had died, but it was something she didn't know if she even could remember.
As she watched Lavinia pick up the fork, she did as well, shoveling fork fulls of the salad into her mouth. She hadn't realized how hungry she had been. She nodded and then held the fork away from her mouth. "Well, in my culture, we believe in reincarnation. Basically, when you die, you are reborn as something, or someone else." She didn't know where Lavinia was from, so she thought it best to explain that before explaining what she truly meant by the term, 'old soul.' "An old soul is a seemingly spiritual person, one who, though you wouldn't remember, has learned things from their past lives and taken them into their new ones. It just means that you are wise beyond your years and basically have more of an understanding of the world around you, though your past," she trailed off for a moment, finding herself also staring at a random spot in the room. "Your past, though horrible, is probably the reason that you have a different aspect on the world. I hope I don't offend you in saying any of this, but you seem to have more wisdom than most people, including myself." She giggled at that. It wasn't that she was unintelligent, but she did see Lavinia as a very smart person, with an outlook unlike that which she had seen before. She picked up her fork again and began to eat again. She shook her head and let out another small giggle. "Please, don't apologize! I'm really happy you like it! I'm glad to be able to share the food I make with others! It makes me happy to see them enjoy it." She smiled, continuing to eat. Before she knew it, her plate was empty and her stomach full. "I hope it was enough!"

Lavinia shrugged as Kitty apologized for what she assumed was her past. Lavinia didn't want peoples pitty, or their simpathy for what has happened to her. She didn't think it was really all that important. It was just one of the many things that shaped who she is today. "Lets get off this depressing subject." she said giving Kitty a smile. It wasn't that Lavinia didn't want to talk about her past, it was all about how she didn't want it to ruin the meal. Reincarnation, Lavinia knew what this was, who didn't at least hear of it in this day and age. "So, your from Japan or some where out in the eastern part of the world? I'm from America by the way." she asked curiously with a smile to match. Whether she was an 'old soul' or not Lavinia wasn't sure. If Kitty was right she wouldn't know if she was anyway. Lavinia shrugged "I'm not really the religious type, at least not anymore. So I don't know about being this 'old soul' you say I am." she said letting the concept rattle around her brain. Kitty was probably right, her past has shaped the way she looks at the world, but that is the case for everyone. "The way our personality is shaped and molded is decided on our memories and experiences. So I really can't disagree with my past shaping how I look at the world. I just view things as how they are I guess. Not sure why, I've never actually looked into this sort of thing so I'm just free wheeling." she says reflecting on the discussion. Taking another fork full, she thought about the dicussion. She wondered why she thought of the world as a beatiful yet cruel place, where the strong devour the weak. It was undeniable to anyone who could see. Adventures kill anything they can for gold, resources or just for fun, while nothing can really stop them. If something was to strong, they would come back after regrouping with a vengence and eventually win. That was the nature of the world, she wondered if she could change it. By now she was on her last fork full of salad. As she scooped up the remaining bits and ate them she smiled at Kitty. "It was plenty, I'm stuffed. Thank you." she says smiling. Then out of no where Lavinia managed to stiffle a burp. Her cheeks turned red with embarrassment, "Excuse me! I guess there is your proof at how good it is." she says quickly hopfully covering up the rudeness of such a thing. Standing she grabs her plate and looks for a sink to wash the dishes. Ame nodded to Lavinia in full agreement as she told her that they should get off of the subject. It was always a bad thing to do to ruin an appetite with such a depressing topic, though she would admit to wanting to hear more about her life if asked. She felt friendly with her, and wanted to get to know her more and she wanted Lavinia to know her more as well. She felt connected to her more so than anyone else in this world. Perhaps their relationship was what actual best friends were like, though she felt like they were becoming more like sisters. She wondered if Lavinia had been adopted back home, and if she hadn't, maybe her adopted parents would take her in. At some point, she made a mental note, she would ask, though this wasn't the place.
