Let us End this By our own actions It was something.. almost eerily similar. She looked at the area, struck with how it resembled her home, her town. But she kept herself quiet, and breathed easily, walking amongst the streets. So many things that she had no idea how to use, what to do. It was her first time playing a game such as this; but even she knew that something must have gone wrong, due to how she wasn't sitting and watching a screen, but instead straight in the middle of everything. The blonde hadn't spoken, or been stopped by anyone for a while now, just making circles, and circles, as if afraid to wander away from the starting point she had been given. It was almost frightening, as she found herself truly alone in this world, frustration in her green eyes, but otherwise muted. The girl stopped, and took in a breath. So far, she understood the basic story premises of the game; and yet, she had no idea what exactly there was to do. This was entirely confusing, as the girl just tilted her head this way and that, trying to understand heads and tails of this entire actually being in the game thing. But with an annoyed click of the tongue, she found herself moving again. Pacing was perhaps a habit, but what she wanted to do the most, was swing her weapon around. For she had gotten one, sure, a sword even, and it fit her class. Although they had been promised their own server, they had not been provided classes that fight their lore specifically; but Besavel found that the ideal of a Samurai fit her best. She had preformed just a bit of research, before she finished creating her character, just to be sure. She had to be quite thorough when it involved her beloved blades. Surprisingly, she had not picked a blacksmith component; it was not the creation that Besavel wanted, but rather the use. So someone that worked with wood, using blades to whittle at it, to shape it, was much more elegant, and much more fitting to her. The girl touched the hilt of the claymore, feeling it like a good, safe weapon. She had seen a fight in the first day, and watched some people die, only for them to be walking later.. so death was of no consequence here. Along with fighting in towns prohibited. Generally, this meant a pretty free system for wandering, not that Besavel would even be aware of this. Rather, the blonde was getting frustrated, and stopped once more, looking around her. Different races, different people.. and here she was, wandering around in circles like a dumb thing, trying to find her way in a type of game, that wasn't really a game, that she had no idea how to play even normally. It was quite difficult for her to put herself in a part, or even in anything.. the girl would instead, maybe try to dedicate herself to finding something? She had no clue. What she wanted the most, was for someone to come in front of her pacing self, and tell her a direction, or some piece of information, or something. She was quite horrid at interactions with others for the most part, and as such would not burden others with her foolish self. And thus, the waiting game of someone wanting to speak to the clearly agitated Samurai would continue, until someone spoke to her. Or an accident happened, such as falling into someone; whichever first, probably. Okami wasn't an individual to fret over the small stuff. She was, by nature, curious and spontaneous. The kind of person that didn't quite go with flow, but more piggie-backed atop it with maddening glee. So while Alana the twenty nine year old secretary was both confused and horrified by the situation she was now in, Okami was cheerfully skipping her way through the cries of terror and loud sobbing. Of course, being the ever helpful Fox-Tail she was, the pink-headed sorcerer tried to cheer up the players around her. Some of them gave her a bitter smile, others glared at her inability to recognize the horrible situation they were in. Okami simply met their responses head on with a smile.
So when her when she ran across her next fearful player, an...elf, she thought, pacing back and forth, lost in her own thoughts, Okami smiled mischievously. Oh it wasn't just enough for her to simply walk up to her future victim. No sir, this was the insane Fox-tail her-self, if she was going to do this she'd do it with some fun. With all the skill and mastery owned by a jittery fox-tail with more energy than she knew what to do with, Okami decided to stealth her way up to the samurai.
"Sneak sneak sneak."
Which she was absolutely terrible at, of course. But the poor elf was so caught up in her own thoughts that the fox-tails rather failed attempt to catch her off guard was, well, working apparently. Unless she was trying to trick Okami? That would be terrible. But regardless of the potential concerns, she continued her pursuit of her intended target.
And so appearing like magic (not really) next to the woman, balancing on one foot and jamming her face side-ways into the elf's vision, Okami grinned at her. "Hi!" She started, "I'm Okami! You look like you're in a bit of trouble!" Which was putting it lightly but, well, Okami was seemingly treating this entire situation lightly.

