half-alv, sorcerer.
For once, the quiet green-haired was finally somewhere other than the cathedral or the fields, in her left hand a key to an inn room instead (the cheapest she could find). She had done enough fooling around, or so she believed, thus the new goal of spending the day away trying to make something.
A walk to the library had wounded up with her stumbling upon a book full of recipes for crafting, how to do it, the ingredients needed – they were all written in there and Vrayne knew that this could prove useful to her the moment she turned to a page about how to craft Parchment Paper, Basic Contract and what not and in a moment of excitement, she checked the book out and headed off to buy the ingredients listed for the items she’d like to make, which all now lied on the bed of her room ready to be used.
Vrayne isn’t quite sure if she would be able to do this correctly though. As she what she always stressed whenever someone would question about her lack of skills in playing Elder Tale, she wasn’t at all a long-time gamer of MMORPGs and all she is a master of is aiming gun and pulling triggers. No. Vrayne growled, bringing her hands up to slap herself on the cheeks twice, to wake herself up and pull herself out of her trance and to finally get started with this. She unzipped the zipper of her purple hoodie and threw it off at the unoccupied spot of the bed, the sleeves of her red jacket now rolled up to her elbows and hair securely tied up in a ponytail.
It was time to start.
❝Let’s see… Three old paper needed.❞ She held the book with her left hand as she gathered the papers with her other, giving a glance at the book again once she had made sure that she got three as written. Pulling out the deep, rectangular tray she had borrowed from the front desk (her being a courtesan was finally put into good use, managing to smoothly talk the manager about letting her use it for “research”, as how she put it), she placed the book down on the wooden table in the middle of her room, walking inside the bathroom after to fill the tray up with water and soak the papers with it. Once soaked enough, she does the rest of the instructions until all that was left to do was to wait for it to dry up, Vrayne’s green-eyes slightly wider than usual in surprise as she stared at the item before her and – she’s done it. A goofy grin grew on her face, something she definitely wouldn’t ever wear in front of someone else.
She did it.