She stuffed her face almost as quickly as Lavinia had, shoveling the food in her mouth. It had been an amazing idea to add strawberries to the salad, as she was trying to figure it out. Lavinia had wanted them, but she didn't want something too sweet. She was thinking perhaps a strawberry shortcake, and though good, they were somewhat over rated in her mind. She didn't know where she had learned it, but she remembered having a salad with cranberries on it somewhere, so she had figured why not. She looked at Lavinia with wide eyes as she spoke about her being from Japan or some eastern part of the world. She let her smile become wide as it reached across her face. "Yes, actually. I am from Japan, Kyoto Japan actually. And you said America right, where abouts? If it's okay too ask." She was always unsure what people's reactions would be when she asked, as she had no personal problem answering, she was sure that some people did, though so far, she hadn't met anyone would had a problem, not that she asked a large amount of people. She was happy to know that Lavinia knew about her homeland, but she wasn't sure of whether she would know of hers. America had been taught in schools, but it was mainly only about the different zones and states and what not, nothing very in depth. She hoped it was somewhere she knew about so that she could relate to her, but she hadn't learned much about inner towns and what not.
Ame nodded at her next words as well. Though it wasn't something to really smile about, she found herself smiling. It was because the points Lavinia had made, and the way she had spoken, just proved further that she had an old soul, as Ame had told her, though she wouldn't bring the subject back up. "I wouldn't say I'm religious, but I am a very spiritual person. What you said, is all true. The way you are brought up and the experiences you have, they shape you and mold you into who you are. So, you are completely correct!" She let her smile grow wider, but as Lavinia let out a burp, she found her smile turn into a loud laugh. "Thank you for the compliment!" When she watched Lavinia get up to bring her dish, she followed and grabbed hers on the way as she too, had finished. "Don't worry about the dishes, I'll take care of it." She found her eyes glance over to the window, seeing the darkness become more apparent outside. "Not that I want to end our chill out time, but it is getting rather dark and I think I am ready for bed after that meal. Come, I'll show you out." She smiled and put her hand on Lavinia's back, then walked to the door. She opened it and bowed low to the young summoner. "Thank you so much for the mana potions, as well as the talk we had. I've decided what I will do. We should definitely do this again though! It was really fun!" She smiled widely and would stay by the door, waving, as Lavinia walked away. - Words -684- Tags -Lavinia- Skills Used ----- Notes ---- Coded By Saber of L33T T3@M Modified by KittyGrey

| Strawberries in salad? Best idea ever!
Lavinia was curious about where Kitty lived, but that was nothing knew for her. It was interesting, her curiosity, the hunger for knowledge was something she could never subdue. The location Kitty said, Kyoto Japan, was familiar to her, the name at least. She always assumed the cities of Japan was pretty much the same no matter which part of it you were in. You've seen one part, you've seen it all sort of deal. "I've heard the name, but know little about it." like Kitty they were taught bits and pieces about Japan in school. Mostly in history classes when they were being taught about World War II. This meant her knowledge of the country was limited, now that she knew that was where Kitty was from that would have to change. But it would have to wait for another day. "I don't mind at all. I'm from a state called Illinois, more specifically the city of Chicago." she says, while not originally from Illinois, in fact she was born in a state called Texas. But over the years she's drifted from family to family and wound up living where she does now. This might be seem odd, living in Chicago, since she doesn't speak with the accent of someone who would be from such a place. However to people who know about the regional accents of Americans would suspect that might not be where she was born and raised. Even though its true Lavinia has worked hard to rid herself of any such accent from any place. The city is also a natural fit for her love of music with a very active nightlife centralized around dance clubs and other similar establishments, which Lavinia couldn't wait to go to when she was old enough.
Ignoring Kitty telling her to not worry about the dishes Lavina goes to the sink and washes hers anyway. "The cook doesn't clean where I'm from." she says placing her dishes on a rack to dry after washing them. That's when Kitty mentioned its getting late, it was. This was unfortunate, Lavinia was having fun just relaxing with Kitty, walking to the door where Kitty was now bowing, the act made Lavinia smile. "Please such Etiquette isn't necessary with me. But yeah, your right. Next time you'll have to tell me about this spiritual mumbo jumbo, it seems interesting." she says taking a step outside the door. "No problem at all. Maybe next time I'll request a meal that is a bit more challenging, I'm curious just how good of a cook you are." she says smiling, waving her hand goodbye and turns and walks away. As she walked she wondered if she should have given Kitty a hug good bye "maybe next time.