Let us End this By our own actions Surprise. The game didn't have to be kept waiting entirely too long; the girl was surprised by a figure suddenly in her vision. The blonde haired elf stopped and took two steps back, but mostly to avoid swinging at the girl out of surprise. With a blink, the green eyes focused on the figure, trying to assimilate what had been said. Firstly, the one before her had pink hair, which was remarkably bright to the blonde, and unusual; she had not seen many of the colours in this world yet, and was relatively unaware that pink hair was.. normal for anybody in the game. The unused player opened her mouth a moment, and then closed it, trying to think, as her attention was then drawn by the fox tail. It looked quite big and fluffy, and almost childishly, there was an impulse to grab it and pet it, and squeeze it. But Besavel repulsed that feeling, as she breathed out, finally realizing she had let a silence build up. ''Greetings.'' she answered finally. The girl had been so focused on observing the new person, she had completely forgotten to respond. After a few more moments of silence on her part, she then cleared her throat. ''My name is Besavel. I am indeed in a large amount of trouble. How could you tell?'' she asked. Unaware of how oblivious her question was, the woman felt calm in her heart of hearts. The game that had begun had now ebbed, and revealed to her a new player. Thus in a way, it meant that her path could now move forward, which is what had been worrying the elven samurai to some extent. After all, she couldn't find her friends, she had no idea what's going on with the game, since she was sure it wasn't a virtual reality or something, she just.. was so entirely lost. Lost to the point that Cordelia herself seemed to leak through sometimes, as she fretted. But the figure in front of her.. a fox-tail if she remembered the screen right, was smiling, content in this world. So it couldn't be that bad.. perhaps even, this one, if not frightened by the blunt and nearly rude questions and words she had spoken, would be able to help? Part of Besavel desperately hoped for it. She was alone in a world she didn't understand; so clinging to the first of kindness was something that many probably did. And some probably shoved the reality away; but Besavel just needed a reassurance of her morals, of her standing, of herself. Once that was done, she could guide; the wavering of her self-confidence was perhaps the crucial point. She was definitely curious about what happened, but she had.. to understand something else first. The importance of how to conduct herself, and perhaps understanding the systems. Realizing she had lost herself in thought, she breathed out again. ''If.. it's not a bother.. could you help me? Learn.. how to function here.'' she asked softly, her voice almost a whisper. She didn't want to impose. But she had to ask for help. [/b] Okami• Words; 0522 • Music; Karma :: Kokia • Notes; Yup, I gave her perm for the previous post. A bright smile, "Simple! You've been going in circles for awhile now." She twirled on her toes, fluffy tail trailing all the way. Then with a flick of her ears, the sorcerer had assumed an over-dramatic example of the elf's contemplation. Back hunched over, one arm behind her, the other placed on her chin, Okami let out a 'hmm hmm' as she walked around in a circle. Thinking her point being made, the Fox-tail twirled her way out of the gloomy thinking form and offered the elf a cheeky grin.
Getting a better look at the elf, she was a beautiful thing. Blond haired and bright green eyes, though a bit petite for some tastes she imagined. Her smile, Okami imagined with a face like hers, must look fairly pretty. So obviously, the sorcerer should make it her goal to bring some sunshine back into the samurai so she could see it. It'd be like a service to the community, even!
So when the elf asked for help, in a frightened whisper, Okami grinned. "Why of course I would love too~" Taking a step back, one arm extended out and another placed on her ab, Okami took a dramatic bow. "Okami, master sorcerer, classy alchemist, greatest housekeeper, and most important of all the queen of fluff is at your service~."
Releasing her-self from her manners, Okami bounced over to the samurai and took hold of the woman's arm. "Okay, okay, so lets be on our way~" She said, starting to drag the elf off towards the town. "There's so many things to learn about the game!"

"Hmm....?" As Kris was strolling along the streets as per normal, he noticed a slight commotion ahead of him. As usual, his pink haired, Fox Tailed Sorcerer pal was right in the middle of it. This time, it involved a pretty blonde elf that was practically giving off the "I'm totally lost" vibe. Figuring that it was a good chance to form relationships with the other players while he could, he walked with steady footsteps toward the duo. He could not help but overhear the blonde elf's request for help... on how to function in Elder Tales. Kris was stunned. He thought that most players would have figured out at least how open their menu and access their «Dazanegg's Magic Bag», as well as their skill set and stuff. But judging from the parched lips of the blonde elf upon closer inspection, it would be quite accurate to say that she hadn't even took out the free water bottle stored in her «Dazanegg's Magic Bag» yet.
"Hey there, Okami. You're gonna scare her off," Kris started off with a friendly joke, then swiftly manipulated his menu and took out a water bottle and a sandwich from his own «Dazanegg's Magic Bag». "Looking at you, you probably haven't drunk anything for quite a while huh? Are you hungry? Our bodies need to be maintained in this world as well, surprisingly. Though the food bought in this world is tasteless, so don't expect too much..." Kris trailed off, unsure if the blonde elf would accept his offer of food and drinks, as well as his friendship.

