The expedition was just around the corner, Lavina and her friends planned to take a trip to the underground railway. Wanting to be prepared as possible Lavinia remembered reading about a potion in her book that would allow the user to see in the dark. This kind of potion sounded incredibly useful in the type of environment they'll be adventuring in, even if they don't need them she'd find a use eventually, or just sell them. As she pushed open the door to the pharmacy shop where she's done the majority of the crafting thus far "This place never changes." she thinks as she greets the shopkeeper and heads straight to the back of the shop. Walking to the work bench Lavinia takes her book from her inventory and opens it setting it down near where she'll be working. Glancing over the recipe assembling a list of materials in her head, she reads she'll need two solvents and a herb called Cat's Eye. She then snatches twelve bottles of solvent off the table and looks for the herb. Unable to find it where she thought it would be "Where's the Cats eye?" she calls out to the shopkeeper. His response took Lavinia by surprise "The herb is second row third drawer down, the eye is in a jar, top shelf." he said, she thought they wouldn't use actual cats eyes in their work, she didn't want to know what they were used for so she didn't ask. Opening the third drawer down Lavinia finds a small box labeled Cats Eye and takes six decent size cuts of the herb and places it in the work bench.
"Okay, what's next" Lavinia says softly as she turns to her book and begins to read the next section of the potions recipe. The book said the herbs must be chopped finely, so Lavinia retrieved a large chopping knife from a drawer. The knife isn't much different than one someone would use to cut up a head of lettuce. As she cut up the herbs into six even piles her thoughts wandered to what will behold her and her friends in the railway. She thought about giant rock golems, summoned by some foul magic. Giant rats that skittered around the underground railway. She thought about many other possibilities that would probably not actually happen, the thoughts excited her though.

| Yeah, Peprecalie...
Next she scooped up each pile of chopped herbs onto a flat sheet of metal, not unlike the similar version used in cooking and then placed them each into their own glass container. After arranging each of the six containers into a neat line on the table Lavinia pours a bottle of solvent into each. The book explained that the herbs would need to break down and boiled off, this is so all you have left is a very fine powder pure cateye. "Should take about twenty minutes..." Lavinia says placing two on a large hot plate. She thought that this would be a decent time to work out the details for a item she wanted to create. Reaching down to her bag she takes out a notebook and a writing utensil, flipping to a empty page she writes "An apple A Day", pretty bad when it comes to names but it's a start. Next she flips open her book of herbs and flips through the pages until she finds what he's looking for. "Peprecalie" was in big letters at the top of the page, studies have proven that this herb could stabilize the mana flow of the environment around it if prepared correctly. This herb would be key to what Lavinia had in mind, she wanted to see if it was possible to create a potion to extend the dissipation of a dead adventurer. This potion would have several uses, like buying time for a healer to revive them, or prevent someone from respawning for a bit. First it would require working out proportions for the various ingredients. As Lavinia wrote down math formulas for possible proportions she scribbled some out that wouldn't work. After she came up with a set of numbers that wouldn't kill someone the next step is finding how to stabilize the adventure's so it doesn't dissipate. If the mind were to stay and the body did not, it could be a disaster. As before more formulas, that's when Lavinia noticed the first toe containers have boiled off. Grabbing an cloth glove she quickly slides it on her hand and snatches them off the hotplate. Tossing the glove aside for now she carefully sets two more containers on the hotplate and goes back to her notebook. As Lavinia tried, scrapped and tried out formulas like before she thought of a possible problem. It may be an issue taking this type of potion orally. The adventure may be unable to swallow or drink it. "This might be a real problem..." she thought as she sat there stumped.

| Stir, stir, stir, stir
Lavinia sat there stumped fuming trying to find a solution for so long that in no time the two containers were boiled off. Grabbing the cloth glove from before she slips it on and carefully scoops the two off the hotplate and adds the last two to boil off. As the last set of containers is set to boil Lavinia looks over at the book for the final step. Flipping back to the recipe in her book she reads that the remaining material must be placed in another solvent and mixed thoroughly. So Lavinia collects the 4 containers and carefully pours one bottle of solvent into them. As she stirs the first with a glass utensil she fetched from a drawer Lavinia mind starts to drift off. She wonders about the underground event shes making these potions for and how her class isn't what she expected. While a cool class, Summoner isn't what she expected, she was hoping for something a bit more active in fights, and right now her summons were doing the majority of the work. But was there a way for adventures to switch their main class? Lavinia would have to find out after the gang was done down in the tunnels. But what class would she pick? She heard rumors of the discovery of new classes, discovered by the adventures. Would she pick a new one or one of the already existing classes, only time will tell. As her thoughts continued to drift she finshed stiring the forth container, the last two were finally done. Taking them off the hot plate with the glove from before, almost exactly like before. stir, stir, stir stir, stir, went through her mind as Lavinia stirred the fifth container. Such mind numbingly boring work, they need a machine for this. She wondered if she could, what class she would switch to. Maybe enchanter? She asked herself, the support features of the class would be nice. She didn't really know, Lavinia would have to put some thought into this. Fifth down, one to go she thought as she started the next one. "stir, stir, stir, stir, I wonder what the new classes are like, stir, stir, stir." ran through in her head, this really was boring for the young Pharmacist. Done! The last portion of this craft was boring Lavinia to tears, fetching 6 vials from a drawer Lavinia slowly fills each one from the containers. Still cork-less, she takes a small bottle from a shelf, grape flavoring and adds a drop to each of the 6 potions. Swiftly placing the corks in their bottles, Lavinia scoops all six potions up and places them in her inventory. Walking to the front of the story Lavinia smiles at the shopkeeper who has been happily letting Lavinia use his store for her crafting needs. Placing a handful of gold on the table she nods at the shopkeeper and heads out of the shop headed for the location the group planned to meet up at.