Let us End this By our own actions The fox-tail didn't seem bothered by the length of time that it took the girl to answer. That was a relief of it's own, as the Samurai felt something ease in her chest. Like something was lighter. She had noted the girl's theatrical imitation, and part of her wanted to laugh. However, that feeling was hard to communicate for the girl, as she just let her eyes observe, and absorb the girl in front of her, like a story book. It was proof that this one had her undivided attention, and that was the focus that Besavel held towards anything. In fact, it was almost intense to some, but the blonde elf hadn't realized how intent her stare could be, particularly when others were not ready for it. The elf heard a positive answer to her first question, hence the demonstration, but the question she had feared had also been answered rapidly. It was like this person was just waiting to help, almost throwing herself at anyone that felt.. well as Besavel did probably. In fact, the reaction was more then positive, it was almost jubliant, as the elf felt her chest relax. And just maybe, there was a smile waiting to be curled at the tips of her lips, as the pinkette did a sweeping bow. Indeed, Besavel would like to laugh, but just found it impossible to get out. She always felt locked in like this sometimes. The other bounced over and just took her arm as if it was completely natural. Of course Besavel wanted to reach over and touch the tail that was oh so close, but the girl restrained herself. The girl was surprised when yet another came over; usually people, in real life or any sort of voice chat, stayed away from the icy blonde, and as such people freely walking up to her.. was highly unusual. She was thankful, but it was unusual. Although, it was clear after a few words, the male's intentions; he was friends with the aforementioned fox tail, whom's name was Okami. The girl was unsure if she should lend credence to the male, and as such observed him. He had black hair that was of a good length, and brown eyes were peering out at her. She didn't seem to think he was a bad person, as he offered her water and food. The woman shifted her body, suddenly standing straight where her position had been slumped, and that changed a whole lot about her presence. Suddenly, she was a strong, dependable presence, almost pure in nature as she offered a smile to the male. For a moment, she just smiled, and then she realized exactly what he wanted her to do. She hesitated once more, but the growling of her stomach, and the light soreness of her throat told her she needed to. With an internal sigh, she softly disengaged herself from the grip of the fox tail, and took the items. ''..... Thank you.'' she had said, taking a sharp breath as if she were to speak initially. She almost didn't but she remembered the words that people said in such situations. The girl was careful and slow about consuming the drink and food, finding her hunger heavy, but easily sated with temperance and patience. Once done, she nodded, and then looked towards Okami once more. ''Shall we go, with your friend as well?'' she asked. She didn't bother introducing herself to the stranger, for they themselves didn't. It was safe to assume that a name was not important, due to the immediate connection of Okami's friendship with the stranger, and the fact that she was going to learn herself from the pinkette as well. She didn't even notice the lack of taste in the food, for hunger was a powerful motivator to those that starved. Perhaps she would wait a bit longer, as her gaze moved in between the two, the confidence in herself slowly coming back. She would be fine; for her will would not break here, for she was not something to abhor. And that.. already made her feel tons better then previously, all due to the cheerfulness of the fox, and her friend's willingness to come forward. Oh? thought Kris inwardly as he noticed the subtle change in demeanor of the blonde elf before him. If he had to put it in terms of animals, before the change she was kind of like a squirrel that lost its way, and was seeking help from its surroundings, but after the change, the aura she gave off was like a lion. A majestic, reliable, and pure feeling could be felt emanating from her. Interesting, is she the type that gains confidence around others? wondered Kris as Okami began to wander off, expecting them to follow, probably.
"Ah, sure. Let's go after Okami. By the way, I'm Kris. You are?" asked Kris naturally. Of course, he could already see the blonde elf's name, which was Besavel, just by looking at the popup that appeared that held her name and HP, but he still preferred to ask the usual way, since it was a trait of the old world that he didn't want to forget. He could tell that she was getting more confident with each passing second, and he could foresee her as a reliable ally to have in future. Perhaps it was lucky that he met her now, and was able to see a different side to her before she turned confidence. It wasn't often that someone would reveal their vulnerable side in their original world, but perhaps the situation in the world of Elder Tales was mind blowing enough to cause an uproar and create turmoil within the minds of the players. After all, what was supposed to be a patch for an extremely popular game resulted in them being transported to another world, with no obvious way to return. Of course it was bound to break the spirits of some. Even Kris himself panicked when he first arrived, but his mental pillar of support, his beloved sister that was now worlds apart from him, with just her image, provided him the mental strength to go on to this date. Hence, he could relate to how Besavel was feeling before.
Kris continued to watch Besavel as she ate the food and drank from the bottle. The lack of change of noticeable expression when she bit into the food told Kris that she didn't really bother about the taste in the first place. Maybe she was really, really hungry. That thought crossed Kris's mind for a moment as he glanced at Okami, wondering where she wanted to bring them. "She is really active, isn't she?" commented Kris as he raised his arm to indicate to the bubbly Okami ahead of Besavel and himself, "Even our first meeting was pretty crazy. In your case, I'm guessing she must have shocked you somehow, and completely dragged you into her own pace, right? It was something like that for me," Kris inferred the situation solely from his own experience, and continued to talk as he tried to find a suitable topic of conversation to go on. What better than to talk about their pink haired, Fox Tail Sorcerer friend that brought them together in the first place? It was practically the center of attraction in the first place.

Okami wasn't the kind of individual to let intense presences scare her off. No, like most things, they were like whitewash against her impenetrable field of delight and sunshine. So while her newly captive elf might have been a bit stiff, Okami ignored, if not outright failed to notice it. Dragging the samurai off was the only thing on her mind, mixed with some fun and giggles.
And then to her cheer, a familiar friend had made his presence known. "Krisy!" She called out excitedly, lifting a hand to wave at him energetically. Then he went and made a comment like that, "Hmph!" She huffed, puffing her cheeks and turning her head away from him, "Who asked you, you big meanie." It was obvious she wasn't really mad, if not by her body language then simply by how the way her tail swished behind her in excitement. Then he offered Okami's new elfin friend food and water and suddenly the fox-tail felt like she'd forgotten something really, really basic.
"Oh," she verbalized her realization, ears dripping down as the roaring beast that was the tiny elf girls stomach erupted into vocal declaration of need, "I'm sorry. I hadn't realized you might be hungry. Ehehe..." Her tails movements fell flat, and Okami poked two fingers together in embarrassment. A thought process that only lasted as long as it took for the samurai to finish her meal, by then the fox was back on her feet, rocking away.
"Take him with us, huh?" She asked playfully, intentionally mis-interpreting the woman's words. Bouncing her way back to the elf and once more taking her arm, placing her head on the elf's shoulder, "I don't think we need that big meanie with us. He's only good for summon spams, you know? Tooottally uncool~. Not like a big strong samurai~." Okami teased, smiling mirthfully, cracking a single knowing eye at the summoner in question. The fox-tail obviously didn't mean any harm by her words.

Let us End this By our own actions The blonde could just smile; it was the only thing she could do. With her moralities no longer in turmoil, her very being had become a pillar that her group of friends had relied on for most of their leaves; the steady, unyielding strength that accompanied her no matter where she went. Indeed, there was a kindness, that often wasn't visible under the rough surface of her blunt speech, and her high handed morality. Many thought of her as a pain, because she was strongly dedicated; but maybe it was that passion, that intense focus that made her strong. The girl watched them both, as she ate, and they observed her after they finished playing together. It wasn't uncomfortable, as the food was perhaps bland, but again, she hadn't noticed even a blandness to it. It was good to someone that hadn't known how to function. In fact, Okami's forgetfulness at her bodily needs, and her excitement reminded her of the light of the group. And Kris' teasing, but almost fearfully friendly manner was almost reminiscent as well. It made the girl comfortable, as such, the smile, the confidence, came out like a natural river. She would not be stopped now, as the loneliness, the crippling feeling of being lost and confused, and not being able to use what she wanted most, had gone. She was now complete, whole. Many would think this entirely too fast; it wasn't speed. It was purely a strong will that held doubt but briefly; and it was a flesh wound to that pride, to that sense of self. ''My name.. is Besavel.'' she answered the boy's first question, after all he had addressed her. There was a fondness in her gaze for the both of them, as she walked along with them, as if it was natural to her. ''There wasn't much of a shock; it was more of like watching a sunrise. You're surprised and then stuck in wonder for a few moments, as the dark melts away to the light, and then you feel content.'' she then answered him, her voice steady, but she found a warmth creeping in it. Was this too fast of a bond? Not. Besavel would say that it was the memory of her friends, somewhere in this game, that kept her strong. These people.. were just like her, but further along their adjustments. That meant that Besavel herself couldn't lose to them, and as such she wanted to stride in her own feelings, to overlap and lead them. She often led the way of everything, because of the kingly presence she exuded, the charisma that was intoxicating once most got to see the other sides of her. As the fox tail seemed to be playfully huffing at the male, whom she discovered was a summoner from the words of the pinkette, Besavel couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. ''It will be fine; even with the summons, it is better to guard our backs, then to leave it open to some threat.'' she said calmly. Indeed, she realized the other was teasing, and was playing along with it. ''Although, even big strong samurai don't mind some mindless back up, just in case.'' she said. Another smile touched her lips. The fox-tail had wrapped herself around an arm, and laid her head on the slim shoulders she had, and the elf just felt.. comfortable. It was probably part of the fox's personality, as she debated on doing something on the other. Normally, Besavel would hold down such things but an impulse just crested. She just had the sudden need to do this, like it was very important. She had to understand the texture. Besavel had always a fascination with animals, but usually a sword totting girl would frighten them off; sure there was no sword styles to be practiced, like asian countries, but Besavel had trained in her backyard, with sticks and such. And that usually made animals run out. She bravely reached out, and pet the tail of the one linked with her. It was.. ''so.. soft..'' she muttered very softly, her green eyes widening in pure, almost innocent wonder. Were.. all tails this soft!? If so, she had truly been missing out on something very fun, and important, and that saddened a part of her. But mostly, she perhaps glad to be here and now, touching this tail with affection.. oh wait, didn't most protest when you touched their tails? In her confusion at the soft feeling, Besavel felt her face flush red, as her mind scrambled, unable to comprehend if it was good or bad or in between. She just hoped Okami wouldn't take it badly or something similar to that. That was perhaps a fear, that she would never voice however.. it was importantly tucked away inside of herself. At least, for now before she stuttered or something. Oh? So that's how you want to play it... thought Kris as he smiled inwardly. This kind of banter was the usual business between them, and he never took offense for even a second. "Hey!" Kris protested, albeit in a comedic fashion, with a wry smile to indicate that he was joking as well. He listened to Besavel's description of her "shock". Well, we have a poet here, thought Kris as he nodded, understanding what Besavel was driving at. "Yes, I totally agree with you about Summoners," continued Kris, agreeing with Besavel. She knows how to handle Okami pretty well, seeing as she just met her, thought Kris, observing Besavel as she interacted with Okami. A diplomatic personality, perhaps? Kris continued the thought, and smiled as Besavel appeared to be in wonder at the softness of Okami's tail. Well, I have to agree with you there, it's certainly not something we can find back in our old world. And normal animals would run off if you tried to play with their tail, Kris echoed within his mind, though he did not opt to say it out loud. It was not proper for a guy to say that, after all. But who doesn't love animals? Putting the people who were allergic to animals and people who had mental grudges against animals aside, Kris believed that most people liked animals a lot, hence there was quite a number of Fox Tails within the city, which was what Kris was guessing. If he did a survey on it, which he probably could pull off, seeing as he had a Scribe sub-class, the results would probably fit his conjecture that most people chose Fox Tail as a race due to their love for animals, for simply because it looked cute.
"So," Kris began to say, "where do you want to head to? A nearby cafe to talk? An isolated building to learn the controls?" Kris threw out a couple of suggestions, the last one with the mindset of preserving one's pride. After all, no one would want to be seen to be learning how to access the basic functions of the game, right? Sure, everyone around here just started, but somehow it seemed that most people, including himself and Okami, had figured out how to use the menu and other things right from day 1. The cafe suggestion was made in mind of the fact that Besavel had not been eating and drinking for a while. One water bottle and a loaf of bread couldn't possibly be enough for such a person. Unless she was one that needed little sustenance to survive, but this was a game world, or at least, Kris thought it was, so hunger resistance might be lower in this world compared to the original world. Of course, the one who would probably make the final decision would probably be Okami, with her willful personality that takes people for a ride every single time they encountered. Hence, Kris mostly addressed Okami with the questions, though he was keeping Besavel's condition in mind, both physical and mental.

"Hmmhmm, two against one huh?" The fox tail kept an easy eye on them both, tail lazily swaying back and forth. The atmosphere had been filled with suspense and uncertainty once. When Okami approached the elfin girl, the woman was so focused on her thoughts that she didn't even notice the sorcerer. She'd been scared, unsure, lost - at least, that's what Alana thought. They all were, really. So now, in this comfortable group of friends, latched on to this lovely samurai with the barest hint of a smile...Okami felt like she'd accomplished something. "Honestly, you've even got her on your side now! I saw her first, you know~? I should have thought of bribing her with food first."
"But I guess we can let him come. If you insist." She relented, yet was not quite ready to give up her game. And then she felt it. A touch. "Aaah~" She let out, feeling a hand slide across her fluffiest tail. Fluffiest by default of being her only tail but still. "Oho? My, my Besavel, I didn't think you had it in you~" Okami purred, quite approving of the petting. A coy smile slipped onto the fox-tail's features, and her ears twitched in anticipation. "Not that I mind in the slightest, of course~ Would you like to scratch my ears next?" She offered, ears flickering once more to emphasis her question.
"Cafe! Cafe!" She said, still clinging to her samurai friend. "We can talk over food and get somewhere warm to stay." And briefly, the fox-tail's body tensed and tail straightened out, before relaxing once more with a yawn. "And they'll probably be somewhere close by for a nap. I'm tired~" Okami gave Besavel a tug on the arm, "Come on~ Come on~" She wasn't giving them much of a choice in the matter, it seemed.

Let us End this By our own actions Indeed, Besavel felt as if these two had come together before, meeting and understanding each other through each moment, each step that they took. It was fascinating in a way, to watch a friendship that was growing right before her eyes at a rapid rate. The male agreed with her perception, as Besavel didn't really think in the terms of a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game person, (she thought that was a mouthful, and decided to use the acronym she heard about from now on, realizing how long that world was) but more so of a medieval knight. She had really admired the tales about King Arthur and his court, and strove to show just as much nobility and honour as they had in those times. The male's words had drifted into the girl's skull, but she was too busy being caught in wonder at the texture, feeling, and just overall tailness of the tail before her. She couldn't get over the feeling that had come in her hand, and for a child that had always wanted to touch animals, this was.. something beyond miraculous. Where animals always like that? Although distracted, the knightly elf heard the male's suggestion, and realized they were mostly for her benefit; to keep the sense of her pride, should she have it intact. No, she didn't have that sense of pride, because her confidence in herself would not allow her to feel shame for learning something she had no idea of. For it is only by learning, that one is allowed to have pride. Therefore if she was seen failing, it wouldn't matter to Besavel. Because those failures would make her much stronger in the end. Okami seemed to be relatively fine with the proceedings, even slightly possessive in some points which had made a small smile appear on the girl's face. She wasn't bribed by the food, but rather by the thought of differing view points of knowledge. For one person saw certain things important, and others things not as important, when it was the opposite of some one else. Amassing knowledge was probably something more then important within this game. The girl cracked her neck softly, letting out a soft noise of content at this. It was.. fun being around people like this. She had missed this feeling. Although, Okami turned to face Besavel, and the blush on her face suddenly went on full blast. She had been caught stroking the other's tail, and the normally confident girl started squirming and blushing harder. The coy smile and the purring, oh god the purring, was just too much for the blonde elf, as she just felt her face be so very hot. She leaned her head a bit, hiding her eyes, because that's how embarrassed she was. But the fox-tail seemed to even take it a step further; she wanted her ears rubbed next. With a shy movement, the blonde slipped her other hand out of the grip of the pinketted, and rested on the top of her head, softly rubbing, and then running fingers along the ear. The softness, just the feel of the ears and tail.. when the fox girl straightened, Besavel took away her hands near fear, but once it showed it was a yawn, they both snuck back. The touching was soft, gentle, and a bit shy. After a few moments, Besavel stopped, and then just pulled the fox girl into a tight hug, stopping movement, and then burying her face in the smaller girl's head. She was shaking slightly, hearing the caster's will from a bit of a distance away, as she snuggled into the other girl. She didn't want to let go of the hug, because there was just this feeling that was squirming inside of Besavel, almost ready to burst like a dam. Although the soft shaking gave it away, Okami could probably feel the small bits of water that dropped onto her head. The Elf's face was hidden within her head, but she was crying. Crying because of all of the feelings that swirled up too deep inside of her; and for that single moment, she just let it go. Cordelia allowed herself to grieve, to feel pain, and most of all, to feel bewildered and lost. The hug wasn't crushing, so if the fox tail really wanted to exit out of it, she could. But the girl inside, the real life one, was letting herself be vulnerable for once. And it would honestly only be this once; for after this, she would become Besavel, and forget the old self. No, not forget, but honour that self like the dead; respectfully and always keeping the memory close to her bossom. But there was a feeling that the other girl, the one she was hugging, would understand this process perhaps, best out of anyone. That was only a gut feeling from the blonde, but that gut feeling was bonding into trust. It was something that was perhaps pure, perhaps naive, but it was a thing that only Besavel would trust without a second thought. Kindness was good; after all, a knight could not doubt their world, for it would swallow them up. Part of the girl understood this, and made a choice, right at that moment. She could have just become herself, and try to live in the world like she would have normally. Or she could become a guiding light, a force that would move their world and see how things would work. Besavel's heart felt at ease with that decision she made. She would become a force to shake the world; she would be the Future King, bringing her valour, her purity and her strength to those that needed the guidance. She would never back down from a challenge, and she would never find herself lacking in any movement. Softly, the soundless crying abated, as the blonde let go of the hug, and took a deep breath, swirling her thoughts and emotions into a single source of power. And lifting her head with a smile, she began to walk forward, to move towards the next day, letting Kris guide her and Okami to their destination. With her faith in hand, she would make it a blade.. a blade to carve out her future in this world. "Haaa. Really, what am I supposed to do about you? Follow me, I know a cafe nearby. Its just one street over, run by some People of the Land," said Kris as he gave an easy going sigh at Okami's behavior. He personally found her fun to tease and watch, but even though she was really over active, she appeared to be the type that doesn't plan much. At least in normal settings. Seeing as she was an alchemist, she probably had her serious side somewhere... hopefully. Well, if she were to be the wild one, then he would be the calm one. It was matching, in a way. It was no wonder that the both him and Okami could hit off so well, ever since their first encounter with that horde of boars a while back. Of course, their innate friendliness helped as well.
The dust gathered on the floor scattered about as Kris stepped toward the cafe. It really is a ruin, this city... thought Kris as he observed his surroundings carefully, noting the way that the ruins appeared to sway with the wind. Of course, it was just an illusion, really, after all the building can't really sway with the wind. It just was not possible in the game. However, it was a fact that the city was in ruins. The setting of Elder Tales was such that, According the the legends, there had been a massive war on Earth, shattering the old world, which was miraculously reconstructed by the gods into this one. It was quite a generic fantasy setting for its post apocalyptic backgrounds and its medieval appearances that matched the "Adventure" spirit flawlessly. Now, it was his reality. The buildings of past that reminded one of London, the London Eye, the Big Ben, the London Bridge... all appeared to be in ruins, as with the rest of the city. He eyed the ruins of a hospital for a moment, a place of intense familiarity to him, and looked away, trying not to think negatively about his current predicament. It was a good thing he was leading the group, walking in front with the other two probably trailing behind, for if one were to take a good look at his face, one would be able to see an utterly forlorn expression for a split second before it was wiped from his face, replaced by his usual, charming look.
Once they reached the cafe, Kris ordered some drinks from the pretty waitress at the cafe counter, before taking a seat himself. "So," Kris began saying after Besavel and Okami have probably settled down at the cafe, "where should we begin? Accessing the menu? Okami, you can take a break for now." He decided to start from the basics of the basics, since it was the bare minimum to even function normally for an Adventurer trapped in this world. Reaching out with his hand, he pressed his index finger ever so lightly against Besavel's forehead while saying, "Concentrate on your forehead, maybe even the point of contact between my finger and your forehead to make it easier, and your game menu should appear. Do that for a start."

She had, of course, caught the samurai like a child in the cookie jar. Except instead of sugary goodness (or maybe that was still here~?) it was pure, unrelenting fluff. Fluff that some might consider to be a personal space, Okami imagined, but not her. Oh no, she was a sexy ball of fluff. The greatest fluff that ever darned lived, even. So if others so desired to be graced with the glory that was 'the greatest fox-tails unmeasurable fluffy goodness that not even heaven could dare to match', then by all means she would be kind enough to let them have a taste of divine taily bliss. Or at least, that's what her ego inflated mind kept telling the slightly-well, near entirely-crazed sorcerer.
And, of course, it certainly helped that Besavel was so cute when she blushed. Her hesitant and timid motions reminded the fox-tail of a small, furry creature (ironically, she knew), and her embarrassment was just absolutely adorable. The elfin girl seemed like the kind of woman who was straight-laced to the point of not quite being able to interact with others on a more social basis. Like, how could the fox-tail nail it? She didn't seem to quite move the same way that other people did. You could say this was due to her being an individual, but there was more to it. It was like an innocence, a lack of understanding, yet she still carried a maturity expected of someone her age.
But maturity or not, everyone had their breaking point.
It started with a surprise hug from the seemingly unsociable Besavel. Okami, being her excitable self, squeed when the samurai had pulled her into a hug intent with enjoying the fox-tails fluff to the fullest. She snuggled into the warmth of the tiny woman's body, pleased with the personal contact initiated not by her, but by someone else. It was certainly the kind of thing the sorcerer wished happened more often, and was going full force flowers and sunshine, practically beaming her happiness at the elf.
Drip, drip
drip
The sorcerer, didn't know when she'd finally realized the little sprinkles of waters were tears, but she imagined it was before the full blown sobbing had started The fox-tail looked up at her friend, with just a hint of fear, and saw the elf's face wretched in pain. Or at least that's what Okami could see from what little the elf would let her, Besavel using the top of the pinkette's head to hide her...was it shame? Despair? Anger? Maybe all of these. She could certainly feel the flood of emotions, streaming tears raining down on the sorcerers scalp, as the elf clung to the fox-tail for support.
Gentle arms snaked their way around the samurai, and pulled her into the warmth she desired. Alana wasn't quite the same size as Besavel, but she was certainly tall enough in comparison that she could nuzzle her head into the elf's neck. A hand reached up and stroked the samurai's hair, "Shhh, shhh, it's okay." She said reassuringly, body sinking into the embrace shared with the pretty blond. She knew what this was. On the most basic principle, past the philosophy and theoretical hogwash that men with too much time on their hands came up with, past all those rationals and logical conclusions, this was something Alana was familiar with: scared uncertainty. This was the little boy that ran for your hugs when he'd prodded some animal for too long and was finally scared off with a bark or hiss. This was the little girl who searched for your embrace whenever the big scary sky decided it was the perfect time to rain and storm and thunder while they were playing outside. This was the child who came running up to you looking to hide away from the scary thing in the world they didn't understand.
But three time big sister Alana understood this better than anyone.
Raising her head up, rubbing her comforting cheeks into the soft skin of the scared woman in her arms, Okami whispered "I'll always be here for you." And she meant it. More than anything. Another hair stroke and soothing words of support. "If you ever need me, call, and I'll come running." She sounded not like her usual perky self, but like a mother, matronly and secure. A pillar of strength and warmth whenever you needed it. So when the sobbing had finally ceased, with a little more rubs and strokes and reassurances that hell and heaven could not keep the sorcerer at by, they had finally, finally separated.
Okami reached up to the elf's cheeks and brushed away few lingering tears, "I'm your personal ray of sunshine ya know? Whenever you need me, I'll be sure to scare away the big bad darkness. Okay~?" She asked, back to her chirpy, happy-go-lucky self and winked, "Can't let that pretty smile of yours go to waste, ne? Now come on, Krisy's been made to wait long enough~!" Grabbing the samurai's hand, the fox-tail started running off after the summoner, pulling the elf behind her.
Stumbling into the cafe Kris had chosen for them, which was rather nicely designed and more importantly, clean, she sat down with the others. "Hmm hmm," she hummed, pulling open the menu...upside down. And proceeding to read it the way she held it anyway. it was almost comically big compared to the tiny woman, and made her almost look like a child that was handling an adults menu. "A break?" She asked from behind her menu shield, "Oh goodie! Now I can do such wonderful things as sit hear and listen to you all and breath and eat tasteless food. How lucky~" The sorcerer said, not at all pleased with the idea of suddenly being booted from the conversation. "Silly Krisy, I'm always taking a break~ The only time I'm working is when I'm searching for my next victim~" She looked aside at the elf samurai and gave her a wink. But, despite what she had said, the fox-tail certainly seemed willing enough to let the summoner take the teaching lead. For now.

Let us End this By our own actions The fox girl didn't seem to be hesitant with the hug; in fact, the pink haired girl squeaked, and even happily snuggled into the taller elf. It was almost comforting; Cordelia never sought touch as a child, taking it if it came, but almost never initiated. It made her sisters worry, but to be fair, she was more of the boy of the family then a girl. Sometimes she had even put down her very gender role perception; in a way, she didn't care she was female, she could be as strong as a guy. But in another way, it was probably because she was female that she pushed herself so hard to match males. She really adored her father, and wanted to make him proud, despite at the time not having any sons. That was fixed later, but still until then, she had been one that wanted to be his son. If only because her father was the first one she had been able to remember. She wanted to make him proud. And that's why she had always been reticent towards others; a man did not want hugs, did not want to be touched or loved by anyone but his wife. And yet, Besavel was here, hugging the fox girl tightly to her. She could not deny her nature as a woman, a girl that needed the touch of others to feel better. It was comfortable to Besavel too, and seeming Okami be utterly, and completely happy made Besavel's own heart shake in joy, and a trust that became solid. That was probably why her walls fell down, if nothing but for a moment. Crying soundlessly was hard; but Besavel managed for some reason. She managed to avoid the summoner seeing her shameful, vulnerable side. But the girl in her arms understood. Gentle arms wrapped around her, as the walls of Besavel's fortress opened, showing the raging storm, the fields that were being battered by the winds inside of her heart. The soft pat on the head, the soothing words, reminded Besavel of her big sister. The big sister that wanted to play this with her; somewhere in this world, she too wandered. This made her want to cry more, but for Besavel, she had already shed tears. The comforting touch of the fox tail, no, of the real person under that game self, made most of her worries melt. So the storm passed, and the flower garden was slowly waiting for the shining sun once more. Soft, gentle cheek rubs, and those words of comfort that would soothe any soul; these things that made Besavel, no Cordelia, capable of coming back together. Finally, Besavel felt her courage; the strength had returned. Her smile, a radiant sun, just bloomed across her face. The other girl would see this, the thankfulness, the gratefulness, and the sheer trust in her words that accompanied her. A pure, holy feeling that filled Besavel up to the core; it was almost like believing in God, as her mother put it. Okami now held a permanent existence in the girl's life, like the sun did in the world, or God did in her home life. The fox-tail seemed to melt back into the cheery, excitable self, but the two girls, hiding themselves always from the world, had touched in that moment. Probably to the summoner, Kris, it would seem weird that the weird, awkward like atmosphere between the two was gone, as if it had never been in the first place. The pink haired girl grabbed Besavel's hand, and pulled her, the elf very nearly laughing; she hadn't quite laughed yet, but the bright smile on her face seemed to show how happy she was right now. She felt.. so good at this moment. Even as they caught up with the male, in the café, she watched the fox-tail deal with a menu like twice her size. The blonde wanted to laugh at this, but tried to conceal her smile. It didn't really work, particularly as Kris began to poke at Okami for being too active. It was.. adorable how those two were acting, and for the first time, Besavel let out a noise. Shaking a bit, the elf started to laugh, unable to hold it back anymore. She just laughed for a good few minutes, not excessively loud of course, but probably surprising the two with the joy in it. She lifted her head, and flashed a grin at the two, shaking her head as if trying to clear away the laughter. ''I'm sorry. I feel so light right now.. like on clouds.'' she said, closing her green eyes peacefully. Taking in a breath, she then released it, slowly relaxing her face back to a neutral expression. She could nearly feel Kris' finger, not quite touching, but near her forehead. With a nod, she took in a deep breath, thankful she had closed her eyes to focus herself once more. It was nice to feel all cloud like and fluffy, but she had to understand this world. The girl had a feeling that with these two by her side, everything would be alright. She missed her friends of course, but that wasn't going to stop her from going on, from finding her path. She was sure that they would like that as well. And softly, she felt his finger bump against her skin, and used it. Point. Focus. Concentrate. The game menu? She had no idea what it needed to look like. But she wanted, no needed, for it to appear before her. Another breath. Concentrate. Game Menu. It had to appear before her. Slowly, she opened her eyes; it would be there. The menu would be in front of her, and she would be able to see that this is a real world, but yet still the game that she had meant to play. Her eyes slid open, and then flashed open, widening as if in awe. Her body jumped slightly backwards, moving away from the male's finger before she hurt herself. There was a menu! It was strange.. and she didn't really understand some of the terms, but there was a menu! ''I.. there's a menu... I've never played this type of game before, so I don't know what some of these are, but.. it's there. A... floating thing.'' she said, almost timidly. She hadn't expected something like this to appear before her and it was kind of cementing the fact that this wasn't their world at all. Perhaps part of her hoped that she had accidentally went back in time, or fell asleep somewhere and was having a dream. But those type of things usually stopped once Besavel closed her eyes and concentrated on anything; that's how formless her sleep was. And if she had gone back in time, and swapped with someone, it would make sense if she didn't understand things right? Or did things she didn't know she could. But this sunk in. It was their world. Thankfully, she had already let out all of the pain; so Besavel just took in another breath, and hardened her resolve. It explained why their world looked so familiar; the town of London, where she went to visit quite a lot, the streets she grew up on when she lived with her family. These sort of things that weren't capable of being reproduced with no accuracy. Another breath sunk in, and she nodded to herself. She wouldn't be defeated by this world. ''Alright. I have the menu.'' she said in a confident tone of voice now, another smile touching her lips. Yes, she would be fine in this world; she would survive, and figure things out, and there would always be people at her side. She had found that already.. and it would stay with her. And then her stomach, having had enough, decided to make a loud, rumbling noise, clamoring it's hunger to the two near her. Besavel's cheeks fired up in a blush, as she stared down at the table embarrassed.
